Mother of missing toddler Quinton Simon is arrested and charged with his murder

Leilani Simon, 22, was arrested and charged on Monday, Chatham County Police Department said in a statement. Police said they do not anticipate making any other arrests.

Simon reported 20-month-old Quinton missing from their Savannah, Georgia home on October 5. His body has not been found, but police have ruled that he was murdered.

According to police, Leilani’s boyfriend, Danny Youngkin, was the last one to see him around 6am on the day he vanished – but it wasn’t until after 9am that his mother reported him missing.

Police suspect Quinton’s body was placed in a dumpster and investigators had searched for his body in a nearby landfill.

Two weeks after Quinton’s disappearance, Leilani and her mother were seen in a bar downing shots as police searched a landfill for the boy’s body.

Report: California to Ban Older Diesel Trucks at Ports by 2025; Electric Truck Mandate by 2035

Despite a supply-chain crisis that resulted in record backlogs at Los Angeles and Long Beach ports last year — partly contributing to New York overtaking them — the California Air Resources Board (CARB) is pressing on.

The Wall Street Journal reports the state will impose an electric truck mandate, despite the lack of charging infrastructure and the space to build it, to create a market for electric trucks en route to a broader transition:

The California Air Resources Board is proposing phasing out older big rigs operating in the busy corridors shuttling shipping containers between ports, rail yards and warehouses and require that all new vehicles be powered by clean fuels starting in 2024. From 2025, the state would bar trucks powered by internal combustion engines that have more than 800,000 miles on them from operating at ports and rail yards.

The goal is to push more than 30,000 heavily-polluting trucks to clean energy by 2035. Trucking industry officials say there is a big gap between the target and the charging infrastructure that barely exists today and would take years to build.

“Nobody is saying we don’t want to move to advanced technology,” said Matt Schrap, chief executive of the Harbor Trucking Association, an advocacy group that represents thousands of the state’s port truckers. Truckers can’t meet the deadline, he said, “because there’s no charging.”

Republican State Treasurers Plot Anti-ESG Strategy

Derek Kreifels, CEO of State Financial Officers Foundation (SFOF), speaks at a press conference November 14, 2022.
Derek Kreifels, CEO of State Financial Officers Foundation (SFOF), speaks at a press conference November 14, 2022.

This all comes as state treasurers like Murante and the rest of the SFOF, who are in charge of their state’s investment and 401k, pension, or retirement funds, are standing up to demand full financial analysis of any investment product to figure out where money is being invested.

Members of the SFOF also demand full disclosure of the fee structures that an investment adviser gets from an ESG investment versus a non-ESG investment, in addition to a comprehensive report detailing the metrics used by their advisers to determine if an investment meets ESG standards.

Additionally, Missouri Treasurer Scott Fitzpatrick explained to Breitbart News that the easiest way to explain what ESG is to his constituents is that it comes down to their money — either from their taxes or retirement — that “is being used by the people who are managing it on your behalf to advance social and political causes that you would not agree with … that also, by the way, are not in your financial interests — that are costing you money.”

Biden’s Pentagon adopts anti-white, ‘anti-racist’ initiatives for military: report

A new report on the US military from GOP leaders Senator Marco Rubio from Florida and Representative Chip Roy from Texas shows that under the Biden administration the country’s armed forces have embraced critical race theory to the extent of promoting “anti-white views” as part of a broader commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Fox News reports that, according to the report, “Our military’s singular purpose is to ‘provide for the common defense’ of our nation. It cannot be turned into a left-wing social experiment. It cannot be used as a cudgel against America itself. And it cannot be paralyzed by fear of offending the sensibilities of Ivy League faculty lounges or progressive pundits.”

The report confirms that the US military has adopted anti-racism as a teaching tool. Anti-racism, like Critical Race Theory, is a form of racial essentialism that defines individuals by their racial and ethnic identity groups and then assigns them a place within structures and hierarchies of power.

One distinguishing characteristic between the two philosophies is anti-racism, as articulated by Ibrim X. Kendi openly promotes the oppression of white Americans. Kendi wrote, “the only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination.”

The Truth Behind “Gender Affirming” Procedures

It’s no accident the number of transgender youth doubled in the last 5 years, and children mastectomies are up 389%. It’s a direct result of the radical ‘woke’ agenda being pushed on our kids by so-called “healthcare professionals,” MSM/social media, and even Biden directly.

CBS FINALLY admits Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop IS REAL

CBS has finally admitted Hunter Biden‘s laptop is real – 20 months after DailyMail.com authenticated its contents with top experts.

When files from the laptop were published before the 2020 presidential election, 60 Minutes host Lesley Stahl insisted in an interview with Donald Trump that the contents couldn’t be verified.

The network was among a wide range of left-leaning outlets such as the New York Times and MSNBC who doubted the authenticity as the Biden administration insisted it was Russian disinformation.

But on Monday, two weeks after the midterms, CBS This Morning changed their tune.

The network ran a segment with with former Secret Service member and computer forensics expert Mark Lanterman saying he and his son Sean had independently verified the laptop and said there was no evidence of external tampering.

Union rejects proposed labor contract with freight railroads, potential strike in coming weeks

Two of the 12 unions involved voted Monday.

The other union, the nation’s second-largest rail union, which represents engineers, ratified its own contract, according to CNN. But the deal alone will not avert a strike, which could begin as soon as Dec. 5, raising concerns about further disruptions of the U.S. supply chain and exacerbating already high inflation.

Congressional lawmakers would have to move quickly to avert a strike, considering they won’t return from Thanksgiving recess until at least Nov. 28.

The work stoppage would impact coal shipments, passenger rail service and cost the U.S. economy billions of dollars per day, according to Politico.

