Multiple fatalities after Amtrak derailment in Missouri
The Southwest Chief Train 4, which was traveling from Los Angeles to Chicago, collided with the truck that was obstructing the public crossing and came off the tracks at Mendon in Missouri around 12:42 p.m. CT Monday afternoon, Amtrak confirmed to DailyMail.com.
Eight train cars and two locomotives (with the train engines) derailed after striking a truck.
There were ‘early reports of injuries,’ Amtrak said in a statement, adding that there were 243 passengers onboard at the time of the crash.
Shocking photos taken in the immediate aftermath show a female passenger being helped out of a broken window, while others were seen atop overturned cars.
Pro-abortion terrorist group Jane’s Revenge threatens to hunt pro-lifers at homes
Jane’s Revenge, a pro-abortion domestic terror group, claims it has attacked pregnancy centers in California and Vermont over the weekend. Their threatening rhetoric of hate is ramping up and is now threatening to target pro-lifers at their homes while referring to vandalism as “absolutely titillating.” One message suggested supporters should “[l]earn the skill of accelerant bartending” and added, “Next time we’ll bring it Wisconsin-style” — a reference to the arson committed at the Wisconsin Family Action offices.

The president has repeatedly denied personally and through his press secretary that he ever talked about Hunter’s foreign business with his Hunter – despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
Now, in a voicemail left on Hunter’s iPhone, the evidence has come from POTUS’ own mouth.
Joe called Hunter on December 12, 2018 saying that he wanted to talk to him after reading a New York Times story about Hunter’s dealings with the Chinese oil giant CEFC.
Files on Hunter’s abandoned laptop previously disclosed by DailyMail.com show that he struck a deal with the Chinese company worth millions of dollars after touting his family connections.
Eric Adams admits he was ‘shocked’ at ‘how bad’ NYC was before taking office
Adams made the remarks while riding the city’s subway system for more than three hours last week, and described to the outlet that he began reviewing internal data on city operations after he was sworn in on Jan. 1 of this year.
“It was probably the third — third or fourth week in January. I spent a lot of time in the office,” he said.
“And I started peeling back layers and what it started to unveil to me is how we just had this good shell, but underneath — it’s bad.”
Crime tapered off in 2018 for New York City, with 1,207 fewer crime incidents across the board compared to 2017, according to the NYPD. However, by 2021, de Blasio’s last year in office and on the heels of 2020’s violent year for the entire country, New York City recorded increases in nearly every major crime category compared to the city’s already bloody 2020.
NY Supreme Court strikes down law allowing noncitizens to vote
The law, passed in December 2021 by the New York City Council, created a class of voters called “municipal voters,” comprised of noncitizens who reside in the city for at least 30 days before an election and register or pre-register to vote.
Under the law, municipal voters were granted the right to participate in elections for mayor, public advocate, comptroller, borough president, and council member.
“The New York State Constitution explicitly lays the foundation for ascertaining that only proper citizens retain the right to voter privileges,” Richmond County Supreme Court Judge Ralph Porzio said in the court’s ruling.
“It is this Court’s belief that by not expressly including non-citizens in the New York State Constitution, it was the intent of the framers for non-citizens to be omitted.”
Biden administration drops tens of thousands of illegal immigration cases in ‘de facto amnesty’
President Joe Biden’s administration is forcing federal prosecutors to drop tens of thousands of cases against illegal immigrants, creating a sort of “de facto amnesty” that could permit up to 1 million people to seek permanent legal status in the U.S. by 2024, according to a report.
A whistleblower from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement — a federal prosecutor — told the Washington Examiner Friday that Biden administration officials have instructed ICE prosecutors to deal with a backlog of 2 million immigration cases by throwing out cases from before the November 2020 election.
In an April 14 virtual meeting, ICE principal legal adviser Kerry Doyle laid out the Biden administration’s policy to the more than 1,200 ICE prosecutors handling cases against illegal immigrants, the Examiner reported. She told them only to prosecute cases against migrants identified as national security or public safety threats, or those who had crossed the border illegally after Nov. 1, 2020. Doyle instructed that prosecutors were to use their discretion to drop all other cases.
Pro-Abortion Protests Turned Violent Across the Country
Pro-abortion protesters incited violence across the nation’s cities in response to the Supreme Court’s Friday ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Black-clad protesters on Saturday night smashed windows and sprayed graffiti on businesses in downtown Portland, according to a Portland Police Bureau news release. Protesters targeted banks, a coffee shop, and the nonprofit Mother and Child Education Center, where they smashed a window, damaged a metal gate, and graffitied a sign with obscenities.
Pro-abortion activists targeted pro-life offices and churches even before the Court’s ruling. Demonstrators last month firebombed a pro-life office in Wisconsin and vandalized four pro-life churches in Washington State. Early this month, they also firebombed a pregnancy center in New York.
The attacks appear to have worsened since the Friday ruling, however.
Judge blocks Louisiana abortion ‘trigger law’ from taking effect
The abortion restrictions were written to take effect if the Supreme Court ever overturned Roe v. Wade, which it did on Friday. Several states across the country have enacted similar laws, known as “trigger laws.”
Orleans Parish Civil District Court Judge Robin Giarrusso issued the temporary block shortly after abortion providers in the state filed a lawsuit, according to the order.
Giarrusso will hold a hearing on the lawsuit on July 8 and will make a determination on whether to continue the stay. Abortions remain legal in the state for the time being.
A dozen other U.S. states have passed trigger laws similar to Louisiana’s.

