The drag event, taking place at the Anderson Distillery and Grill in Roanoke, Texas was met with Protests by locals, including the group Protect Texas Kids.

In response, an armed Antifa faction attempted to intimidate the protesters:

Kris Cruz from Blaze TV was on the scene and reported that Antifa appeared to be serving as security for the drag queens, replete with ‘snipers’ on the rooftops:

Those protesting the event complained of “Vulgarity, Sexualization of Minors, and Partial Nudity”:

Shereena Webster was shot to death Aug. 18 in her Amarillo, Texas, home. Her ex-boyfriend, Erik Rivas, has been charged with her murder. (Facebook/Randall County Sheriff’s Office)

Rivas was identified as a suspect after investigators obtained home surveillance video from a neighbor, which showed him arrive at Webster’s home at 3 a.m. and remain there until at least 4:15 a.m., according to a criminal complaint obtained by FOX 17.

There were also footprints in the backyard leading to a ladder that had been propped up against Webster’s locked fence. Authorities believe he used the ladder to climb over the back fence and enter the house, the complaint says.

Investigators were able to connect the ladder to Rivas’ workplace. A manhunt ensued and Rivas was located about five hours east in Dallas the next day, where he was taken into custody, according to police.

Caba entered the store with his kids, but one of the four was in a different section of the store when the shooting broke out. Caba says the gunman came in while his family was preparing to leave.

“We started heading to the front. Then we heard I don’t know how many shots out front – six or seven. I immediately turned to my children and said, ‘Run!’ People were screaming. … it was a horrifying experience,” he told the station.

Caba said he and three of his children fled to another section of the store and left through a side exit. He said his wife had anticipated the move “by the grace and provision of God” and had already pulled up the car to that exit, yelling, “Get in the car! Get in the car!”

Caba then went back into the store to get their fourth child, who safely made it to the vehicle just as police were rushing inside the store.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A local man who was in the process of joining the far-right Proud Boys group was sentenced on Monday to serve about 4-1/2 years in prison for his role in storming the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, the Justice Department said.

Joshua Pruitt, 40, a former Washington, D.C. resident, attended a rally with the Proud Boys on the day of the attack, before he breached the Capitol grounds while wearing a tactical glove with knuckle pads.

Prosecutors said he advanced up the steps, leapt over a railing and entered on the U.S. Senate side of the building where he eventually made his way in the direction of the subway used by members of Congress and their staff to travel within the Capitol for voting.

Biden vows ‘assault weapons’ ban if Dems control Congress after midterms

During a Democratic National Committee (DNC) Grassroots Rally in Rockville, Md., Biden said he’s “determined to ban assault weapons in this country.”

“We took on the NRA, and we beat them. We just passed the first significant gun safety legislation in 30 years in this country. And I promise you, we’re not stopping here. I’m determined to ban assault weapons in this country,” Biden said.

Biden said he banned “assault weapons” before, referring to the 1994 “assault weapons” ban, which he spearheaded during his career as a Senator. When the ban expired in 2004, the Department of Justice National Institute of Justice issued a report stating that the ban did not actually reduce crime.

The report also noted that “assault weapons” were “rarely used in gun crimes before the ban.”

Full Measure: August 28, 2022 – Shorting Seniors

Shorting Seniors

Today, we begin with a report that may have you asking, who do federal agencies really serve? In this story, elderly widows are being victimized by the very agency that’s supposed to help provide them with financial security. And the only reason we know is because of one employee at the Social Security Administration who’s blowing the whistle.

Chinese Bioweapons

When it comes to the U.S. relationship with China, it’s complicated. The Chinese are an important U.S. trade partner, but also an adversary and competitor.

Our scientists are monitoring the communist nation’s work on weapons technologies that are both reason to marvel and cause for concern.

More on that from Glenn Tiffert, a China policy expert at the Hoover Institution. He says the biggest areas to watch are biotechnology and artificial-intelligence or “AI”-empowered weapons.

LAPD Officer Shoots Man Advancing Towards Him With a Knife

As the sergeant continued to give commands to Guerrero, Guerrero, still armed with the knife, ran toward the sergeant resulting in an OIS. Guerrero was struck by the sergeant’s gunfire and fell to the ground.

Guerrero was taken to a local hospital and later pronounced deceased. The knife Guerrero was armed with was recovered at the scene. The sergeant was transported to a local hospital for an injury he received from falling during the incident.

Census Bureau: 3.8 million renters will likely be evicted in the next two months — why the rental crisis keeps getting worse

For the first time ever, the median rent in the U.S. topped $2,000 a month in June — and the increases show no sign of stopping.

