Student was allegedly pushed into lake by girlfriend before he died

Five Texas college students are facing criminal charges following the 2019 death of a Texas Christian University freshman, after one allegedly pushed him off a boat while they were flirting.

A witness claims she saw Jack Elliot fall from the bow of a 22-foot boat after Delaney Brennan, 21, pushed him while flirting out on the waters of Lake Travis, a manmade lake, northwest of Austin, in October 2019.

Delaney and Jack, 19, had been ‘kissing’ when she gave him a ‘playful shove’ that left him overboard before hitting a propeller and drowning in the water at around 8.30pm.

But teens who were present on the boat attempted to conceal the truth by lying to officials, pleading ignorance to Jack’s family, and dumping their booze bottles off the side of the boat.

Dermatologist wife abused husband for years before poisoning him

Chen, a radiologist, said that he and Yu started dating in 2011 and married a year later and had two children, a daughter, now 8 and a son, 7.

It was early into their courtship when he saw his wife’s alleged rage and erratic behavior begin to emerge.

‘After the children were born I became concerned about Emily’s behavior. Not only was she was very demanding of me that I give her massages, one time when I could not because I was sick she stepped on my head until I did it,’ according to the court documents.

He added: ‘[She] also began hiding money from me.’

Chen said, Yu along with his mother-in-law, Yuqin ‘Amy’ Gu, started abusing their children named Lauren and Ryan, when they were as young as two-years-old.

He claims the children were screamed at, slapped, insulted and deprived of sleep, and locked in their rooms.

Fire officials determined the body was dead upon arriving at the scene, NBC Los Angeles reported.

Authorities say there are no signs of foul play and believe the death to be a suicide, pending a coroner’s investigation.

“It appears to be self-immolation,” said LAPD detective Michael Ventura via KABC. “This is going to be somebody who brought some gasoline, brought some lighters. We have had, they are rare, but we do have cases where people will self-immolate. Or they choose to set themselves on fire.”

An LAFD spokesperson confirmed that the “body was that of a woman,” but her age and identity are unknown, the Los Angeles Daily News reported.

The woman was reportedly someone who frequented the park, KABC reported.

Trump Declines to Answer Questions in New York Civil Probe

Donald Trump on Wednesday declined to answer questions under oath in New York over alleged fraud at his family business, as legal pressures pile up for the former president whose house was raided by the FBI just two days ago.

Trump said he had “no choice” but to invoke the fifth amendment, which allows individuals to remain silent to protect against self-incrimination under questioning.

In a statement Trump said “I declined to answer the questions under the rights and privileges afforded to every citizen under the United States Constitution,” saying he took the advice from his legal counsel.

“When your family, your company, and all the people in your orbit have become the targets of an unfounded, politically motivated Witch Hunt supported by lawyers, prosecutors, and the Fake News Media, you have no choice,” Trump said.

“If there was any question in my mind, the raid of my home, Mar-a-Lago, on Monday by the FBI, just two days prior to this deposition, wiped out any uncertainty.”

Trump earlier said on social media he was in the offices of New York Attorney General Letitia James, whose investigation is one of several active probes into the brash billionaire’s business practices and other actions.

Moderna Clinical Trials Terribly Flawed — and FDA Knew It, Former Pharma Executive Tells RFK, Jr.

There were “terrible flaws” in Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials — and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) knew it, according to Alexandra Latypova, a former pharmaceutical industry executive who reviewed nearly 700 pages of documents Moderna submitted to the FDA as part of its application process.

Latypova, who has 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical research and development, started a number of successful companies — primarily focused on creating and reviewing clinical trials.

On a recent episode of “RFK Jr. The Defender Podcast,” she told Kennedy what she learned after reviewing the Moderna documents, obtained via a Freedom of Information Act request.

BlenderBot 3 is the world’s first 175B parameter chatbot launched on Friday. It is programmed to learn and improve through conversation with real-world humans, and it is capable of having conversations on a wide range of topics.

