Hollywood fears wokeness will kill it: PETER KIEFER & PETER SAVODNIK

‘Everyone has gone so underground with their true feelings about things,’ said Mike White, the writer and director behind the hit HBO comedy-drama ‘The White Lotus.’
‘If you voice things in a certain way it can really have negative repercussions for you, and people can presume that you could be racist, or you could be seen as misogynist.’
Another writer, who, like most of the writers we interviewed, was afraid to speak openly for fear of never working again, said: ‘I get so paranoid about even phone calls.
It’s so scary. My close friends and my family are just like, ‘Don’t say anything.’ It is one of those things, ‘Will I be able to sleep at night if I say anything?’ Getting jobs in this town is so hard, and I’m very grateful to have a great job. If there’s any so-called ding on my record, that would just be an argument against hiring me.’
One showrunner, afraid to send his emails to us out of fear of them accidentally winding up on the wrong screen, agreed to show us correspondence with agents, writers, and studio chiefs that capture the new thinking at the highest levels of the Hollywood food chain.
Judge releases violent criminal, 18, for funeral who then goes MISSING

The Minneapolis judge who presided over killer cop Kim Potter’s trial showed mercy to an 18-year-old with ‘a lengthy juvenile delinquency history involving assault and weapons offenses’ by freeing him to attend a funeral – only for the teen to go on the lam.
Police are now on the hunt for Shevirio Kavirion Childs-Young after Judge Regina Chu administered a warrant for the fugitive’s arrest for ‘failing to return to Hennepin County Jail after temporary release,’ court filings from the state of Minnesota show.
Chu’s decision to free Childs-Young came after the judge refused Potter’s plea to spend one last Christmas with her family before being sentenced following her conviction last month for killing Daunte Wright.
Supreme Court hears cases on prolonged detention of illegal immigrants

The court heard two related cases where immigrants arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) were challenging the government’s right to hold them for long periods of time (longer than six months) without a bond hearing if there was no likelihood of deportation in the foreseeable future.
The court had ruled in 2001 that immigrants could not be held longer than six months if the immigrant’s deportation was not foreseeable. But in the cases before the court, the government claimed that the deportations were foreseeable – and therefore they were not limited by the 2001 ruling and could go beyond that timeframe without a bond hearing.
However, the liberal justices on the court were skeptical of that claim, considering that the government appeared unable to give specifics on when they would be removed. In the first case,Johnson v. Arteaga-Martinez, a Mexican citizen with multiple deportations had claimed a fear of persecution if returned.
Home Depot employee shot in North Las Vegas store; police seek suspects

Arriving officers found a man suffering an apparent gunshot wound. The man was taken to University Medical Center, Cuevas said.
Police said two suspects entered the store and got into an altercation with an employee. During the altercation, the employee was shot once, Cuevas said.
The victim was a member of the store’s loss prevention team, according to his fiancé. Melissa Basso said she got word of what happened when the store manager called her.
“He was pepper sprayed and then shot in the side. The bullet just missed his spine, but didn’t his any organs,” she said.
100 Chicago-area murder suspects on home monitoring along with many other violent suspects: Sheriff

About 100 people charged with murder in Cook County, Illinois, are on home monitoring, not behind bars, according to the sheriff.
“Seventy-five to 80 percent of my people on home monitoring are charged with a violent offense,” Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart said Monday, CBS Chicago reported. “I have about 100 people on home monitoring who are charged with murder.”
Chicago has been rocked by crimes over recent months.
The city recorded 797 homicides last year, 25 more than 2020 and the highest number recorded since 1996. There were 3,561 shooting incidents in 2021, 300 more than 2020 and 1,415 more than 2019.
Pentagon Whistleblower Exposes Covid Conspiracy

Project Veritas has broken a major story about foreknowledge by U.S. players about dangerous Covid experimentation — so dangerous that the Pentagon rejected involvement because the experimenters didn’t acknowledge they were engaged in Gain of Function research.
Read the documents for yourself here, especially the report by Major Joseph Murphy on his discovery of the heretofore secret data.
Then watch the discussion by Dr. Robert Malone and author Naomi Wolf with host Steve Bannon about the importance of the documents. Dr. Malone says it is bigger than the Pentagon Papers because of the scope of the devastation caused by Covid-19.
FBI Refuses To Say How Many Informants Were Involved In Jan. 6 Violence

