Georgia reprimands Fulton County for scanning ballots twice in 2020 recount

The Georgia State Election Board is requiring Fulton County to implement an independent election monitor in the 2024 election, after an independent investigation found that the county likely scanned thousands of ballots twice in a recount of the 2020 election.

The state board voted to implement the independent monitor in a 2-1 vote on Tuesday, which ended one of the last probes into the results of the 2020 election, which Trump claimed was stolen from him.

The board also voted to dismiss several other complaints against the county, including allegations that it added 16,000 votes to its count before certifying the election, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

The results of the investigation determined that President Joe Biden still won the county over former President Donald Trump, because the vote margin was substantial enough in three independent vote counts. But the county still violated regulations and statues in its counting process.

California mom beat toddler ‘like a rag doll’ on plane as passengers tried to intervene: court docs

A Sacramento, California, mom allegedly kicked and backhanded her 2-year-old daughter on a plane after her little one woke her up during a May 1 flight from Mexico, according to federal court documents.

Breanna Mistler, 33, allegedly shook her daughter “like a rag doll” while screaming, “Shut the f— up,” which sparked a fight with other passengers who tried to protect the child, court documents say.

Mistler allegedly turned her aggression toward the other passengers, and told them to “mind your f—ing business,” court documents say.

This is the second time in less than six months that the Sacramento mother was charged with child endangerment. In December, she allegedly brought her daughter to burglarize her mother’s home and slashed her mother’s tires.

Customs and Border Protection officers detained Mistler at the airport and noted bruises in multiple places on the toddler, federal prosecutors said in a press release. The Port of Seattle Police and the FBI took over the investigation.

Hamas is holding hostages as SEX SLAVES in dungeons, blasts ex Israeli aide in furious clash

Hamas thugs are holding Israeli hostages as “sex slaves in dungeons,” an ex-Israeli aide revealed to The Sun.

But the horrific claim surrounding the captives’ torment was angrily dismissed by a pro-Palestinian TV star who fumed: “Stop your lies, we don’t care.”

Speaking on The Sun’s Never Mind the Ballots, Eylon Levy, former Israeli government spokesman, spoke of the trauma some 130 hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza were experiencing. Levy said:

“We know that they are being starved and tortured and executed and raped in captivity.” He continued: “I’m tearing my hair out that people do not understand that right now.

Prosecutor offers strong rebuke of Pleasanton police as dismemberment murder trial ends

A jury will soon decide the fate of a Pleasanton man accused of murdering his fiancée inside their apartment, dismembering her with power tools and dumping her body before simply continuing on with his life.

Joseph Roberts, 43, was once a darling of those who oppose the #MeToo movement after he penned an op-ed about being falsely accused of sexual assault. Today, he’s on trial for allegedly murdering 27-year-old Rachel “Imani” Buckner, whose mangled torso was found along the Alameda shoreline last July.

“Look at Imani’s body,” Deputy District Attorney Colleen Clark told jurors during her closing argument Monday. “That is the body of a murder victim. The way he dismembered her, the way he cut her body.”

Clark’s lengthy argument painted a picture of an abusive relationship with escalating violence that ended with a homicide she admits she can’t fully describe.

Buckner’s head has never been found and her torso provided forensic examiners with no insight into exactly how she died, though her death was ruled a homicide. That fact has been seized on by Roberts’ lawyers, who argue that without a specific cause of death there can be no conviction of murder.

But Clark saved some of her harshest words for the Pleasanton Police Department, who were called to the home numerous times by neighbors, reporting loud screams, bangs, thumps and other obvious signs of domestic violence. The officers who responded regularly failed to act, letting Roberts get away with obvious lies, and allowed themselves to be “charmed” by a “master manipulator,” Clark said.

Phone records show Roberts traveled to Alameda near the area where Buckner’s torso was found, Clark said. Later, Roberts used Buckner’s phone to quit her job so that their boss at Jo-Ann Fabrics wouldn’t become alerted to Buckner’s disappearance. But when he did so, he used a particular word, “assignment,” which Buckner had never used to describe her job before, but Roberts had, Clark said.

British Govt Report Shows UK Can Not Achieve ‘Net Zero’

The British government, like other countries, has pledged to stop emitting carbon dioxide by transitioning to a ‘green’ economy

That means relying on wind and solar power rather than ‘fossil fuels’, hydroelectric and nuclear.

Such promises are easy to make, but it turns out they are impossible to keep.

