New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (right) and U.S. Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh speak Sept. 9, 2021, at a groundbreaking event for the New Jersey Wind Port.

Project proponents touted the port as a “first-in-the-nation infrastructure investment” to support offshore wind projects on the East Coast.

New Jersey’s fiscal 2022 budget includes $200 million allocated for the New Jersey Wind Port. Additionally, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities is kicking in $13 million, and the New Jersey Department of Transportation is covering $44 million for dredging.

The wind port, located on an artificial island on the eastern shores of the Delaware River, southwest of the city of Salem in Salem County, is part of New Jersey’s Energy Master Plan (EMP). According to a Garden State Initiative

(GSI) report, it is unclear what the EMP will cost the state and whether it will help reduce emissions. At least 25% of subcontractors must be small businesses, and at least 15% must be women-, minority- or veteran-owned. The project also stipulates that 18% of workers are people of color and 6.9% are women.

Two planned skyscrapers, a performing arts center, and a church are still unfinished at the site, which plays host Saturday to the annual ceremony honoring nearly 3,000 people killed in the attacks.

Visitors to the commemoration will find a place that no longer has the feel of a construction zone, though, even as the work continues.

Cranes and construction fences, however, can still be seen around the site. Here is a look at the unfinished work:

Planned as the second tallest skyscraper at the site, 2 World Trade Center, might someday reach 80 stories. But for now, just a low stump of a building exists as a placeholder, covered with colorful graffiti-style murals at the northeast corner of the Trade Center site.

The toddler, Asiah Figueroa, died from his wounds late Tuesday night after the gunmen opened fire on a home on Richard Rozzelle Drive, WCNC-TV reported. The boy’s 4-year-old sister was also struck in the attack but is expected to survive.

Police added that the toddler is the latest victim in a string of deadly shootings purportedly connected to disputes between students at area high schools. The suspects, whom police believe to be teenagers, remain at large.

Surveillance video of the attack show cars drive up to the house before multiple gunmen exit the vehicles and spray bullets at the residence for a prolonged period of time.

“We’re asking again and we’re pleading and we’re begging, as the mayor mentioned, for your assistance to help us identify the people involved in this shooting so we can take dangerous criminals off the street who are preying on our community and our society,” said Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Chief Johnny Jennings,

Employees granted religious exemptions will be placed on temporary, unpaid personal leave, and those granted medical exemptions will be placed on temporary medical leave, according to an internal memo.

The memo does not specify how long the leave will last.

Employees in “operational customer-facing roles,” including pilots, flight attendants and customer service agents were told, “Once the pandemic meaningfully recedes, you will be welcomed back to the team on active status.”

Those in non-customer-facing roles, including technicians and dispatchers, will be required to undergo weekly testing for COVID-19 and to wear a mask at all times including outdoors, the memo said.

Psaki says all federal employees have 75 days to get vaccinated or face getting FIRED:

There will be limited exceptions but any federal employee who refuses the shot can be fired, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Thursday.

Federal employees and contractors will have 75 days to get vaccinated.

The executive order will not include an option of being regularly tested to opt out of the vaccine requirement. The orders will apply to workers in the executive branch but not the congressional or judicial.

‘There will be limited exceptions for legally recognized reasons disability or religious objections,’ Psaki said. Anyone who ‘fails to comply, they will go through the standard HR process, which includes counseling and face disciplinary action,’ she added.

Biden will ORDER private companies with over 100 employees to mandate shots or testing and fine firms $14,000 for violations

To reach his goal, Biden will use the sweeping power of the federal government, ordering companies to vaccinate workers or face fines of up to thousands of dollars.

He’ll have the Labor Department issue an emergency, temporary order to require all businesses with 100 or more employees to ensure every worker is either fully vaccinated or gets tested at least once a week. The order covers over 80 million employees and it will require employers with 100 or more employees to give employees paid time off to get vaccinated.

Any business that violates the new rule will face substantial fines, up to $14,000.

He will also require all workers in healthcare settings that receive Medicaid or Medicare reimbursement to get vaccinated, which will apply to 17 million healthcare workers.

That is in addition to his executive order requiring all federal workers and contractors to get vaccinated.

Kleefisch enters Wisconsin’s governor’s race as Republican frontrunner

“I am running because I have two kids who I want to choose Wisconsin to live their American dreams and one day raise families here,” Klkeefisch said in her prepared statement. “But that is only possible if we start putting the people first.”

The real meat of her campaign, however, is a strong attack on Democratic Governor Tony Evers.

“Tony Evers’ weak leadership has been disastrous for our state. He failed to stand up to the left-wing mobs while Wisconsin cities burned. Evers tried to raise your taxes during a pandemic, and his administration let the calls of unemployed Wisconsinites go unanswered after he shut our economy down,” she said.

Kleefisch also released a nearly two-minute video on social media to reinforce those attacks.

