Historic Announcement– California’s Books Are Open – 64,000 Vendors Received $76 Billion In State Payments

Our auditors at OpenTheBooks.com just posted the line-by-line payments to 64,000 state vendors who received nearly $76 billion during fiscal year 2021.

We accomplished what the governor, controller, attorney general, lawmakers, a Superior Court judge, and state bureaucrats refused to do. We opened the books on California’s line-by-line state expenditures.

In January 2020, we sued Controller Betty Yee in a Sacramento Superior Court after her office rejected our sunshine request for state spending. Yee claimed that she “couldn’t locate” any of the nearly 50 million bills she paid in 2019.

California was the final holdout on state checkbook transparency. Forty nine of the 50 states, the U.S. federal government, and 15,000 municipalities produce their line-by-line spending in response to our request.

Now, finally, the books are open. We’ve posted nearly every dime, online, in real time for the disclosed fiscal year 2021 state expenditures.

Gov. Newsom seems to champion environmentalism recently signing a bill regulating “harmful plastics pollution to protect communities.”

Yet state agencies contracted with Coca-Cola for $769,794, PepsiCo for $1.1 million, and Nestle received $1.6 million with $1.4 million going to their bottled water division. According to a report released last year from environmental group Break Free From Plastic, Coca-Cola and PepsiCo are the top one and two worldwide plastic polluters and Nestle ranked fourth.

Facebook Briefly Censors House GOP Members Critical of Biden’s Student Loan Plan

Those words were posted on the House Judiciary GOP page on Wednesday. Not only were people unable to share it, but Facebook censored the post stating: “Your post goes against our Community Standards so only you can see it.” At least one person claimed to have gone directly to FB jail for trying to share the post. As of Thursday morning, the post was back up on the page, probably because enough people, particularly members of the House Judiciary GOP, complained.

Some people blamed the FB algorithm for the mistake, and that is probably a safe bet. But you can read, re-read, and even diagram the sentence: “If you take out a loan, you pay it back. Period.” and you won’t find anything inflammatory, revolutionary, or violent about it. Yes, the post is critical of Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan, but it is not urging armed insurrection, massive civil disobedience, or even a boycott. If anything, it is pretty vanilla. Biden’s name isn’t even mentioned.

So what triggered the algorithm? An algorithm does not exercise judgment. It does what it is programmed to do, and in the case of the web, an algorithm looks for certain indicators and then executes an action based on those indicators. That is a very basic explanation based on my experience writing content websites for a private business.

Musk gets limited Twitter data as judge rules requests “absurdly broad”

WILMINGTON, Del, Aug 25 (Reuters) – Elon Musk may get access to Twitter Inc (TWTR.N) data used in a 2021 audit of active users but other information the billionaire seeks in a bid to end his $44 billion deal to buy the company were rejected as “absurdly broad,” a judge said on Thursday.

Twitter must turn over data from the 9,000 accounts sampled in the fourth quarter as part of its process to estimate the number of spam accounts.

Twitter had said that data did not exist and it would be burdensome to collect it. Chancellor Katheleen McCormick gave the company two weeks to produce the data.

A five-day trial has been scheduled for Oct. 17.

Twitter labeled factual information about covid-19 as misinformation

Over the past week, Twitter has flagged dozens of tweets with factual information about covid-19 as misinformation and in some cases has suspended the accounts of doctors, scientists, and patient advocates in response to their posts warning people about the illness’s dangers.

Many of the tweets have since had the misinformation labels removed, and the suspended accounts have been restored.

But the episode has shaken many scientific and medical professionals, who say Twitter is a key way they try to publicize the continuing risk of covid to a population that has grown weary of more than two years of shifting claims about the illness.

Johanna Po, an oral pathologist with a PhD in molecular biology who had one of her tweets flagged last week for misinformation (the flag was later removed), said discussion of the misapplied flags has been a big topic in the science and medical communities on Twitter. “It’s happened to quite a number of medical people and people in bio research,” she said.

‘F*** you, Fauci!’ Megyn Kelly deconstructs every one of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s lies in brutal takedown

The former Fox News anchor blasted Fauci, who told CNN earlier this week he will “certainly consider” testifying before Congress after he steps down from his role at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Republicans have promised to call Fauci, the chief government spokesman during the COVID-19 pandemic, to testify on his recommendations and oversight of funding for coronavirus research in Wuhan, China.

