The Freedom for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) filed two lawsuits on behalf of Army veteran Jeff Gray after his arrest and citation for holding a sign that read “God Bless the Homeless Vets” outside of government buildings in Georgia.

High-speed pursuit of 12-year-old, 15-year-old migrant smugglers ends in shocking car crash

The vehicle was stolen out of San Antonio, and the 15-year-old has been charged with evading arrest causing bodily injury, human smuggling causing bodily injury, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and drug possession.
Everybody survived.
The shocking video highlights the problem of human smuggling at the border, which can frequently involve cartels recruiting teens, including American citizens, on social media and elsewhere to smuggle illegal immigrants deeper into the U.S.
There were 251,000 migrant encounters in December alone. Meanwhile, there have so far been over 300,000 “gotaways” – illegal immigrants who have evaded Border Patrol – this fiscal year so far, sources told Fox News this week.

Ranchers warn disease that would ‘decimate’ the cattle industry could cross the southern border

Foot and mouth disease (FMD) is a highly contagious virus that affects cows, pigs, sheep and other animals with cloven hooves. Todd Wilkinson, a South Dakota rancher who also serves as president-elect of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA), told Fox News Digital it is only a matter of time before FMD makes its way across the southern border.
“Our border is just so porous, if that disease comes in, it’s just going to devastate the industry. And frankly, I don’t know how it’s been kept out to this point,” Wilkinson said.
FMD circulates in 77 percent of the global livestock population, primarily in Africa, the Middle East and Asia, along with parts of South America. The U.S. has been free of FMD since 1929.
Customs and Border Protection has told Fox News Digital there are an average of 6,858 migrant encounters at the border every day, and Wilkinson predicted this is where FMD could enter the U.S.
“It can come in, certainly, with animals. It can also come in on a meat product. So there’s a number of ways it’s going to come in. But the most likely way it’s going to come in is some manure on the bottom of somebody’s boot,” he said.
Gavin Newsom’s Wife Earned $1.4 Million Charging Schools to Screen Her Documentaries

The watchdog group Open the Books reported on their findings, which showed Newsom and her nonprofit, The Representation Project, raised up to $1,483,001 in film licensing fees since 2012.
Per Fox News:
Siebel Newsom’s non-profit released four films, for which she is credited as a writer and director, advocating for “gender justice.” Siebel Newsom’s “gender identity” films are produced through her for-profit operation, Girls Club Entertainment, which is then licensed by the nonprofit The Representation Project, to public schools. The Representation Project claims that they fight “sexism through films education, research and activism.”
Open The Books said that the documentaries were licensed to “individuals, corporations, and schools, and came with their own lesson plans.”
Roughly 2.6 million students viewed the films in 5,000 schools, which spent up to $49-$599 to screen the films.
“According to The Representation Project’s Impact Report (2011-2021), the organization’s film curricula are being used in over 5,000 schools in all fifty states. The Representation Project claims over 11,200 copies of the curricula have been distributed, reaching more than 2.6 million students,” said Open The Books.
YouTube Kids defends videos featuring drag queens, LGBT+ content targeting children

In order to use YouTube Kids, parents must first create an account for their children. The platform allows parents to control and limit the types of content that can be viewed. It also keeps track of every video a child has watched.
Once signed in, the homepage displays videos on several topics, including DIY crafts, shows, music, and gaming. After a child starts streaming content, YouTube Kids recommends other similar videos.
According to Fox News Digital, over 120 videos on the platform focused on gender and sexuality, most of which were uploaded by the channel “Queer Kids Stuff.”
A supposedly kid-friendly YouTube channel, “Queer Kids Stuff,” teaches children about various gender and sexual identities in videos such as “L is for Lesbian,” “I is for Intersex,” and “T is for Transgender.”

Students mercilessly assault 9-year-old girl on school bus, parents pressing charges: video

The disturbing footage shows two boys repeatedly striking the girl as she is folded over in a seat, barely defending herself with one hand as she tightly grips her backpack with the other. Many of the punches land on the girl’s head, neck and face.
No fellow students or adults intervened to stop the brutal assault.
“I got sent the video of my daughter getting attacked by an older kid,” the mother, who wished to remain anonymous, told the outlet.
She also confirmed at least two adults were on the bus at the time of the incident, including the bus driver and an aide.
“All ages are on that bus, and it’s overfilled,” the mother told Local News 10. “It’s very crazy because there’s all this yelling going on in the bus and the two adults on the bus – the bus (driver) and the bus aide, only sit in the front.”
And, this is not the first time the mother has been alerted to her children being victims of bullying within the district.

The Man Who Wants ‘Cities to Fall Apart’?

