Video: Hundreds of MN high school students chant “Go home, Nat’l Guard” after walking out of class to protest troops

The student protesters also sought to stand in solidarity with Daunte Wright, who was shot apparently accidentally during a traffic stop in Minnesota last week.

“Students from [Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists] gather in downtown Saint Paul before marching to the Capitol as students across Minnesota walk out of class to stand in solidarity for [Daunte Wright],” tweeted Guardian reporter Amudalat Ajasa.

The walkout comes one day after California Democrat Representative Maxine Waters encouraged rioters to “get more confrontational” if the Chauvin trial doesn’t produce a guilty verdict.

Waters’ rhetoric was widely condemned by GOP lawmakers, including freshman Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene who announced on Twitter that she would introduce a resolution to expel Waters from Congress.

In a viral video, a mother can be seen scolding a ferris wheel operator as she and her young children exit the ride.

The man, who remains unnamed at the time of this reporting, can be seen shoving the woman and appearing to choke her. During the attack, the man appears to knock over one of the woman’s young children, who falls hard to the ground next to the ride.

Just seconds later, a crowd swarms the ferris wheel operator in defense of the mother and attacks him.

It appears they wanted to send a message to Barry Brodd — a former Santa Rosa cop who happens to be a witness for the defense in the Derek Chauvin trial, the station said.

So our heroes took it upon themselves to smear the front of the house with animal blood and toss a severed pig’s head on the porch, KPIX said.

The victim called police after being awakened by the black-clad vandals who soon took off after completing their deed, the station said.

Now advocates for legalizing incest are jumping at the chance to support the suit and use it to advance their agenda.

Pro-incest advocate Richard Morris of Australia told the Post that he backs the suit, saying that sex between consenting adults “should not be criminalized.”

The Post said another incest advocate, Keith Pullman of the Full Marriage Equality site, is enthused by the New York lawsuit.

Pullman’s website advocates “for the right of consenting adults to share and enjoy love, sex, residence, and marriage without limits on the gender, number, or relation of participants” and claims that “full marriage equality is a basic human right.”

This Is Why Planned Parenthood Is FINALLY Denouncing Their Racist Founder

Commentary/Opinion: President and CEO of Planned Parenthood, Alexis McGill Johnson, recently wrote an op-ed in the New York Times describing why her organization is “done making excuses for our founder.”

She says Planned Parenthood will work to distance itself from Margaret Sanger due to her history of racism. Wait…WHAT?!

Conservatives have called out Sanger’s ties to racism for YEARS, so why is the far-left admitting to her sins now? But Glenn says this isn’t about Margaret Sanger, racism, OR virtue signaling.

He explains that this is the far left’s new “declaration of war.”

They’re signaling that if they’re willing to cancel their own, imagine what they’re willing to do to YOU.

WWII-era plane in Florida air show makes splash landing in ocean

Witnesses captured video of the single-engine TBM Avenger descending slowly over the heads of beachgoers near the Cocoa Beach Air Show and landing in the shallow water just offshore.

“It looked like (the pilot) pulled up at the last moment and avoided any spectators,” witness Melanie Schrader told Florida Today.

“There were loads of people on the water, and then I saw him on top of the plane. It looked like he was OK.”

Anti-police ‘thugs’ target EMTs, paramedics in this city

Oren Barzilay, head of EMS Local 2507, says it is ‘mind boggling’ for first responders to be exposed to violence in New York City.

Utah reporter condemned for tracking down paramedic who donated $10 to Kyle Rittenhouse defense

The Guardian reported last week Rittenhouse, the Illinois teenager accused of killing two protesters in Wisconsin in August, received thousands of dollars in donations for his legal defense, including from public officials and police officers.

Jason Nguyen, a reporter from ABC’s Salt Lake City affiliate in Utah, discovered a local paramedic donated $10 to Rittenhouse and headed to his home seeking his “side” of the story.

The decision to track down a private citizen for donating $10 was lambasted nationally once Nguyen tweeted about it.

“Far too many journalists are willing to destroy the life of a private citizen doing nothing and bothering no one at a moment’s notice. It’s frightening and un-American,” NewsBusters managing editor Curtis Houck responded.

Soon officers encountered Williams at the house. “Hey, what’s up, man? What you doin’ around here? You live here?” one officer is heard asking him, the station said. “If you don’t live here, man, I’m just kindly asking you just to leave the property, all right?”

WXIA said bodycam video caught an image of Williams as he walked down the steps:
And police said Williams lunged at an officer with what they described as a blue ceramic knife, the station reported:

An officer fired one shot, but police said Williams fled into the trees surrounding the house, WXIA reported, adding that an officer said in the bodycam clip that she may have shot Williams in the shoulder.