“Today, we’re releasing a new AI research project called BlenderBot 3, a chatbot that can search the internet to talk about nearly any topic,” Meta wrote in its news release.

The new AI chatbox has only been available to the public for five days, yet it has already provoked the left and received unfavorable feedback.

During a conversation with a reporter from the Daily Beast, the bot said that President Donald Trump had actually won the 2020 election against Joe Biden, but Biden had stolen the votes for himself through fraud.

‘One-sided’: FBI gave Hillary Clinton ‘several days’ to ‘delete’ her emails

The FBI’s raid on Donald Trump’s home is “so one-sided” as it wasn’t too long ago Hillary Clinton was given several days to “delete” any potentially incriminating emails she had, former adviser to the Clinton White House Barbara Heineback says.

“She was given a lot of warnings so she could take her little email source and she could delete and keep whichever emails she wanted – she had several days to do that,” Ms Heineback told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“Then she actually used bleach bit and acid in order to ensure that they could not find any damaging or incriminating information on her phones and on the computer.

“She took a hammer to it after all of that and he was never prosecuted and you couldn’t even get mainstream to talk about it – though same thing with Hunter – it is so one sided.”

Los Angeles Rejecting Votes to Oust Radical Prosecutor at ‘Shockingly’ High Rate, Recall Campaign Says

The campaign obtained public records that show the registrar’s office was training staff to review votes using outdated signature standards, which allow the disqualification of any signature for minor variations compared with the one provided on a person’s voter registration form.

In a letter to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, lawyers for the campaign expressed concerns that these outdated standards were leading to an improperly high rejection rate.

Registrar Dean Logan on Monday said concerns over the signature rejections were “selective outrage” and “a fictitious narrative to misinform and cast doubt.” But Marian Thompson, the attorney who wrote the letter, told the Washington Free Beacon the county clerk has not been forthcoming about the reasons for the rejection rate and refuses to share the precise number of invalid signatures.

“If they didn’t follow the law and apply the same legal standards used for signature verification for vote-by-mail ballots, then we have a legal team assembled to resolve this matter in a court of law,” Thompson said.

EXPOSED: The far-left plan to CREATE conservative ‘RADICALS’

Donald Trump is the first former president to ever be under THIS much scrutiny AFTER leaving office.

So, why does the far-left hate him so much? Why do they continue to use every tool — like an FBI raid — at their disposal to destroy the former Commander-in-Chief?

In this clip, Glenn theorizes why he believes the far-left is going to such great lengths. And it’s NOT about their hatred for President Trump, he says.

Rather, it’s about their ultimate endgame: To CREATE right-wing ‘radicals’ who they can use to demonize ALL conservatives for decades to come.

But there is one way America can survive such a plan. Glenn explains in this clip…

Eric Trump to Newsmax: Mar-a-Lago Raid ‘Directed by White House’

Eric Trump told Newsmax that the raid on his father’s Florida home was “directed by the White House” to embarrass and hurt former President Donald Trump.

Speaking Tuesday night on “Greg Kelly Reports,” Trump said he was the person who alerted his father of the raid after being informed by Mar-a-Lago staff.

“You know the White House knew,” Trump told host Greg Kelly. “Mark my word, they’re out there today saying no one in the White House knew. This was a hundred percent, mark my word, directed by the White House.

Telling Kelly he was “pissed off,” Trump said the raid will backfire on the administration and Democrats.

DonaldJTrump.com is shattering all fundraising records and I’m told has raised more money in the past 24 hours than ever before in recent history!” Eric Trump revealed on TruthSocial and Twitter, suggesting that the raid has riled up the conservative base.

Conservatives have not reacted kindly to Biden’s FBI taking the action, demanding a prompt investigation.

Stunningly, President Biden’s team denied having any advance knowledge on the raid itself — a denial Trump has called out.

“Biden knew all about this, just like he knew all about Hunter’s ‘deals,’” Trump wrote on TruthSocial.

In a separate post, Trump echoed the sentiments of many other Republicans, asserting that “we are no better than a third world country, a banana republic.”