“He sounds like he’s been invited to afternoon tea at one of our houses,” Kelly said on SiriusXM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast. “F*** you, Fauci! You don’t get to say whether you go. You get a congressional subpoena, you show up, or you get the Steve Bannon treatment.”

In a monologue on Wednesday’s podcast, Kelly savaged Fauci, accusing him of lying repeatedly to the American people and of encouraging policies that failed to slow the spread of COVID-19 but succeeded in tearing the country apart.

ACLU Fought Chemical Castration of Sex Offenders, Supports Use of Same Drugs on Trans Kids

Just one year ago, the ACLU was previously a vocal opponent of a law in Alabama that mandated chemical castration on certain convicted sex offenders.

Former Executive Director of the ACLU of Alabama Randall Marshall called the practice of chemical castration “medical experimentation,” also claiming that it “has no basis in the medical community.”

Dillon Nettles, a policy analyst with the ACLU of Alabama, said the law “presents serious issues, involving involuntary medical treatment, informed consent, privacy and cruel and unusual punishment.”

The drug that was to be used for chemical castration is called medroxyprogesterone acetate, and it is also used as a puberty blocker. One study notes that the drug “is a widely used progestin in feminizing hormone therapy.”

But while the ACLU has vocally opposed the use of medroxyprogesterone acetate on convicted sex offenders, the organization has called “gender affirming care” for children, which includes the use of puberty blockers, “medically necessary” and even “life saving.”

Hit piece in Mother Jones likens Moms for Liberty to segregationists, hysterical anti-Semites

In the piece, senior editor Kiera Butler compared parental rights group Moms for Liberty‘s tactics and concern for children’s well-being to those allegedly used and expressed both by segregationists during the civil rights movement and conspiratorial anti-Semites in premodern Europe.

Butler criticizes Moms for Liberty’s allegedly selective support for parental rights. Butler suggested the group is unconcerned “with a parent’s right to ensure that their gender nonconforming child is safe at school, for instance, or that their immunocompromised child is protected from Covid.”

Instead, she argued the group is keen on countering critical race theory, “LGBTQ-friendly books,” accommodations for transsexuals, and mask mandates. Butler also intimated that the group is fixated on Second Amendment rights “that have allowed school shooters to obtain weapons.”

As COVID Vaccine Injuries Pile Up, It’s Worth Remembering: Medicine Is a Leading Cause of Death in the U.S.

In her landmark paper in the Journal of the American Medical Association, Starfield estimated around 225,000 American deaths annually — or possibly as many as 284,000 — from causes such as unnecessary surgery, contraindicated care, medication errors and drug adverse effects.

Writer Jon Rappoport — who interviewed Starfield in 2009, and regularly reminds readers about her “stunning” findings on medically caused death in America — observed in 2015, that while there was “every reason for [Starfield’s paper] to cause a firestorm in the press, and in the halls of government … that’s not what happened.”

Everyone who has tried to estimate the harms caused by modern medicine has called attention to the difficulty of truly getting a handle on the phenomenon due to underreporting and limitations of existing datasets, which likely reveal only the “tip of [the] iceberg.”

The first limitation is that most data used to calculate medicine as a leading cause of death come from hospitalized patients.

However, according to another 2000 study cited by Starfield, drug-related adverse effects are also high in outpatient settings, affecting somewhere between 4% and 18% of such patients.

In fact, researchers of that era estimated outpatient snafus resulted in nearly 200,000 additional deaths annually.

Why did Deaths among Female Children increase by 57% immediately after they were offered the Covid-19 Vaccine?

(Pexels)

The risk of children dying due to the alleged Covid-19 disease is so extraordinarily low that it is negligible, and this is precisely why the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation refused to recommend that children be offered a Covid-19 injection in the UK, citing that the benefits do not necessarily outweigh the risks.

One of those known risks is a condition known as myocarditis, which causes inflammation of the heart muscle and reduces the heart’s ability to pump blood, and can cause rapid or abnormal heart rhythms.

