FDA refuses to say when America’s largest formula plant will reopen

An Abbott spokesperson told DailyMail.com Tuesday that ‘thorough investigation’ by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) revealed ‘infant formula produced at our Sturgis facility is not the likely source of infection in the reported cases and that there was not an outbreak caused by products from the facility.’

However, despite the findings of the investigation, the plant remains shuttered nearly three months later.

The nationwide share of out-of-stock baby formula hit 40 percent in April. Texas, Tennessee, Missouri, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota, seemingly hardest hit by the shortages, reported out-of-stock rates of about 50 percent.

As shelves across the country meant to carry baby formula remain largely barren, retailers including Target, CVS and Walgreens are limiting the amount of formula consumers can purchase.

Experts allege the shortage is greatly impacting patients with metabolic, gastrointestinal and allergic disorders.

‘Children, babies and adults throughout the world are suffering because of this,’ Columbia University faculty member and dietician Karen Reznik Dolins argued.

‘I’ve never seen anything like this ever in my career,” echoed dietitian Leah McGrath. ‘If babies are not getting what they’re supposed to be getting, or they’re getting less than, or there’s just the trauma of switching back and forth to different formulas, this has really long term implications in terms of their health and their growth and development, as the first 1,000 days of life are known to be the most crucial.’

Ohio judge hears if pharmacy chains should pay for driving opioid crisis

The size of the award against CVS, Walgreens and Walmart for recklessly dispensing narcotic painkillers in two Ohio counties will help decide the total payout in thousands of federal cases across the country involving drug makers, distributors and pharmacies accused of enabling a drug epidemic that has claimed more than one million lives over two decades.

The hearing began after the criminal convictions of scores of doctors who were the leading prescribers for the US’s largest manufacturer of opioids, Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals.

The Washington Post reported that 65 of the company’s 239 top pain pill prescribers in 2013, at the peak of the prescription opioid epidemic, have been imprisoned, fined or lost their medical licenses.

Mallinckrodt at one point accounted for the single largest share of the high potency opioid pill market, taking over from Purdue Pharma, which manufactured OxyContin, the drug that kickstarted the epidemic after its release in 1997.

Electric Car Fail: Over 25% of Charging Stations in Deep Blue Region Do Not Work

The study was led by retired University of California, Berkeley, bioengineering professor David Rempel working with volunteers from the nonprofit organization Cool the Earth, according to Fox Business. It took place between Feb. 12 and March 7.

Researchers cited multiple complaints from electric vehicle owners about charging stations in the area as the motivation for the study. It assessed 657 electric vehicle charging plugs at 181 public stations in nine counties around the deep-blue, Democrat-dominated San Francisco Bay Area.

Rempel and the other volunteers drove electric vehicles to the charging stations and plugged them for two minutes to test the charger’s functionality. Tesla charging stations were not evaluated in the study.

Of the 657 plugs studied, only 72.5 percent were fully functioning at the time of the assessment. Meanwhile, 22.7 percent were not functioning correctly, and another 4.9 of the charging cords were too short to reach the plug-in on the vehicle.

Woman finds box of mail-in ballots on East Hollywood sidewalk; LA County Registrar investigating

The ballots were found by Christina Repaci, who was walking her dog Saturday evening.

“I turned the corner and I just saw this box of envelopes, and it was a USPS box. I picked some envelopes up and I saw they were ballots,” said Repaci.

“I actually called the Sheriff’s Department. I couldn’t get through, so I emailed them,” she said. “I got an email back from a deputy basically in so many words saying it wasn’t their problem, and to contact the USPS.”

Repaci described the process as “stressful.”

“It was so much stress and for just one person to get back to me. What do I do here? Now if it happens to someone else, they don’t know what to do. They’ll just put them in a dumpster or throw them in the trash. I just don’t think it should have been this hard to figure out what to do with legal ballots. This is a country of freedom and our votes should matter and something like this should never happen,” said Repaci.

