Chair Of The Lancet’s Covid-19 Commission Believes The U.S. Government Is Preventing An Investigation Into The Pandemic

Current Affairs is reporting that, “Prof. Jeffrey Sachs is the Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University and the President of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network. He has also served as the chair of the COVID-19 commission for leading medical journal the Lancet.

Through his investigations as the head of the COVID-19 commission, Prof. Sachs has come to the conclusion that there is extremely dangerous biotechnology research being kept from public view, that the United States was supporting much of this research, and that it is very possible that SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19,  originated through dangerous virus research gone awry.

He believes that there is clear proof that the National Institutes of Health and many members of the scientific community have been impeding a serious investigation of the origins of COVID-19 and deflecting attention away from the hypothesis that risky U.S.-supported research may have led to millions of deaths.

If that hypothesis is true, the implications would be earth-shaking, because it might mean that esteemed members of the scientific community bore responsibility for a global calamity.

He also explains why it is so important to get to the bottom of the origins of COVID: because, he says, there is extremely dangerous research taking place with little accountability, and the public has a right to know since we are the ones whose lives are being put at risk without our consent.”

Border crisis laid bare: Eerie night vision footage shows more than 500 people marching into Texas over one night – while 2,500 miles away liberal Martha’s Vineyard melted down over just 50 migrants

Shocking night vision footage shows the moment more than 500 migrants sneaked across the southern border into Texas – despite Kamala Harris claiming it was ‘secure’.

The jaw-dropping thermal imaging video showed sprawling lines of people queuing in Mexico before slowly making their way into Eagle Pass overnight.

The three huge groups were spotted marching over rough terrain while being herded by what appeared to be a lesser number of guides.

It also makes a mockery of Vice President Harris, who earlier this week claimed in a TV interview the border was ‘secure’ and tried to blame Donald Trump’s administration for the crisis. The new video, shared by Fox News, shows streams of migrants in three long lines waiting for their chance to cross the border into the US.

The number of migrants crossing the US-Mexico border is nearing 8,000 per day, according to data obtained by NBC. DHS considers its resources to be at capacity when the number is only 5,000 per day.

Social media company Parler, which rose to prominence as a conservative alternative to Facebook and Twitter, announced plans to restructure Friday, shifting focus to provide a cloud hosting alternative to Big Tech.

The restructuring resulted in the creation of a new parent company for Parler, Parlement Technologies, with the goal of expanding beyond social media to develop new technology to advocate for the company’s free speech beliefs, Parlement Technologies announced in a press release.

The first step in this new direction is the purchase of Dynascale, a cloud company that will be able to provide website hosting, among other services, for Parler and other clients.

“Today’s acquisition of private cloud infrastructure company, Dynascale, and the formation of a new company, Parlement Technologies, solidifies Parler‘s move to offer all businesses a haven from Big Tech, whereby they can run their businesses without fear of being canceled,” Christina Cravens, a Parlement Technologies executive, said in a statement to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

A man who was arrested last week on accusations of terrorizing women and girls on a number of occasions along a popular walking trail in Virginia is an illegal alien who was previously deported, according to officials.

Juan Rodriguez Alfaro, 42, indecently exposed himself and touched the genitals of multiple females on the Washington & Old Dominion Trail in Herndon, Maggie DeBoard, chief of the Herndon Police Department (HPD), said during a Sept. 11 press briefing.

A spokesperson for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) told FOX 5 DC that Rodriguez Alfaro is an illegal alien from Honduras who has been previously deported three times, adding that the suspect may be connected to a string of at least 21 different sexual assault incidents, mainly along the popular walking trail in Virginia.

The law enforcement agency said it has filed a detainer with the FCPD so ICE would be alerted in the event Rodriguez Alfaro might be released from their custody, according to the network. The local police department has adopted policies of not cooperating with ICE.

District of Columbia Repeals Gun Ammo Limit in Bid to Settle Second Amendment Lawsuit

The District of Columbia has gotten rid of its regulation limiting how much ammunition a concealed-carry handgun permit holder may carry after a local resident sued it in federal court.

This marks the second time in under a year that the local government in the nation’s capital city has been forced to amend its gun laws after being sued by Dick Heller, a civil rights activist whose multiple lawsuits have advanced the cause of Second Amendment rights in the District of Columbia and throughout the nation.

