5K Migrants Apprehended over July 4 Weekend in West Texas Border Sector

Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Jason D. Owens tweeted a video report detailing the weekend’s activities by his agents.

Over the 4th of July weekend, Del Rio Sector agent apprehended 4,946 migrants. An additional 922 migrants were classified as got-aways.

“On the 4th of July alone, we apprehended nearly 1,850 individuals,” Chief Owens reported.

“Large groups continue to be a problem for us,” the chief explained. “This past holiday weekend, we had seven large groups of a hundred people or more — to the tune of about 1,400 apprehensions.”

On Tuesday, the large groups did not stop crossing the border. Eagle Pass agents arrested a group shortly after noon on Tuesday.

REPORT: Oil That Biden Released From US Strategic Reserves Ended Up In China

Biden ordered the release of 50 million barrels of oil from Strategic Petroleum Reserve in November,  30 million barrels on March 1 and 180 million barrels on March 31, saying the “historic” actions would ease the pressure faced at pumps.

The Strategic Petroleum Reserve will continue to release one million barrels a day through October, even as the Strategic Petroleum Reserve has fallen to its lowest level since 1986, according to Reuters. U.S. crude inventories are at their lowest since 2004, according to the report.

But it turns out millions of barrels have been sent to China and other nations, according to Reuters.

Cargoes of crude oil have been shipped to the Netherlands, a Reliance refinery in India, and China, Reuters reported, citing an industry source. China and India have steadily purchased U.S. sour crude oil produced in the Gulf of Mexico, Bloomberg previously reported.

“As a result, China may now control the world’s largest stockpile of oil, with total crude inventories estimated at 950 million barrels,” the letter continued.

When It Comes to Post-Pandemic Economic Recovery, Red States Are Leading the Way

“By many measures, red states—those that lean Republican—have recovered faster economically than Democratic-leaning blue ones, with workers and employers moving from the coasts to the middle of the country and Florida,” reports Josh Mitchell at the Wall Street Journal.

Red states have added nearly 350,000 jobs since February 2020, while blue states are still down 1.3 million jobs since the beginning of the pandemic. That’s a massive difference, and it’s just the tip of the iceberg. Migration is a big reason for the recovery in red states.

Several factors play into what has made red states more attractive places to live. Lower or no state taxes are a plus, and many large and small companies have relocated to red states because of the business-friendly atmosphere in those areas.

Additionally, the advent of work-from-home culture has allowed some people to relocate while staying employed with a blue-state company.

The Sheriff’s Office of Pasco County, Florida, harasses people in their own homes using a method they call “predictive policing.”

The program has unfolded like a dystopian nightmare for the Pasco County residents it has ensnared, who have been subjected to near-constant police surveillance and harassment.

The Sheriff’s Office claims the program’s goal is to predict and prevent crime before it happens by targeting people they suspect may commit crimes in the future, dubbing the approach “intelligence-led policing.”

Using a crude computer algorithm, the Sheriff’s Office creates a list of people they think are likely to commit crimes in the future.

Florida man accused of raping woman at Disney resort, sheriff’s office says

At last call, the victim said that Gomez suggested they go outside to continue drinking out of the view of the cameras because he had his own alcohol on him. 

While the two were in a corner by a glass wall and bushes, the victim told deputies that Gomez began to make advances toward her, which she rejected. She said Gomez then pushed her against the glass wall and she hit her head, blacking out. 

The report states that security cameras captured the woman trying to crawl away from Gomez, who was then reportedly seen forcing himself on her. The victim was seen trying to push Gomez off, but could not, the report stated. Gomez is then allegedly seen taking a photo of the victim with a cellphone.

“That’s because, in the United States, the economy isn’t broadly and officially considered to be in a recession until a relatively unknown group of eight economists says so.” 

Former top FBI official openly questions efficacy of red-flag laws after Highland Park: ‘Really calls into question’

Speaking with CNN anchor John Berman, McCabe questioned the efficacy of red-flag laws because, in the case of Highland Park, such laws failed, once again, to thwart a mass killing.

“The heart of what we have been talking about a lot lately [is] these red-flag laws,” McCabe said. “So, you know, [there] has been a lot of excitement over the fact that the recent national legislation provides incentive to the states to institute red-flag laws.

“If we have yet another situation where we have a mass shooter who is putting out plenty of signals that possibly his network of associates and family knew about, but yet no word was a ever passed on to law enforcement, really calls into question how effective can these red flag laws possibly be,” he added.

Police officers from coast to coast come under attack over 4th of July weekend

As Americans celebrated the founding of the nation over the weekend, crime rang out and left police officers from coast to coast the target of various attacks.  

Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago and Baltimore were all rocked by shootings over the holiday weekend, leaving dozens dead and injured. As the dust settles from the holiday, reports show police officers in cities both large and small came under direct attack, most notably in Philadelphia, where two officers were shot and injured. 

The weekend also proved dangerous for other officers in San Francisco, where a dozen officers were injured early Tuesday morning while trying to disperse “a large crowd” when suspects threw fireworks and glass bottles at them. 

In Chicago, another unruly crowd targeted police cruisers in Portage Park by jumping on the hoods and punching windows. One Chicago officer was driving near the area when the crowd launched an object at the cruiser, breaking its windshield and sending the officer to the hospital with minor injuries. 

Army veteran kills 2 people, injured 3 officers and 1 neighbor

Edward Christian Freyman, 28, killed Collin Davis, 33, and Amber Tsai, 32, on Saturday evening, turned his gun on an elderly neighbor who called 911, and shot three police officers, authorities said.

He later killed himself about a half-mile from the original shooting scene. The older woman and police officers who were wounded are expected to survive.

Police said the gunman knew the victims but that the details of their relationship and the motive for the shooting are under investigation.

‘You left two children to die.’ Boy dies, girl badly hurt in California ATV hit-and-run crash

California Highway Patrol investigators are seeking the driver of an orange side-by-side UTV, possibly a 2021 Polaris RZR Turbo S or S4, The Daily Press reported.

The other driver briefly stopped after the crash, then shut off his vehicle’s lights and slowly drove away, KNBC reported.

A passerby found the two children beside Stoddard Wells Road near the Stoddard Valley Off-Highway Recreation Area in Apple Valley north of San Bernardino, KTLA reported.

Christina is now on life support with injuries including broken bones and a severed spinal cord, according to the station.

Father of Highland Park shooting suspect sponsored son’s firearm ownership card despite past violent threats

Robert E. Crimo III, who was charged with seven counts of murder Tuesday, applied for a FOID card in December 2019 at age 19, Illinois State Police revealed in a press release. 

“The subject was under 21 and the application was sponsored by the subject’s father,” Illinois State Police said. “Therefore, at the time of FOID application review in January of 2020, there was insufficient basis to establish a clear and present danger and deny the FOID application.”

However, the suspected shooter’s dad, Bob Crimo, 58, knew police had been called to their home twice earlier that same year because his son had threatened to kill himself and the rest of his family. 

Suspect in online child sex sting worked next to Danville high school, police say

DANVILLE — A Concord man has been arrested and charged after allegedly arranging to meet an undercover cop who posed online as a 14-year-old boy, court records show.

Phillip Moussa, 43, was charged with nine felonies after he allegedly showed up to meet the “boy” at a Danville park on June 29. Prosecutors allege Moussa arranged the meet-up and talked about specific sex acts he wanted to do, court records show.

A Contra Costa District Attorney inspector who investigated the case wrote that he started talking to Moussa, using the persona of a 14-year-old boy, after receiving a tip from the Contra Costa Sheriff that Moussa was attempting to inappropriately communicate with minors.

She then continues to explain the mechanism of developing Parkinson’s disease and how that same mechanism can occur from taking these vaccines.

“The White House has abandoned all pretense that either science or public health concerns motivate national COVID policies,” Robert F. Kennedy Jr., lead counsel and chairmen of Children’s Health Defense, told The Defender. “The American regulatory apparatus is now a naked appendage of Pfizer”s marketing department.”

Dr. David Gortler, a pharmacologist, pharmacist, FDA and healthcare policy oversight fellow, and FDA reform advocate at the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, D.C., said in an email to The Defender:

“Nobody is taking the booster shots and the White House just keeps ordering them and ordering them from Pfizer — and Pfizer ​is on track to make $50 billion off vaccines in 2022 alone and the government keeps on ordering.

“The White House has already paid $5.3 billion and has committed to an additional $5.3 billion to Pfizer for Paxlovid. Pfizer is additionally making billions every month producing a vaccine/booster that nobody wants to take because they have seen data over the past 18 months that it is not only ineffective but unsafe according to VAERS.

“Our former FDA commissioner [Dr. Scott Gottleib] is on the board of Pfizer and had until very recently been unrelentingly promoting vaccination and boosters nonstop along with Fauci, Biden, CDC [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] and the FDA. Pfizer itself has determined that Paxlovid doesn’t work and has already ceased enrollment in its EPIC-SR Paxlovid clinical trial.

