Ohio woman loses medical license after threatening to give Jews ‘wrong meds,’ other anti-Semitic posts
Lara Kollab surrendered her training certificate to practice osteopathic medicine and surgery in Ohio on July 22. The State Medicine Board of Ohio decided to “permanently revoke” that certificate on Aug. 12.
A yearlong investigation showed she violated rules of conduct by failing to exhibit good moral character and “making a false, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading statement in relation to the practice of medicine,” the board said in documents about Kollab’s case.
Past tweets and posts on social media dating from August 2011 to September 2013 were documented by Canary Mission, an anti-hate watchdog that exposes anti-Semitism.
Sheldon Silver, former high-ranking NY political leader, heads to prison after stunning fall from power
Disgraced former Albany power broker Sheldon Silver surrendered to federal prison on Wednesday — bringing an end to a stunning fall from power by the one-time speaker of the New York Assembly.
For the past five years, Silver — who for decades wielded immense power in Albany as “one of the three men in the room” — dodged serving his time while he mounted appeals of his two corruption convictions.
Caproni, calling Silver’s conduct in office “corruption pure and simple,” dismissed final attempts by his legal team to delay his prison term because of the coronavirus pandemic at the sentencing hearing.
“The time … has now come for Mr. Silver to pay the piper,” Caproni said before handing down the sentence.

“According to the audio obtained by Madison365, someone called police to report that Blake was at her home and wasn’t supposed to be, and that he had taken her keys and was refusing to give them back.
A dispatcher relayed this message to patrol officers at about 5:11 pm Sunday,” Madison365 reported.
“About 30 seconds later, she let patrol officers know that there was ‘an alert at this address for a 99 for this subject,’ apparently to indicate that a warrant had been issued for Blake’s arrest.
Just five minutes after the initial call, an officer can be heard reporting shots fired, and the dispatcher acknowledged the report.
Additional officers were then dispatched to the scene, with another officer asking responding officers to verify that the officers initially on the scene were ok.
Kenosha violence: Suspect, 17, arrested in deadly shooting amid Jacob Blake unrest, Illinois police say
Kyle Rittenhouse was arrested in his hometown of Antioch, Ill., Wednesday on suspicion of intentional first-degree homicide, Commander Norman Johnson of the Antioch Police Department said. Antioch is about 20 miles southwest of Kenosha.
Rittenhouse was a “fugitive of justice” and “fled the state of Wisconsin with the intent to avoid prosecution” on a first-degree intentional homicide charge filed in Kenosha County, according to court records in Lake County, Ill., obtained by Fox News.
Kenosha Protests Escalate: 2 Shot Dead and 1 Injured, Police Search for Assailant Armed with Long gun
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, one victim had been shot in the head and another in the chest late Tuesday, just before midnight.
Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth told the outlet didn’t know where the other person was shot, but video posted on social media suggest someone had been wounded in the arm in the Wisconsin city.
The shooting came on the third night of violent protests that have torn through Kenosha.
It followed White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows stating Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers (D) rejected offers from the White House for additional National Guard help to deal with the unrest convulsing the city, as Breitbart News reported.
Minnesota man charged with COVID-relief fraud and money laundering
A Minnesota man was charged in an indictment unsealed today for allegedly fraudulently obtaining approximately $841,000 from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).
Kyle William Brenizer, 32, of St. Paul, Minnesota, was charged in a criminal indictment in the District of Minnesota with wire fraud and money laundering.
Brenizer falsely stated that True-Cut’s average monthly payroll was over $330,000 for approximately 30 employees.
In addition, Brenizer falsely certified that he was not subject to any pending criminal charges even though he was allegedly named in multiple felony charges pending in the State of Minnesota for such charges as check forgery, identify theft, and theft by swindle.
Missing Fort Hood soldier found dead hanging from tree
Fernandes’ death comes amid a number of high-profile deaths and disappearances around the Fort Hood Army base.
At least ten other Fort Hood soldiers have died at or near the base in 2020 and Fernandes’ case marks the eleventh 2020 death.
The Globe reported police received a call at around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday about a person walking around near a set of train tracks around 25 miles from Fort Hood.
Responding police found Fernandes’ body hanging from a tree near the tracks.
Fernandes was a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Specialist assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division Sustainment Brigade.
The Globe reported Fernandes had raised concerns about sexual assault by a superior officer and had been reassigned to a new unit within his brigade for his safety.
This information was news to Fernandes’ family members, who were not aware he had become suicidal.

Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. (Teva) has been charged with conspiring to fix prices, rig bids, and allocate customers for generic drugs, the Department of Justice announced today.
According to a superseding indictment filed today in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the company participated in three conspiracies from at least as early as May 2013 until at least in or around Dec. 2015.
“Today’s charge reaffirms that no company is too big to be prosecuted for its role in conspiracies that led to substantially higher prices for generic drugs relied on by millions of Americans,” said Assistant Attorney General Makan Delrahim of the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division.

Democratic Rep Sean Casten Claims Gun Ownership Is Linked To ‘Having Small Genitals’
“If you are a constitutionalist, unless you’re a member of well-regulated militia, tell me why you need to own a gun, right?
Having small genitals is not a sufficient reason to own a gun,” Casten said on a Zoom call with college students on Friday.
Casten’s Republican opponent, Jeanne Ives, posted a clip of Casten’s comments to YouTube on Tuesday. Casten’s campaign didn’t return the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

Rep. Crenshaw: Hillary Clinton telling Biden not to concede is ‘eerie’
Crenshaw, who will be addressing the Republican National Convention on Wednesday night, also told “Fox & Friends” that Clinton’s warning to the former vice president further proves that Democrats are building the narrative that if President Trump gets reelected in November, “it will be illegitimate.”
“We’ve got to have a massive legal operation,” Clinton, a former secretary of state under then-President Barack Obama, said. “And I know the Biden campaign is working on that.”
“How bold she is with just laying out their plan like that. And we all know that’s the plan, right? Create as much chaos around elections as possible,” Crenshaw said on Wednesday, reacting to Clinton’s comments.
He went on to say that people should find it “very suspicious” that “Democrats don’t want any regulation” on “our institution of voting.”

These so-called “civil rights organizations”, want to overthrow our government.They use the deaths of black men or women as an excuse to go on these rampages in the various Democrat-run cities.
They couldn’t care less about the persons being killed, they just needed the killing to justify their abhorrent behavior.
Both BLM and ANTIFA are Marxist oriented groups who want to overthrow our government.They make no bones about it.
The problem is that the politicians, who run the cities and states being attacked, turn a blind eye on the rioters and make excuses for their behavior, which makes the situation worse.
Most all of these cities and states are run by liberal Democrats, that’s not a political statement, that is an irrefutable fact.
If the Biden/Harris team gets elected, you’ll see more disgraceful attempts at the overthrow of our country.
CNN Analysts Unleash Personal Attacks On RNC Speakers In Twitter Storm
The personal attacks on speakers were beyond the pale, but hardly unprecedented.
What happened to Sandmann was a disgrace for the media and he had every right to speak publicly about his treatment by the media.
What is telling is that, rather than address the underlying argument on systemic racism in our society, analysts like Rangappa prefer to attack Haley personally and suggest that she is some type of shill for racism.
Those are issue worthy of debate and people of good faith can disagree on the merits.
That is a lot more productive than attacking an 18-year-old kid because he had the audacity to criticize the media and support President Trump.
There is, of course, a troubling entitlement evident in these stories. It is the entitlement enjoyed by media figures who feel total license to personally attack anyone who challenges their narrative or supports Trump.

