FBI helps Ukraine censor Twitter users and obtain their info, including journalists

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has aided a Ukrainian intelligence effort to censor social media users and obtain their personal information, leaked emails reveal.
In March 2022, an FBI Special Agent sent Twitter a list of accounts on behalf of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Ukraine’s main intelligence agency.
The accounts, the FBI wrote, “are suspected by the SBU in spreading fear and disinformation.” In an attached memo, the SBU asked Twitter to remove the accounts and hand over their user data.
The Ukrainian government’s FBI-enabled targets extend to members of the media.
The SBU list that the FBI provided to Twitter included my name and Twitter profile. In its response to the FBI, Twitter agreed to review the accounts for “inauthenticity” but raised concerns about the inclusion of me and other “American and Canadian journalists.”
The FBI’s attempt to ban Twitter accounts at the request of Ukrainian intelligence is among the most overt requests for censorship revealed to date in the Twitter Files, a cache of leaked communications from the social media giant.

Feds inform Trump he is target likely to be indicted as DOJ rebuffs prosecutorial misconduct claim

Federal prosecutors have notified Donald Trump that he is a criminal target and likely to be indicted imminently in a probe into alleged classified documents – even as the Justice Department declined to delay charges to give time to investigate allegations of witness tampering submitted by the former president’s legal team, according to multiple people on Wednesday familiar with the case.
The sources directly familiar with the case told Just the News that DOJ declined to delay the planned indictment of Trump to investigate allegations that a senior prosecutor working on the case tried to influence a key witness by discussing a federal judgeship with the witness’ lawyer.
Trump has portrayed both cases as part of a broader “witch hunt” and dual system of justice designed to derail his 2024 presidential candidacy.
This week, Trump argued Smith is a partisan and the federal case against him is being treated differently than one against President Joe Biden, who also was found with classified documents in his possession from his time as vice president.
US Air Force tweets image of soldier saluting the LGBTQI+ Pride flag

As Pride month is underway, the United States Air Force on Wednesday tweeted an image of a soldier saluting the LGBTQI+ flag.
“June is Pride Month! The Department of the Air Force proudly recognizes and celebrates generations of LGBTQI+ service members and their contributions to our Air Force & Space Force,” the tweet stated.
The tweet was accompanied by a graphic that read “Celebrate Pride Month,” featuring the Air Force logo and a saluting soldier in front of the LGBTQ flag.
The Air Force Global Strike Command responded to the tweet, writing, “Our diversity is our competitive advantage.”
“Why is the Service member SALUTING the alphabet cult flag?” asked conservative commentator Benny Johnson. “Its illegal for a uniformed service member to salute anything but the American flag.”
“This cult is actively disgracing our military and replacing the American flag like we are a conquered people. This must stop,” he added.
Youth pastor charged with filming woman showering, girls as young as 14 in bathroom: ‘So devastating’

Daniel Kellan Mayfield, 35, who served as youth pastor at Gowensville Baptist Church in Landrum since 2016, was arrested in Boiling Springs and charged last week with five counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of voyeurism, according to local WCSC.
Deputies with the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office said Mayfield admitted to recording a woman while she showered at her mother’s house on May 27, according to the outlet.
The woman and her sister reportedly found the pastor alone in the backyard after she saw a light outside the bathroom window, according to an incident report.
After looking into his phone, investigators reportedly identified at least five more victims, some of whom were allegedly filmed in the bathroom of the church, according to FOX Carolina. Mayfield is accused of setting up a camera there and filming girls as young as 14 on at least three occasions dating back as far as July 2022.
Outcast Motorcycle gang shooting: Georgia prosecutors charge 16 bikers violent in turf war

Among dozens of charges in the 45 count indictment, the Outcasts are accused of surrounding a motel where members of the Chosen Few gang had gathered on Highway 17 in Richmond Hill on June 17, 2022, 22 miles southwest of Savannah.
The Outcasts are accused of tracking and intimidating Chosen Few members for months – confronting them and warning them to stay out of their territory leading up to the shooting at a crowded motel, according to the indictment.
Leading up to the June 2022 shootout, chapter President Melaun “Do Wurk” Aiken allegedly tailed a group of eight Chosen Few members who eventually stopped at a restaurant called Flaco’s Tacos on Highway 17.
The Chosen Few members went to the nearby Red Roof Inn, where he allegedly called fellow Outcasts to encircle the building and hold up the rivals at gunpoint.
Florida high school softball star stabbed 15 times by ex-boyfriend while dining with her mother: police

