‘It’s traumatizing’: 4 found dead at Oak Forest home after barricade situation, fire
When police arrived they found two victims with gunshot wounds in the driveway and a third victim in the roadway south of the home.
Police pulled the victims into their squad cars and transferred them to a safer location to render aid. The victims were then taken to a local hospital where they were treated and later died.
A child was sent out of the home and evacuated, according to officials. A short time later, officers on the scene saw smoke coming from the home and flames appearing in the front window.
Neighbors heard multiple gunshots and screaming around 6:30 a.m. They also said there have been multiple domestic issues at the home.

Justin Washington, 25, was promised a plum 30-day jail sentence, along with five years of probation, after he agreed in August to plead down to a charge of coercion in his Manhattan rape case.
But just a week before he was set to be sentenced Wednesday, Washington allegedly went on a sex-crime spree, attacking four women and a man near the homeless shelter where he was living in the Bronx.
“How does a man who rapes an innocent teenage girl walk the streets to sexually attack [five] more innocent [people], including a homeless woman?” one Manhattan cop fumed.

(The Center Square) – More “damaging testimony” has been obtained about Biden administration immigration enforcement policies, Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody said after she released another transcript of another top federal official her office deposed as part of a lawsuit she filed against the administration.
Moody’s office recently deposed Corey Price, Immigration and Customs Enforcement executive associate director for Enforcement and Removal Operations.
Under oath, Price testified that ICE agents under the Biden administration are removing seven times fewer people who entered the U.S. illegally in the past year than the agency did 10 years ago.
ICE is detaining only about half the number of people it did during the Trump administration and 40% less the number of people who entered the U.S. illegally now than it did during the last border surge in 2019.
Instead of detaining and processing for removal foreign nationals who enter the U.S. illegally, ICE agents are releasing them into the U.S., he said.

Descano’s office has released or dropped charges on four offenders this year who have gone on to kill. In June, Descano released a violent repeat offender on probation who later beat an elderly homeless woman to death.
The left-wing billionaire George Soros donated over half-a-million dollars to Descano’s campaign as part of a nationwide push to elect progressive prosecutors. Many Soros-backed prosecutors have since eliminated bail and released offenders before trial in an effort to reduce incarceration.
Virginia attorney general Jason Miyares (R.) told the Washington Free Beacon that “the Fairfax commonwealth’s attorney must do his job and fight for justice for victims, not criminals.”
“Routinely giving repeat offenders light sentences and allowing them to quickly return to Virginia’s streets is not only disrespectful to the victims of violent crime, but encourages more crime and creates more victims,” Miyares said.

According to Jordan’s letter, a whistleblower notified him and other members that the upper management at the FBI’s Washington, D.C., field office was “pressuring agents” to reclassify cases that did not meet the criteria for “domestic violent extremism” to boost the Biden’s political narrative.

The Labor Department inspector general announced Thursday that fraudsters and criminal gangs had plundered nearly $46 billion in bogus unemployment claims during the pandemic, while warning that the actual total may climb higher.
The $46 billion is a staggering $30 billion higher than the previous fraud estimate the Labor Department provided last June, which concluded $16 billion had been stolen.
The criminals who had been keeping so busy tapped myriad fraudulent streams to bilk the system, including bogus email accounts and Social Security numbers of dead people and of federal prisoners ineligible for unemployment benefits.
About 205,000 Social Security numbers that apparently belonged to zombies were used to secure claims, the inspector general’s report revealed. Another million or so Social Security numbers were used by people who illegally filed for benefits in two or more states, resulting in nearly $29 billion siphoned from more than one state.

Colombia’s former President Duque warns cocaine legalization will cause ‘major’ US security threat
Colombia’s former President Ivan Duque warned that his successor’s calls to change course on the war on drugs would turn Colombia into a “narco state” that could threaten the security of the United States and other countries “in the hemisphere.”
“Now, what worries me is that there is now the possibility of getting into the permission, or the legalization of cocaine and consumption,” Duque, who had been in New York to attend the Concordia Summit, told Fox News Digital. “I think that it will be very bad for Colombia and that will be very bad for the countries in the hemisphere, and I think that could generate also a major security threat to the United States.”
Duque, who left office in August, continued: “So by no means I’m in favor of the legalization of the cocaine trade … But I also have to say it, Colombia cannot turn into a narco state. German city to push ‘diversity’ by reserving a third of all jobs for migrants
Germany’s Greens in the city of Hanover are proposing to reserve a third of the city’s jobs exclusively for migrants in the name of “diversity,” effectively barring ethnic Germans from the positions.
As part of the broader, ongoing push for “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI), the city’s ruling Greens have devised a plan to establish Hanover as an “immigration city,” part of which calls for at least a third of the city’s newly advertised jobs to be filled by applicants with migrant backgrounds by the end of 2026.
“A green mayor makes the difference,” wrote Filiz Polat, managing director of the Greens, who is referencing Hanover Mayor Belit Onay, who took office in November 2019. Both Polat and Onay are of Turkish heritage.
