3 hurt in West Bank terror shooting attack on cars, school buses

Three Israelis were wounded in a terror shooting attack against school buses and other cars on a major highway in the West Bank on Thursday morning, the military and medics said.

The attack took place in the West Bank town of al-Auja. Route 90, the main north-south artery in the Jordan Valley, passes through the Palestinian town.

Two bulletproof school buses and at least two cars were hit in the attack as they drove through al-Auja, according to medics and local authorities.

Unchecked Migration Threatens US Food Security, Experts Warn

Uncontrolled migration is exposing the United States’ food supply to diseases and parasites, posing a potential threat to national security, animal health experts cautioned in a report to The Epoch Times.

Dr. Michael Vickers, a seasoned veterinarian with five decades of experience and a member of the Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC), underscored the existing dangers, noting past tuberculosis (TB) infections in Texas dairy cows linked to illegal migrants. According to Vickers, the situation could worsen with the introduction of more severe ailments, such as flesh-eating parasites.

“These people are just destroying our country. And our food supply is going to be a real critical issue,” Dr. Vickers told The Epoch Times.

Thousands of Texas cattle have been slaughtered after contracting drug-resistant TB through contact with illegal immigrants working in dairies, Dr. Vickers said. In 2015, a herd of about 10,000 was affected in Castro County, and in 2019, another 13,000 cattle were infected in Sherman County, according to TAHC records.

New US record: Fifty-one million immigrants, nearly 20% of workforce

At 51.1 million, the number isn’t just the highest ever, but so is the share at 15.5%, according to Census Bureau numbers reviewed by the Center for Immigration Studies, which advocates enforcing border laws.

“Analysis of the Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey shows that the total foreign-born or immigrant population (legal and illegal) hit a new record high of 51.4 million in February 2024 — an increase of 6.4 million since President Biden took office.

At 15.5%, the foreign-born share is also a new record in American history,” said the report.

“The enormous scale of immigration over the past three years has implications for nearly every aspect of American society, including public coffers, the labor market, schools, hospitals, and the balance of political power, to say nothing of whether we can assimilate this many people,” wrote the report’s authors, Steven Camarota and Karen Zeigler.

The report has several highlights that focus on where the immigrants came from, their education levels, and the percentage of the American workforce they now account for.

FDA Warns Of High Seizure Risk For Children Shortly After Having Covid Jabs

Toddlers and other young children faced a higher risk of seizures shortly after COVID-19 vaccination, according to a new study from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Data for the FDA study of mRNA-vaccine-induced febrile seizures in children came from several commercial databases, including CVS Health, Optum and Carelon Research, compiled from the case files of children 2 to 5 years young.

The study was conducted after the researchers identified convulsions and seizures happening frequently among children shortly after getting either the Pfizer or Moderna spike prion stab.

The conclusions were rather definitive, with the results ensuring that the seizures, according to researcher’s quote, “are more likely to be associated with vaccination rather than other causes.”

Heart Scarring Detected Over 1 Year After COVID-19 Vaccination: Studies

Heart scarring was detected more than one year after COVID-19 vaccination in some people who suffered myocarditis following receipt of a shot, researchers reported in new studies.

A third of 60 patients with follow-up cardiac imaging done more than 12 months after their myocarditis diagnosis had persistent late gadolinium enhancement (LGE), which is, in the majority of cases, reflective of heart scarring, Australian researchers reported in a preprint of a new study, published on March 22.

Myocarditis is a form of heart inflammation.

The median time from receipt of a vaccine to follow-up imaging was 548 days, with the longest interval being 603 days.

“We found that the incidence of persistent myocardial fibrosis is high, seen in almost a third of patients at >12 months post diagnosis, which could have implications for the management and prognosis of this predominantly young cohort,” the researchers wrote.

US foreign-born population shatters record as border crisis escalates

The immigrant population has exploded by an unprecedented 6.4 million under President Biden amid the migrant crisis — an increase four times higher than under former President Donald Trump,  a new study reveals.

Overall, a record-shattering 51 million people living in the United States were born in another country, a surge triggered by the millions of migrants crossing the border, the report by the Center for Immigration Studies found.

“We’ve never seen anything like this before over a three-year period of time. All prior records have been surpassed,” said Steven Camarota, the research director for CIS and author of the analysis.

Kamala Touts Creation of Hundreds of Thousands of Jobs—In Central America

In a fact sheet released Monday, the White House provided an “update” on Harris’s efforts to address the “root causes” of illegal immigration. One section, titled “Creating Opportunities,” notes that “U.S. government support for as many as 23,000 private sector firms in northern Central America has helped create and sustain up to an estimated 250,000 jobs.” The fact sheet goes on to tout U.S. taxpayer-funded vocational training and jobs summits for residents of El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.

“Vice President Harris continues to lead the implementation of the Root Causes Strategy, which tackles the drivers of irregular migration,” the sheet says. “These efforts provide hope and opportunity to the people of Central America, affirming that a secure and prosperous future lies in their home communities.”