According to published reports, George Soros is teaching college courses these days to thousands of students.
To be clear, he is not actually on campuses in front of the class. Rather, exhaustive investigations by journalists reveal how his reach, influence, and above all, money, is resetting curriculum to reflect his political ideology wherever and whenever he can.
Investigative author Matt Palumbo wrote in the New York Post last month:
“In 2020 alone, Soros’ Open Society Foundations budgeted more than $63 million, or just over 5% of its budget, toward influencing higher education here and abroad….
“More than 19 colleges had individually received at least $1 million from Soros, including Harvard University, Columbia University, Indiana University, and Georgetown University, among others.”
For what purpose?
It would appear that Soros is seeking to leverage his enormous wealth to create a new political cadre from an emerging generation that will pursue his goals today, and long after he is gone. It is what these goals are that is being questioned (for instance here , here and here).

Privacy Nightmare: FTC Claims Drug Discount App GoodRx Leaked User Data to Facebook, Google

The New York Times reports that U.S. regulators have criticized GoodRx, a drug discount app that millions of Americans use to find cheaper prices on prescription medications.
The app’s creator, GoodRx Holdings, was charged by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) with improperly disclosing users’ private health information to tech giants Facebook and Google.
According to the FTC, GoodRx’s actions broke a federal law requiring fitness trackers and health apps to alert users when their data is compromised. Despite the company agreeing to settle the case, it has refuted the accusations and insisted that it has made no admission of guilt.
The FTC claims that between 2017 and 2020, GoodRx uploaded the contact details of customers who bought specific medications to Facebook, enabling the business to locate customers’ social media profiles.
Afterward, GoodRx used this data to target users with medication ads on Facebook and Instagram. According to the FTC, GoodRx’s public pledges to “never provide advertisers any information that reveals a personal health condition.” were broken by these actions.
Google Tests AI Products in Scramble to Catch up to ChatGPT

Paul Buchheit, the creator of Gmail, has predicted that ChatGPT — which is likely to be integrated into the Bing search engine after a multi-billion dollar investment from Microsoft — could disrupt Google search within “a year or two.”
The search engine is Google’s primary source of revenue.
The success of ChatGPT, which launched in November 2022, has prompted a scramble by Google to catch up. These efforts include testing Google’s own chatbot software, LamDA, against ChatGPT, and attempts to integrate it into new search products.
Via CNBC:
The Alphabet company is working on a project under its cloud unit called “Atlas,” which is a “code red” effort to respond to ChatGPT, the large language chatbot that took the public by storm when it launched late last year.
The product tests come after a recent all-hands meeting where employees raised concerns about the company’s competitive edge in AI, given the sudden popularity of ChatGPT, which was launched by OpenAI, a San Francisco-based startup that’s backed by Microsoft.

Ukraine war: US to provide long-range missiles in latest aid package

It brings the total amount of military aid given to Ukraine to more than $29.3bn (£24.31bn) since February 2022.
The package includes ground-launched small-diameter bombs (GLSDB) which can hit targets 150km (93 miles) away.
But officials refused to be drawn on speculation that the munitions could be used to attack parts of annexed Crimea.
“When it comes to Ukrainian plans on operations, clearly that is their decision,” Pentagon spokesperson Brig Gen Pat Ryder told reporters.
“This gives them a longer-range capability, long-range fires capability, that will enable them, again, to conduct operations in defence of their country and take back their sovereign territory, Russian-occupied areas.”

Post-Pandemic Japan Sees First-in-a-Generation Crime Spike

The report tracked the number of police reports on documented crimes in addition to arrests. Among the crimes identified as seeing a significant rise in frequency were rape, child abuse, and street crimes, such as muggings and bicycle thefts.
The rates of domestic violence and child abuse hit “all-time highs,” according to a report by the Indian news site First Post.
Police also referred a record number of children to consultation centers after finding evidence of abuse.
Crime joins growing concerns surrounding schoolchildren suicides and a catastrophic fertility rate in problems previously facing Japan that have been significantly exacerbated in the wake of the pandemic.
Turkey Accuses Western Nations of ‘Psychological Warfare’ Against Country, Cites Unspecified Threat

This week, nine Western nations either closed down their consulates in Istanbul or issued travel warnings to citizens visiting Turkey, citing security threats.
The measures angered Turkey, which on Thursday summoned the countries´ ambassadors in protest. Turkey´s interior minister accused the countries of waging “psychological warfare” and attempting to wreck Turkey´s tourism industry.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu insisted that the nine countries did not share information with Turkish authorities about the alleged security threat.
His ministry has identified the nine countries as the United States, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Britain, Germany, Belgium, France and Italy.
The German Embassy this week cited the risk of possible retaliatory attacks following Quran-burning incidents in some European countries in announcing the closure of its consulate. The U.S. embassy cautioned its citizens about possible attacks against churches, synagogues and diplomatic missions as well as other places that Westerners frequent.
Canada Says It Is Monitoring ‘Potential Second Incident’ Linked to Chinese Alleged Spy Balloon