Spencer Ross Pearson, 18, tracked his ex-flame, 17-year-old Madison Schemitz, to Mr. Chubby’s Wings in upscale Ponte Vedra Beach near Jacksonville.
The recent Ponte Vedra High School graduate had been stalking and harassing Schemitz since she broke up with him in April, according to an arrest warrant.
Schemitz was eating with her mother, Jackie Roge, and friend Casey Estep, when she spotted her ex seated at a nearby table.
“They were like, ‘Oh, we’ve got to go,'” Estep told First Coast News of their reaction, and the trio quietly got up to pay their check. However, Pearson pursued them outside, grabbed Schemitz “by one arm and stabbed her approximately 15 times” in broad daylight in front of the eatery, the warrant alleges.
A GoFundMe page for Schemitz has raised more than $107,000 as of Wednesday. Pearson is charged with two counts of first-degree attempted premeditated murder and one count of aggravated battery. He remains in the hospital in critical condition.
Instagram Connects Vast Pedophile Network

Instagram, the popular social-media site owned by MetaMETA -2.64%decrease; red down pointing triangle Platforms, helps connect and promote a vast network of accounts openly devoted to the commission and purchase of underage-sex content, according to investigations by The Wall Street Journal and researchers at Stanford University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Pedophiles have long used the internet, but unlike the forums and file-transfer services that cater to people who have interest in illicit content, Instagram doesn’t merely host these activities. Its algorithms promote them.
Instagram connects pedophiles and guides them to content sellers via recommendation systems that excel at linking those who share niche interests, the Journal and the academic researchers found.
Twitter is on fire: Tucker Carlson returns with launch of ‘Tucker on Twitter’

After a hiatus following his sudden departure from Fox News in April, Tucker Carlson returned with a bang on Tuesday, premiering the first episode of his new series, “Tucker on Twitter”.
In the inaugural episode, Carlson thrust into a discussion about the recent Kakhovka Dam catastrophe in Ukraine, which he dubbed an “act of terrorism.”
Carlson stated, “Blowing up the dam may be bad for Ukraine, but it hurts Russia more. And for that reason, the Ukrainian government has considered destroying it,” referencing a Washington Post report from December which outlined the Ukrainian military’s assessment of the dam’s potential destruction.
As the episode unfolded, Carlson suggested that a fair assessment of the facts would lead to the conclusion that Ukrainians likely blew up the dam. He expressed frustration at the “American media,” who he accused of hastily pinning the sabotage on the Russians.
The former Fox News anchor also criticized Sen. Lindsey Graham and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, a GOP presidential primary contender, for their unyielding support for Ukraine.

Elderly Ukrainians weep after escaping floodwaters and Russian fire

There was a steady stream of boat landings throughout the day in Kherson city in southern Ukraine as the rescue efforts were ramped up to reach those stranded by floodwaters.
The water levels rose about 11 feet in about 24 hours according to emergency services, with some areas reaching a depth of 17 feet.
It meant those who had stayed in their homes overnight awoke to find themselves stranded the day after the destruction of the enormous Nova Kakhovka dam in southern Ukraine.
There are several witnesses saying that the Russians have been continuing to attack those trying to flee the territory they control on the other side of the flooded Dnipro River.
Two boats carrying old people and family members landed in Kherson saying they’d fled Russian troops from the east bank. They went on to say the Russians had also looted their summer homes and been bombing the beaches.
NATO allies prepare unprecedented air deployment exercise over Europe in show of force to Russia

Germany is preparing to host the biggest air deployment exercise in NATO’s history, a show of force intended to impress allies and potential adversaries such as Russia, German and American officials said Wednesday.
The Air Defender 23 exercise starting next week will see 10,000 participants and 250 aircraft from 25 nations respond to a simulated attack on a NATO member country. The United States alone is sending 2,000 U.S. Air National Guard personnel and about 100 aircraft to take part in the June 12-23 training maneuvers.
“This is an exercise that would be absolutely impressive to anybody who’s watching, and we don’t make anybody watch it,” U.S. Ambassador to Germany Amy Gutmann said.