Harris’s focus on Central American jobs comes amid rising unemployment in the United States. The unemployment rate spiked to a two-year high in February, and in Washington, unemployment is at its highest level since the COVID-19 pandemic. President Joe Biden responded to those rates by calling the American economy “the envy of the world.”

Secret Facebook project spied on Snapchat user data, documents say

(AP Photo/Michael Dwyer, File)

In 2016, Facebook carried out a secret project to spy on Snapchat user data and later used the same snooping method on YouTube and Amazon to gain a competitive advantage, according to newly unsealed court documents.

The documents — which came from a class-action lawsuit between consumers and Facebook’s parent company, Meta — allege that the internal operation, codenamed “Project Ghostbusters,” came at Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s request.

The solution engineers came up with involved the company’s virtual private network (VPN) service Onavo, which enabled Facebook to “intercept” and “decrypt” Snapchat’s protected analytics data, the documents say.

The Onavo team allegedly developed “kits” allowing them to read “what would otherwise be encrypted traffic” to measure their competitor’s in-app activity. According to the documents, Facebook later deployed the spying technique against YouTube from 2017 to 2018 and Amazon in 2018.

Man in ‘Scream’ Mask Arrested for Allegedly Killing Neighbor with Chainsaw

“Edward Whitehead Junior was struck multiple times with a knife and a battery-operated chainsaw,” said Trooper Anthony Petroski.

59-year-old Whitehead was rushed to St. Luke’s Carbon County Hospital, but he didn’t make it. Meanwhile, State Police were left with a very strange description of the attacker.

“The suspect was wearing an all-black outfit, consisting of a mask of the Scream character from a movie from a few years ago,” said Trooper Petroski.

Pretty quickly, State Police determined the suspect was 30-year-old Zak Moyer, who lived right next door to Whitehead.

“As he pulls the trigger, he turns and, in that short turn, he’s realizing it didn’t go off because he’s supposed to, at that point, have shot [my partner] and would be turning towards me,” McHone continued. “He didn’t follow through because he missed one step, and that was loading his weapon.”

The couple reportedly hid inside their home for several minutes until police arrived. They would soon learn that it wasn’t the first time Messer had been to their home. Messer had reportedly visited their house three times within the past year, allegedly looking for his father.

The couple did not know who the man’s father is.

The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office reported that the suspect was charged with assault by pointing a gun, first-degree trespassing, and stalking. The charges came with a set bail of $200,000.

Border Patrol union says Biden is flying in migrants so ‘border doesn’t look as out of control,’ warns of amnesty plan

National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd (Photo by Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images)

National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd told the New York Post on Wednesday that the Biden administration is artificially reducing the number of migrant encounters at the southern border.

Judd explained that the administration is flying migrants into the United States “so that the border doesn’t look as out of control.” The union president called the plan “just a bait and switch.”

“They’re just paroling people in through airports rather than having them come across the border,” Judd told the Post. “They’re just gonna keep the numbers at around 5,000 [border crossings per day], parole people in and say, ‘Oh, look, we cut our numbers down.'”

The number of border encounters is “astronomical[ly] high” compared to the Donald Trump and Barack Obama administrations.

9 Illegal Immigrants Charged In Assault Of National Guard Troops At Border

The charges the migrants face include inciting a riot, damage of property of over $2,500 and assault on members of the Guard, the source said.

Texas authorities first arrested Honduran national Junior Evaristo-Benitez, 21, who is now charged with assault on a public servant, a third-degree felony, according to Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Eliot Torres.

Evaristo-Benitez, another of the nine charged, allegedly stomped on a soldier’s knee “purposefully and with malice,” according to Border Report.

The migrants who stormed the border had torn down concertina wire used to prevent illegal entries, and made their way to the border wall.

UK Population Rose by More Than 4 Million Since 2011 to Record 67.6 Million Amid Mass Migration

Finnbarr Webster/Getty Images

England saw the largest increase of the four UK nations, jumping by 7.5 per cent over the time period, or an increase of four million people, the ONS said.

The change was mostly driven by foreign migration as opposed to internal growth, with the birth rate having been below replacement levels and continually declining over the same time as the population rose.

While the Conservative Party had vowed to reduce migration following Brexit, the opposite has happened, with net migration hitting new highs in both of the past two years, over which time it hit a record 1.2 million.

Demonstrating the impacts of importing millions of foreigners into the country, a report from the Resolution Foundation this week found that housing is more expensive in the UK than in any other country within the OECD group of high-income countries, with British housing costing 57 per cent more than in Austria and 36 per cent higher than in Canada.

Pastor’s child turned OnlyFans model moves away from sin to salvation: ‘This is not where you wanna go’

Nala Ray, an Illinois-born pastor’s child turned OnlyFans model, left the adult industry after a come-to-Jesus moment led her to reconnect with her forgotten faith.

The content creator was working as an orthopedic surgery scheduler before a man recruited her for the online site in 2020, but despite her popularity as a top 1% earner on OnlyFans (OF), a subscription-based adult website, Nala had a change of heart.