“Did any FBI agents or confidential informants actively participate in the events of Jan. 6, yes or no?” Cruz pressed.
“I can’t answer that,” Sanborn said, despite The New York Times revealing in September the presence of federal agents within the crowd that stormed the Capitol. Earlier this month, Newsweek revealed in a blockbuster story the presence of secret commandos with “shoot-to-kill” authority.
Cruz went on to ask the agency executive about Ray Epps, a suspect captured on tape encouraging people to enter the Capitol who disappeared without explanation from the FBI’s Capitol Violence Most Wanted List last summer, according to an October report from Revolver.
Moments later, Arkansas Republican Sen. Tom Cotton pressed Assistant Attorney General for National Security Matthew Olsen about Epps’s mysterious disappearance.
Olsen referred Cotton to Sanborn after she repeatedly refused to offer details on the same case.
In the same hearing, Utah Republican Sen. Mike Lee asked the panel about the agency’s double-standard treatment of left-wing rioters in 2020 versus the Jan. 6 defendants who are being held as political prisoners in solitary confinement.
Red Cross Warns of National Blood Crisis

The organization, which gives 40 percent of the nation’s blood supply, said its “worst blood shortage in over a decade” is “posing a concerning risk to patient care” and that doctors have been “forced to make difficult decisions about who receives blood transfusions and who will need to wait until more products become available.”
“Blood and platelet donations are critically needed to help prevent further delays in vital medical treatments,” the statement continued.
The factors contributing to the crisis include a 10 percent decline in overall donation turnout since March 2020; a 62 percent drop in college and high school blood drives due to the pandemic; ongoing blood drive cancellations because of illness, staffing limitations and inclement weather; and a spike in COVID-19 and flu cases that “may compound the already bad situation,” Fox News reports.
Philadelphia license-to-carry health care worker shoots armed assailant during carjacking, police say

The 32-year-old victim was sitting in his Honda Accord when an 18-year-old Black male came up to the driver side door and pointed a gun at him, police said. The victim then drew his own gun and fired five shots at the suspect, striking him in the cheek, neck and right thumb.
It was the second time in a week that a victim with a license to carry a firearm fought back against would-be carjackers in Philadelphia. On Jan. 3, a Lyft driver shot two men multiple times while they stole his car. Both suspects were later arrested.
The incident was one of three carjackings that occurred overnight Monday, WPVI-TV reported. In one incident, four suspects shot a victim in the foot but left without taking the car. In the other, three suspects stole a car and crashed it into three parked vehicles while leaving the scene.
Justice Dept. creating unit focused on domestic terrorism

The Justice Department is establishing a specialized unit focused on domestic terrorism, the department’s top national security official told lawmakers Tuesday as he described an “elevated” threat from violent extremists in the United States.
“We have seen a growing threat from those who are motivated by racial animus, as well as those who ascribe to extremist anti-government and anti-authority ideologies,” Olsen said.
The department’s National Security Division, which Olsen leads, has a counterterrorism section. But Olsen told the Senate Judiciary Committee that he has decided to create a specialized domestic terrorism unit “to augment our existing approach” and to “ensure that these cases are properly handled and effectively coordinated” across the country.
Several Republican senators, for instance, suggested Tuesday that the FBI and the Justice Department had given more attention to the Jan. 6 insurrection than to the 2020 rioting that erupted in American cities and grew out of racial justice protests.
Man who threatened to ‘acquire weapons’ to ‘take down’ Trump arrested by Secret Service

The complaint stated that Thomas Welnicki, 72, from Rockaway Beach, New York, “willfully threatened to kill, kidnap, and inflict bodily harm” upon former President Trump. Welnicki made the threats in 2020 and continued up until last month.
During a voluntary interview with Capitol Police in July 2020, Welnicki vowed to “acquire weapons” and “take [Trump] down” if the former president refused to step down after losing the 2020 election against then-presidential candidate Joe Biden.
Welnicki went on to brag about “how easy it was for him to acquire a firearm” and said that while he didn’t “want to hurt anyone” he would “stand up to fascism.”
Muslim lawmaker pushes ‘Islamophobia’ narrative, claims hijab pulled off student’s head — despite police noting false statements, no hate crime

Virginia Democratic Del. Ibraheem Samirah — a Muslim who made headlines in 2019 for protesting at President Donald Trump’s address in Jamestown — is in the news again.
Samirah sent a letter Monday to the Fairfax County School Board, opening the missive in this way: “Recently a Muslim student from Fairfax High School named Ms. Ekran Mohamed was viciously bullied by two other students who pulled her hijab off of her head.
This horrific event … demonstrates that we need to take immediate action to prevent anti-Muslim bigotry and Islamophobia in our school systems.”
Problem is, police came to quite a different conclusion about last month’s incident:

