Michigan school board appoints ‘unhinged’ 23-year-old LGBTQ+ trustee who self-describes as having ‘several mental illnesses’
Dryden Community School Board in Michigan just appointed their youngest-ever trustee, Carl Austin Miller Grondin, at age 23 and parents are outraged over his disturbing online presence.
Parents aren’t upset about his age, but rather over his antics.
Active on TikTok and Instagram, Grondin describes himself as “chaotic evil” and “unhinged” while posting pictures and videos filled with, offensive language and sexually inappropriate attire.
In a recent article about the appointment, Grondin said, “I want to be the person I never saw growing up in Dryden as the only openly LGBT kid…
A ton of the administrators like (Dryden Junior/Senior High School principal and district superintendent) Mary Finnigan were constantly encouraging me and were great, but my experience would have been even better if I saw someone like me to look up to.”

Rally was eventually called off, citing safety concerns.

48,000 University of California Academic Workers on Strike
The strike by researchers, postdoctoral scholars, tutors, teaching assistants and graders threatens to disrupt classroom and laboratory instruction across the statewide university system just weeks ahead of final exams in December.
Picket lines went up at 8 a.m., with workers saying they need significant pay raises to afford to live in cities like Los Angeles, San Diego and Berkeley where housing costs are soaring.
The students and employees involved are represented by the United Auto Workers. Rafael Jaime, president of UAW Local 2865, which represents 19,000 of the 48,000 academic workers, joined protesters at UC San Diego.
Demonstrators were also out in force at UC campuses in Santa Cruz, Merced, Santa Barbara, and Irvine. Some 300,000 student attend the 10 schools that make up one of the nation’s most prestigious state university systems.
Educators ‘know better than anyone’ what kids ‘need to learn and thrive’ says teachers’ union that called for school closures
The largest national teachers’ union in the country took to social media over the weekend to reaffirm its contempt for parents and taxpayers.
In a Saturday tweet, the National Education Association (NEA) suggested that the same people who advocated for stultifying school closures, masking, and the use of experimental vaccines in children “know better than anyone.”
The NEA represents 3 million “educators,” including public school teachers, staffers at colleges and universities, and aspiring indoctrinaires.
More than just a teachers’ union, the NEA is a partisan force that doesn’t simply seek to “advance the cause of public education,” but supports abortion; amnesty for illegal aliens; gun bans; race-based admissions and hiring; LGBTQ activist-dictated pronoun use; statehood for the District of Columbia; making race the crux of all educational considerations; and BLM.
The tweet was met with fierce criticism.
Corey A. DeAngelis, a senior fellow at American Federation for Children and executive director of the Educational Freedom Institute, replied, “They aren’t your kids.”
DeAngelis posted a survey posing the question, “Who knows best[?]” and respondents made clear it’s not the NEA, with nearly 99% of over 4,400 respondents answering “parents.”
Turning Point USA contributor Lauren Chen wrote, “Please keep telling parents that you know better how to raise their children. Seriously, keep going. School choice is getting a huge boost nationwide and I feel like we have you to thank for it.”
Federal Court Blocks Biden’s Student Loan Forgiveness Nationwide
The U.S. Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals ordered a nationwide injunction pending appeal against President Joe Biden’s student loan debt forgiveness program Monday, adding to previous legal action blocking the plan.
Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas and South Carolina had filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration in late September over the program, and the court issued a stay on the debt cancellation last month before granting an emergency motion for the injunction Monday.
“The injunction will remain in effect until further order of this court or the Supreme Court of the United States,” a three-judge panel of the court said.
Princeton to offer course on ‘Black + Queer’ bondage
Princeton University will host a course this spring on “Black + Queer” bondage and sado-maschochism, drawing concern from some students who argue the class is a thinly veiled attempt to celebrate and venerate the BDSM culture.
The Ivy League course, “Black + Queer in Leather: Black Leather/BDSM Material Culture,” explores “Black Queer BDSM communities,” according to the course catalog description.
“Black Queer BDSM material culture resists contextualization in relationship to biographical narratives because of the underground elements of the community,” according to an alternate description on the Princeton Lewis Center for the Arts website, which added it will have “a significant research focus on finding and presenting new materials.”

The Colombian migrants told Breitbart Texas they left their home more than a month ago and are hoping to be released into the United States while they pursue asylum.
The family group consisted of a pair of brothers, their wives, and a small child.
The group can be seen crossing the Rio Grande in an area where Border Patrol marine units typically launch patrol vessels during the day.