Woman pretended to be man, ‘tricked’ teen by having her take off glasses before sex: cops

In one instance, the victim reported that she attempted to remove Bilham’s Calvin Klein boxers but was rebuffed, with Bilham reasoning that she was self-conscious about fabricated scabbing scars.
“It is a case about this defendant deceiving someone that she was, in fact, a young man,” prosecutor Anna Pope said to open the trial, according to the report.
Eventually, the alleged victim became frustrated that her partner “gave excuses” and didn’t want to be touched intimately, the report said.
She also reportedly started to become suspicious when after a traffic accident, police referred to her partner as “Georgia” instead of “George,” though Bilham claimed she was using a fake driver’s license.
Elderly couple TORTURED and BURNED alive in farm attack

Both Anneke and Hennie were tortured before being tragically set on fire while still alive.
Anneke’s son, Jan-Daniël Claasen, told Netwerk24 it seemed like two or three armed men overpowered her and dragged her to a passage where they set her alight while she was still alive.
He said his mom was burned beyond recognition.
Hennie was locked in a room in a separate farmhouse before the attacker set the place alight with him inside.
Chinese ‘palm pay’ technology rollout brings CCP closer to ‘total social control’ of citizens: Gordon Chang

“Xi Jinping is creating this totalitarian state, total social control, so this certainly helps them,” Chang told Fox News Digital. “People are resisting, but nonetheless, I think the Communist Party is essentially going to force people to adopt this.”
On May 21, Tencent’s WeChat Pay rolled out a new “Palm Pay” service allowing users to make transactions by scanning the palm of their hand.
Recognition of a unique palm print triggers an automatic payment through the user’s WeChat account.
Currently, users who enroll in the palm-recognition service can pay for metro rides at station turnstiles in Beijing, but Tencent is planning to roll out the service in other settings including offices, campuses, retail outlets and restaurants across mainland China, according to South China Morning Post.
“This palm technology, biometric recognition, this just gives Beijing even more information about people in China,” Chang said. “The state is becoming more effective because it will actually force companies like Tencent to offer these biometric recognition systems and these companies will then try to get people to use them.”
“This is a regime initiative, it’s from the top down,” he added.

RFK Jr. visits southern border in Arizona, calls migrant crisis ‘unsustainable’

“This is not a good thing for our country, it’s not a good thing for these people and it is unsustainable,” Kennedy said.
The Democrat said in a cell phone video with a section of border wall behind him that he saw migrants from Peru, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, China and elsewhere.
He said Border Patrol agents in the sector have encountered migrants from 117 nations in the last few years.
“It is not anti-immigrant bigotry to demand an immigration system that keeps out criminals. In fact, letting them in stokes bigotry. As President, I will enforce a secure border, and I will expand the kind of LEGAL immigration that made our country great.”
EXCLUSIVE: Bill Barr Confirms Rep. Jamie Raskin Lied About Biden Family Corruption Investigation

Raskin would then double down on his claim that it was Barr and Brady who closed down the investigation, issuing a press release saying that in August 2020, Barr and his “hand-picked U.S. Attorney” signed off on closing an assessment into the FD-1023 form that memorialized the CHS’s claims.
But that’s just not true, according to the former attorney general.
Instead, the confidential human source’s claims detailed in the FD-1023 were sent to the Delaware U.S. attorney’s office for further investigation, according to Barr.
That, however, was just one of Raskin’s deceptions:
The ranking member of the House Oversight Committee also falsely suggested the CHS’s allegations were related to the investigation of information Rudy Giuliani had unearthed of the Biden family corruption in Ukraine.
Not so, according to an individual familiar with the investigation who told The Federalist that the CHS and the FD-1023 summary of his statement were both “unrelated to Rudy Giuliani” and “not derived” from any information Giuliani provided. This corroborates the House Oversight Committee’s representation that the June 30, 2020, FD-1023 “stands on its own” and was not part of the documents Giuliani provided the FBI in January 2020.

Conservatives blockade House floor in latest mutiny against GOP leadership

Conservatives appear to be exacting revenge on House GOP leaders by paralyzing the chamber’s legislative business in an unprecedented blockade after tanking a normally sleepy procedural vote on Tuesday.

Freedom Caucus members who met with McCarthy in his office on Tuesday evening suggested little had changed when they emerged. It’s not clear if there will be any votes on Wednesday.
‘It Is Ukraine’: Oversight Chairman Comer Reveals What The Biden Bribery Memo Says About The Biden Family’s Corrupt Dealings

After the FBI allowed House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) to view the FD-1023 form that detailed allegations of a bribery scheme between then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national, the chairman has provided his insight.
Representative Comer sat down for an interview with Just the News where he talks about the contents of that memo describing a $5 million bribery scheme that involved Biden’s son, Hunter, getting a job at an energy firm. This information was first presented to the FBI in 2017 by a source they deemed credible.
Representative Comer mentioned that ten percent of the document he managed to review at FBI headquarters was redacted. This review was still not in compliance with the congressional subpoena that FBI Director Christopher Wray received that mandated him to turn over the document into the care of the committee.
As such a motion to hold Wray in contempt of Congress has been put forward in Congress.
