Audrey Hale Manifesto Being Reviewed for Public Release

The writings and so-called manifesto of the Nashville, Tennessee Christian school shooter, Audrey Hale, are being reviewed for release to the public, Metro Nashville Police Department officials told The Epoch Times on Thursday.

“We are in the process of going through the writings so that they can and will be released publicly,” MNPD Public Affairs Officer Kristin Mumford told The Epoch Times in a phone call. “The FBI is assisting because they have the expertise in this area, but we are the lead, and the release will come through us.”

Mumford added currently there is no timeline for this review, but that the materials left by Hale will be made available to the public.

The announcement that the writings of Hale are being reviewed for public release comes after many officials have called for its release.

On Tuesday, the chairman of the Tennessee House Republican Caucus, Rep. Jeremy Faison, joined a growing list of officials calling for the writings and manifesto to be released. He argued the release was “necessary” for lawmakers to review prior to debating gun issues in an upcoming special session focused on public safety.

Train derails near Mississippi River in Wisconsin

“BNSF Railway can confirm that a train derailed near De Soto, Wisconsin (approximately 30 miles south of La Crosse) on April 27, at approximately 12:15 pm local time,” a BNSF representative told American Military News in an email.

“Two of the three locomotives and an unknown number of cars carrying freight of all kinds are reported to be derailed on the bluff side of the Mississippi River,” the email continued. “The main track is blocked in both directions and an estimated time for reopening the track is not available. Crew members are accounted for, with one receiving medical evaluation. Local first responders are on-site. BNSF has personnel en route to the scene and the cause of the incident is under investigation.”

WASHINGTON — U.S. health officials have approved the first pill made from healthy bacteria found in human waste to fight dangerous gut infections — an easier way of performing so-called fecal transplants.

The new treatment from Seres Therapeutics provides a simpler, rigorously tested version of stool-based procedures some medical specialists have used for more than a decade to help hard-to-treat patients.

The Food and Drug Administration cleared the capsules on Wednesday for adults who face risks of repeat infections with Clostridium difficile, a bacteria that can cause severe nausea, cramping and diarrhea.

Tucker Carlson Releases Video: Hints at Fox’s Dishonesty

While never accusing Fox of spreading lies, Carlson’s video comes after Fox’s sister company, SkyNews Australia, aired a scathing news editorial attacking him personally.

The SkyNews anchor said Carlson was “sacked essentially for thinking that he was bigger than Fox News” and accused him of spreading conspiracy theories.

Some industry insiders have speculated that his Fox agreement likely prevents him from working for another media company while continuing to be paid by the network.

Consistent with industry practice, his agreement probably includes non-disparagement provisions that prevent him from criticizing Fox News in any way.

After being silent for over 48 hours after it was announced he would be parting ways with Fox News, Tucker Carlson broke his silence in a new video he posted on Twitter on Wednesday night.

In the video, Carlson made no mention of Fox News but he did take some silent jabs towards the network.

He started the video by saying it was heartening to see all of the genuine support he received from his millions of supporters.

Apparently, the FOX Corp brass is fearful that their former star host may decide to spill the beans on his former employer.

The Rolling Stone reported:

FOX NEWS EXECUTIVES have in their possession a dossier of alleged dirt on Tucker Carlson should he attack the network in the wake of his departure, eight sources at and close to the network tell Rolling Stone.

When Fox announced Carlson’s departure on Monday, the network presented the separation as amicable. But according to one former on-air Fox personality, the anchor and some of the channel’s top executives are parting ways on “the worst” and “messiest possible terms.” Indeed, in private communications released last month as part of the Dominion-Fox lawsuit, the now-fired Fox host gossiped that one such exec “hates us,” claiming she was covertly working against him and other hosts.

But if Carlson attempts to torch the network he’s leaving, Fox is prepared, the sources say…….

A local Texas church is set to host a “family friendly” drag show on May 6 that is open to children.

Faith Church in New Braunfels has received from the United Church of Christ a designation as an Open and Affirming church, which denotes their “welcome into their full life and ministry to persons of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.”

“As an open and affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ, we actively seek to express Jesus’ inclusive embrace of all people,” reads Faith Church’s website.

On its Facebook page for the event, the church affirmed that children are welcome to be in attendance.

