Here’s Why Alvin Bragg’s Case Against Donald Is Collapsing

Be that as it may, Bragg’s weak case has taken some real hits on Friday, as the testimony of David Pecker, the former publisher of the National Enquirer, has been devastating for the prosecution. In fact, according to George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley, Bragg’s case is now “collapsing on its own weight.”

“They have a witness who was disassembling in front of them,” Turley told Fox News on Friday. “You know, the prosecution never revealed to the jury in the direct that Pecker actually had killed stories for other celebrities that he had been working on stories two decades before the election with Trump that he was suppressing.”

This is particularly helpful to Trump’s case because it means that the prosecution can’t directly link Trump’s efforts to quash the Stormy Daniels story to the election.

“And now it’s only getting worse,” Turley continued. “Yesterday was really bad in terms of the cross-examination for the prosecution. Today is much worse.”

Secret Service Scuffle Prompts DEI, Vetting Scrutiny

(Just got to love “DEI”. it’s work out so well everywhere it’s pushed.)

The Secret Service agent assigned to Vice President Kamala Harris was removed from her duties Wednesday after physically attacking the commanding agent in charge and other agents trying to subdue her, according to an agency spokesman and knowledgeable Secret Service sources.

But Herczeg’s bizarre behavior didn’t stop. She then began mumbling to herself, hid behind curtains, and started throwing items, including menstrual pads, at an agent, telling him that he would need them later to save another agent and telling her peers that they were “going to burn in hell and needed to listen to God,” a source told RealClearPolitics.

Herczeg then chest-bumped and shoved her superior, then tackled him and punched him. The agents involved in restraining Herczeg were especially concerned because she still had her gun in the holster. They wrestled her to the ground, took the gun from her, cuffed her, and then removed her from the terminal.

Ronald Kessler, a former investigative reporter for the Washington Post who has written several books on the Secret Service, said the agency would have traditionally viewed the dismissed discrimination lawsuit as disqualifying.

“Yes, that should have been enough to exclude her, because you really have to have a pristine record,” he told RCP Wednesday. “Certainly, this has been true in the past. There’s tremendous competition, and she never should have been hired.”

Kessler also pointed to a new initiative to increase the number of women in the Secret Service workforce. Guglielmi confirmed that the agency is one of numerous federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies that have signed onto the 30×30 initiative, an effort to increase the representation of women in all ranks of policing across the country to 30% of the workforce by 2030.

“It is critical that participating agencies focus on increasing the representation of all women,” the website adds. “They must account for the diverse experiences of all women of all backgrounds and life experiences to better promote the creation of a diverse and inclusive workplace for everyone.”

The Secret Service has an “Inclusion and Engagement Council,” which pledges to become the agency’s “game-changers” when it comes to helping the agency “build, foster, create and inspire a workforce where diversity and inclusion are not just ‘talked about’ but demonstrated by all employees through ‘Every Action, Every Day.’”

George Soros Paying Student Agitators To Whip Up Anti-Israel Protests

George Soros and his far-left movement is paying student agitators to co-opt and amplify anti-Israel protests at colleges across the country, the NY Post reports.

The protests, which began at Columbia University, have expanded nationwide – with copycat tent cities erected at colleges including Harvard, Yale, Berkeley in California, the Ohio State University and Emory in Georgia, with organized branches of the Soros-funded Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) having organized them.

The parent organization of SJP has been funded by a constellation of nonprofits which all lead to Soros.

At three colleges, the protests are being encouraged by paid radicals who are “fellows” of a Soros-funded group called the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR).

USCPR provides up to $7,800 for its community-based fellows and between $2,880 and $3,660 for its campus-based “fellows” in return for spending eight hours a week organizing “campaigns led by Palestinian organizations.”

They are trained to “rise up, to revolution.”

The radical group received at least $300,000 from Soros’ Open Society Foundations since 2017 and also took in $355,000 from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund since 2019. -NY Post

The group has three “fellows” who have helped propel the protests into a nationwide phenomenon, which you can read more about here

Texas authorities armed with ‘thousands’ of pepperballs instructed to go full force against migrants arriving by ‘The Beast’ train to El Paso border

Hundreds of migrants have started arriving daily at the border just south of El Paso via overloaded freight trains on a line nicknamed “The Beast,” after the Mexican government stopped cracking down on people hitching rides.

In response to an expected spike in illegal crossing attempts, Texas National Guard soldiers have been issued non-lethal pepperball ammo to deter would-be border crossers from attempting to sneak over in the fortified areas around points of entry, a National Guard source told The Post.

The soldiers have been armed with “thousands” of pepper balls and the source adds, “It’s on like Donkey Kong right now,” pointing out more troops are also being called in as reinforcements.

The first train arrived Wednesday in Juarez, directly south of El Paso, with hundreds of migrants offloading, according to Border Report.

Texas began arming soldiers and state troopers deployed to the border in El Paso with pepper ball guns and other tools to break up large groups after hundreds of migrants stormed the area at a crossing known as Gate 36 — a storm gate which is not a point of entry — on March 21, which was caught on camera by The Post.

Gavin Newsom Admits: California Still Faces Blackouts

(California sucks! This guy has and continues to destroy this state, like Biden is doing to the country)

AP Photo/Jeff Chiu

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) admitted Thursday that the state still faces the risk of blackouts in heat waves despite investing in battery capacity to store electricity for use in times of peak demand.

California is pushing to meet ambitious “green energy” and “zero emissions” targets, including a transition to an all-electric car and truck fleet, despite the fact that the state lacks power generating capacity to meet growing demand.

During blackouts in 2020, Newsom said that the state needed to “sober up” about the fact that renewable energy sources like solar and wind energy were not sufficient for the state’s needs — but then pressed ahead anyway.

Exclusive: Migrant Apprehensions at Border Continue Westward Move from South Texas to California

U.S. Border Patrol

The San Diego Sector took the lead in the number of migrants apprehended during the first 21 days of April. The turning point caps the westward movements of migrant border crossings from South Texas, to Arizona, and on to Southern California.

According to an unofficial Border Patrol report reviewed by Breitbart Texas, San Diego Sector Border Patrol agents encountered nearly 25,000 migrants during the first three weeks of April. This made the sector the busiest along the southwest U.S. border with Mexico.

According to the CBP Southwest Land Border Encounters report, Tucson Sector agents apprehended nearly 42,000 migrants in March. This was followed by the San Diego Sector’s apprehension of nearly 34,000 migrants and El Paso’s 30,000 migrants.

By the third week of April, first place moved to the San Diego Sector, where the apprehension of nearly 25,000 migrants surpassed El Paso’s arrest of approximately 22,000 migrants and Tucson’s arrest of just over 21,000 migrants.

From the beginning of Fiscal Year 24 in October through the first three weeks of April, Border Patrol agents encountered more than 1.1 million migrants. The Tucson Sector led this effort, arresting more than 360,000 migrants. The San Diego Sector is currently second, arresting more than 210,000 migrants.