About five protesters, dressed in red robes and white bonnets, can be seen in video posted on Twitter trying to make their way to the altar during the cathedral’s 10 a.m. Mass on Sunday before a few parishioners hopped up out of their pews to block the protesters.

Security quickly came to escort the activists out of the church.

In the video, a man is heard telling the protesters that they will not be allowed to attack anybody.

As the protesters are being ushered out, parishioners can be heard telling them to respect their worship service.

Censorship-free web browser launches for conservatives with an emphasis on free speech

TUSK founder and Virtual World Computing CEO Jeff Bermant feels “most popular browsers and search engines are inherently left-leaning and biased” and he wanted to create a place where conservatives can see what like-minded people are saying.

“TUSK was developed with the idea of free speech, because if you go to other browsers and you go to their news feeds, you’ll find that its center left or it’s left and you weren’t getting the full story,” Bermant told Fox News Digital.

Because of liberals controlling tech, Bermant believes many conservative news organizations are buried and hard to find using traditional search engines such as Google. “There wasn’t an easy place to go,” he said.

“It’s really needed because otherwise you don’t really realize that you’re being censored,” he said. “You’re not seeing the news that you want.”

One day after Pulitzers were awarded to the usual suspects for coverage of stories driving the Left’s agenda, including the Jan. 6 Capitol riots, the Media Research Center today revealed its winners for the Bulldogs.

The Media Research Center, the Right’s watchdog on the Left’s media, said the awards were timed for the release this week of the Pulitzers. It was the first time the group gave out similar prizes. Typically, it focuses on presenting mocking awards to examples of outrageous examples of liberal media statements.

Center President Brent Bozell said of the first inductees, “Their impactful work is trusted and respected by Americans nationwide, unlike the work of the left-wing operatives that call themselves ‘journalists.’ As the liberal media celebrate themselves with Pulitzers, we wanted to shine a light on the real journalists who are greatly dedicated to informing the American public on stories the legacy media ignores.”

Democrats Aim to Spend $60B More Taxpayer Dollars During 40-Year-High Inflation

The Democrats’ plan to spend a massive amount of money after spending wildly in 2021. Last year’s spending included a $1.9 trillion coronavirus package and a $1 trillion infrastructure package, which many economists say fueled 40-year-high inflation in the same year.

“A few center-left economists, as well as Sen. Joe Manchin (D–W.Va.), sounded the alarm that an oversized new injection of spending would overheat a growing economy and cause inflation,” Reason reported. “They were ignored, if not mocked. As a result, almost everyone from the Fed chairman to monetary experts spent most of 2021 explaining away inflation without mention of the roles played by fiscal and monetary policies.”

Nearly one year later in May of 2022, Democrats are once again planning to spend massive sums of taxpayer dollars. Democrats look to splash nearly $40 billion dollars to protect Ukraine’s border from invasion, instead of the U.S. southern border. Democrats are additionally aiming to spend about $20 billion for more coronavirus funding. Punchbowl News reported on the details of the spending proposals in Congress:

President Biden on Tuesday blamed Russia’s war in Ukraine, corporate greed, the pandemic and the policies of “ultra-MAGA Republicans” for causing record-high inflation, and insisted that Democrats’ big spending didn’t spur the highest price increases in 40 years.

“It’s not because of spending,” Mr. Biden told reporters at the White House. “I think our policies help, not hurt.”

Inflation hit 8.5% in March, and the nationwide average gas price reached a new record on Tuesday of $4.37 per gallon. The president outlined numerous steps he is taking to lower prices, including releasing oil from the nation’s strategic petroleum reserve.

Durham says FBI, intelligence agencies slowing down document production in Danchenko case

In this file photo, Igor Danchenko leaves the Albert V. Bryan United States Courthouse in Alexandria, Va., Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021. Special counsel John Durham on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, blamed the FBI and other U.S. intelligence agencies for slow-walking document production in the case against Mr. Danchenko, who is accused of lying to investigators about where and how he got information for the so-called Steele dossier. Special counsel John Durham on Tuesday blamed the FBI and other U.S. intelligence agencies for slow-walking document production in the case against Igor Danchenko, who is accused of lying to investigators about where and how he got information for the so-called Steele dossier.

