NYC Mayor Adams defends ‘drag storytellers’ in libraries and schools

On Thursday NYC Mayor Eric Adams released a statement defending “Drag Queen Story Hour” and said “Drag storytellers, and the libraries and schools that support them, are advancing a love of diversity, personal expression, and literacy that is core to what our city embraces.”
His statement was in response to Queens Republican Councilwoman Vickie Paladino who posted a thread on Twitter where she threatened to pull funding from any school that hosts men and women in drag reading to children and said “Progressives may have no problem with child grooming and sexualization, but I do.”
As The Post Millennial reported, in New York City more than $200,000 of taxpayer funds have been given to drag queens to entertain children in public schools since 2018, with funds mostly going to the non-profit group Drag Story Hour NYC.
Jordan Peterson SLAMS critical gender theory: ‘We are sacrificing our children on the altar of a brutal, far-Left ideology’

In his latest piece for the Telegraph, Peterson decried the impact this radical set of ideas is having on the younger generation, and slammed the medical profession for bowing to the demands of activists.
Peterson began by taking aim at an American doctor who bragged about having mutilated the bodies of thousands of young women via “gender reassignment” surgeries, citing it as an example of how the Hippocratic Oath, which all doctors must follow, has been “replaced by a delusion.”
The delusion, he explained, is the belief that children’s feelings must be taken seriously at all costs, and that “any attempt to contest their gender identity risks increasing their proclivity for suicide.”
“Lies. Lies. Lies. Then butchery,” Peterson stated.
3rd US veteran missing in Ukraine

The family and friends of Grady Kurpasi, a 20-year veteran of U.S. Marine Corps, told CNN on Thursday that they hadn’t heard from him since April 24, after he traveled to Ukraine. Family friend George Heath told CNN that Kurpasi had volunteered to travel to Ukraine and assist the country in its ongoing defense against Russian invasion forces, but did not specifically plan to fight.
News of Kurpasi’s disappearance came a day after reports broke that two U.S. military veterans who volunteered to fight alongside Ukrainian forces disappeared last week and may have been captured by Russian forces.
During a State Department press briefing on Thursday, department spokesperson Ned Price discussed the reports of the two possibly captured Americans.
Hunter Biden’s Recording Revealed: The Full Audio
Prior to the 2020 Election, the explosive content of Hunter Biden’s Laptop was suppressed by Big Media as a “Russian Disinformation Campaign.”
However, the laptop has been verified, and the truth about Hunter’s connections with his dad are trickling out. Now, a secret password-protected Hunter Biden audio recording has been cracked and is being revealed for the first time.
And Mark is asking the question few in the left-wing media will dare ask: why isn’t Joe Biden being fully investigated for his cronyism? And why is the Mainstream Media still suppressing the story?

Video: Mark Levin: ‘Nothing’ Learned from January 6 Committee — ‘This Isn’t a Pursuit of the Truth’

Thursday on FNC’s “Hannity,” conservative talker Mark Levin criticized the January 6 House Select Committee, which he said was not offering anything new despite the media reaction.
According to Levin, the one-sided nature of the committee made it a “railroad job.”
Transcript as follows:
LEVIN: It’s funny. They say Trump didn’t respond quickly enough on January 6, but he did respond on January 6, and here we have the access of evil — Biden, Schumer and Pelosi — who still haven’t responded to an assassination plot against the Supreme Court justice. With their violent rhetoric, they still haven’t responded to the threats that are coming down the potential need of the national guard to protect the Supreme Court.
The left is extraordinarily violent, whether it’s the summer of 2020, whether it was the riots during the inauguration of Donald Trump to try and prevent his being swear in to be president, whether it was the attack on the second branch of government, the executive branch at the White House and injured Secret Service agents.
January 6 Committee Public Hearings: 5 Things You Missed

