An illegal immigrant received five consecutive life sentences on Friday for the brutal 2018 murder of three Americans.

The illegal immigrant murderer previously dodged deportation as a recipient of the “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals” program.

Mexican national Luis Perek, 27, shot and killed his former roommates Steven Marler and Aaron Hampton on November 1, 2018, and injured two others in Springfield, Missouri, according to The Blaze.

The following day, Perez murdered Sabrina Starr, 21, who provided him with the weapon he used in the first two murders.

Perez’s co-defendant, Nyadia Burden, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder for giving Perez the bullets he used in the slayings.

Two others also have pending charges related to the murders: Dalia Garcia is accused of tampering with evidence for allegedly burning clothing worn during the crimes and Aaron Anderson is facing a charge of accessory to murder.

The robbery suspect killed was identified as 30-year-old Eric Eugene Washington.

At the time of his death, Washington had a prior conviction for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, FOX 26 Houston reported. Records also show Washington had a further criminal history and was out on bond at the time of the shooting, KTRK-TV reported.

GM, Ford, and Google join forces to scale up ‘virtual power plants’

Major companies, including GMFordGoogle, and solar energy producers, announced Tuesday that they would work together on a new project to establish standards for scaling up virtual power plants in the United States, an effort to help ease loads on the nation’s electric grid during periods of peak demand.

The virtual power plants pool together thousands of decentralized energy management sources, such as electric vehicle batteries or electric heaters controlled by smart thermostats, to help grids remain supplied during periods of peak demand.

As part of the new Virtual Power Plant Partnership, also known as VP3, companies will also seek to promote policies that utilize the virtual power plant system.

Tesla has launched similar efforts in California, Texas, Australia, and, most recently, Japan.

WEST CHESTER, PA — A former teacher at West Chester Christian School was sentenced by Chester County Judge Patrick Carmody to 20 to 40 years in state prison for sexually assaulting a first-grader in 2007 to 2008.

Randy Boston, 65, of Shickshinny, was convicted by a jury in August of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors, and related charges by a jury in August 2022.

“Randy Boston used his position of power and trust to abuse this child for his own depraved sexual gratification,” District Attorney Deb Ryan said. “He preyed upon an innocent and defenseless child, and as a result, deprived this victim of a normal childhood.”

Ryan said the victim showed tremendous bravery for coming forward.

‘I was completely enchained and bonded to the devil,’ the singer said.

Kaya Jones, a former singer for The Pussycat Dolls, said the abortions she had when she was younger still haunt her to this day.

Jones told Christine Yeargin, host of Students for Life’s “Speak Out” podcast, that she’d had three abortions before she turned her life around and started following Jesus Christ.

She explained how she had her first abortion as a teenager when her birth control medication failed. She recalled how she became pregnant again while in the Pussycat Dolls and was told to “get rid of it.”

“I’ve gone through it all. I will assure you, you will regret it your whole life. Nothing – even if I become a mother tomorrow and happily married and all is well, I’m still going to regret the three children I did not have,” she said.

Jones said she was compelled by “the Holy Spirit” to share her story about abortion regret.

Liberal media roasted for excusing Biden document scandal: ‘When will the FBI raid his home?’

The Washington Post and CBS rushed to defend President Biden after classified documents were found at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington, D.C., while Twitter users asked why former President Trump’s home was raided for similar allegations.

The Washington Post released this tweet to try and frame the situation for its readers:

“The case will likely draw comparisons to Mar-a-Lago but appears quite different. Officials have said the Trump investigation concerns not just the possible mishandling of classified documents, but possible obstruction of justice or destruction of records.”

But Twitter was not as convinced of Biden’s innocence, with multiple members of Congress, journalists and influencers calling out the double standard between Biden and Trump.

COVID: Who Was Right?

After 3 years of Covid, what lessons can we learn? Did lockdowns work? What about closing schools? What countries did best?

It turns out that America’s lockdowns did NOT work.

Even though the media praised New York governor Andrew Cuomo for an “amazing job,” accounting for age, his state ended up with more deaths than “irresponsible” Florida.

Meanwhile, some countries, like Australia, imposed brutal lockdowns.

My producer crunched the numbers at MaximumTruth.Substack.com and found that lockdowns DID save some lives. But they weren’t worth it. The video above explains why.