Your Tax Dollars at Work: Newsom’s Sick $110 Million Plan to Supercharge the Immigration Crisis

However, a hefty $110 million of the proposed funds would be used to “increase public health and humanitarian efforts at the California-Mexico border to keep migrants safe, including vaccinations, testing and isolation and quarantine services,” along with expanding contract tracing, the governor announced Saturday in a news release.
By promising testing, vaccines and quarantine housing to the armies of unvetted migrants flooding the nation’s southern border, Newsom is encouraging more mass illegal immigration.
Keep in mind that even U.S. citizens are not guaranteed easy access to COVID tests and vaccines, thanks to President Joe Biden’s botched handling of the pandemic.
Ikea cuts sick pay for unvaccinated staff forced to self-isolate

The retail giant acknowledged it was an “emotive topic” but said its policy had to evolve with changing circumstances.
From this week, sick pay cuts will be implemented at Wessex Water and in the US several major companies have started penalising unjabbed workers.
It comes as firms struggle with mass staff absences and rising costs.
At Ikea unvaccinated workers, who do not have mitigating circumstances, who test positive will be paid in line with company sick pay.
Unvaccinated workers, without mitigating circumstances and required to isolate owing to being identified as a close contact, could now receive as little as £96.35 a week – the Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) minimum.
Twitter Suspends Project Veritas Social Media/Comms Director Eric Spracklen Less Than 24 Hours After Releasing DARPA Info Proving Dr. Fauci LIED Under Oath to Congress

Twitter has suspended the social media account of Project Veritas Social Media and Comms Director Eric Spracklen less than 24 hours after the group released military documents from DARPA showing that Dr. Anthony Fauci LIED under oath about Gain of Function research in Wuhan.
Spracklen was the last leg on the platform for the Veritas group who’s seen their CEO and founder James O’Keefe suspended, as well as others with the organization, including the Project Veritas Twitter account that had almost 1 million followers when the tech giant censored and silenced that account.
Twitter has now suspended Matt Couch, Melissa Tate, Dr. Robert Malone, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and now Eric Spracklen in the last month.
Military Documents about Gain of Function contradict Fauci testimony under oath #ExposeFauci
Project Veritas has obtained startling never-before-seen documents regarding the origins of COVID-19, gain of function research, vaccines, potential treatments which have been suppressed, and the government’s effort to conceal all of this.
The documents in question stem from a report at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, better known as DARPA, which were hidden in a top secret shared drive.

Democracy, Autocracy . . . or Hypocrisy? Biden Calls for Changing the Filibuster Rule

According to the Associated Press, President Joe Biden today will support changing the filibuster rule for voting rights legislation — a move widely viewed as effectively killing the rule. The report says that Biden will portray the choice starkly as one between democracy and autocracy.
The AP, however, does not reference the third option of hypocrisy by failing to note that Biden vehemently opposed such moves for decades.
He previously denounced killing the rule as “disastrous” for our democracy but now will declare the rule itself to be an existential threat to democracy. It is the latest example of President Biden’s embrace of “whatever it takes politics.”
Biden will use a speech at Atlanta’s Ebenezer Baptist Church to complete his abandonment of his long-held position. AP quotes his expected address to include the following statement:
King family: ‘Difficult decision’ to attend Biden’s voting rights speech

Many civil rights leaders will appear in person for Biden’s and Harris’ remarks, including Rainbow PUSH Coalition founder Rev. Jesse Jackson, National Action Network founder Rev. Al Sharpton, National Urban League President Marc Morial and NAACP President and CEO Derrick Johnson.
On Tuesday morning, the Kings said they had “been in communication” with the activists boycotting the event, including Black Voters Matter co-founder Cliff Albright. “We certainly share his position and understand their frustration. And they also expressed that they understand our position in coming to the table and expressing these frustrations directly to the president,” Arndrea Waters King said.
Martin Luther King III, the eldest son of late civil rights leaders Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King, also suggested he was disappointed by how little the White House had accomplished to counter a wave of voting restrictions passed by several Republican state legislatures in the aftermath of the 2020 election.
Byron York: Biden being boycotted by allies who reject being used as ‘props’
Joe Biden has arranged to promote his demand that Congress make the Democrat agenda to take over elections nationwide law by making an appearance in Atlanta with Kamala Harris, and visit civil rights shrines like Martin Luther King Jr.’s memorial.