Report: GAP to Cut 1,800 Corporate Jobs, ‘Mainly in San Francisco and New York’

The company, whose brands include Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic and Athleta, said the job cuts are expected to result in $300 million in annualized savings.

The move is part of a plan the company introduced in March, according to the report.

Upon the announcement, shares of the retail chain rose more than one percent in morning trading, according to the report.

The company already cut approximately 500 corporate jobs in September, which is said would save them $250 million annually.

Recession fears grow as US economy slows sharply in first quarter

Thursday’s estimate from the Commerce Department showed that the nation’s gross domestic product — the broadest gauge of economic output — weakened after growing 3.2% from July through September and 2.6% from October through December.

But consumer spending, which accounts for about 70% of U.S. economic activity, remained resilient, growing at a 3.7% annual pace, the fastest such rate in nearly two years. Spending on goods, in particular, was solid: It rose at its fastest pace since the second quarter of 2021.

Economists had been expecting overall GDP to grow at a 1.9% pace in the January-March quarter. Behind much of the quarter’s weakness was a sharp reduction in business inventories, which subtracted roughly 2.3 percentage points from overall growth. Companies typically slash their inventories when they anticipate a coming downturn.

She said the goal of an abortion is to kill a human being, which is not health care. Abortions do not treat or prevent diseases, and most OB-GYNs do not abort unborn babies, Wubbenhorst continued, citing research showing the number is between 7 and 24 percent.

Springer’s family said he died “peacefully” on Thursday at home in Chicago.

Votes from Noncitizens Uncovered in Maricopa County

Votes from noncitizens have been found in Arizona after it emerged that hundreds of foreign nationals have been registered to vote in Maricopa County since 2015.

The nonprofit Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) uncovered the illegal votes.

PILF warns that a legal loophole in federal Motor Voter law is allowing noncitizens to register to vote at their local motor vehicle offices.

“Motor Voter leads to problems for immigrants across America,” PILF President J. Christian Adams said in a statement.

“Signing the wrong form at the DMV can haunt you years later when your naturalization process switches to deportation.

If Tucker Carlson Is Who Media Say, He Wouldn’t Have Been A Hit

If Tucker Carlson’s Fox News program was everything that his miserable critics in the rest of the media say it was, it would have been canceled within days of its launch. Instead of having the biggest prime-time audience in cable news, he would have been doing Joy Reid numbers, and Fox executives wouldn’t have tolerated it for a week, let alone for six years.

Immediately after Fox announced Monday that it had unceremoniously kicked Carlson to the curb, leftists on every competing channel and in every prominent publication were sure to repeat ad infinitum that the host’s show was “racist,” “xenophobic,” and a place for rampant “conspiracy theories.”

That it’s a requirement to use those terms, applicable synonyms, and nothing else outside of them, is not an overstatement.

To wit, the left-wing American Prospect magazine this week ran one of the more thoughtful reflections on Carlson, describing him as, “an entertainer equally skilled at skewering comfortable pieties on the left and right” and his show as “an outlier in corporate-owned cable news” that “declined to play the gatekeeping role that many of Carlson’s detractors demand of mainstream media platforms.”

In other words, Carlson was an engaging host who shirked conformity.

That innocuous depiction was greeted by the Prospect’s fellow liberals with relentless derision and scorn.

So much so that the magazine’s executive editor was intimidated into publishing a statement apologizing for the piece and promising to “work hard to earn back whatever trust has been lost.”

Piracy in Asian waters likely to rise due to global economic uncertainty: Experts

Global crises like the Ukraine war, regional geopolitical tensions and high inflation are some factors driving people to commit piracy.

Admiral Artemio M. Abu, chairman of the Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia Information Sharing Centre (Recaap ISC), said that amid these conditions, the shipping industry needs to adopt practices such as information reporting and collaborating closely with the maritime authorities – as part of efforts to protect crew and cargo.

During a discussion at an anti-piracy conference on Thursday at Marina Bay Sands, experts also touched on likely future trends of pirate attacks and what more could be done to eliminate the problem.

The Russian ground force is “bigger today” than it was at the start of the war, according to a senior US military commander.

General Christopher Cavoli told a US committee that the Russian air force has “lost very little” – estimating 80 planes – with another 1,000 fighters and bombers left in their arsenal.