In the hours before the first hearing on June 9, aides revealed to the Washington Post that there would be no “shocking revelations,” despite months of behind-closed-doors interviews with over 1,000 so-called witnesses.
Nevertheless, there have been several interesting things to have emerged from the show trial. Most of them have been about the committee itself, and the lengths to which it has abused the powers of Congress.
The point of the public hearings is to attack former President Donald Trump and make it harder for him to run again in 2024. It is a form of dreaded “election interference,” which Democrats decried when they falsely accused Trump of colluding with Russia.
Here are five takeaways:
Report: D.A. George Gascón’s Directive Makes L.A. County Pay for Cop Killer’s Funeral

The suspect who killed the officers was a gang member who was out on the streets because Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón’s office presented him with a plea deal that gave him just ten days in jail, instead of three years, on a gun charge.
Moreover, the Los Angeles Times indicated that the suspect was free because of L.A. District Attorney George Gascón’s policy undercutting the state’s “Three Strikes” law.
The Washington Examiner reported that a December 7, 2020, directive issued by Gascón means Los Angeles County will cover the costs of the cop killer’s funeral.
According to the outlet, the directive “funds funerals, burials, and mental health services for ‘individuals killed by police,’ among others.

FBI investigating attacks on pregnancy centers as potential acts of domestic violent extremism

Federal authorities are investigating a fire that took place at a pregnancy resource center in Gresham, Oregon early Friday morning.
The incident occurred not long after a pro-life Christian pregnancy center in New York was also allegedly the target of an act of arson, according to police.
Cotton: Garland must resign over DOJ inaction on Jane’s Revenge, more than 50 attacks on pro-life groups

Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Arkansas, said Thursday that U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland should resign over the Biden administration Justice Department’s inaction on more than 50 attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers and churches in recent weeks purportedly carried out by Jane’s Revenge.
In a letter sent to Garland, Cotton, who is the ranking member for the subcommittee on Criminal Justice and Counterterrorism, the Intelligence Committee, and the Armed Services Committee, also called on the DOJ to investigate Jane’s Revenge as a “domestic terrorist organization.”
“Houses of worship and pro-life pregnancy centers are under attack. The Family Research Council has compiled a list of more than 50 attacks against churches, pro-life pregnancy centers, and other pro-life groups in the past few weeks,” Cotton wrote to Garland in a letter exclusively obtained by Fox News Digital.
USA Today Removes 23 Articles After Investigation Found Reporter Fabricated Sources

USA Today’s breaking news reporter Gabriela Miranda fabricated sources and misappropriated quotes for stories, the news outlet confirmed on Thursday. The outlet conducted an internal audit after receiving an “external correction request” on one of its published stories.
Although the links to the now-removed stories are still up, the text of the articles has been replaced with an editor’s note that says, “This story has been removed from our platforms because it does not meet our standards.”
Miranda’s removed stories include coverage of Texas’s six-week abortion ban, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and an “anti-vaxxer” coronavirus treatment.
Dr. Simone Gold Is Going To Jail For Being Armed With A Megaphone Inside The Capitol On J6

WASHINGTON, DC – On June 16th, Dr. Simone Gold was handed down a considerably stiff sentence after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of entering and remaining in a restricted building, for which Gold will have to serve 60 days in jail followed by fines and probation.
During Gold’s sentencing on June 16th with respect to the January 6th incident, District Judge Christopher Cooper even referenced her work with America’s Frontline Doctors – despite those endeavors having nothing to do with what Gold was charged with – with the judge lambasting her organization’s work.Gold wasn’t accused of engaging in any sort of violence or vandalism,
but merely being among those who’d ventured into the purported restricted area within the Capitol – which was, at the time, not exactly being enforced as though it were a restricted area based upon the demeanor of officers inside of the Capitol whilst Gold was addressing the crowd.

Some of their ideas currently ‘under consideration’ are SHOCKING.
Glenn details them, like a national public health emergency, and more ‘risky’ ones, like inviting doctors to perform the procedure on federal MILITARY bases…

Log Cabin Republicans Denied Booth at Texas GOP Convention

The decision was apparently a close 4-3 vote of the Texas State Republican Executive Committee.
“Texas Republicans just saw on Tuesday night what happens when the party includes new faces and voices – a Democrat-held seat was flipped for the first time in nearly a hundred years by a conservative Mexican woman,” the statement said.
Former Trump ambassador Richard Grenell shared the statement, and condemned the state party’s actions.
He recalled the fact that Andrew Breitbart publicly criticized the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in 2011 for its refusal to host the gay conservative group GOProud.
Sen. Blackburn’s plan to ‘de-wokeify’ the military foiled by Democrats

EXCLUSIVE: A plan proposed by Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., to “de-wokeify” the U.S. military was halted by Senate Democrats this week.