Italian DeSantis? Anger as PM Meloni Sends Migrants to Cities Run by Leftist Mayors

Roberto Serra – Iguana Press/Getty Images

Alongside the new regulations for migrant “taxi” ships as part of a recent security decree, the Meloni government has begun to direct vessels picking up migrants in the Mediterranean to ports further away from the search and rescue (SAR) area, often to cities run by leftist mayors.

The new policy has sparked protests from the left-establishment Democratic Party (PD) and the city mayors themselves, arguing the measures are “punitive” despite the supposed benefits of diversity and immigration, Il Giornale reports.

Wanda Ferro, the undersecretary at Italy’s Interior Ministry, responded to the protests from the left, saying:

“The left protests because NGO ships are finally disembarking in other regions of central Italy and no longer only in the South. Evidently, on the left, they would like to transform Calabria and Sicily into the refugee camp of Europe, a completely unacceptable prospect.”

The standoff between police and protesters followed a regional court’s decision Monday rejecting a last-ditch attempt by the activists to stay in the hamlet of Luetzerath, west of Cologne, which has become a battleground between the government and environmentalists.

About 300 people refused to heed the ruling arguing that civil disobedience at the site was justified in the face of the climate crisis.

Utility company RWE wants to extract the coal beneath Luetzerath, which it says is necessary to ensure energy security in Germany.

The company reached a deal with the regional government last year that allows the village to be destroyed in return for ending coal use by 2030, rather than 2038.

Report: China Exporting Weapons and Mercenaries to Africa

UPI
UPI

The report, entitled Mapping Chinese and Russian Military and Security Exports to Africatracked Chinese weapons sales to 17 African nations, plus deployments of private military and security contractors (PMSCs) to 15 countries.

Five of those nations also receive military support from Russia, including Angola, the Central African Republic (CAR), Ethiopia, Mali, and Sudan.

Some of those countries are noted for using their imported weapons with enthusiasm, including Ethiopia’s vicious civil war over the past two years, Mali’s conquest by a military junta in 2020, and Sudan’s long history of using military force against restless citizens.

The RAND report noted the interesting detail that every one of the 15 African nations where Chinese PMSCs have been deployed has also received Russian PMSCs. These countries tend to be conflict zones whose governments are having difficulty combating long-running insurgencies, such as Libya, Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and Malawi.

China has stopped issuing short-term entry visas to South Korean nationals, it announced on Tuesday, in retaliation against Seoul’s heightened COVID-19 testing requirements for Chinese travelers.

The Chinese Embassy in South Korea made the announcement on the WeChat messaging platform, citing instructions from Beijing.

The suspension will be adjusted when South Korea “cancels its discriminatory entry restrictions against China,” the post said.

Chinese state media on Tuesday confirmed the policy, which is Beijing’s first retaliatory measure against countries that have imposed new travel regulations on its citizens.

Russian forces and their Wagner mercenary group allies advanced to the town of Soledar, Ukraine after months of heavy fighting around the city of Bakhmut, British officials said Tuesday.

“In the last four days, Russian and Wagner forces have made tactical advances into the small Donbas town of Soledar and are likely in control of most of the settlement,” the British Ministry of Defense tweeted.

The town of Soledar, in the eastern Donetsk region, is home to salt mines with massive tunnels that could be used to infiltrate positions on both sides.

“Part of the fighting has focused on entrances to the 200km-long disused salt mine tunnels, which run underneath the district. Both sides are likely concerned they could be used for infiltration behind their lines,” the ministry said.

Judicial Watch’s Guide to Congressional Investigations

At Judicial Watch, we run our own investigations and have been holding government officials, Democrat and Republican, accountable for nearly three decades, but we’ll be closely watching the House probes.

Republican staff on the House Judiciary Committee earlier released a “road map” to the new investigative agenda, and over at the Senate, ranking Judiciary Committee member Charles Grassley has been digging deep into FBI corruption, releasing letters outlining serious allegations of wrongdoing.

We’ve reviewed all the documents and talked to our sources. Here’s our guide to the new Congressional investigations.

The articles of impeachment against Mayorkas for “high crimes and misdemeanors,” known as House Resolution 8, were introduced by Fallon in the House on Monday and have been referred to the House Judiciary Committee.

Last week, Fallon vowed to file impeachment articles against Mayorkas after the Congress was sworn in.

The effort from Republicans in the House is one of many that the new GOP majority will take as it works to fight the Biden administration on issues related to immigration and the southern border crisis.