York explains the groups are “mad” because there’s been no progress by the Biden administration on their agenda to take over all voting procedures nationwide “on terms favorable to Democrats.”
“The groups are the Black Voters Matter Fund, the Asian American Advocacy Fund, the New Georgia Project Action Fund, and the Latino group GALEO Impact Action Fund,” York explained.
They issued a statement explaining Georgia voters voted for Democrats in the White House and Senate, but “In return, a visit has been forced on them, requiring them to accept political platitudes and repetitious, bland promises. Such an empty gesture, without concrete action, without signs of real, tangible work is unacceptable.”
Who is the Real Threat to Democracy

The Democrats treat everything as a threat to our Democracy. Trump was a threat. Voting laws are a threat.
The demonstration at the Capitol was a threat. Preventing the Build Back Better Bill is a threat. Everything is a threat, and everything is hyperbole. But is there a genuine threat to our Democracy? I believe so, and I contend it is the Democrats. Let me show you how.
The Constitution is the foundation of our Republic. We technically do not have a Democracy, but it is that term that people often use to describe our country.
There are many ways that the Democrats are trying to subvert the Constitution, and that is what I will detail today.

Covid-19: Hong Kong to extend Sinovac jabs to children aged 5, invisible Omicron transmission chains suspected

At her weekly meeting with the press, the chief executive said that because Sinovac had already been approved for children as young as three by an expert advisory panel, “from a policy perspective, we will expand the vaccination scope to children between five and 11 years old. They will be receiving the Sinovac jab.”
Lam said the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) had previously decided with two expert panels to prioritise vaccinations for 12 to 17 year olds. As for the newly announced threshold, she said “details will be passed to the CHP and scientific committee for further discussion.”
According to Lam, the government plans to send outsourced medical teams to schools to vaccinate pupils once in-person classes resume after the Lunar New Year holidays in early February. It is not yet clear if the jab will be mandatory.

Australia splashes $3.5b on tanks as China tensions rise

“Teamed with the infantry fighting vehicle, combat engineering vehicles, and self-propelled howitzers, the new Abrams will give our soldiers the best possibility of success and protection from harm,” said Defence Minister Peter Dutton.
Since signing the trilateral AUKUS agreement in September 2021, the US has taken an active interest in Australia’s defence capabilities. While Australia has been primarily used as an expert force in foreign wars, the current military spend is directed toward fighting a broad-based war, possibly in defence of home soil.
This particular upgrade is likely to see the army increase its ranks with 75 Abrams tanks (one of the three best tanks on earth), 29 assault breacher vehicles, 17 joint assault bridge vehicles and 6 armoured recovery vehicles.

South African parliament fire suspect charged with terrorism offences

Mafe was charged initially with breaking into parliament, arson and intention to steal property, including laptops, crockery and documents.
Prosecutors said the additional terrorism charge was introduced after investigators viewed CCTV footage from parliament on Monday.
The new charge said the “accused is guilty” of contravening laws on the “protection of constitutional democracy against terrorist and related activities”, according to a court document.
Governments Admit Using ‘Mass Formation Psychosis’ For Population Control

Dr. Robert Malone’s assertions about “mass formation psychosis” in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic are underscored by the fact that authorities in the UK admitted to using “totalitarian” methods of “mind control” to instill fear in the population.
In Canada, the military also admitted launching a psychological operations campaign against their own people in order to manipulate them into compliance with COVID-19 restrictions and mandates.
During his viral podcast with Joe Rogan after he was banned by Twitter, Malone explained how the global population was being manipulated into remaining in a constant state of hysterical anxiety via mass formation psychosis.
“What the heck happened to Germany in the 20s and 30s? Very intelligent, highly educated population, and they went barking mad. And how did that happen?” asked Malone.

Naomi Wolf: The Hysteria Is Not Genuine, It’s A Strategy

Author Naomi Wolf has been an outspoken critic of vaccine mandates and Covid tyranny from the start. Today, she talks to Steve Bannon about her belief that the left’s “hysteria” about Covid is actually a well-planned campaign to oppress the people.
“They are starting with a purge of conservatives, but what they are doing is keeping us down home, not allowing us to congregate, not allowing us to hear each other… herding us like horses on to social media and then saying we’re going to police what you can say on social media… We can’t say anything about vaccines.
The vaccines are a Trojan horse. The vaccines are a proxy. You criminalize speech around vaccines. You clear away dissent and clear away freedom of speech, and that’s the last pillar that protects us.”