The content creator’s baptism video posted last month garnered over 4 million views on TikTok, generating an opposing debate in the comment section.

While some users wrote that the TikToker is “beyond saving,” others stated that they’re “happy to see people choose Jesus.” A comment with over 17K likes said, “If this change is genuine and you’re doing it for you then don’t let anyone hold you back. God forgives all who truly seek him.”

Another user’s statement with over 18K likes read, “To anyon[e] that says ‘beyond saving’ go open up your Bible and read the Gospels, He can do anything.”

Jeffrey Epstein’s Island Visitors Exposed by Data Broker

PHOTO-ILLUSTRATION: ANJALI NAIR; GETTY IMAGES

NEARLY 200 MOBILE devices of people who visited Jeffrey Epstein’s notorious “pedophile island” in the years prior to his death left an invisible trail of data pointing back to their own homes and offices. Maps of these visitations generated by a troubled international data broker with defense industry ties, discovered last week by WIRED, document the numerous trips of wealthy and influential individuals seemingly undeterred by Epstein’s status as a convicted sex offender.

Officially, this data is intended to be used by companies hoping to determine where potential customers work and reside. But in October 2023, the Journal revealed that Near had once provided data to the US military via a maze of obscure marketing companies, cutouts, and conduits to defense contractors. Bankruptcy records reviewed by WIRED show that in April 2023, Near Intelligence signed a yearlong contract with another firm called nContext, a subsidiary of the defense contractor Sierra Nevada.

nContext secured six federal contracts to provide data in support of the National Security Agency and the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, according to reporting by Byron Tau, author of Means of Control, an exposé of the data-broker industry and its ties to the US surveillance state. According to information released during a $100 million funding round in 2019, Near claims to have information on roughly 1.6 billion people in 44 countries.

WIRED extracted the location data from the charts and maps to conduct its analysis, which is ongoing. For this story, we reproduced some of the maps created by Near, while excluding any precise location data that could be used to identify properties or individuals, to protect the privacy of anyone uninvolved in Epstein’s crimes.

US senator Ron Wyden in early February urged federal regulators to launch investigations into Near Intelligence, citing reporting by The Wall Street Journal that found its platform had been used by a third party to geofence “sensitive locations,” including roughly 600 reproductive health clinics at the behest of a conservative group that waged a multiyear antiabortion campaign. US regulators have begun to designate certain types of locations “sensitive,” including health clinics, domestic abuse shelters, and places of religious worship, in an attempt to shield Americans from predatory data brokers amid the US Congress’s years-long failure to pass a comprehensive privacy law.

While many of the coordinates captured by Near point to multimillion-dollar homes in numerous US states, others point to lower-income areas where Epstein victims are known to have lived and attended school, including areas of West Palm Beach, Florida, where police and a private investigator say they located around 40 of Epstein’s victims.

Mom Of Boy Killed By Illegal Border Crosser Speaks Out: ‘His Life Was Taken Way Too Early By Someone Who Shouldn’t Be Here’

Wise became one of the many victims of the ongoing border invasion in February, shortly after he was struck and killed by an illegal border crosser as he headed home from school. The elementary school student used to ride the bus, but after his family moved apartments, he was asked to walk.

Thursday, February 8 was Wise’s first and last day to walk his new after-school route. Before the 10-year-old could even make it to the stop sign where someone was waiting to meet him, Wise was hit by a truck driven by an illegal border crosser.

“Everybody else let [Wise] cross the street but this car was so impatient that it went around. And he was almost on the grass, like a step away from being on the grass when he got hit,” Benson said.

Report: Soros Funding Pro-Hamas Group

Still, Soros’ $25 billion left-wing Open Society Foundations grantmaking network “is proud to be among the many international funders of Al Mezan, alongside the European Union and governments including Sweden and the Netherlands,” spokesman Jonathan Kaplan told the Examiner.

According to Kaplan, none of the foreign benefactors have been designated by the U.S. as supporting terrorism.

At least one terrorism expert says U.S. laws need to be strengthened to block tax-exempt groups from being able to fund terrorist-linked foreign groups.

News that Soros — 93, Jewish and a Holocaust survivor — funneled money to pro-Hamas groups is not shocking because in December the New York Post reported the billionaire sent “more than $50 million” into a network of Iranian-sympathizer groups whose members carry significant influence in President Joe Biden’s White House.

102-year-old California father in wheelchair ordered to scrub graffiti off his property or face $1.1K fine

Silva said he had painted over the recurring graffiti himself without issue for years, but it’s become more of a struggle as he gets deeper into his twilight years.

“It was very easy because I was a contractor, you know. I’ll be 103 in two months or so. That slowed it up a little bit, you know,” Silva added.

Silva’s family slammed the “absurd” actions by the city over the reoccurring issue.

“It was so absurd, it’s like a joke. If you drive around the city and see the graffiti everywhere, it’s just, I don’t know what to say,” Silva’s daughter-in-law Elena Silva told the outlet.

While the city is out targeting senior citizens for vandalism on their property, crime in Oakland seems to be intensifying.