Atlanta Subway customer shoots workers, killing one, during argument over ‘too much mayo,’ report says
“Believe it or not, it was about too much mayonnaise on his sandwich,” the location’s owner Willie Glenn told FOX5 Atlanta about what sparked the incident.
Glenn said the deceased woman’s young son was in the establishment at the time and witnessed the shooting.
The restaurant’s manager on duty returned fire at the suspect, but did not hit him, according to Glenn, who wondered “what the world is coming to, especially with our youth.”
Teens charged in murder of Philadelphia 15-year-old who was shot in head getting water from family car
Two teenagers are facing murder charges for allegedly shooting 15-year-old Sean Toomey in the head outside of his Philadelphia home while he carried groceries inside for his family.
The two teen suspects have since been tied to an attempted robbery of a woman at an ATM as well as an attempted car theft from an apartment complex parking lot.
Prosecutors said ATF agents arrested a man in Philadelphia on June 9 for carjacking and related offenses. The suspect later provided information related to a March 24 attempted ATM robbery with two of his friends. The April 14 Airbnb incident helped investigators piece together Gardee and Teagle’s roles in the fatal shooting of Toomey.
Washington men busted in California with 150,000 fentanyl pills during traffic stop
A pair of suspects allegedly hauling 150,000 fentanyl pills – enough to potentially kill several million people – were busted Friday during a traffic stop in south-central California.
Detectives said 150 packages, each containing 1,000 fentanyl pills, were hidden inside their vehicle. The total street value of the drugs was estimated to be $750,000, according to the sheriff’s office.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Center for Health Statistics estimates there were 107,622 drug overdose deaths in 2021, with 71,238 of those deaths related to synthetic opioids such as fentanyl.

High school football coach scores big win at Supreme Court over post-game prayer
The Supreme Court handed a big win to a former Washington high school football coach who lost his job over reciting a prayer on the 50-yard line after games.
At issue was whether a public school employee praying alone but in view of students was engaging in unprotected “government speech,” and if it is not government speech, does it still pose a problem under the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause.
The Supreme Court ruled Monday in a 6-3 decision that the answer to both questions is no.

Jewish and pro-Israel organizations across the political spectrum are calling on the White House to withdraw the nomination of an ambassadorial candidate who is under fire for anti-Semitic remarks.
Elizabeth Frawley Bagley, a longtime diplomat and Democratic Party insider who was tapped to serve as the next ambassador to Brazil, is facing widespread opposition after the Washington Free Beacon reported on her 1998 remarks about the “Jewish lobby” and its “major money.”
Jewish and pro-Israel organizations say Bagley must go as a result of her remarks, in which she decried “the influence of the Jewish lobby because there is major money involved.”

Offering support for several controversial ideas in recent time, Collins has called for defunding the police and the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Collins was front and center filming a Facebook Live video of a “Defund the Police” rally in July 2020 and marched with protesters chanting to “defund the police” in a separate Facebook Live video the same day.
As previously reported by Fox News Digital, Collins posted a photo of protesters burning down an Arby’s to her Instagram in May 2020 with the caption “AFRICAN PROVERB: The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth.” That post by Collins appears to have since been deleted.
More than 1 million voters switch registration to GOP as suburbs break from Biden
The GOP is benefiting most in the suburbs of large and medium cities, where voters who supported President Joe Biden in 2020 are struggling with inflation and growing increasingly critical of Democratic social issues, according to an analysis from The Associated Press.
Roughly 1.7 million Americans have changed their party affiliation over the past 12 months. Two-thirds of those have gone to the GOP, while just 630,000 have switched to the Democratic Party, according to the report.
Biden’s administration has scrambled to address skyrocketing gas prices, as well as inflation that sits at a 40-year high and shows no signs of slowing down.
Members of Biden’s own party have criticized the White House response to the economic crises, saying he is being too passive.

Russian lawmaker names first city Russia will strike if World War III begins
During an appearance on the Russian state television “Vremya Pakazhet” (Time Will Tell) on Friday, Russian military general-turned-lawmaker Andrei Gurulyov discussed the first targets if Russia goes to war with NATO.
Gurulyov began by describing attacking any and all space satellites and missile defense systems of any and all NATO member nations, but specifically described striking London first.
“We certainly won’t start from Warsaw, Paris, or Berlin,” Gurulyov said. “The first to be hit will be London.”
“We’ll destroy the entire group of enemy’s space satellites during the first air operation” Gurulyov began his remarks. “No one will care if they are American or British, we would see them all as NATO.”
“Second, we’ll mitigate the entire system of anti-missile defense, everywhere and 100 percent,” the Russian lawmaker added. “Third, we certainly won’t start from Warsaw, Paris, or Berlin. The first to be hit will be London.”
Gurulyov said Russia’s opening attacks would also aim to destroy “critically important sites to cut off and immobilize the energy supply to western Europe.