During a classified hearing Wednesday, Senate Democrats on the Armed Services Committee voted down both measures.

Three Palestinian gunmen killed in Israeli army raid in Jenin

The Islamic group Hamas said Lahluh was one of its commanders in the West Bank and vowed that the killings “will not go unpunished”.
The Israeli army said in a statement that its troops had been conducting an operation in Jenin to search for weapons at two different locations.
The soldiers had come under fire as they arrived at the first location and they retaliated before identifying a suspicious vehicle on the side of the road on their way to the second location, it said.

Following an exchange of fire, soldiers found weapons, including two M-16 assault rifles and cartridges at the scene.
Dutch company Lightyear to launch world’s first solar car by the end of 2022

A dutch company, Lightyear, is launching the world’s first production-ready solar car that will hit the roads later this year promising months of charge-less driving in summer. The Lightyear 0 will have curved solar panels in its roof, hood and trunk that top up the electric battery as it drives. The first delivery in Europe could be as early as November.
Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Lex Hoefsloot said at the reveal of the Lightyear 0 model, “Electric cars are a step in the right direction, but they are dependent on the grid, which is still dependent on mostly fossil fuel energy. Adding a new source, the sun, adds certainty that you will always have that charge and you will have to charge a lot less often.”
The interior of the vehicle is vegan and eco-friendly, featuring plant-based leather, fabrics made from recycled PET bottles and wooden deco elements from sustainably-restructured rattan palm.
India bolsters arms ties with West to sever Russian dependence

NEW DELHI — India is making overtures to Israel, the U.S. and Europe in an effort to reduce its dependence on Russian arms, as the war in Ukraine highlights the risk of relying too heavily a single partner.
The war has pushed Russia closer to China, which India considers its biggest threat as the countries remain embroiled in a border dispute. New Delhi is now exploring ways to possibly reduce its Russia-dependence.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged Israeli defense companies to set up shop in India in a meeting with Israeli Defense Minister Benjamin Gantz this month. India and Israel have deepened cooperation on defense in recent years.
China launches ‘Fujian,’ its most advanced aircraft carrier

The 80,000-ton Fujian, named for the southern coastal province opposite Taiwan, is the first of China’s three carriers to be fully designed and built domestically. Unlike China’s Liaoning and Shandong carriers, which use ski-jump ramps, Fujian will launch planes using electromagnetic catapults, the technology used on current U.S. carriers.
“Although it will be years before the [carrier] enters military service and achieves initial operating capability, its launch will be a seminal moment in China’s ongoing modernization efforts and a symbol of the country’s growing military might,” said analysts from the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a think tank in Washington, in an article earlier this month.
Commissioned in 2018 and constructed by China State Shipbuilding’s Jiangnan Shipyard in Shanghai, the warship reflects President Xi Jinping’s ambition to fully modernize the country’s armed forces by 2035.

Putin claimed Russia was “forced” to invade Ukraine and said he would push ahead with the 4-month-old war despite facing fierce resistance by Ukrainian forces and significant losses of men and equipment.
The Russian president lashed out at the United States for its role in global affairs, saying Washington considers itself “God’s emissary on Earth.”
He said Russia would be playing a greater role in what he called an emerging new world order.
“Nothing will be as it used to be in global politics,” he said.

The Seduction of COVID-19 Models | CLIP | American Thought Leaders
Gigi Foster explains the seduction of simplified models to the human mind, saying that even scientists fell for the allure of a simplified COVID-19 predictions.
She explains why these models are never 100% accurate, because they are built based on a multitude of complex and fluid variables, and also because of the inherent biases of those creating the models.
Foster adds that those predicting COVID-19 deaths have to overstate the possibility because of the political repercussions they would suffer for under-predicting the totals.