Those rising rents mean that households representing a total of 8.5 million people were behind on their rent at the end of August, according to Census Bureau figures. And 3.8 million of those renters say they’re somewhat or very likely to be evicted in the next two months.

The combination of soaring inflation, the end of most eviction moratoriums and rental assistance payments and an extremely low vacancy rate has pushed rents up — and many renters out.

Evictions are up, too, according to the Eviction Lab at Princeton University. In August, evictions were 52% above average in Tampa, 90% above average in Houston and 94% above average in Minneapolis-St. Paul.

WASHINGTON, Aug 29 (Reuters) – The U.S. Justice Department’s search of former President Donald Trump’s home this month turned up a “limited” number of documents subject to attorney-client privilege, federal prosecutors said in a court filing on Monday.

The new disclosure by the Justice Department could bolster a request by Trump’s legal team to appoint a special master to conduct a privilege review of the items the FBI seized from Trump’s Florida estate during its unprecedented Aug. 8 search.

A special master is an independent third-party sometimes appointed by a court in sensitive cases to review materials potentially covered by attorney-client privilege to ensure investigators do not improperly view them.

U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon of the Southern District of Florida over the weekend issued an order saying she was inclined to appoint a special master.

She ordered the Justice Department to respond to Trump’s request, and also to provide under seal a more detailed list of the items seized from Trump’s home.

The FBI’s Trumped Up Entrapment

Within days of the FBI’s unprecedented Mar-a-Lago raid, Americans demanded to know what the Biden administration knew about it.

But as the White House denied involvement, leaks to the Media began to spring from inside the DOJ to deflect responsibility from Biden’s team.

Now, Mark and John Solomon from Just The News reveal the crucial behind-the-scenes role Biden played to weaken Trump’s defense.

It’s a stunning act of political desperation designed to handicap Biden’s likely opponent in 2024.

Trump’s Truth Social blasts reports of financial trouble as ‘knowingly false bar talk’

Former President Donald Trump’s social media company says media reports it is in financial trouble are “knowingly false bar talk,” pointing to regulatory filings showing it raised more than $15 million and has enough operating capital until at least next spring.

Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) provided Just the News with a defiant statement on Sunday after Just the News inquired about speculative reports in Fox Business and The Washington Post suggesting the parent company behind the Truth Social app was cash-strapped.

Fox Business suggested the Trump company’s finances were in “significant disarray,” while the Post said there were “signs that the company’s financial base has begun to erode.”

Rockefeller Foundation Wants Behavioral Scientists To Come Up With More Convincing COVID Vaxx Narratives

In yet another sign that the covid vaccination agenda of globalist institutions did not do quite as well as they had originally hoped, the Rockefeller Foundation has revealed that it (along with other non-profits) has been pumping millions of dollars into a behavioral science project meant to figure out why large groups of people around the world refuse to take the jab.

The “Mercury Project” is a collective of behavioral scientists formed by the Social Science Research Council (SSRC), a non-profit group which receives considerable funding from globalist organizations and governments.

The stated goals of the project are rather non-specific, using ambiguous language and mission statements.  However, the root intentions appear to be focused on using behavioral psychology and mass psychology elements to understand the global resistance to the recent covid compliance efforts.

Mercury groups will be deployed in multiple nations and regions and will study vaccine refusal and the medical “disinformation” that leads to it.  They are operating with the intent to tailor vaccination narratives to fit different ethnic and political backgrounds, looking for the key to the gates of each cultural kingdom and convincing them to take the jab.

FDA to authorize new COVID booster shots for Omicron before trials on humans, will instead rely on testing on mice

New COVID-19 booster shots that target the latest Omicron variant will be approved by the FDA this week, the Wall Street Journal reported. The new booster shot will be “bivalent” – which means it can target the original COVID-19 strain and the Omicron BA.5 subvariant.

The booster shot will likely be available to Americans despite not having been tested on humans. Instead, the FDA will rely on testing on mice, data from current COVID-19 vaccines, and earlier iterations of boosters.

The Wall Street Journal noted, “The Food and Drug Administration is expected to authorize new COVID-19 booster shots this week without a staple of its normal decision-making process: data from a study showing whether the shots were safe and worked in humans.”

As a doctor and dad, I am ashamed by how horribly my field mistreats kids with ‘gender-affirming’ therapies

Twenty-five years ago, when I was a young medical student on one of my first hospital rotations, the soft-spoken senior physician leading our team asked us one day on rounds, “what is all medication?” Met with blank stares, he then answered for us: “Poison. All medication is poison.”