Biden to Campaign Monday With Newsom as Recall Nears End

Biden will join the first-term Democratic governor in the Southern California city of Long Beach on Monday, the day before voting ends. He’s the last of a string of prominent Democrats who have come to the deep-blue state to assist Newsom as he faces a recall election.

Vice President Kamala Harris, a California native, campaigned alongside him Wednesday, and former President Barack Obama appeared in a campaign ad urging Californians to vote no on the recall.

Biden’s visit, his first to California since taking office in January, underscores the importance of his party maintaining the governorship in the nation’s most populous state, which has the fifth-largest economy in the world.

California has been the breeding ground for progressive policies on climate change, immigration and more. Beyond Harris, a handful of Biden’s Cabinet members have roots in the state.

Florida Files Emergency Motion to Reinstate School Mask Mandate Ban

The motion filed by the DeSantis team Wednesday evening contends that the governor could not have violated the law.

“According to its plain terms, the Parents’ Bill of Rights limits governmental authority and protects the inherent rights of parents,” the motion said. “Thus, the governor could not possibly have violated the Parents’ Bill of Rights by protecting parents’ rights. Most assuredly, the Parents’ Bill of Rights does not grant any authority to local school districts that did not previously exist.”

The motion also argues that the judge in his ruling over-stepped his bounds and violated constitutional separation of powers and examined policy and political issues about whether schools should be allowed to require masks.

This Country’s Insane COVID Policy Just Got Much Scarier & Now This? | DM CLIPS | Rubin Report

Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks about Australia continuing with it’s disastrous Covid Zero policy.

In addition to it’s insane coronavirus restrictions and Sydney lockdown the nation has also begun construction on quarantine camps.

The government also released it’s frightening plans to de-anonymize social media by linking people’s social media accounts to their passports and giving police access to it.

Pandemic of the Vaccinated – Latest PHE Report reveals the vaccinated account for 70% of Covid-19 deaths since February

When the Covid-19 vaccines were given emergency use authorisation the authorities did not have a clue as to whether they would work.

The limited trials carried out only measured whether or not a vaccinated person suffered serious disease if infected with Covid-19, they did not measure whether a vaccinated person could still become infected with Covid-19, and they did not measure whether or not a vaccinated person could still spread the virus in line with the mainstream accepted germ theory.

It is claimed that the vaccines reduce the chances of suffering serious illness if infected with Covid-19 significantly, so although the vaccinated population actually surpasses the number of infections recorded among the unvaccinated population you would assume that the opposite would be seen in the number of people who have allegedly died to the Delta variant?

Unfortunately, it looks as if we have been lied to and instead of the Covid-19 vaccines being our route back to normal they are instead quite the opposite. Because the data published by Public Health England shows us that the number of alleged deaths due to the Delta variant are not just higher among those who have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, they are astronomically higher.

Austrian man mummifies dead mother to keep receiving her benefits

“The 66-year-old man kept her body in order to continue receiving benefits,” they said.

The suspect lived with his mother near Innsbruck in the Tyrol region.

He admitted in questioning that he froze her body with icepacks in the basement after she died, to guard against the smell. He then wrapped her in bandages to absorb any corporal fluid.

“He covered his mother with cat litter and finally the corpse was mummified,” Helmut Gufler, in charge of the police’s social security fraud unit, told public broadcaster ORF.

When his brother came round asking about their mother, he said she was in hospital. The suspect would get his mother’s benefits by post every month, but a new postman had recently asked to see the beneficiary. When the son refused, he reported it to the authorities, and the body was discovered on Saturday.

After being shut out from the Taliban‘s new government, women increased pressure on Afghanistan‘s new rulers with a number of protests Wednesday, at least one of which was broken up by Taliban fighters who whipped some of the demonstrators and arrested local journalists.

The protests came one day after the Taliban announced an interim Cabinet composed exclusively of the group’s stalwarts, with no women or former political figures and few minorities.

Although the rallies were small, with only a few dozen women in each case, they put the new government to the test after it declared that participating in — and covering — protests is illegal without government permission.

A video posted on social media showed a Taliban fighter whipping one of the demonstrators as several women screamed and hurried away. The Los Angeles Times verified the location where the video was taken. Two Afghan journalists were taken to a police station and beaten with pipes and rifle butts.

“The US will definitely see the PLA show up at its doorstep in the not-too-distant future,” the op-ed said. “The two sides’ warships and aircraft on the seas will carry huge mutual strategic hostility, and the two countries will not yield to each other.”

“Once the situation gets out of control and triggers military clash between China and the US, we must give full play to our home field advantage. China will definitely win once there is a war,” the Global Times op-ed said.

The op-ed came in response to U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold conducting a freedom of navigation operation near the Mischief Reef in the Spratly Islands of the South China Sea on Wednesday.

“What the US has done is a naked provocation, and this is obvious to all,” the Global Times op-ed said, adding that the ship “posed a threat” to the “many Chinese people and facilities” on the island.
