California Bill Would Charge Any Parent Who Doesn’t Affirm Transgenderism With ‘Child Abuse’

A recently amended California bill would add “affirming” the sexual transition of a child to the state’s standard for parental responsibility and child welfare—making any parent who doesn’t affirm transgenderism for their child guilty of abuse under California state law.
AB 957 passed California’s State Assembly on May 3, but a co-sponsor amended it after hours in California’s State Senate on June 6.
Assembly Member Lori Wilson, D-Suisun City, wrote the bill and introduced it on Feb. 14. State Sen. Scott Weiner, D-San Francisco, co-sponsored it. Wilson’s child identifies as transgender.
Originally, AB 957 required courts to consider whether a child’s parents were “gender-affirming” in custody cases. Wiener’s amendment completely rewrites California’s standard of child care.
AB 957 post-amendment “would include a parent’s affirmation of the child’s gender identity as part of the health, safety, and welfare of the child,” altering the definition and application of the entire California Family Code.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott unveils floating wall, signs border measures into law

He calls them “water-based barrier buoys” to be strategically placed in the middle of the Rio Grande.
“This a barrier that will slow down and reduce the number of people who will be able to make it past,” said Abbott.
Department of Public Safety Commander Steve McCraw calls the countermeasure a deterrent for migrants who choose to enter the water.
“It’s very difficult to be able to go through these. It’s very difficult to come over it,” said McCraw.
Musk suggests Trump is being targeted after indictment: ‘Far higher interest in pursuing Trump’ than others

Trump is the current front-runner in the 2024 Republican presidential primary.
“There does seem to be far higher interest in pursuing Trump compared to other people in politics,” Musk tweeted Thursday night. He added, “Very important that the justice system rebut what appears to be differential enforcement or they will lose public trust.”
The former president announced his indictment Thursday night on his social media platform, Truth Social, taking the opportunity to accuse the Justice Department of hypocrisy.
“The corrupt Biden Administration has informed my attorneys that I have been Indicted, seemingly over the Boxes Hoax, even though Joe Biden has 1850 Boxes at the University of Delaware, additional Boxes in Chinatown, D.C., with even more Boxes at the University of Pennsylvania, and documents strewn all over his garage floor where he parks his Corvette, and which is ‘secured’ by only a garage door that is paper thin, and open much of the time,” Trump said on Truth Social.
It was a reference to revelations earlier this year that Biden also had multiple batches of confidential documents in his possession, the same potential crime that Trump is being indicted on.

Russia destroys first German-made Leopard 2 tank, Ukrainians facing ‘significant’ losses during offensive

Drone footage shows the first German-made Leopard 2 tank being destroyed in Ukraine, with Germany’s Bild newspaper confirming the tank is indeed the advanced main battle tank.
The footage comes at the same time that U.S. officials, while speaking with CNN, indicated that Ukraine is facing “significant” losses during its offensive.
The drone footage shows a Ukrainian column of armored vehicles that consists of German-made Leopard 2 tanks, although they are not the latest, A7 iteration, but the A4, which is three generations older.
These tanks are traveling together with U.S.-made M113 armored personnel carriers. The drone footage shows that the column came under artillery fire, with one of the Leopards catching on fire and smoking.
The footage comes after a number of reports of German Leopards being destroyed by the Russian side turned out to be fabrications; however, this footage appears authentic.

Exclusive — Marjorie Taylor Greene: FBI Holds 2 More Informant Files on Biden Business, 2 More Banks Subpoenaed

In connection with Biden’s Burisma business deal, Greene told Breitbart News the House Oversight Committee issued two subpoenas Friday to compel information about the Bidens’ Ukrainian transactions. Before Friday, the Committee subpoenaed at least four banks — Bank of America, Cathay Bank, JPMorgan Chase, and HSBC USA N.A –and one individual.
“We’re giving out subpoenas for two more banks. And this has to do with bank accounts related to Ukraine. So, we’re digging deeper into this,” she said. “We were hoping to find, you know, actual transactions that relate to this 1023 form.”
Greene described Thursday’s inspection of the 1023 form. She told Breitbart News she took notes inside the secured area but had to leave the notes inside the secured room per FBI policy.
In addition, Greene revealed the form indicated Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board, in which he received about $80,000 per month, were monthly installments of a $5 million total cut owed Hunter Biden in the deal with his father.

Hillary Clinton Gloats over Trump’s Indictment

Twice failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is gloating over President Donald Trump’s federal indictment.
Clinton took to social media to shamelessly celebrate the erosion and weaponization of America’s taxpayer-funded federal justice system.
But Hillary may have gloated too soon because a Florida jury is much different than those in New York City or Washington D.C.
As Slay News reported earlier, the judge assigned to the indictment case is a Trump appointee.
U.S. District Court Judge Aileen Cannon is a favorite of Trump’s.
Judge Cannon previously told Attorney General Merrick Garland to go pound sand in the document case when she ordered a special master to step in.