The Telegraph reports on a new study that was commissioned by the British government:

Britain is incapable of building the wind farms, solar farms and transmission networks essential to net zero, a government report has warned.

The report, a “readiness study” for the UK supply chain, was commissioned by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero and released without any publicity on April 17.

Here are some of the problems identified in the report that came out earlier today. The first is, sadly, that the U.K. doesn’t have enough ships:

America’s Largest Muslim Advocacy Group is Very Upset Their Pro-Hamas Encampment is Gone

The Council on Islamic Relations, whose founder Nihad Awad praised the October 7 terrorist attacks in Israel, is calling on George Washington University to negotiate with pro-Hamas students who built an illegal encampment on campus. Agitators also defaced a statue of America’s first president, George Washington, with a Palestinian flag (the flag Hamas wears in the Gaza Strip) and a Islamic keffiyeh.

Early Wednesday morning, arrests were made as the encampment was dismantled and George Washington was restored.

In response, CAIR pushed out an email touting the parents of students falsely claiming Israel is committing genocide, dictating terms and demanding negotiations. In their condemnation, they spelled the name of GW University President Ellen  Granberg incorrectly. Students have been chanting for suicide bombings and beheadings of administrators.

In 2007, CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation project, which funneled money through U.S. based businesses to Hamas military leaders in the Gaza Strip.

“From 1989-2001, one such network raised millions of dollars for Hamas through a Texas-based charity known as the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development. In December 2001, U.S. authorities raided HLF and froze its assets. Ultimately, five individuals were convicted and sent to prison for providing material support to Hamas,” research and testimony from the Foundation for Defense of Democracies states

Israel’s Newest Security Threat – Is the US Next?

Immensely disturbing is that “massive” amounts of advanced Chinese military equipment were found in Gaza by the IDF during its military operations there. Pictured: A Hamas weapons cache discovered by Israel Defense Force soldiers in the Gaza Strip, in December 2023. (Image source: IDF)

The Iranian-orchestrated Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 — which resulted in mass rapes, the murders of 1,200 men, women, children and infants; taking more than 250 hostages and firing thousands of rockets at Israeli towns and cities — has shown that China, which Israel might have thought was an ally, turned out to be, sadly, more of an enemy.

China refused to condemn Hamas and its terrorist invasion of Israel, choosing instead to condemn Israel just a week after the massacre and before Israel had even launched its ground operation in the Gaza Strip.

Israel has had diplomatic ties with China for more than three decades, and has cultivated increasingly close-knit ties with it for the past decade, especially after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s 2017 visit to China which led to 25 cooperation agreements, including in science, technology, transport, food and agriculture, at an estimated value of $2 billion. At that time, Netanyahu expressed interest in joining China’s Belt and Road Initiative and invited China to build infrastructure projects in Israel.

Netanyahu’s invitation has since led to China’s deep involvement in Israeli infrastructure. That includes building the new automated deep-sea port in Haifa Bay; the Carmel Tunnels in Haifa; a railway tunnel in northern Israel; a port in Ashdod, and the Tel Aviv light rail system. China also manages some desalination and electricity infrastructure in Israel. Between 2002 and 2020, Chinese companies, including Alibaba and Huawei, invested in 463 Israeli companies, predominantly in the technology sector, especially in the life sciences, software development and IT sectors. Fifty-three percent of the Chinese investors in Israeli companies were state-owned, according to a 2021 study. China controls Tnuva, Israel’s milk and dairy giant, as well as the crop-protection company Adama Agricultural Solutions. In addition, Israeli universities all have partnerships with Chinese universities.

China’s energetic embrace of Hamas — whose officials have vowed to repeat the October 7 attack, time and again, until Israel is annihilated — therefore, appears to have come as something of a shock to Israel, mixed, apparently, with deep disappointment.

In December 2023, Israeli tech companies and manufacturers reported that while China had not officially announced sanctions against Israel, Chinese suppliers had begun to make it difficult for them to import necessary materials.

“The Chinese are imposing a kind of sanction on us. They don’t officially declare it, but they are delaying shipments to Israel,” one unnamed senior figure in a factory told Ynet.

China’s deep involvement in Israel’s infrastructure, technology, food and agriculture industries is deeply concerning, especially because Iran and China are close partners. In 2021, the two regimes signed a massive 25-year comprehensive strategic cooperation deal amounting to a total of $400 billion, which included military cooperation, joint training, research and intelligence sharing, in exchange for Iran’s sale of oil and gas to China at a heavily discounted price…..