“We had to go to our customers and we had to say, ‘Look, this is a unique environment.’ Fuel is through the roof now, so we had to go to our customers and put a fuel surcharge in place” Wright said.

And drivers like Shelton say this fuel surcharge saved his finances.

“Without a fuel surcharge, none of us would have been able to operate” Shelton said.

According to AAA, one year ago a gallon of diesel fuel was $3.65, on average. Now, it is up to $5.33. Shelton says the high prices coupled with a trucker shortage are hurting the whole industry.

If diesel prices continue to rise and companies cannot get more drivers on the road, that would ultimately result in higher prices at stores, Shelton said.

Video Shows Struggle Before Deputy Shoots Derrick Kittling After a Traffic Stop

The preliminary investigation revealed that at approximately 1:30 pm afternoon, a RPSO Deputy conducted a traffic stop on 7th Street near Broadway Avenue in Alexandria.

During the course of the traffic stop, a physical confrontation occurred between the Deputy and Kittling during which Kittling gained control of the Deputy’s Taser. As the physical struggle ensued, the Deputy discharged his duty weapon striking Kittling. Kittling was transported to a local hospital for treatment, but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

Kittling’s brother is a high-ranking official in Louisiana State Police Department (Lt. Smith did not appear Friday for Garland’s news conference appointing him as special prosecutor, but announced he was resigning immediately from his job at The Hague. In a statement, he vowed to pursue the Trump investigation fairly but aggressively.

These complaints go beyond pure speculation, but include first-hand witness accounts that raise concerns regarding Maricopa’s lawful compliance with Arizona election law.

Nancy Pelosi blames ‘MAGA Republicans’ for Colorado nightclub shooting

A 22-year-old opened fire at Club Q in Colorado Springs killing 5 and injuring 18

Pelosi who announced last week that she is stepping down from Democratic leadership in the next Congress said in a statement,

“As our nation marks Transgender Day of Remembrance, the House Democratic Caucus mourns the countless Americans stolen away by the scourge of transphobic violence, a crisis that continues to disproportionately harm trans people of color.  Today, and every day, let us offer comfort to grieving loved ones, honor the memory of those killed and continue fighting to save lives from the wicked forces of hate.”

Pelosi continued, “That fight remains more urgent than ever, as right-wing extremists target transgender Americans’ most fundamental rights and freedoms.”

Despite no motive being named for the attack, Pelosi added, “Whether spouting dangerous rhetoric from cable news desks or openly bullying schoolchildren from the halls of power, MAGA Republicans are cruelly undermining the safety and well-being of our transgender community.”

China: More Deaths by ‘Zero-Covid’ than Coronavirus in 6 Months

Kevin Frayer/Getty Images

Since the weekend, Beijing authorities have confirmed two other deaths: a 91-year-old woman and an 88-year-old man.

Despite not having documented a single death as a result of complications from the virus since May 26, the Chinese government has insisted on imposing brutal, in some cases city-wide, lockdowns on its citizens, banning them from leaving their homes and often leaving them without food or necessary medical care.

The lockdowns are part of a policy China refers to as “zero-Covid,” which also includes mass internment at quarantine camps, family separations to allegedly protect those who test negative, and rolling, mandatory coronavirus tests.

Chinese government officials have admitted to more deaths as a result of “zero-Covid” in the past six months than they have as a result of coronavirus infection.

Qatar signs 27-year gas deal with China

Saad al-Kaabi, the head of QatarEnergy, told news outlets Monday morning that the company signed one of the longest agreements in the history of liquefied natural gas deals with the Chinese state-owned firm.

Qatar shares the North Field, a part of the biggest gas field in the world, with its northern neighbor, Iran.

Previously, the company signed a deal to construct six additional LNG trains in North Field East that will help increase Qatar’s liquefaction capacity to 126 million tons in five years. Moreover, QatarEnergy has signed other deals with partners for North Field South for additional expansion.

Al-Kaabi said the firm had ongoing negotiations with others buyers in China and Europe that want to have equity in future expansion projects.

Mourners chanted anti-establishment slogans at the funerals of two protesters killed in Javanroud

At least 30 anti-government protesters have been killed by security forces in Kurdish-populated cities in west Iran in the past week, a rights group says.

Hengaw reported that seven had died since Sunday in Javanroud alone, amid an intense crackdown by Revolutionary Guards armed with heavy weapons.

On Monday, the funerals of two protesters turned into a mass rally.

In one video, a protester can be heard saying the Revolutionary Guards are firing machine guns at people’s heads.

The footage, which has been verified by BBC Persian, also appears to show people covered in blood lying on a street and someone shouting that a girl has been shot in the head. Automatic gunfire can also be heard.

Energy Crisis: German Minister President Suggests Heating One Room in Winter Is Enough

Some weeks ago we reported on how the Minister President from Baden-Württemberg, Winfried Kretschmann, suggested that people stop taking hot showers and instead use a washcloth with a sink with some lukewarm water for bathing. This would help to curb a gas supply crisis later this winter.

Mr. Kretschmann is back in the news again with a new idea, one that he says he himself practices: Allegedly, he heats just one room in the house, the living room, and expects others to follow his lead.

This means citizens are now expected to bathe themselves with a washcloth, turn off the lights and to sleep, eat and do their home office work in frosty rooms.

The message in Germany is clear: politicians have no intentions of re-establishing a steady energy supply that would return its citizens to normal comfort. Instead citizens are being asked to return to the 19th century.

But there are of course problems with going back to the stone ages. Not only is cold dangerous to people, but not heating the rooms in your home poses another health hazard: toxic black mold. According to the online Karlsruher Insider:
