Keeping Quiet About Murdered Christians

Despite horrendous killings of Christians in Nigeria, the Biden Administration won’t label Nigeria a “country of concern”.

In the U.S., church attacks and bombings of crisis pregnancy centers are going ignored too. There’s a pattern here.

Madison Metropolitan School District will work to inform young students about gender identity, sex assigned at birth, and sexual orientation, an email obtained by the DCNF revealed.

The email reads “The goal is for students to understand the difference between gender, sexual orientation and sex assigned at birth.” It also goes on to note “Students are NOT being asked to share their specific identities for each of these components, rather just acknowledging that they exist and are different and how to show respect for all identities.”

The school district is providing “Health and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Lessons” rooted in the “Welcoming Schools” program, which was created by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRCF). The HRCF is a leftist, LGBT activist organization.

‘Heinous crimes’: Youth pastor, firefighter, and high school teacher among nearly 50 arrested in Texas prostitution sting

Although the names of the 46 suspects have not been released, the Lewisville Independent School District confirmed Marcus High School teacher and football coach Cecil Tim Morrison was among them.

Reports state that nearly a dozen law enforcement agencies took part in the two-day operation Jan. 12-13, 2023, in Frisco, Texas.

The men in question would make arrangements online to go to the Hilton at Southlake Town Square or the Hyatt Regency hotel, with the intent to then solicit prostitution.

In Texas, soliciting prostitution is a felony, punishable by up to two years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.

“The victims of these heinous crimes are treated like commodities, used to make as much money as possible, as quickly as possible,” said Tarrant County Sheriff Bill Waybourn.

Louisiana judge in Madi Brooks rape case blasted as ‘inappropriate’

Legal experts have blasted a judge for making ‘inappropriate comments’ while deciding on bond for the four defendants charged in connection with the rape of LSU student Madi Brooks.

The 19-year-old died after being hit by a ride-share car at 3am on January 15, when she was dropped off by four men who had picked her up at a college bar.

A lawyer representing the men argued that a video one of his clients had shot, showing Madi slurring her words after the alleged assault, would prove the innocence of the accused.

But Louisiana Judge Brad Myers said that the ‘evidence was clear’ and showed proof of criminality – with the men ‘callously’ laughing at Madi.

The CEO of legal services company DoNotPay tweeted about it in January. Joshua Browder wrote “On February 22nd at 1.30PM, history will be made. For the first time ever, a robot will represent someone in a US courtroom. DoNotPay A.I will whisper in someone’s ear exactly what to say. We will release the results and share more after it happens. Experts say there are pros and cons to this idea.

“I can see some benefits of having tools that can assist people as they go to court for traffic tickets and other violations because, unfortunately, access to justice is a real problem in our society,” said Lee Tiedrich, a visiting professor of the practice of law at Duke University School of Law.

On the other hand, she said there are some risks. Bots don’t have an education and they’re not like a lawyer, who is subject to certain ethical guidelines.

Earlier this week, unconfirmed reports citing anonymous sources said that the United States was poised to send dozens of its top battle tank to Ukraine after saying for months that it would not be deployed in the country.

Since the start of the conflict, Ukraine’s government has asked for battle tanks from Western powers amid protracted fighting in the eastern portion of the country.

Lab leak fears deepen: Audit finds NIH did not keep tabs on Wuhan lab

The NIH was blasted today by an official watchdog for failing to keep tabs on US-sponsored virus experiments in China, which are feared to have caused the Covid crisis.

A report by the US Office of Inspector General found the country’s medical research agency did not properly review whether the tests in Wuhan involved dangerous pathogens with pandemic potential.

The federal audit looked at three taxpayer-funded research grants awarded to the now-notorious EcoHealth Alliance, run by British scientist Peter Daszak, between 2014 and 2021.

It found the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and EcoHealth failed to ‘understand the nature of the research conducted, identify potential problem areas, and take corrective action’.

‘With improved oversight, NIH may have been able to take more timely corrective actions to mitigate the inherent risks associated with this type of research,’ the report added.

He also asked other governments to stop deporting Haitians back to their impoverished, sick, and violent island.

“The people of Haiti are suffering the worst human rights and humanitarian emergency in decades,” Guterres said, citing gang violence as the leading cause.

Guterres said Haitian police were losing the war against gangs because they are outnumbered, underfunded, and corrupt. He noted “allegations that a significant number of national police” are affiliated with the gangs they are supposed to be fighting.