Missing California mother of two found dead, ex-husband in custody: police
Rachel Castillo, 25, was reported missing Thursday after her sister, Emily Castillo, arrived at the home they share and found a “significant amount of blood,” according to the Simi Valley Police Department.
Although Rachel had vanished, her personal belongings, including her cellphone, car keys and car, were still at the house, police said.
“Detectives located human remains of an adult female in a remote location within the Antelope Valley,” said police, adding that the medical examiner had identified the body as the missing mother.
Zarbab Ali, the father of her two sons, ages 2 and 5, was taken into custody.

The residents of the home did not open the door, which caused the deputies to force their way into the home. Once inside, they noted that the house was in total disarray – a TV was destroyed, laptops crushed and ripped apart, kitchen items strewn around the home, children’s bedroom furniture thrown around, and clothes scattered everywhere.
Deputies discovered Christopher Andrighetti, 39, hiding inside a bedroom closet. He was covered in blood from self-inflicted lacerations. Police searched the house and found a child hiding inside another closet. They also encountered Andrighetti’s 14-year-old daughter.
Police said the daughter told her mother that the father had created a secret social media account, and she suspected Andrighetti of having an affair.
Law enforcement said that when Andrighetti found out that he was allegedly outed for cheating, he “violently beat” his daughter.

Maybe Trump was right about TikTok
Here’s something you rarely hear a Democratic senator say: “Donald Trump was right.”
But that’s what Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) is saying now, and it’s all because of TikTok, the popular video app that Trump tried to ban in the waning months of his presidency.
“As painful as it is for me to say, if Donald Trump was right and we could’ve taken action then, that’d have been a heck of a lot easier than trying to take action in November of 2022,” Warner told Recode. “The sooner we bite the bullet, the better.”
Warner is the chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, and his problems with TikTok are more than shared by his Republican counterpart, committee vice chair Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL). Rubio’s been sounding the alarm about TikTok since 2019 — before Trump, even — and he’s still doing it now. He recently co-authored an op-ed in the Washington Post that called for the app to be banned, and he’s planning to introduce a bill that would do just that.

President Joe Biden was not delivering the appropriate messages during his summit on Monday with Chinese leader Xi Jinping in Bali, China expert Gordon Chang told Newsmax.

Conservative groups push Senate to delay leadership elections as frustration with McConnell grows
Fifty-nine people representing high-profile conservative groups signed the letter joining eight Senate Republicans in demanding a delay in their leadership elections, scheduled for Wednesday.
There are also some House Republicans dissatisfied with Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., calling to delay their Tuesday elections, who the letter’s signers also voiced support for. But it’s a smaller group in proportion to the overall conference.
“The Republican Party needs leaders who will confidently and skillfully present a persuasive coherent version of who we are, what we stand for, and what we will do,” the letter says. “Many current elections are still undecided. There should be no rushed leadership elections.”
Sens. Rick Scott,.R-Fla., Marco Rubio, R-Fla., Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., Cynthia Lummis, R-Wyo., Mike Lee, R-Utah, Ted Cruz, R-Texas, Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Josh Hawley, R-Mo., are the Republicans so far who have called to delay the Senate GOP elections.
“The old party is dead. Time to bury it,” Hawley said in a weekend tweet.
Republican Leadership Worse than Worthless
Part of the many reasons for this spectacular failure is the excessive amount of help Republican “leadership” gave to the Democrats.
Republicans have brilliantly supported the Democrat push for early voting and mail-in ballots that even Jimmy Carter’s commission concluded is ripe for cheating, and which the Democrats have used since the pandemic to defeat Republicans.
Apparently, this never occurred to Republican leaders who went along with it all.
In the aftermath of the Uvalde massacre, caused primarily by the failures of school officials and the local police, Mitch McConnell and ten other Republicans — John Cornyn (TX), Thom Tillis (NC), Roy Blunt (MS), Rob Portman (OH), Lindsey Graham (SC), Richard Burr (NC), Pat Toomey (PA), Susan Collins (ME), Mitt Romney (UT) and Bill Cassidy (LA) — all eager to virtue-signal and show how much they care, agreed to the Democrat framework for gun control, not understanding that the problem of gun violence in America is a moral problem rooted in the destruction of the family, the proliferation of drugs, thugs and a “gang culture” in which rebellion and violence are glorified; not a problem with the inanimate hardware per se.
In the run-up to the 2022 election, Mitch McConnell came out, and naturally not in private where it would be most appropriate, but rather in public to provide the Democrats a great talking point, and disparaged many of the Republican senate candidates as “bad candidates.”
One of those ‘terrible’ candidates, J.D. Vance, just won handily in Ohio and another, Arizona’s Blake Masters, who yesterday, was closely behind his Democrat opponent — Masters sure could have used some of the money McConnell sent to Alaska to defeat a Trump-Republican.
That race has since been called in favor of radical leftist, Mark Kelly. McConnell seems more interested in defeating Trump-affiliated firebrands than he is in defeating Democrats.