The decision to unload the ammo regulation was not surprising, Heller told The Reload. “The surprise was the speed at which this complaint was dispelled.”

He described the District’s gun restrictions as “arbitrary” and “irrational” and argued they served to “ensure bad guys can prey on unprotected residents.”

LAPD Cop Shoots Suspect Holding a Machete

Upon their arrival at scene, the officers located the suspect and ordered him to drop his machete.
When the suspect refused, the officers broadcast a request for a back-up and followed him in their vehicle as he left the alley on a bicycle.

The officers monitored the suspect as he rode through a residential neighborhood and were joined shortly thereafter by two Valley Traffic Division units.

The suspect ultimately returned to the alley where the officers originally contacted him. As the officers continued to follow behind the suspect, he abruptly dismounted his bicycle and confronted one of the officers,

As Breitbart News estimates, the island could house about six million illegal aliens.

Democrat officials on Martha’s Vineyard immediately declared a “humanitarian crisis” even as the 50 illegal alien arrivals are a drop in the ocean compared to the nearly 6,000 border crossers and illegal aliens that American border towns are subjected to every day.

“… [Joint Base Cape Cod] can provide dedicated space for access to legal services and other essential services such as basic healthcare,” Baker said in a statement, noting that the illegal aliens will live in “dormitory-style spaces.”

Baker is also deploying about 125 members of the Massachusetts National Guard to aid the illegal aliens arriving at Joint Base Cape Cod.

Baker also claimed that Martha’s Vineyard is “not equipped to provide sustainable accommodation” to illegal aliens. Wealthy residents, though, leave their summer homes on Martha’s Vineyard in the autumn and winter months — providing excess shelter space for new arrivals.

Chandler John Cardente, 28, is now charged with enticement of a minor; committing a felony offense involving a minor while being a registered sex offender, and interstate murder-for-hire, the Justice Department said.

Cardente began communicating with the girl on social media on Dec. 3 2021 and posed as a 17-year-old boy, authorities said. The pair allegedly had sexual contact days later. Cardente was later arrested.

While being held in jail, he spoke to an unidentified person via telephone and allegedly expressed interest in killing the girl because she was a witness against him. He offered the would-be killer $200 in cash and equipment worth $1,500, federal prosecutors said.

Cardente was convicted in 2014 of first-degree child molestation and one count of third-degree sexual assault. He was later convicted of other sex offender crimes in 2019 and 2020, according to the state sex offender registry.

‘Fighting climate change’ a ‘stupid expression’: Greenpeace co-founder

So I had to leave Greenpeace at this time because they had gone from a volunteer group, basically to a business with a huge fundraising requirement for a thousand employees. We were so successful, and then they basically turned into a racket peddling junk science.

And that’s what is happening today… all these “scare stories” are about things that are either invisible like C02, radiation… then there are things that are very remote. That’s why polar bears and coral reefs are chosen as the icons for this scare story on climate change.

California mayor ‘calls foul’ as homeless people are sent to city’s hotels without notice

The mayor of a San Diego suburb sounded the alarm on “Fox & Friends” Friday about homeless people being bussed to hotels in his city without his knowledge.

El Cajon, California Mayor Bill Wells described a huge influx of homeless people, with some hotels becoming full due to the program.

“We’ve seen a huge influx of homeless people over the past couple of months. We really didn’t understand what was going on. And when we did an investigation, we found out that our hotels were even being filled with homeless through a homeless voucher program,” he explained.

Marine Corps rescinds penalties for service members seeking COVID vax religious accommodations

The U.S. Marines Corps are rolling back strict punishments for service members seeking religious exemptions to the COVID-19 vaccine, including ending involuntary terminations and delays of promotions for those refusing the shot. (iStock)

According to a new “interim guidance,” signed Sept. 14 and posted quietly online, the message “amends actions” directed toward unvaccinated Marines whose religious accommodation requests were denied and who appealed the decision.

The memo states that the amended guidance comes after a U.S. Federal District Court in Florida issued a preliminary injunction on Aug. 18 prohibiting the Marines from taking “certain actions” against those seeking religious exemptions.

The guidance says the “Marine Corps will not enforce any order to accept COVID-19 vaccination, administratively separate, or retaliate against Marines in the class for asserting statutory rights under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA).”