US trial of Isis ‘Beatles’ likely after UK supreme court ruling clears way
Britain’s supreme court said on Wednesday that a stay preventing the Home Office from supplying intelligence relating to Alexanda Kotey and El Shafee Elsheikh must be lifted after the US said it would drop death penalty charges against them.
The Home Office said it would not comment on what it would do next, but the UK is expected to share evidence that US prosecutors have said they believe is vital for a trial to take place.
There may, however, be a last-minute legal challenge to try to prevent the two countries from cooperating.
North Korean hackers ramp up bank heists: U.S. government cyber alert
North Korean hackers are tapping into banks around the globe to make fraudulent money transfers and cause ATMs to spit out cash, the U.S. government warned on Wednesday.
A technical cybersecurity alert jointly written by four different federal agencies, including the Treasury Department and FBI, said there had been a resurgence in financially motivated hacking efforts by the North Korean regime this year after a lull in activity.
“Since February 2020, North Korea has resumed targeting banks in multiple countries to initiate fraudulent international money transfers and ATM cash outs,” the warning reads.
Australian woman jailed for 6 months after breaking coronavirus quarantine order: reports
Asher Faye Vander Sanden, 28, was permitted to fly home to Perth, Western Australia, where she would quarantine at a hotel for 14 days at her own expense after spending a month in the hard-hit state of Victoria, the BBC reported.
However, Vander Sanden instead hid inside a car that was being transported on a truck and crossed the border, according to Australia’s ABC media outlet.
She failed to tell authorities her whereabouts and was arrested Aug. 12, 10 days after arriving at her boyfriend’s house in Scarborough.
South China Sea tension rises amid US blacklisting, report of Beijing missile fire ‘warning’
The U.S. on Wednesday announced it blacklisted Chinese officials and business executives involved in the military buildup of the disputed South China Sea, further ratcheting up tensions in the region ahead of the November election — the same day that Beijing reportedly fired missiles including an “aircraft-carrier killer” into the sea as a “warning” to the U.S.
The State Department announced the blacklist Wednesday morning. Immediate family members of those targeted may also be barred from travel to the United States, the department said.
At the same time, the Commerce Department reported that it had added 24 state-owned Chinese enterprises, including subsidiaries of the China Communications Construction Company, to its commercial blacklist for their roles in constructing artificial islands and other activities that cause major environmental damage and infringe on other nations’ claims.

Rwanda seeks genocide suspect’s extradition from France
Maj. Gen. Aloys Ntiwiragabo, a former head of Rwanda’s military intelligence service, recently was found by a French media outlet to be living in the suburbs of Orleans.
Rwanda prosecution spokesman Justin Nkusi told The Associated Press that an international arrest warrant has been issued for Ntiwiragabo, who is under investigation in France over his role in the 1994 genocide in which more than 800,000 ethnic Tutsi, and Hutus who tried to protect them, were killed.
Rwanda’s government says the 71-year-old Ntiwiragabo was part of the inner circle of the former government that orchestrated the genocide. The International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda describes him as one of the architects of the killings.
Hong Kong police accused of ‘altering history and erasing facts’ in account of last year’s Yuen Long mob attack
Yuen Long district councillors also met the press following Chan’s remarks and released a statement strongly condemning the force for allegedly obscuring the facts and turning Lam – a plaintiff – into a defendant.
“A year from the Yuen Long July 21 incident, most Hongkongers understood from live-streams that white-clad rioters indiscriminately attacked civilians. Police officers of all ranks turned a blind eye to the attack and – worse – rolled down the gate of the police station and allowed the white-clad rioters to rage in Yuen Long. Police-triad collusion is known to everyone.”
“The police force use all kinds of arbitrary arrests to cover up their cowardice and shame in order to rationalise themselves.
They altered history and erased facts so as to change public opinions, boost the force’s morale and comfort themselves,” the statement read.
US airstrike kills 6 Somali terrorists who ambushed US troops
The airstrike was launched in response to an Al Shabaab ambush on U.S and partner forces in the area, AFRICOM said in an emailed statement to American Military News.
The Al Shabaab fighters attacked from a building in the vicinity of Dar as-Salam, Somalia before the airstrike was called. Three more Al Shabaab fighters were also wounded in the airstrike.
The AFRICOM said U.S. forces were in the vicinity of the ambush and were present as part of an effort to advise and assist Somali partner forces.
AFRICOM said Al-Shabaab falsely claimed U.S. casualties, but no U.S. forces were injured or killed during the attack.
