LGBT Pride ‘Youth Carnival’ Bars Parents From Attending
Organizers of a “Youth Carnival” sponsored by two Indiana LGBT+ associations and the Indianapolis Airport Authority will not allow parents to attend with their children.
According to an Instagram post by Indiana Youth Group, it is collaborating with IndyPride to hold the carnival for “youth” ages 12 to 20 at an activity center nicknamed “The Pit” on June 7 from 1 to 6 p.m.
The event, restricted to those “youth,” promises games, vendors, food, fun, and unspecified “entertainment.”
Indiana Youth Group describes itself as an organization that “serves young people ages 12-24 who self-identify as LGBTQ+, as well as their ally peers.” On its website, the group says it “strives to provide safer spaces to build self-confidence, explore individualism, and develop friendships within the LGBTQ+ community.”
Moms for Liberty founder Tiffany Justice, whose group champions parents’ rights, called this provision “a red flag.”
“Why would parents send their kids anywhere they aren’t welcome?” Justice asked The Daily Signal.

Border Agents Arrest Illegal Migrants With Drugs, Thousands In Cash At Northern Border
Border Patrol made the latest discovery after seeing two individuals walking near the border in Sweetgrass, Montana, according to CBP. The two people were heading to a nearby vehicle parked outside a motel.
After searching the vehicle, agents found the two other illegal migrants, cash, drugs and loaded gun with three magazines, according to CBP.
“Havre Sector’s commitment to border security once again shows that vigilance is necessary to gaining operational advantage against all northern border threats,” Acting Deputy Chief Patrol Agent Samuel Rodriguez said in a statement.

‘With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model,’ her representatives said in a statement.
Turner was Born in 1939 in Brownsville, Tennessee. She rose to fame as part of the Ike and Tina Turner duo in the 70s before launching a solo career that is among the most successful of any female performer in history.
Dubbed the Queen of Rock ‘N’ Roll, she is survived by three children.

Satellite Image Reveals Supersonic Drone At Chinese Military Base
In a separate image, the drone was recently unveiled at a military parade.
Last month, a secret document from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency said the Chinese military could soon deploy a high-altitude spy drone that travels at Mach 3, or three times the speed of sound, at an altitude of 100,000 feet.
The document was seen by The Washington Post in April and initially posted on a Discord server by a member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard.
According to Andreas Rupprecht, who studies Chinese military aviation, the spy drone was seen at Lu’an Airbase, home to the 29th Air Regiment of the People’s Liberation Army Air Force’s 10th Bomber Division.
Germany: Police carry out nationwide raids against climate activists
Police in Germany on Wednesday (May 24) searched 15 properties across the country over protests by Last Generation, a climate activist group. In Munich, prosecutors are investigating seven suspects aged between 22 and 38.
There is suspicion that they were forming or supporting a criminal organisation, said police in a statement. No arrests have reportedly been made.
The suspects are believed to have been raising funds to finance further crimes on behalf of Last Generation. The police say that they have collected at least 1.4 million euros ($1.54 million) in donations.
It is suspected that two of the defendants sabotaged the Trieste-Ingolstadt oil pipeline. It is considered critical infrastructure and hence, is subject to special protection.
Google, European Union to develop AI pact ahead of new Artificial Intelligence rules, says EU industry chief
European Union industry chief Thierry Breton, on Wednesday, said that Google’s parent company Alphabet and the European Commission plan to create an artificial intelligence (AI) pact calling for European and non-European companies ahead of rules to govern the technology.
Breton earlier met Google CEO, Sundar Pichai in Brussels. After the meeting, he released a statement saying, “Sundar and I agreed that we cannot afford to wait until AI regulation actually becomes applicable, and to work together with all AI developers to already develop an AI pact on a voluntary basis ahead of the legal deadline.”
He further urged the European Union countries and lawmakers to decide on the details of the Commission’s proposed AI rules before the end of the year. Both groups are yet to start negotiations to straighten out their differences.

Syrian brothers arrested in Germany planned to blow up packed Swedish church
In a joint press release by German federal police, Hamburg state police, and the Hamburg public prosecutor’s office, authorities revealed that two Syrian nationals had been intending to detonate a homemade bomb on an unspecified Christian place of worship in the Scandinavian country.
Anas K., 28, and Ahmad K., 24, were arrested at their homes in Hamburg and Kempten in the early hours of April 25 as police executed an arrest warrant for the former for terrorist financing.
They soon discovered the brothers had been preparing to build a homemade explosive belt to attack civilians, with police also recovering substantial evidence including chemicals consistent with bomb-making and a number of burner phones.

Shock poll: 60% of Green voters agree mass immigration is driving housing crisis in German state of Baden-Württemberg
In a sign that Germany’s open-door immigration policy is increasingly being rejected by more and more voters, polling data from one of Germany’s largest states, Baden-Württemberg, shows that 68 percent of voters there believe the federal government’s migration policy is exacerbating the housing shortage.
The poll, from INSA and commissioned by the Alternative for Germany (AfD) parliamentary group in Baden-Württemberg, showed 68 percent believe the government’s policy is harming the housing market, while only 19 percent of people were convinced otherwise.
Although INSA performed the polling for the AfD, it is considered one of the most respected polling firms in the country and performs polling directly for a variety of parties.
The poll has some surprising results, with 60 percent of Green voters saying they fear the influx of migrants will worsen the housing market. However, far higher numbers were recorded for other parties, including 72 percent of Social Democrats (SPD) voters, 74 percent of Christian Democratic Union (CDU) voters, and 82 percent of AfD voters

Head of Russian private army Wagner says more than 20,000 of his troops died in Bakhmut battle
KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — The head of the Russian private army Wagner says his force lost more than 20,000 men in the drawn-out battle for Bakhmut, with about half of those who died in the eastern Ukrainian city being Russian convicts recruited to fight in the 15-month-old war.
The figure stood in stark contrast to the widely disputed claims from Moscow that just over 6,000 of its troops were killed throughout the war as of January. By comparison, official Soviet troop losses in the 1979-89 Afghanistan war were 15,000.
Ukraine hasn’t said how many of its soldiers have died since Russia’s full-scale invasion began in February 2022.
Analysts believe the nine-month fight for Bakhmut alone has killed tens of thousands of soldiers, among them Russian convicts who reportedly received little training before being sent to the front.

Durham isn’t testifying this week, but a congressional source told Just the News on Tuesday he’s expected to testify before Jordan’s GOP-led committee sometime in June.
Senate Republicans are pushing the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, Illinois Democrat Sen. Dick Durbin, to hold a hearing on the Durham report’s findings – which concluded the FBI had no “actual evidence” to begin investigating allegations the 2016 Trump presidential campaign colluded with Russia to win the election.

Here’s A Big Tell Democrats Believe The FBI Works For Them
One proof is that in last week’s hearing on FBI weaponization, support for the FBI was split exactly by political party.
Democrats uniformly supported the FBI in face of evidence of gross and systemic abuse of power, while Republicans uniformly criticized it.