Democrats Have Arrested, Prosecuted, And Raided Their Enemies. There’s Only One Way To Make Them Stop

That’s what makes the FBI’s raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home so shocking — so disconcerting that voices from former Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to the liberal Bloomberg editorial board to D.C.-groupthink mouthpiece Playbook have all voiced their unease.

These liberals’ unease stands in contrast with Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell, who ignored a reporter’s Tuesday afternoon question on the subject, and didn’t issue so much as a peep of concern for the first 23 hours after the raid was publicized. He was joined in his silence by Senate Republican Whip John Thune (who issued a statement at the same time, Tuesday night), Senate Republican Policy Committee Chairman Roy Blunt (who remained silent as of 9 p.m. on Tuesday), and the Senate’s premier “thoughtful conservative” cosplayer, Ben Sasse.

Why the silence? While after five years of increasingly unrealistic (and unproven) conspiracies and accusations against the former president, some Republicans still somehow trust the FBI.

The reality is that others, such as McConnell, are pleased by the raid. But regardless of their private thoughts and motivations, their impotent silence in the face of the Biden administration’s charges, arrests, and raids on its political opponents exposes their inability to handle the crisis the American state finds itself in.

The only way to fight back is to make the kinds of people who’ve weaponized and undermined the American state suffer for their actions. They’ve arrested their enemies, revived obscure rules as pretexts for partisan attacks, and raided their opponents’ homes, and they won’t be sorry until they’ve felt the same pain.

Tunisian Mourad Talbi confessed to stabbing Moroccan barber Halim Hamza to death with a blade around eight inches long on August 7th, killing the barber without saying a word to him beforehand.

The 37-year-old had already been arrested at least ten times by Italian authorities for various crimes including drug dealing and violence and had been ordered to leave the country several times by Italian authorities, yet still remained, Il Giornale reports.

The exact motivation for the killing remains unclear, although the Tunisian claimed to have been a victim of abuse by an acquaintance of the man he fatally stabbed. Investigators, whoever, remain sceptical of the man’s story, suspecting the man may have planned the murder and are continuing to investigate.

Energy Emergency: Britain Planning for Days of Winter Blackouts

In preparation for potential gas shortages during the winter months, in which imports from countries such as Norway and France are in jeopardy, the British government has allegedly laid out plans for a four-day blackout under a “reasonable worst-case scenario”.

According to a report from Bloomberg, government officials fear that the country could face a shortage of around a 17 per cent of typical demand even if emergency measures to re-open closed coal fire plants are put in place.

Therefore a plan has been put in place to cut power to households over a four-day period in January during peak demand for gas heating.

A spokesman for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy cautioned that the plan is “not something we expect to happen.”

The American West Is Running Out Of Water. Will California Desalinate?

The American West is facing its longest drought in 1,200 years, presenting the nation with its worst water crisis since the Dust Bowl of the early 20th century.

Despite supplies drying up, California water officials vetoed plans for a $1.4 billion desalination project in May, which would have offered L.A. residents 50 million gallons of potable water by next year from the Pacific. The state Coastal Commission, citing a risk to marine habitat and “environmental justice,” unanimously rejected the proposal for a plant in Huntington Beach after a two-decade effort to meet the requests of public officials. Commissioners argued the energy-intensive process of desalination presented too much of a coastal hazard while raising local water prices.

“There’s no reason to have scarcity of water in one of the richest states that’s existed in the entire world,” Shellenberger said. “This is not rocket science.”

California could also take lessons from Israel.

No nation on Earth has been as successful at transforming seawater into a drinkable resource as Israel, half of which exists in an arid region of the Middle East.

A four-year drought between 2014-2018 left the world’s lowest freshwater lake, the Sea of Galilee, even lower from overuse and irregular rainfall. Excess output of desalinated water, however, has replenished the lake to its maximum capacity for the first time in three decades. In July, the country introduced plans to use desalinated water from the Sea of Galilee to make the Jordan River safe for swimming again.