CNN reported the commander of US European Command saying the “Russian ground force has been degenerated somewhat by this conflict, although it is bigger today than it was at the beginning of the conflict”.

This is despite a US assessment made at the end of March estimating more than 220,000 Russian troops and mercenaries had been killed or injured.

Huw Pill, the chief economist for the UK’s central bank, said that people should not seek salary increases to cope with the soaring inflation, which the Bank of England predicted would be a “temporary” phenomenon in August of 2021, yet, inflation remains in double digits in Britain nearly two years later.

In a ‘let them eat cake’ moment, Pill, who reportedly earns a salary of £190,000 per year, said that rather than demanding pay increases commeserate with the rise in cost of living, the central banker said that people should just “accept that they’re worse off” condeming the “reluctance” of families to come to grips with the impacts of inflation on their way of life.

The central banker argued that if people continue to ask for pay hikes, it will have a ripple impact of increasing prices across the board.

Iran seizes ship in Gulf of Oman, US Navy says

The U.S. Navy announced Thursday that the Islamic Republic of Iran has seized a foreign vessel in the Gulf of Oman.

The Marshall Islands-flagged oil tanker Advantage Sweet was taken by Iranian forces after leaving Kuwait on its way to Houston, Texas.

“The oil tanker issued a distress call during the seizure,” the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet said. “Iran’s actions are contrary to international law and disruptive to regional security and stability.”

ABOARD BRP MALABRIGO (AP) — A Chinese coast guard ship blocked a Philippine patrol vessel steaming into a disputed shoal in the South China Sea, causing a frightening near-collision in the latest act of Beijing’s aggression in the strategic waterway.

The high seas face-off Sunday between the larger Chinese ship and the Philippine coast guard’s BRP Malapascua near Second Thomas Shoal was among the tense moments it and another Philippine vessel encountered in a weeklong sovereignty patrol in one of the world’s most hotly contested waterways.

The Philippine coast guard had invited a small group of journalists, including three from The Associated Press, to join the 1,670-kilometer (1,038-mile) patrol for the first time as part of a new Philippine strategy aimed at exposing China’s increasingly aggressive actions in the South China Sea, where an estimated $5 trillion in global trade transits each year.

US claims Sudan too dangerous to evacuate Americans while rest of the world safely removes their citizens

While the U.S. says it’s too dangerous to get its citizens out, other countries are proceeding with evacuations of their nationals including France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain, Holland, Turkey, Japan, South Korea, Jordan, South Africa, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Over the past week, as violent paramilitary groups have warred in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum, various governments have undergone dramatically different responses to try to get their citizens and embassy personnel to safety.

At least two Americans have been killed in Sudan in recent weeks.

The U.S. has come under scrutiny for using elite SEAL commandos to evacuate roughly 70 embassy staff in a helicopter mission over the weekend while telling thousands of private American citizens that no such operation would be carried out for them.

Drone Video Captures Moment JDAMs Hit Russian Positions in Bakhmut

As a Ukrainian surveillance drone watched overhead, aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force, which some are speculating were probably Mikoyan MiG-29s, dropped four 250 kg bombs in Bakhmut.

The footage was first posted on the Telegram channel Оперативний ЗСУ (Operative AFU) on April 25.

Analysis of the footage indicates that the projectiles were normal aircraft bombs fitted with Ukraine’s American-made, GPS-guided Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM).

Covid injections linked to increase in miscarriages and decline in birth rates

Compared to the flu vaccine, covid injections are associated with a significant increase in adverse events among women of reproductive age. Data revealed a 27-fold higher risk of miscarriage and a more than twofold increased risk of adverse foetal outcomes across six different categories following covid injections.

Covid injection contents are biodistributed into the bloodstream within hours and cross “all physiologic barriers including the maternal-placental-foetal barrier and the blood-brain barriers in both the mother and the foetus.”

Birth rates in multiple European countries fell significantly at the end of 2021, months after covid injections became widely utilised.

Researchers have called for the immediate suspension of covid vaccination for all persons of childbearing and reproductive age.

Sudan: “America and Russia are at it again” and WHO seeks to help its donors make money from it

Civil wars and coups that erupt in countries like Sudan are rarely superficial or entirely locally-driven events. There are almost always geopolitical interests inserting themselves into internal conflicts because of strategic routes and valuable local resources.