The Canadian government waded into the fray with a statement confirming that it is working “with American partners and continue to take all necessary measures to safeguard Canada’s sensitive information from foreign intelligence threats.”
It also suggested the existed of either a second Chinese alleged spy balloon or of a second incident involving the same balloon.
“Canadians are safe and Canada is taking steps to ensure the security of its airspace, including the monitoring of a potential second incident,” the Canadian Armed Forces said in a statement late Thursday.
Ottawa has yet to provide any more details regarding the “potential second incident.” Canada’s Globe and Mail reported on Friday that the Canadian government had summoned the Chinese ambassador to protest the balloon’s presence in the country – a move that, at press time, Biden has reportedly yet to make.
The Canadian newspaper of record also indicated that experts believe the same balloon over Montana may have spent significant time drifting over British Columbia, Canada, after entering Alaskan airspace.

Suspected Chinese Spy Balloon Fuels Kristi Noem’s Push to Block CCP Land Purchases in South Dakota

As Breitbart News exclusively reported in January, a coalition of special interests and industry representatives have attempted to stop Noem from passing legislation to restrict the Chinese Communist Party — or other foreign entities — from purchasing land in South Dakota“.
Protecting America is important, and that this has been a real threat to our country, and with the B21 coming to South Dakota, we are a target for exactly the kinds of activities that China is doing in other places, such as buying up land and assets and from other countries that hate us,” Noem said..
Biden slaps 20-year mining ban on Minnesota land, gives more power to China

Rep. Pete Stauber, R-Minn., called the legislation “an attack on our way of life.”
“Joe Biden banned mining in 225,000 acres of Minnesota’s Iron Range, and locked up development of taconite, copper, nickel, cobalt, platinum-group elements, and more,” Stauber also said in the committee statement. “Unfortunately, this harm to our country and our future has become the norm, as this president’s goal is to put America last.”
Policy expert Bedford agreed with the Republican lawmakers, claiming this move gives more power to China and other adversaries.
“We can no longer compete with the Chinese, who undercut our industries in the United States. It’s wild to see,” Bedford told host Maria Bartiromo. “Now, shutting down another copper mine and the waters around Minnesota… copper is something that’s pretty essential on high-powered computer chips. Copper’s something we use in our ammunition.”
All three criticized the president for continuing to push forward an “America-last” agenda.

Hunter Biden’s Lame Legal Threats Are Meant To Intimidate His Critics Into Silence

Most of the allegations publicly leveled against Hunter appear to be substantially true. He’s a con man extraordinaire and a crook.
This belief is supported by emails, photographs, text messages, witness statements, banking transactions, and other documentary evidence.
His laptop alone contains a trove of damning information about illicit schemes to sell access and promises of influence involving his powerful father. Our country’s adversaries were his treasured clients.
Like the idiot he is, Hunter recorded hundreds of gigabytes of self-incrimination. It was an act of hubris and immolation. Freud would have a field day.
Hunter has denied any lawlessness by boasting, “I’m absolutely certain, 100 percent certain, that at the end of the investigation, I will be cleared of any wrongdoing.”
His confidence is fueled by the knowledge that his father’s Department of Justice is overseeing the probe to nowhere. Daddy’s attorney general, the unprincipled Merrick Garland, refuses to recuse himself despite the glaring and disqualifying conflict of interest.
How else does one explain an investigation that has now entered its fifth year without any criminal charges? The fix is in.
This is the biggest threat to Black America. Hint: it’s not the police

For decades, the left has tried desperately to brand racism as the single biggest threat to the safety, prosperity, and progression of the Black community.
And this hasn’t been done by mistake; it has been done by intent.
It’s been done to divert attention away from reality — a reality visible to anyone not blinded by ignorance but instead driven by truth — the reality that the most serious threat to Black America is neither racism nor White supremacy.
The truth is that the most serious threat to Black America is Progressive America.
And as we step into Black History Month, this is a threat, upon reflection, that I realize is no way new but instead one that has been a constant throughout the course of American history.
It was the left that founded the Ku Klux Klan. It was the left that fought to preserve the institution of slavery. It was the left that sought to relegate my Black great-grandparents to the back of the bus.
And it was the left that founded Planned Parenthood — an institution responsible for the extermination of millions of Black unborn babies.