“Everybody knows that viruses mutate, and promoting 2019 vaccine ‘boosters’ for a 2022 mutated, less virulent and non-deadly virus is asinine,” Gortler added. “I’m concerned that there might be some unseemly or unholy relationship going on between the FDA, Pfizer and the White House because continuing to purchase more boosters and primary series on infants and kids certainly doesn’t make any sense biologically, immunologically or pharmacologically to anyone paying attention.”

Did ‘Catastrophic’ Lab Accident’ Start COVID-19?

According to a “senior European politician,” WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus confided to him in private that he believes COVID-19 was the result of a catastrophic accident at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in Wuhan, China.

It was only after 14 nations criticized the findings as heavily compromised that Ghebreyesus relented, admitting there were flaws in the report and ordered a new investigation.

Campbell also points out that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the U.S. canceled funding for bat coronavirus research at the WIV in April 2020, so it’s clear the NIH had in fact funded such research.

What’s not clear is whether the NIH has released everything related to this research.

DARPA has publicly denied ever funding the EHA, either directly or indirectly, but internal documents obtained from a Freedom of Information Act request to the University of California at Davis suggest otherwise.

Pfizer Asks Court to Dismiss Whistleblower Lawsuit Because Government Was Aware of Fraud

A lawsuit filed by whistleblower Brook Jackson alleging Pfizer and two of its contractors manipulated data and committed other acts of fraud during Pfizer’s COVID-19 clinical trials is paused following a motion by the defendants to dismiss the case.

Pfizer previously was heavily fined in connection with the False Claims Act. As part of a 2009 settlement, the company paid $2.3 billion in fines — the largest healthcare fraud settlement in the history of the U.S. Department of Justice — stemming from allegations of illegal marketing of off-label products not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

“Pfizer, one of the most criminally fined drug companies in the world, wants to weaken the laws that hold them accountable,” Barnes told The Defender.

Nearly $2 million raised for child who lost parents in Highland Park shooting

Two-year-old Aiden McCarthy was left bloodied and alone after his parents were killed during the horrific shooting at a Fourth of July parade in Highland Park, Illinois on Monday.

“In the aftermath of the Highland Park, IL shootings on July 4, the North Shore community rallied to help a boy who we knew nothing about,” wrote Irina Colon, organizer of the fundraiser.

“We took him to safety under tragic circumstances, came together to locate his grandparents, and prayed for the safety of his family.”

“At two years old,” she continued, “Aiden is left in the unthinkable position; to grow up without his parents.”

Third judge orders Gableman not to destroy Wisconsin 2020 election records

Dane County Circuit Judge Jacob Frost issued a temporary restraining order Tuesday directing Gableman, a former state Supreme Court justice, not to destroy any records tied to his election inquiry, even if they were not part of an open records request.

Frost is overseeing a case involving another lawsuit against Gableman from watchdog American Oversight. The lawsuit was filed late last month and sought to stop Gableman from deleting records. American Oversight has filed at least four lawsuits related to its records requests over his 2020 election inquiry.

In one of those lawsuits, the group alleged that his office informed its staff that he had frequently been deleting documents he considered unrelated to his investigation. During a court hearing in another case involving American Oversight last month, Gableman admitted to that under oath.

‘Asked if the state is paying for his security, York says the office doesn’t comment on security.’ So, yes then,” Melendez added in another post, quoting Hoeven’s reporting.

In this case, the incident saw a vehicle ram Thorsen’s truck a number of times following the Qur’an burning that took place outside a mosque in Mortensrud in Oslo on Saturday afternoon. The suspect’s vehicle eventually rams Thorsen’s truck into a full turn at high speed, causing it to flip over, broadcaster NRK reports.

Five people were in the vehicle at the time of the alleged attack, with four rushed to a local emergency room. None, however, suffered serious injuries.

British father ‘cleared of raping his own daughter in Malia by DNA’

Tammi Forsythe – who waived her anonymity to MailOnline in order speak out about police failings in the case – told officers she had been attacked on an abandoned beach in the town of Malia on June 9.

Detectives examined CCTV evidence from a bar where the 33-year-old had been drinking with father Philip, 62, the same night, then sensationally arrested him and accused him of carrying out the attack.

But DNA samples taken from Tammi as evidence do not match samples supplied by Mr Forsythe, according to Greek news site Protothema.

Tammi and her father had maintained throughout the investigation that he could not have attacked her, and have slammed police over their handling of the case.

It is just the latest high-profile rape case involving a Briton to be bungled by Greek cops, after a woman who accused a group of men of gang-raping her in Cyprus in 2019 was herself arrested and prosecuted for wasting police time.