Under Cover DC reported that Sudan gets much of its grain from Ukraine and Russia – more than 85 per cent of its wheat comes from those two countries. Almost half the country (about 20 million people), according to the UN, is “food insecure.” Gold is a major resource in Sudan and is a “strategic route to the rest of Africa,” according to reporting from Al Jazeera.

And The Last American Vagabond reported that the RSF head, Hemedti, grew in the ranks over the years as a power militia leader and was given free rein to seize lucrative gold mines in Darfur eventually making him one of the wealthiest men in Sudan.

What is important to understand is that the portrayal of recent events, in Western media, is deliberately misrepresenting the extent to which the United Kingdom and US governments, as well as Israel, have been involved in Sudanese affairs.

So, why would WHO push vaccination and risk causing polio outbreaks you may ask? As Andrew Bridgen MP said during the parliamentary debate: “WHO is promoting the influence of private-public partnerships … Anyone can buy influence at the WHO; it will just cost them money.”

86% of WHO’s donations come from “voluntary” donations and private organisations, the largest being from Bill Gates and his affiliated organisation, GAVI. “Clearly many of the priorities do overlap, such as polio eradication and immunisation in general,” Swiss Info noted in a 2021 article.

Considering Gates is the largest private donor to WHO, polio eradication and vaccination are less of “an overlapping of priorities” and more a case of Gates’ interests being prioritised.

It would be fair to speculate that – by creating fear about a polio lab leak and then almost immediately promoting more vaccinations – WHO is seeking to ensure their private donors, in particular Bill Gates, make a lot of money off people’s misery in Sudan.

Congress Just Doled Out The Most Pork In Nearly Two Decades, Government Watchdog Says

Congress has passed more than $26 billion in earmarks during Fiscal Year 2023, the highest amount since 2006, the watchdog group Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) reported.

Members in both chambers were able to pass 7,396 earmarks into law in FY2023, according to CAGW’s pig book. That number was up from 5,138 in FY2022, when Congress spent more than $19 billion on earmarks.

Both chambers brought back pork in 2021, one decade after the parties announced a ban on the practice.

Nearly every Democrat requested at least one earmark in FY2023, according to the pig book, with only four out of the party’s 275 members not filing for one.

Fewer than half of Republicans requested earmarks, although outgoing Alabama Sen. Richard Shelby requested the highest-dollar earmarks out of any elected official.

Some congressional Republicans blasted the excessive spending at a press conference hosted by CAGW.

“I’ve found that in politics especially it’s always darkest before the dawn, and I think we’re reaching a turning point in our history where the public will demand to those Jefferson principles. Citizens Against Government Waste is one of those critical fiscal watchdogs in Washington to point the way back to fiscal spending,”

Republican California Rep. Tom McClintock said. McClintock proposed reinstating the House GOP’s earmark ban ahead of the 118th Congress, but the vote overwhelmingly failed.

“Even though Republicans promise not to use earmarks, earmarks are back again. Big spenders in both parties are once again abusing earmarks.

Montana legislature formally gives trans Democrat the boot for ‘encouraging an insurrection’

Democratic Rep. Zooey Zephyr has been booted out of the Montana legislature for the remainder of the 2023 season. While the transvestite lawmaker will be able to vote remotely, he will not be able to engage in person with those to whom he has refused to apologize.

Zephyr could have resolved the matter with an apology prior to his supporters storming the Capitol Monday, but has indicated that is outside the realm of possibility.

TheBlaze previously reported that on Monday, LGBT extremists stormed the Montana Capitol in support of Zephyr.

Biden was photographed Wednesday holding a cheat sheet bearing the name of Los Angeles Times reporter Courtney Subramanian, along with a question she presumably intended to ask. Subramanian did indeed ask Biden a question in the Wednesday press conference that was strikingly similar to the question on the cheat sheet, sparking backlash from former Trump White House press secretaries, who slammed The Los Angeles Times and the Biden White House for being “unethical.”

“No, that never happened and it’s not something I’d ever ask for or accept. It’s unethical,” former Trump press secretary Stephanie Grisham told the Daily Caller News Foundation when asked if she was ever presented with a reporter’s question in advance.
