Report: Biden administration and Big Tech adapting military-grade AI to silence Americans worried about vaccine side effects

Technologies previously used against America’s enemies are now being wielded against its citizens.
A new report from Just the News indicates that the Biden administration, in concert with Big Tech, academia, and big corporations, is pouring taxpayer money into an AI censorship program that allegedly utilizes systems once called upon to wage information warfare against the Islamic State.
According to one free speech watchdog, “Under the Biden Admin, the [National Science Foundation] is funding the idea that if citizen trust in government cannot be earned organically, then it must be installed by science.”
In late 2022, the Intercept detailed efforts by the Department of Homeland Security to broaden its efforts to clamp down on free speech and shape online discourse, far in excess of the promises of the aborted “Disinformation Governance Board.”

Move Over, Jayson Blair: Meet Hamilton 68, the New King of Media Fraud

Ambitious media frauds Stephen Glass and Jayson Blair crippled the reputations of the New Republic and New York Times, respectively, by slipping years of invented news stories into their pages. Thanks to the Twitter Files, we can welcome a new member to their infamous club: Hamilton 68.
If one goes by volume alone, this oft-cited neoliberal think-tank that spawned hundreds of fraudulent headlines and TV news segments may go down as the single greatest case of media fabulism in American history.
Virtually every major news organization in America is implicated, including NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times and the Washington Post. Mother Jones alone did at least 14 stories pegged to the group’s “research.” Even fact-checking sites like Politifact and Snopes cited Hamilton 68 as sources.
8-Foot-Tall ‘Demon-Looking’ Ruth Bader Ginsburg Tribute In NYC Perplexes Viewers As Much As MLK Statue

It is a rough era for commemorative statues, as just weeks after Boston unveiled a confusing “tribute” to Martin Luther King called The Embrace, New York City has followed up with an 8-foot-tall “tribute” to the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg that many commenters feel resembles a “literal demon.”
The piece stands outside a New York City courthouse and was done by artist Shahzia Sikander, who said the statue is not meant to resemble Ginsburg but is meant to represent “a fierce woman and a form of resistance in a space that has historically been dominated by patriarchal representation.”
This metaphor was evidently lost on most viewers who instead saw the statue’s tentacle arms, horn-shaped braids, and lotus flower base and believed it looked more like a “satanic golden medusa demon,” as it was put by NYC councilwoman Vickie Paladino.

Earlier this month, video from inside a Florida delivery truck captured a driver being robbed at gunpoint by two criminals who share a total of 85 felony charges and 11 felony convictions between them, Fox News Digital reported.
In the video, one of the criminals is seen ambushing the delivery driver and pressing a gun to the worker’s neck. The perpetrator grabs the victim’s cell phone from his hand and appears to place it on the passenger’s seat.
The criminal also steals the driver’s wallet before heading to the back of the vehicle, where he grabs multiple packages. The other crook is seen briefly on the video outside of the truck. The two men fled the scene of the crime in a white van.

WATCH: Robot Liquefies Then Re-Forms In Scientific Breakthrough

In a recent breakthrough, scientists have created a robot that can transition back and forth between solid and liquid states, allowing it to navigate through numerous obstacles and environments.
Researchers applied the technology in a few different scenarios.
The robot was able to navigate obstacle courses and deliver and retrieve objects to and from a model human stomach.
They even constructed a version of the robot that looks like a Lego Minifigure that was able to escape a cage by liquefying and then restoring itself to its original form once out.

Glenn Breaks Down Bodycam Footage from Paul Pelosi Attack | Friday Exclusive | Ep 248
The bodycam footage of the attack on Paul Pelosi was finally released — over two months after the altercation occurred. But first, on today’s Friday Exclusive, Glenn flashes back to the original, now-deleted, NBC News report that left us with more questions than answers.
Then, he breaks down the recently released bodycam footage that some of America’s most powerful seemingly tried to keep from going public.
Finally, Glenn asks, “Why was this footage not immediately released when it could have cleared up all the confusion and controversies?”
The lack of credibility and trust throughout society is getting out of control, and the delayed release of this footage may make it all worse.

‘Functionally Illiterate’ Officers Recruited by London’s Met Police to Increase Diversity

“We completely support the idea that London – which will likely be a minority white city in the next decade or so – should not be policed by an overwhelmingly white police force,” Parr told The Telegraph.
“That is clearly wrong. It is not just wrong from a legitimacy point of view, and from an appearances point of view, it is also operationally wrong because it means that the Met does not get insight into some of the communities it polices and that has caused problems in the past,” he continued.
Yet, the HMI said that there is a “risk of recruiting the wrong people,” saying that he has heard of trainee officers “who are, on paper at least, functionally illiterate in English”. Par noted that this has already had a trickle-down impact on the force’s ability to function, saying that “just writing up crime reports has become quite difficult in some areas.”
Iranians Use End Of 40-Day Mourning Period To Protest Against Government