A panel of international scientists has warned that humanity’s continued existence is more threatened than ever before. The Doomsday Clock has been set to 90 seconds to midnight, the closest it has been since it was established in 1947. The clock illustrates global existential threats at the dawn of the nuclear weapons age. The panel explained the risk was greater largely as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. University professor Steve Fetter said: ‘Putin has repeatedly raised the spectre of nuclear use.’

Taiwan’s military detected four Chinese aircraft and three naval vessels near the island nation on Jan. 25, Taiwan’s defense ministry said, just two days after President Tsai Ing-wen wrote a letter to Pope Francis.

The Chinese military aircraft and naval vessels were detected at around 6 a.m. (local time). Still, there was no trace of the aircraft crossing the Taiwan Strait median line or Taiwan’s airspace, according to the ministry.

Taiwan’s military responded by deploying aircraft, navy vessels, and land-based missile systems to monitor the Chinese military’s activities.

After weeks of hesitation that saw growing impatience among Germany’s allies, Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced Wednesday that his government would provide Ukraine with Leopard 2 battle tanks and approve requests by other countries to do the same.

In a statement, the German government said it would initially provide Ukraine with one company of Leopard 2 A6 tanks, which comprises 14 vehicles, from its own stocks. The goal is for Germany and its allies to provide Ukraine with a total of two battalions, or 88 tanks.

“This decision follows our well-known line of supporting Ukraine to the best of our ability,” Scholz said after a Cabinet meeting in Berlin.

The Biden administration asked Israel for the old Hawk anti-aircraft missiles it has in storage in order to transfer them to Ukraine, three Israeli and U.S. officials told Axios.

Israel has so far rejected most U.S. and Ukrainian requests to provide advanced and defensive weaponry to Ukraine over concerns that such a move could create tensions with Russia and harm Israeli security interests in Syria.

The Israeli Defense Ministry reiterated to Axios in a statement that the “position of the Israel security establishment [on giving military aid to Ukraine] hasn’t changed. Every request is being reviewed on a case-by-case basis.”

GENEVA (AP) — A parliamentary panel in Switzerland has recommended waiving a law that bars countries from re-exporting Swiss armored vehicles, weapons and other war materiel to Ukraine for its defense against Russia, insisting the move would not violate the country’s much-vaunted neutrality.

The Security Policy Committee of the lower house of Switzerland’s parliament voted 14-11 Tuesday to allow an re-export exception for cases involving a use of force that violates international law — notably, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine 11 months ago.

And many would say, immoral. Not so, the two couples in this story told Peter Overton. They claim they’re just ordinary folk, normal happy families.

New member of the U.S. Committee on Oversight and Accountability Rep. Tim Burchett wants to crack down on recent classified document chaos by creating legislation for a tracking system for the protected files.

“This is what I’m going to work on, is trying to get a system in place for classified documents where we know where they are, there’s a tracer, there’s a documentation of where they are, and there are levels of classified documents, just like anything else,” Burchett told Scripps News. “And with some of those documents, I feel like there should be a personal handler that should be there, when whoever the president, vice president, whoever is looking at them.”

Burchett explained from his own experience as a former mayor, he did understand how classified documents can get mistakenly packed up and stored without anyone noticing.

Chris Hipkins was sworn in Wednesday as New Zealand’s 41st prime minister, following the unexpected resignation last week of Jacinda Ardern.

Hipkins, 44, has promised a back-to-basics approach focusing on the economy and what he described as the “pandemic of inflation.”

He will have less than nine months before contesting a tough general election, with opinion polls indicating his Labour Party is trailing its conservative opposition.

New Zealand’s head of state is Britain’s King Charles III, and Kiro is his representative in New Zealand, although these days the nation’s relationship with the monarchy is largely symbolic.

AZ election integrity: Hobbs allegedly withheld evidence in Hamadeh trial, AG changes election unit

Former Arizona Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Wright, who served in the civil division of the office’s election integrity unit under former Attorney General Mark Brnovich, joined GOP attorney general nominee Abe Hamadeh’s lawsuit against Hobbs and Mayes last week and argues that Hobbs didn’t provide evidence in Hamadeh’s trial last month.

Hamadeh’s lawsuit alleges that multiple Arizona counties inaccurately counted votes in the attorney general election and requests that “all ballots read as undervotes” be inspected.

After a Mohave County Superior Court judge dismissed his and the Republican National Committee’s election challenge on Dec. 23, Hamadeh filed a motion earlier this month for a new trial.

In a Dec. 21 report to then-Secretary of State Katie Hobbs regarding the recount, Pinal County admitted finding a 507-vote variance between the certified election count and the recount. The recount totals weren’t announced until Dec. 29 by Maricopa County Superior Court.
