Video shows reinstated TN State Rep Justin Jones stopping cars and assaulting drivers in summer of 2020

Footage has been unearthed of disgraced Tennessee state representative Justin Jones stopping cars and assaulting drivers during summer protests outside of the state Capitol in 2020.
Jones had claimed at the time that the narrative that he was violent was false.
The footage proves otherwise.
“They will try to push a false narrative portraying me as “violent” as a way to deflect from their own actions. They will suggest that I am out of order. That is their strategy. However, I’m hopeful for the chance to present our evidence in a transparent manner.” Jones tweeted.

FBI arrests Massachusetts Air National Guardsmen Jack Teixeira in probe of classified document leaks

Attorney General Merrick Garland said that Teixeira, 21, is being investigated for the “alleged unauthorized removal, retention, and transmission of classified national defense information.”
A large police presence could be seen at the home in North Dighton, which is about 35 miles south of Boston.
Teixeira, who worked on military intelligence systems on a full-time basis, had his security clearance and access to classified government systems revoked, according an internal government document reviewed by Fox News.
The National Guard said in a statement it is aware of the “alleged role a Massachusetts Air National Guardsman may have played in the recent leak of highly-classified documents” from the Pentagon.
Intelligence leaker worked on a military base, Washington Post reports
The leak happened on the gaming platform Discord.
The Post spoke to a Discord group member on the condition of anonymity who said the alleged leaker began posting messages to the group’s chatroom last year that referenced military jargon and “strange acronyms.”

Georgia inmate eaten alive by bugs in conditions ‘not fit for a deceased animal,’ family attorney says

Jail officials placed Thompson in the psychiatric wing after determining he had schizophrenia, Harper said.
The attorney shared several extremely graphic photos of Thompson and the filth he allegedly died in at the detention facility in a Wednesday press release.
“The family approved photographs…. show[ing] that the jail cell Mr. Thompson was housed in was not fit for a deceased animal,” Harper wrote. “He did not deserve this. Someone has to be held accountable for his death. The Fulton County Jail must be closed and replaced.”
Three months after his placement in the psychiatric wing, Thompson “was found in a filthy jail cell after being eaten alive by inspects and bed bugs,” the press release states.
Public records obtained by Harper’s law office apparently show that detention officers and medical staff at the jail noticed Thompson’s deterioration – including an infection from bedbugs and lice on his torso – while he was still alive but did nothing to aid him.
Woman sets Nike sports bra ablaze after brand features trans woman as female product model

In the video she posted to the social media app Tuesday, user “Chatterbox Mama” declared, “Nike, you should be ashamed of yourself. You chose a little boy with no breasts and some junk in his pants to represent real women.”
She then proceeded to set the sports bra aflame and called on others to join her in the fiery boycott.
Enraged that Nike was using a biological male to model women’s clothing, Chatterbox Mama ripped the company on TikTok.
At the opening of her post she said, “All you women out there, we are in the fight of all fights. Since the 1960s, we have been fighting for the right to be women.”
Teachers ordered by Obama-appointed judge to pay $300K after opposing DEI training: ‘Unprecedented’ ruling

Teachers opposed the training that allegedly contained content forcing them to place themselves on an “oppression matrix.” The material also allegedly called for socio-economic changes and asked teachers to share information they wished to keep private.
Brooke Henderson was one of the two fighting back against the training she said encouraged her to believe that America is systemically racist.
“If we believed in a colorblind America, [it told us] that we are White supremacists, and it really just felt like there was no hope and that the wheels had come off the bus of what our job as educators was,” she said.
Henderson, who said she has taught for over 20 years, said the training was district-wide, impacting employees ranging from bus drivers to cafeteria workers, custodial crew members, teachers and everyone else employed in the district.
U.S. identifies suspect who allegedly leaked secret Pentagon documents as Jack Teixeira

Washington — Federal law enforcement officials have identified the person suspected of leaking secret defense and intelligence documents that have circulated online for weeks, three U.S. officials tell CBS News.
The officials confirmed the suspect is a man named Jack Teixeira. The New York Times, which first revealed his name Thursday, reported that he is a 21-year-old member of the 102nd Intelligence Wing of the Massachusetts Air National Guard.
The report in The New York Times came hours after a story in The Washington Post detailed a small online community on the platform Discord where the documents appeared to have first been shared by the group’s leader. Earlier reporting by Bellingcat traced the documents’ supposed path from that server, known as Thug Shakers Central, to a larger Discord community. They began appearing on 4chan, Twitter and Russian Telegram channels last week, when they first came to the attention of U.S. officials.
California LGBT Activists Call for Taking Children From Parents