In a court filing, Mr. Durham asked U.S. District Judge Anthony Trenga to extend the deadline to turn over classified documents to Mr. Danchenko’s attorneys. He is seeking a one-month extension, which would push the deadline from May 13 to June 13.

Mr. Durham said the FBI and intelligence agencies have been slow to declassify some of the evidence because of “recent world events,” possibly referring to Russia’s war with Ukraine.

Why is California SURPRISED its electrical grid may FAIL?!

On Friday, Reuters reported that California officials are warning residents that the state’s electrical grid may ‘lack sufficient capacity’ during the summer, especially if something ‘extreme’ — like a forest fire — occurs (which, Glenn explains, shouldn’t really be unexpected at this point).

President Biden has been destroying America’s energy supply ever since he entered the White House, and far-left politicians in California have been doing the same to their state long before.

So, is California REALLY surprised it’s now facing electrical and energy problems…?

How the left’s DANGEROUS LIES may lead to WORLD CHAOS soon

The far left (looking at you, New York Times) completely LIED about the message Glenn gave listeners in the days before January 6th, 2021. And the left — which Glenn says has been TAKEN OVER by radical Marxists looking to destroy our country — has continued to outright LIE to the American people for the last several years about every single newsworthy topic.

Those lies are becoming more and more dangerous. Because the left’s current lies about energy could result in MASSIVE starvation around the world…which Glenn predicts could happen in places like Africa in the next two years:

‘You have no idea what’s about to hit you, guys. You have no idea.

Hawley introduces bill to strip ‘woke’ Disney of special copyright protections

The “Copyright Clause Restoration Act of 2022” would cap the length of copyrights given corporations by Congress to 56 years and retroactively implement this change on companies, including Walt Disney.

“The age of Republican handouts to Big Business is over. Thanks to special copyright protections from Congress, woke corporations like Disney have earned billions while increasingly pandering to woke activists. It’s time to take away Disney’s special privileges and open up a new era of creativity and innovation,” Hawley told Fox News Digital in an exclusive statement.

Instead of issuing copyright protections to create enough monopoly protection in order to foster innovation, companies are getting handouts from Congress for a much longer period than needed.

Several high-profile Democratic political operatives and officials are set to take the witness stand next week in the trial of former Hillary Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussmann, attorneys for both sides revealed in court Monday.

The prosecution, spearheaded by special counsel John Durham‘s probe of the FBI’s Trump-Russia collusion investigation, also will put on the stand Laura Seago, a top tech official at political research firm Fusion GPS; Deborah Fine, a Clinton campaign lawyer; and a CIA official identified only as “Kevin B.”

A slew of FBI officials are also expected to testify for the government, which alleges that Mr. Sussmann lied to FBI officials about his Clinton campaign ties when peddling the false story about Mr. Trump and Russia.

The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka is experiencing the worst economic crisis in its history – the product of overdependence on imports, poor monetary policy, outrageous government debt, and general mismanagement under the Rajapaksa family.

Sri Lankans have faced extreme shortages for much of the year of basic goods like gasoline, food, and medicine.

Hospitals have canceled the least urgent surgeries due to a lack of supplies and people have died while waiting on hours-long lines for gasoline. Daily power outrages are now routine in the country.

What is the underlying structure of pain, and what does it point at?

Is This Biden’s January 6th? | Ep. 143

What is the difference—or lack thereof—between the statutes that the angry abortion mobs outside of Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s house are violating and the statutes the January 6th protestors are being accused of violating?

The answer is shocking, and it elicits the question, where is Joe Biden and why isn’t his Administration condemning this?

Plus, while they’re pretending to care about women and children for the sake of their abortion agenda, the Left is ignoring one of the most dangerous supply chain crises for mothers right now.