UN General Assembly Calls for Russian Reparations to Ukraine
The U.N. General Assembly approved a resolution Monday calling for Russia to be held accountable for violating international law by invading Ukraine including by paying reparations.
The vote in the 193-member world body was 94-14 with 73 abstentions. It was the lowest level of support of the five Ukraine-related resolutions adopted by the General Assembly since Russia’s Feb. 24 invasion of its smaller neighbor.
The resolution recognizes the need to establish “an international mechanism for reparation for damage, loss or injury’” arising from Russia’s “wrongful acts” against Ukraine.

Farage Vindicated? EU will Set Up First ‘Rapid Deployment’ Military Force by 2025, Claims Report
In what appears to be the most concrete development in the EU’s desire to have its own military, lawmakers in Brussels are reportedly in the concrete planning stage for establishing a 5,000-man “rapid deployment” military intervention force, a report has claimed.
Eurofederalists across the continent have been eyeing the creation of such a force for some time, and the potential formation of a European military force was a key feature of Britain’s 2016 decision to withdraw from the European Union. When Brexit leaders like Nigel Farage warned of the hard-Eurofederalist direction of the bloc they were dismissed as believing in “a dangerous fantasy”, yet Farage is being vindicated on the point — once again.
According to a report by the German newspaper Die Welt, an agreement on the creation of the force is expected to be reached as early as Tuesday, with it set to be granted competency for “evacuation” and “stabilisation” missions.

Ukraine: Zelensky Proclaims ‘Beginning of the End of the War’ in Formerly Occupied Kherson
Russian officials confirmed that Moscow’s troops had moved out of Kherson late last week, claiming the move necessary to reinforce defensive positions and ensure the safety of the troops in that region. The Ukrainian government has embraced the recovery of Kherson as a turning point in the war due to its strategic position near occupied Crimea and the fact that it was one of the four regions Russian leader Vladimir Putin “annexed” in late September.
Putin announced at the time that Kherson would formally become part of the Russian Federation alongside Zaporizhzhia and the two regions of the Donbas, Donetsk and Luhansk, in a rambling speech condemning the West as “Satanic” and stating that invading Ukraine was necessary to protect children from transgender propaganda.
The English-language coverage of Zelensky’s visit to Kherson on Monday in the state outlet Ukrinform and at the site of the office of the president appeared to omit his proclamation that the war was nearing its end. The Associated Press nonetheless quoted Zelensky as making the prediction.
The president’s office, publishing a readout of Zelensky’s visit, noted he described the expulsion of Russian troops from Kherson as a step towards complete “peace.”

With many communities, even small villages, complaining of having large numbers of unvetted migrants rammed into sometimes luxurious hotels in their midst at the taxpayers’ expense with little or zero consultation or consideration for the impact on public services, the Conservative Party government needs new ways to host the ever-increasing flood of migrants illegally entering Britain.
While once it considered such facilities as disused British Army barracks, it is now considering venues including cruise ships and holiday parks — a measure Robert Jenrick, a junior minister at the Home Office led by Suella Braverman, is trying to sell as tough love, despite it being something regular citizens would pay for as a form of recreation.
“Human decency has to be accompanied by hard-headed common sense: illegal immigrants are not entitled to luxury hotels. Conditions in the UK are almost always better than in neighbouring countries, which helps explain why the UK is a destination of choice for economic migrants on the continent ‘asylum shopping’,” — Jenrick argued — as if hosting new arrivals on cruise ships, as the Scottish government did with some actual refugees from Ukraine and in holiday parks such as Pontins would be “hard-headed” rather another form of largesse.

Migrants Clash With French Police in Dunkirk as They Try to Reach Britain
Footage filmed by Mark White of GB News showed violent scenes break out on in the municipality of Gravelines, near Dunkirk on Saturday.
Hundreds of prospective illegal Channel boat migrants — many already wearing life jackets — were seen trying to repel French police by throwing rocks and sticks at the officers, who in turn fired tear gas towards the group.
The tensions reportedly flared up after French Compagnies républicaines de sécurité (CRS) officers had slashed inflatable life boats on the coast and prevented other migrants from setting sail to the UK.