Snuck into AB 665, legislation ostensibly about extending mental health care to lower-income California youths, is a provision that effectively would terminate parents’ rights over their kids as soon as they turn 12.
The California Family Council warns that this bill “would allow children as young as 12 years old to consent to being placed into state funded group homes without parental permission or knowledge.”
AB 665, which passed out of the Assembly Judiciary Committee last week, builds on a 2010 measure signed into law by then-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, a Republican.
That provision was no accident. The Center for American Progress, a liberal think tank, celebrated the California law in a 2010 report as a “useful model for state or federal legislation to address mental illness among LGBT youth.”
Why are California lawmakers trying to make it easier for kids to face such horrible fates?
The unspoken reason seems likely here: California lawmakers know that plenty of parents have concerns about minors who pursue gender transition. These are valid concerns: gender transition medical procedures, even for minors, can be extensive—and some of it is irreversible.
The growing “detransitioner” movement highlights how some people receive transgender treatment, and then have regrets.
Fellow Tech Executive Arrested In Stabbing Death Of Cash App Founder Bob Lee

Momeni, the owner of Expand IT, was arrested in Emeryville, located roughly 11 miles from San Francisco across the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. The two men reportedly knew each other.
Multiple police sources have described the predawn knifing that last week left the 43-year-old Lee dead in a deserted section of downtown San Francisco as neither a robbery attempt nor a random attack.
Rather, Lee and Momeni were portrayed by police as being familiar with one another. In the wee hours of April 4, they were purportedly driving together through downtown San Francisco in a car registered to the suspect. -Mission Local
The confrontation reportedly started in Momeni’s car, and ‘potentially continued after Lee exited the car.’ Police have accused Momeni of stabbing Lee multiple times with a knife which was recovered near the 300 block of Main Street, where officers initially responded.

Russia nearly shot down British RAF spy plane over Black Sea

The incident happened when the British plane was flying through international airspace close to the Russian-occupied Crimea peninsula. It was buzzed by a squadron of Moscow’s Su-27 fighters and chaos ensued.
At the time, British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace acknowledged the incident, telling Parliament that the Russian jets ‘recklessly’ came within 15ft of the RAF plane and one ‘released a missile in the vicinity’.
But two US defence officials commenting on top secret intelligence documents leaked online told the New York Times today that the incident was far more serious than believed.
The Pentagon sources claimed the Russian pilot completely misinterpreted what a radar operator on the ground was telling him, believing he either had permission or was being ordered to fire on the RAF.

In an interview with the local newspaper The Chronicle, Zimbabwe’s Minister of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Kazembe Kazembe said that the digital system would allow citizens to apply for biometric passports, register births, apply for national IDs, facilitate border crossings, and help law enforcement agencies monitor criminal activities.
“This system will allow you to apply for your passport or anything on your phone,” the minister said.
Canada’s government directly leaned on social media platforms to censor news and tweets
Documents that have become available recently and reports based on them, say that in Canada, too, the government is effectively trying to pressure social media sites to remove certain news articles – but apparently, at least in one case, without success.
The case relates to links to a Toronto Sun article that has not been named, and the “request” for censorship came from the the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada in September 2021.
The Canadian Press report notes that, “documents tabled in parliament detail 214 examples of Ottawa asking for social-media content to be removed between January 2020 and February 2023,” adding that, “companies took down posts about half the time for reasons such as impersonation or copyright violations.”

Feinstein — who has been recovering from shingles for more than a month and is also 89 years old, has faced increasing calls from prominent Democrats such as Reps. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Dean Phillips (D-MN) to resign.
“It is obvious she can no longer fulfill her duties,” Khanna said.
“Senator Feinstein is a remarkable American whose contributions to our country are immeasurable. But I believe it’s now a dereliction of duty to remain in the Senate and a dereliction of duty for those who agree to remain quiet,” Phillips said.

US Senate to debate digital ID plans

Legislation for a digital identity verification system in the US has progressed to the Senate for debate. That means that the US could soon have a digital ID, which is opposed by most digital rights groups over privacy concerns.
The Improving Digital Identity Act of 2023 was introduced by Independent Sen. Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona and GOP Sen. Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming.
It was introduced in the Senate for debate last month after being approved by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
“The lack of an easy, affordable, reliable, and secure way for organizations, businesses, and government agencies to identify whether an individual is who they claim to be online, creates an attack vector that is widely exploited by adversaries in cyberspace and precludes many high-value transactions from being available online,” the text of the bill states.