Dem Candidate Says Biden Is Corrupt, Son Hunter a ‘Dope Fiend’

@esrati Twitter
@esrati Twitter

“I know I’m a Democrat and everything, but do you want to tell me what Joe Biden’s done since he got elected when he was 27 years old?” said Esrati, the Democratic nominee for Ohio’s 10th Congressional District. “How does he own all those houses? How is he worth what he’s worth? I mean, yeah, a book deal here or there, but no, something isn’t right about going in and serving your country and getting to be a multimillionaire.”

Vulnerable Democratic House and Senate candidates across the country have distanced themselves from the president ahead of the midterm elections, portraying themselves to voters as independent and bipartisan politicians who aren’t afraid to challenge Biden on policy. But of Democratic congressional candidates’ criticism of Biden this cycle, Esrati’s fiery rebuke is unprecedented in its hostility.

Esrati, who made the comments during a livestream in which he responded to chat messages, suggested that Biden became wealthy through inside knowledge he used to be successful in stock trading.

Wing works at DoDEA, or Department of Defense Education Activity, which services tens of thousands of military-connected children.

Wing wrote in June 2020, “I’m exhausted with these white folx in these [professional development] sessions.”

“[T]his lady actually had the CAUdacity to say that black people can be racist too… I had to stop the session and give Karen the BUSINESS… [W]e are not the majority, we don’t have power,” she continued.”

Caudacity” is a slang term that is used to describe audacity demonstrated by White people.

“Ms. Wing is listed as an author on several progressive children’s books in a series called ‘Racial Justice In America,’” the letter said. “One book is called ‘What Is White Privilege?’ while another is ‘What Does it Mean To Defund the Police?’ The former has lines such as: “If you are White you might feel bad about hurting others or you might feel afraid to lose this privilege.”

Ken Paxton, Pam Bondi fire back at Gavin Newsom: ‘What Biden is doing is illegal’

Bondi slammed Newsom for complaining about Abbott and DeSantis bussing out illegals and said he should focus on the problems facing his own state.

“The crime rate is skyrocketing in California. He should be worried about the crime, the legitimate crime in California, not Florida and Texas and all the border states trying to protect our own citizens.”

Bondi pointed out the irony of sanctuary states complaining about the influx of migrants.

“I’m not sure how Governor Newsom can say that that’s cruel and inhumane and horrific to send people to Martha’s Vineyard. And in Massachusetts, they claim to be a sanctuary city and help people. So I would think these people would be very happy to be there.”

Bondi said Americans are “sick and tired” of the border crisis and inaction from the Biden administration.

The ambassador’s comments come one day after German defense officials pledged weapons and equipment for Ukraine as it faced backlash at home and abroad for not doing more.

Two multiple-launch rocket systems, known as MARS II, 200 missiles and 50 Dingo armored personnel carriers will be sent to Ukraine, Defense News confirmed Thursday afternoon.

Germany will also work to finalize a swap with fellow NATO member Greece that will see Berlin send Athens 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles, as Greece deploys 40 of its BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine, Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht reportedly confirmed.

The announcement is not the first time Germany has appeared to backtrack its stance on sending more aid to Ukraine after suggesting its own stocks were vulnerably low.

‘The less changes the better’: Government moves away from bespoke submarine design

Peter Jennings Strategy Consultants founder Peter Jennings says moving away from a bespoke submarine design is safer for the boats.

“The troubles we had with the French designed submarine was we took a boat that was designed to be powered with nuclear propulsion,” he told Sky News host Chris Smith.

“And then spent literally hundreds of millions of dollars making it less capable to become a conventionally powered submarine.

“The less design changes we can make the better.”

The German government said it took control of Rosneft Deutschland GmbH and RN Refining & Marketing GmbH, two companies owned up until now by multinational oil and gas company Rosneft. The government said the move would ensure continued oil production as the international community looks to cut its oil dependence on Russia.

German’s Economy Ministry said Friday the companies will be put under the control of the Federal Network Agency. The ministry also said the agency will assume control of the companies’ shares in three refineries: PCK Schwedt, MiRo and Bayernoil.

The Schwedt refinery supplies about 90% of Berlin’s fuel and Rosneft Deutschland is one of the largest oil processing companies in the country, accounting for 12% of Germany’s oil refining capacity, Reuters reported.