Iranians continue to gather at the graves of those who have been killed by security forces in ongoing nationwide protests that have rocked the country since the death of a woman in police custody, calling for regime change despite a brutal crackdown on dissent by the authorities.
Since Mahsa Amini’s death, Iranians have flooded into the streets across the country to protest against a lack of rights, with women and schoolgirls making unprecedented shows of support in the biggest threat to the Islamic government since the 1979 revolution.
In response, the authorities have launched a brutal crackdown on dissent, detaining thousands and handing down stiff sentences, including the death penalty, to protesters.
France, Iraq sign treaty to up cooperation in security, renewable energy

French President Emmanuel Macron and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani on Thursday signed a set of strategic agreements in Paris meant to boost Iraq’s economic cooperation with France, particularly in energy and public transportation.
The two leaders signed a treaty seeking to strengthen bilateral relations in anti-corruption, security, renewable energy, and culture, the Elysee Palace said in a statement on Friday.
“(Macron and Shia al-Sudani) have reaffirmed their commitment to complete big network infrastructures projects based on French know-how,” Elysee continued. “In that respect, they have pledged to grant Iraq the expertise of French companies.”
“In terms of alternative energies, they showed their commitment to the implementation of… solar energy and investments in gas,” it added.
Israel: 7 murdered in east Jerusalem terror attack, assailant ‘neutralized’

A terror attack on Friday left seven people dead and three wounded in the ultra-Orthodox neighborhood Neve Ya’akov in east Jerusalem before the shooter was “neutralized” and another assailant fled.
Reports indicated that the assailants arrived at the ultra-Orthodox settlement in a car and stopped near a synagogue.
They entered the Jewish place of prayer with an automatic weapon and opened fire “for several minutes.” A chase was immediately underway for the driver who escaped.
The terrorist was neutralized by a police officer and a volunteer of the Israel Police, they prevented a larger attack and neutralized the terrorist.”
The shooter was identified as Alqam Kheiri, a 21-year-old resident of east Jerusalem.

Tensions wane as Palestinians protest after Israeli raid, rocket exchange with Gaza

Palestinians protested in anger on Friday as they buried the last of 10 killed by Israeli forces the day prior, even as the likelihood of a major flare-up appeared to ebb despite overnight rockets.
Thursday’s raid in the flashpoint Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank led to a gun battle that killed at least nine Palestinians, while clashes elsewhere left another dead.
Gaza militants then fired rockets and Israel responded with airstrikes of its own – but the exchange was limited.
On Friday, scuffles between Israeli forces and Palestinian demonstrators erupted after the funeral for a 22-year-old Palestinian north of Jerusalem and elsewhere in the West Bank, but calm prevailed in Israel’s contested capital and in the Gaza Strip.

Schiff hit with ethics complaint one day into Senate campaign for using Trump impeachment video

An ethics watchdog group on Friday asked the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE) to investigate Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., for using footage from the Senate floor in an ad announcing his run for the Senate.
The Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT) sent a complaint to the OCE’s chief counsel that asked for an immediate probe into whether Schiff “abused official resources for political purposes” by using the video.
Schiff announced Thursday that he’s running for the Senate in 2024, via a video that was shared on his Twitter account.
That video includes footage of Schiff speaking on the Senate floor during impeachment proceedings against former President Donald Trump.
House Passes Amendment to Prevent Presidents From Exploiting America’s Oil and Selling it to China

On Jan. 27 the Republican led House of Representatives passed an amendment to bill H.R. 21, tabled by Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene, intended to prevent the Biden administration, and any other future presidential administration, from exploiting America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) for political gain and to prevent American oil from being sold to China.
Bill H.R. 21 is intended to limit “the drawdown of petroleum in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve until the Department of Energy develops a plan to increase the percentage of federal lands leased for oil and gas production.”
Greene, celebrating the win, took to Twitter tweeting, “Just now, the House passed my amendment to HR 21 to stop Joe Biden from selling our oil to China to score political points. He will no longer be able to trick and deceive the American people by doing business with our enemies.”

From 2019-21, 3,700+ stock trades by Members of Congress posed potential conflicts of interest. It’s why I introduced a bill to ban any stock trading in Congress.

Democrat introduces bill to mandate armed security in every gas station, bank, grocery store, pawn shop in Chicago

Illinois state Rep. Thaddeus Jones (D) introduced the Armed Security Protection Act last week. If passed, the bill requires banks, gas stations, grocery stores, and pawn shops in Chicago to have armed security or armed employees.
“Guards required in municipalities having in excess of 2,000,000 inhabitants. Beginning July 1, 2024, a bank, gas station, grocery store, and pawn shop shall employ and have on its premises at least one guard during the hours it is conducting business with the public,” the bill reads.
The legislation does not specify that it only applies to Chicago. But that is effectively what it does because the Windy City is the only municipality in Illinois to have more than 2 million residents. The state’s second-largest city, Aurora, has fewer than 200,000 residents, according to the latest census.
