Leaked DHS Document Says US Plans to Offer ‘Broadscale Release Mechanisms’ for Illegal Aliens
As many as 450,000 illegal aliens could arrive along what the DHS calls the southwest border security and irregular migration zones of operation, which stretches from the southern U.S. border through Central America, in a 30-day period, according to one of the planning scenarios in the contingency plan.
That could lead to “multiple surges” of 10,000 to 20,000 immigrants hitting different locations at the same time.
DHS, which already dealt with a record-level of illegal immigration during Biden’s first year in office, says ways to remove illegal immigrants “will be limited” apart from pandemic-era powers.
That will lead to using “broadscale release mechanisms” like issuing notices to appear in court, or even releasing illegal immigrants without a court notice, a practice that was not used before Biden took office.
Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), who represents a portion of a border state, told The Epoch Times in an email after reviewing the report that Biden and Mayorkas “have eviscerated our nation’s border security and immigration enforcement apparatus through various illegitimate executive orders and memorandums.
Biden Administration Stops Shipments of COVID-19 Treatment to All States
The U.S. government on April 5 immediately halted all shipments of a COVID-19 treatment to states and ordered health care providers not to use the drug.
The actions were taken because of the increasing prevalence of BA.2, a subvariant of Omicron, which is itself a variant of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, also known as SARS-CoV-2, the virus causes COVID-19.
Data so far indicate that the drug, a monoclonal antibody called sotrovimab, does not work against BA.2, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

“We’ve all been vaccinated, but being from New York, we were all scared out of our wit’s end and didn’t know which end was up,” she said.

“If this could have been avoided by more critical thinking about what we’re really doing and what can we do in lieu of vaccines I think many peoples’ adverse effects could be eliminated,” she said.
Henrietta encouraged others to do their own research, be careful about what they put into their bodies and talk to physicians who understand the risks of COVID vaccines.

On Monday, elections watchdog group Voter Reference Foundation (VRF) posted records obtained via the Wisconsin Elections Commission documenting the number of voters who circumvented state voter ID requirements in 2020 by claiming “indefinitely confined” status during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The dataset revealed “40,856 registrants who voted in the 2020 General Election with an Indefinitely Confined status and according to WEC, had not provided ID prior to doing so,” VRF reported.

The source who distributed Hunter Biden‘s laptop to congressmen and media has fled the US to Switzerland, saying he fears retaliation from the Biden administration.
Jack Maxey gave DailyMail.com a copy of the hard drive from Hunter’s abandoned laptop in the spring of 2021.
He also gave copies and material from it to the Washington Post, New York Times, and Senator Chuck Grassley in his role as ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee – but he claims they all sat on it for months.
For the past two weeks, Maxey has been in hiding in Zurich, working with IT experts to dig out more data from the ‘laptop from hell’.
Maxey, a former co-host of ex-Donald Trump advisor Steve Bannon’s podcast the War Room, claims he and his colleagues have found ‘450 gigabytes of deleted material’ including 80,000 images and videos and more than 120,000 archived emails.
He said he intends to post them all online in a searchable database in the coming weeks.

In a joint statement, Hennepin County Attorney Michael Freeman and Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison recognized that while Locke’s death was a “tragedy” and he was not the subject of the search warrants, “there is insufficient admissible evidence to file criminal charges in this case.”
“Specifically, the State would be unable to disprove beyond a reasonable doubt any of the elements of Minnesota’s use-of-deadly-force statute that authorizes the use of force by Officer Hanneman,” the statement said.
“Nor would the State be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt a criminal charge against any other officer involved in the decision-making that led to the death of Amir Locke.”
Utah woman dead after fall at Grand Canyon, 4th this year
Margaret Osswald, 34, of Salt Lake City, suffered fatal injuries when she fell approximately 20 feet near Ledges Camp along the Colorado River on Monday evening, the National Park Service (NPS) said in a news release.
Osswald was on day six of the multi-day boating trip when she hiked into the canyon to meet the river trip at Phantom Ranch and fell, the NPS said.
An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the National Park Service and the Coconino County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Oklahoma Legislature Passes Near-Total Abortion Ban
The Oklahoma House voted 70-14 to pass SB 612, sending it to Gov. Kevin Stitt (R), who has previously vowed to sign “every piece of pro-life legislation” that comes across his desk, the New York Times reported.
The bill bans all abortions “except to save the life of a pregnant woman in a medical emergency.”
The bill defines a medical emergency as “a pregnant woman whose life is endangered by a physical disorder, physical illness or physical injury including a life-endangering physical condition caused by or arising from the pregnancy itself.”
The law would also make performing an abortion a “felony punishable by $100,000,” imprisonment for up to 10 years, or both, according to the bill’s text.
Republican state Rep. Jim Olsen emphasized that “the penalties are for the doctor, not for the woman.” If Stitt signs the bill, the law will take effect on August 26, the Senate clerk’s office told the Times.
HHS Secretary Becerra refuses to admit partial-birth abortions are illegal in House testimony
Becerra appeared before the House Committee on Education and Labor to discuss the policy priorities of his department. Banks pressed Becerra on whether his department would aggressively enforce the federal ban on partial-birth abortions, but the secretary refused to acknowledge the ban.
“Do you concede that partial-birth abortion, as defined in 18 U.S. code, section 1531, is illegal and punishable by fine, imprisonment or both?” Banks asked.
Becerra has a history of denying that the U.S. ban on partial birth abortions exists. He claimed during a 2021 hearing before the same committee that “there is no law that deals specifically with the term “partial-birth abortion.”

Czech Republic Becomes First NATO Country to Ship Tanks to Ukraine: Reports
Following repeated calls for heavy armaments from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the Czech Republic, also known as Czechia, is claimed to have sent Soviet-era tanks and other infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine to bolster their efforts against the renewed invasion by Vladimir Putin’s Russia.
Czech MP Ondřej Benešík of the Christian and Democratic Union – Czechoslovak People’s Party (KDU-ČSL) shared images on social media purporting to show the deliveries of the military vehicles to Ukraine, including modern BVP infantry fighting vehicles and T-72 tanks, which were initially developed by the Soviet Union in 1969.

American nun, 83, kidnapped in Burkina Faso by gunmen
A group of “unidentified armed men” kidnaped Sr. Suellen Tennyson of the Marianites of Holy Cross congregation overnight from a parish in Yalgo between April 4 and 5 and brought her to an unknown location, the archdiocese said, citing Bishop Theophile Nare of the Kaya Diocese.
The kidnapers vandalized the convent where Tennyson lived with other religious women, according to the archdiocese.
The State Department told Fox News Digital in a statement that it is “aware of reports of a U.S. citizen missing in Burkina Faso.”
“U.S. Embassy Ouagadougou is working diligently with local authorities and is monitoring the situation. We stand ready to provide all appropriate consular assistance,” the agency said.
Video: Lone Ukrainian tank takes on entire Russian armored convoy
The video of the battle showed the Ukrainian tank in a stationary position behind cover, firing upon the Russian column as it moves down an adjacent roadway.
After the first Russian armored vehicles were destroyed, other Russian BTRs could be seen firing either machine guns or 30mm autocannons sporadically in the Ukrainian tank’s general direction.
The tank battle footage has gone viral. The video in Lee’s tweet garnered over 100,000 views since he posted it on Tuesday afternoon. Another Twitter user who shared the video earlier in the day has already garnered over 500,000 views.