“Drop the knife, man!” an officer hollers into the woods.

California encourages venues to require vaccine ‘passports’ — just don’t call them that

California health officials have repeatedly said they have no plans to institute COVID-19 vaccine “passports” — digital or paper passes that allow vaccinated residents or those who’ve tested negative into concerts, baseball games and other sports arenas.

But this month, the state announced reopening rules for indoor live events that give businesses an incentive to demand such proof from ticket holders.

Businesses can hold larger events when they verify either of the safeguards.

“What is happening to vaccine passports is the same thing that happened with masks,” Swartzberg said. “It has become politicized, and that is really just unfortunate.”

Policing in America | Full Measure

The city of Minneapolis has become ground zero for calls to change policing in America. It began after the death of George Floyd last year.

Then this past week, demonstrators took to the streets again, after Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old unarmed black man, was shot and killed by a police officer.

Our Scott Thuman recently returned to Minneapolis to look at the demands to defund police, and if some cities are having second thoughts after slashing their police budgets.

Capitol Riots | Full Measure

This past week, prosecutors announced the police officer who shot and killed an unarmed protester during the U.S. capitol riots, Ashli Babbitt, will not face criminal charges.

Also, the inspector general issued scathing findings… telling Congress that Capitol Police were ill-prepared, had faulty equipment and didn’t share intelligence.

Senator Ron Johnson, a lead Republican on the Homeland Security Committee recently spoke with me about still-lingering questions from the riots.

Republicans Open Schools, Democrats Still Keeping Them Closed

The latest data underscore an appallingly partisan split on what should be a more science-based decision.

If you look at only one graphic today, make it this state-by-state average of K-12 schools offering full-time, in-person instruction, as updated April 18 by Burbio:

Deep red states open schools.Deep blue states keep schools closed.

Schools around the planet were overwhelmingly not spreading COVID-19 even before American teachers were given prioritized access to vaccines.

Now that there’s no excuse for educators not to be vaccinated, there’s none left for buildings to remain even half-shut in this homestretch of a cursed school year.

The bill permits citizens to sue a local government if that government does not stop a riot and “defines ‘riot’ as a violent public disturbance involving 3 or more people acting with common intent resulting in injury to others, damage to property, or the imminent danger of injury or damage,” WFLA reports, adding that the bill “creates a new second-degree felony called an ‘aggravated riot,’ which occurs when the riot has more than 25 participants, causes great bodily harm or more than $5,000 in property damage, uses or threatens to use a deadly weapon, or blocks roadways by force or threat of force.”DeSantis stated,

“This legislation strikes the appropriate balance of safeguarding every Floridian’s constitutional right to peacefully assemble while ensuring that those who hide behind peaceful protest to cause violence in our communities will be punished. Further, this legislation ensures that no community in the state engages in defunding of their police.”

Israeli Military Officials Unite in Opposition to Biden Admin’s Iran Deal

A group of more than 2,000 former high-ranking Israeli military, law enforcement, and intelligence community officials are warning the Biden administration against inking a new nuclear deal with Iran, saying the rush to negotiate with Iran directly endangers Israel and its newfound Arab allies.

The letter, penned by Israel’s Defense & Security Forum, or Habithonistim, is the clearest sign to date that Israel and its Arab allies in the region are united in opposition to the Biden administration’s efforts to rejoin the 2015 nuclear accord, which they view as fundamentally flawed and an immediate threat to regional stability.

In addition to Israel, leaders from the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia have expressed concerns about America’s diplomacy with Iran and efforts to unwind sanctions that have brought the Islamic Republic to the brink of collapse.

The accusation is the latest in the continuing dispute between Paris and the small east-African country over the role played there by France before and during the mass killings.

France has long been accused of not doing enough to halt the genocide.

The 600-page report, by the US law firm Levy Firestone Muse, labels France a “collaborator” of the extremist Hutu regime that orchestrated the murders of about 800,000 people, mainly from the Tutsi minority.

Eritrea acknowledged its troop presence in Ethiopia and announced its intention to withdraw from the country after months of denying it was involved in the human rights crisis.

The African country told the United Nations Security Council in a letter Friday that it is withdrawing its troops from the northern Ethiopian region of Tigray, the site of an ongoing humanitarian crisis.

Eritrea’s admission marks the first time the country has officially said it is involved in the human rights crisis, responding to months of international and humanitarian pressure to admit to its presence in Ethiopia.