He didn’t mean that the drugs we were giving our patients were killing them, but that we had a responsibility to be cautious when using them, as they also have the potential to harm.

It’s a lesson many of my physician colleagues are ignoring in their opposition to burgeoning legislation in several states that would prohibit “gender-affirming” therapies for children with gender dysphoria, including Ohio HB 454, currently the subject of contentious debate in my home state.

Those therapies include hormones to stop puberty and change external sexual characteristics, and surgeries to alter anatomy to that of the opposite sex.

As a doctor and a father, I have watched the role many in my profession have played in this debate with increasing concern and dismay. Physician involvement in this kind of therapy for children is horribly irresponsible and worthy of contempt.

‘Convenient’ events hint THIS is why the FBI raided Trump

What kind of classified documents was the FBI looking for when it raided President Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago?

Was it nuclear secrets, as the media suggested, or just any and all classified documents?

Well, it’s time for Glenn to head to the chalkboard, because the timeline of the events leading up to the raid has a lot of “convenient” coincidences that all revolve around one thing:

Trump’s attempt to declassify materials related to the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation…

Caldwell held an exclusive “Fox & Friends” interview with Democratic State Rep. La Shawn K. Ford, who is pleading with Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot and Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx to get tougher on crime.

Ford, who represents Chicago’s West Side in the State Assembly, shared his concerns after another bloody weekend left seven dead and 23 injured.

“Too many babies have been killed. Too many fathers have been killed. Too many mothers have been killed. Too many brothers have been killed. And this has to stop. And the only way you stop it is you have a system in place that’s going to go after criminals,” he told Caldwell.

“We cannot allow them to continue to run our communities and make our lives less safe. So only a few of them we could get them. Once we eliminate these criminals off the street, people will live in peace, and we can do it. We know where they’re at.”

Ford said top prosecutor Kim Foxx has a responsibility to “pull people together in the justice system” to send the message that “if you murder someone … we will lock you up.”

The lawmaker didn’t hold back on his criticism of liberal Mayor Lori Lightfoot.

UK’s biggest warship HMS Prince of Wales moved to ‘better location for inspection’ after breaking down

The problem was first reported by UK Defence Journal, an online news site focused on defence issues, which cited unconfirmed reports about damage to the starboard propeller shaft.

A second specialist news site, Navy Lookout, said the 65,000-ton warship had suffered a “significant technical fault”.

“Should the issue prove to be serious it goes without saying that this is extremely unfortunate and not a good look for the RN [Royal Navy],” it reported.

It stated that, unless the problem can be resolved at sea enabling the warship to continue its journey to the US, it might need to go into dry dock at Rosyth, Scotland, early ahead of a planned inspection in 2023.

France’s tax authority said Monday that a new artificial intelligence system had found thousands of undeclared swimming pools, allowing it to collect millions of euros from homeowners who failed to report the facilities.

Developed by Google and Capgemini, the AI software learned how to spot pools on aerial images of nine French departments during a trial run last year, which were then cross-checked with land registry databases.

Since pools boost property values, they usually lead to higher property and residency taxes — unless the owner neglects to notify tax authorities.

Private pool sales had already been booming in France before the Covid pandemic, which saw a surge in installations as millions of employees began working from home more often.

In its prime, Aquis Querquennis housed up to 600 Roman soldiers, Atlas Obscura reported. It had multiple barracks, two granaries, a hospital, temple, and thermal baths from the area’s natural hot springs. Romans at the camp would throw offerings of spiritual significance into the hot baths, Atlas Obscura reported.

Centuries later, all of Aquis Querquennis had been thrown under water. The full complex emerged as water levels in the As Conchas reservoir fell to 49% capacity, Faro de Vigo reported in early August.

Unfortunately, the drought is far from over, BBC reported, with the hot and dry conditions likely continuing until November.

Drought conditions are expected to worsen in Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Moldova, the Netherlands, northern Serbia, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Ukraine and the U.K, CNBC reported, citing the EU report.

The Original Intent of the Constitution | Myths of American History

We often hear talk about the “original intent” of the writers of the Constitution, but the Founding Fathers did not plan to create the political system we have today: a democratic republic based on two national and permanent political parties.

Indeed, “democracy” and “political parties” were dirty words to them.

They did realize, however, that the world was likely to change, which is one reason they included an amendment process in the Constitution that has allowed this document to survive as our frame of government for so long.
