Video: Feds show up at pro-life activist’s childhood home, ask her mother for information on her
According to Ring security camera footage first obtained by The Daily Signal, the agents spoke to the mother of Elise Ketch, a pro-life activist with the group Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU), and asked her for information on Ketch.
In another security video, Ketch’s mother is heard calling her daughter on speakerphone to let her know she has “two FBI agents at the front door.”
“FBI agents? Well, don’t tell them anything. Don’t let them in. Don’t talk to them,” Elise Ketch responds.
“While they reassured my mother that I was not in trouble, it’s also possible that they see me as a threat due to my pro-life activism and intended to investigate me,” Ketch added. “Yet to my knowledge, they never attempted to follow up with me or my attorney, so I believe the FBI’s true motive behind their visit to my parents’ home was to intimidate me and my team.”
Ketch said she is worried about her family’s safety in the wake of the surprise visit, but added, “I refuse to back down.”

Ex-con sex offender charged with grooming, raping, infecting teenage boy with HIV: ‘Vile predator’
A Michigan man who previously served prison time for knowingly transmitting HIV to sexual partners is under arrest again for allegedly transmitting the disease to a teenage boy after grooming him for sex.
In a Facebook post, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office says that 55-year-old John Dushan Cole was arrested last week on 12 felony charges that include criminal sexual conduct, accosting a child for immoral purposes and knowingly engaging in intercourse with the intent to infect an uninformed partner with HIV.
Police say that Cole, who previously went by the name “Johnny Peters,” was previously convicted of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct in 1987 and sentenced to prison eight years later for document fraud.
In 2013, Cole was sent to prison again for felony sexual penetration with an uninformed partner after officials investigated an increase in young men testing positive for HIV.

The new report — put out by the American Economic Liberties Project and the Initiative for Medicines, Access, and Knowledge (I-MAK) — focuses specifically on pharmaceutical companies’ antitrust law violations, which the groups say are a key reason why U.S. drug prices are astonishingly high compared to those of other rich nations.
Examining the 100 top-selling drug products in Medicare Part D — which covers prescription medicines — and Medicaid, the report estimates that Big Pharma‘s antitrust violations “increased Part D gross spending by 14.15%, or $14.82 billion, and increased Medicaid gross drug spending by 9.05%, or $3.15 billion, in 2019 for the top 100 drugs in each.”
Assuming that pharmaceutical companies’ antitrust violations similarly affected retail brand drug spending, the report estimates that “U.S. patients and payers spent an additional $40.07 billion on pharmaceuticals in 2019.”
The report highlights 10 illegal anticompetitive schemes that U.S. pharmaceutical companies deploy to juice their profits and keep prices high, including horizontal collusion, patent fraud, no-generics agreements and sham citizen petitions aimed at convincing regulators to delay approval of potential competitor drugs.
“This report documents the many ways Big Pharma is manipulating and breaking the law to expand corporate profits at the expense of patients and taxpayers,” said Peinert.

El Salvador sends troops to surround town after national police officer killed
More than 5,000 soldiers and 500 police encircled a small town in northern El Salvador after President Nayib Bukele said Wednesday gang members had killed a member of the national police there.
Bukele said via Twitter that the deployment in Nueva Concepción, about 43 miles, north of the capital, was “in search of those responsible for the homicide and the entire gang structure and collaborators still hiding in that place.”
“They will pay dearly for the murder of our hero,” Bukele said.
Bukele has been waging an all out war against the country’s powerful street gangs since March 2022. He requested the Congress grant him extraordinary powers after gangs were blamed for 62 killings on March 26. The measures include the suspension of some fundamental rights.
Britain baffled by shocking surge in death rates last year with no clear cause
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) released figures on excess deaths, which are deaths of people who died above the five-year average, which excluded COVID in 2020 as a spiked death figure year.
The excess deaths number for 2022 was 32,441 in England and Wales from May to December, the Express reported. Earlier in the year, the number for excess deaths had dipped much lower than the average level.
Dr. Marc Siegel, professor of medicine at NYU-Langone Medical Center and a Fox News contributor, told Fox News Digital that the U.K. health authorities should recognize that even excluding direct deaths due to COVID-19 from the data does not exclude the indirect effects which are substantial.
The Guardian in January similarly highlighted the excess death rate, noting it was “a fifth higher than the average from 2016 to 2019.”

“We cannot play an active role in such an alliance, in such a coalition, because we have neither the training capacities, the competencies, or the planes,” he added.

Details of Rollins’ misconduct – highlighted in the report released Wednesday by DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s office – showed that Rollins attempted to swing an election by assisting “Ricardo Arroyo with his Democratic primary campaign for Suffolk D.A.”
Rollins, according to the report, went so far as to offer Arroyo advice on how to handle the sexual assault allegations levied against him during his campaign and also provided media outlets with “negative information” about his challenger, Kevin Hayden.

Durham Report Condemns the FBI’s Russia Probe — But Don’t Expect It to Make a Difference
Even after the Mueller investigation found insufficient evidence of collusion between the Russian government and the Trump campaign, Rep. Schiff assured the public in March 2018, that “I can certainly say with confidence that there is significant evidence of collusion between the campaign and Russia” and he repeatedly promised to reveal it in his committee.
He never did, of course. Instead, he regularly criticized Durham’s investigation and called for it to end, to prevent this report from ever being released.
Others on the intelligence committee, like Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.), also insisted there was clear evidence of collusion. No less a figure than Obama’s former national intelligence director James Clapper suggested Trump was a Russian “asset.”
The “pee tape” story was repeated endlessly by the media and by Comey. Durham, however, eventually showed that the source of the story was a Clinton associate.
According to Durham, Comey — who later wrote and sold a book on “ethical leadership” — led the FBI to use “raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence” to effectively tie up a duly elected president for three years.