Eventually, myocarditis weakens the heart so that the rest of the body doesn’t get enough blood. Clots can then form in the heart, leading to a stroke or heart attack. Other complications of the condition include sudden cardiac death. There is no mild version of myocarditis, it is extremely serious due to the fact that the heart muscle is incapable of regenerating. Therefore, once the damage is done there is no rewinding the clock.

Medicine regulators are fully aware that myocarditis can result from an adverse reaction to the Covid-19 injections, especially to the Pfizer mRNA injection. They are also well aware that it disproportionally affects younger adults and teenagers.

Chicago Public Schools website features appalling video justifying burning and looting

Kimberly Jones,
Kimberly Jones,

Rosenberg ably excerpts some of the most remarkable assertions of the video, but in order to fully grasp the level of hatred being expressed, it is worthwhile listening to the almost seven minutes of the rant, in which the speaker, author Kimberly Jones, credits participating on Operation Push (Jesse Jackson’s old outfit) for her level of economic sophistication (such as it is).

She begins with a robust defense of rioting and looting as an entitlement for those presently at the lower end of the economic spectrum.

“Wealthy black people (are) making the commentary…we should not be rioting, we should not be looting, we should not be tearing up our own communities. And then there’s been the argument…we should be hitting them in the pocket…where we don’t spend any money — but I feel like we should do both, and I support both.”

Why Biden’s student loan relief plan is a SOCIALIST FAILURE

After announcing plans to cancel millions of Americans’ student loan debt from college, President Biden may think he’s Robin Hood.
But he couldn’t be further from the truth.

In fact, not only is Joe’s plan entirely unconstitutional, but it’s a socialist FAILURE instead.

Because instead of redistributing wealth from top earners to the most needy, Biden really is just robbing the poor:

‘Man, he’s the worst socialist ever.’ Glenn explains it all — plus the DISASTROUS effects this student loan forgiveness plan could have on America.

Analysis: Rise in Albanian asylum seekers may be down to criminal gangs

Speculation has fallen upon dominant organised criminal gangs known to have previously trafficked sex workers and gang members into the UK, and which now control large parts of the marijuana and cocaine markets.

Albanian gang activity is “rising up the security services’ list” of priorities because of the surge in arrivals from the Balkan state, it is understood.

Police say they have a stranglehold over the cocaine market in London and the south-east of England. A National Crime Agency (NCA) report in February said Albanian gangs had in the past five years imported expertise gained from industrial-scale cannabis farming in their home country to the UK.

NCA investigators say Albanians have brought a ruthless professionalism to cannabis farming that has displaced Vietnamese people as the main group producing the drug in the UK.

The Russian-held Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station was reconnected to the Ukrainian power grid after “temporarily” losing connection earlier on Thursday, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said, citing Ukrainian officials.

The IAEA said the plant lost connection to the power grid through its last remaining transmission line at least twice on Thursday, triggering the emergency protection systems of the plant’s two operating reactor units.

  • Ukrainian officials told the IAEA that all six of the plant’s reactor units remained disconnected from the grid even though the connection was restored.
  • “There was no information immediately available on the direct cause of the power cuts,” the IAEA said.

“Almost every day there is a new incident at or near the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant. We can’t afford to lose any more time,” IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi said in a statement Thursday.

  • “I’m determined to personally lead an IAEA mission to the plant in the next few days to help stabilize the nuclear safety and security situation there,” Grossi said.

Commentary/Opinion:

What’s Going On in America

When we see adults in leadership who have made it legal for minors, very young minors, to have permanent, life-altering sex changes, while it would be a crime to give these very same minors cigarettes, alcohol, or the car keys, we can’t believe what’s going on.

When China, Russia, and Iran no longer fear us, and Israel, Japan, and South Korea no longer trust us, we know that leadership is making purposeful mistakes.

When kindergarten students are still being forced to wear masks that do not work, and everyone knows they don’t work, we wonder aloud why.

When J-6 political prisoners are still being held in D.C. gulags without charges being filed against them or bail being afforded to them, we know that this is just not American.

When there is practically no border at all on our southern flank, and we know that all sovereign nations do in fact have borders, we know that history shows us clearly that this is suicidal for a people.
