Woman left with ‘shark hand’ after doctors sew it inside stomach during surgery

A UK woman’s hand was left looking like a cartoon shark head after doctors sewed the appendage inside her stomach to fight a vicious infection. A video chronicling her “Jaws”-dropping mitt currently boasts over 75 million views on TikTok.

“I wasn’t aware my hand was going to look like a shark’s head ’til it had actually been released from my abdomen,” Sadie Kemp, 34, said of her bizarre affliction, the Mirror reported.

In the video, which she did “not expect to go viral,” the 34-year-old Petersborough native can be seen making her Megalodon-esque mitt “hum” the “Jaws” theme before dunking it in a bowl of water.

Reps. James Comer and John Katko, who serve as ranking members on the Oversight and Homeland Security committees respectively, wrote to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas requesting details on the apprehension of foreign nations with potential terror concerns.

“It is no secret that terrorists and other bad actors attempt to exploit weakness in border security and vetting to enter the United States,” the letter, first obtained by Fox News Digital, says.

“Reporting indicates that multiple individuals with terrorist ties have been recently apprehended after illegally crossing the border, and that such encounters may be increasing,” they write. “The American people deserve to know whether President Biden’s weak border policies are allowing terrorists to enter our homeland.”

Federal court partially blocks Biden admin’s ICE enforcement restrictions in response to GOP lawsuit

Attorneys General from Arizona, Ohio and Montana had sued the administration over its guidance for ICE agents that it first published shortly after entering office last year.

Meanwhile, of the 74,082 arrests between October 2020 and October 2021, only 47,755 took place after Feb. 18 when the new priorities were implemented.

Of removals, just 28,677 of the 59,011 deportations took place after Feb. 18. Of the arrests, 32% were immigrants who had been encountered by Border Patrol and issued Notices to Report to ICE.

In his ruling, Judge Michael Newman denied DHS’ motion to dismiss the case, and issued a preliminary injunction blocking the guidance in certain applications. Specifically, it blocks the use of the guidance to make custody decisions for illegal immigrants with pending order of removals, and the use of the guidance to authorize the release of an illegal immigrant with a final order of removal. The guidance can be used for other immigration enforcement determinations.

Pledge of Allegiance dispute: Dane Co. supervisor wants to eliminate it

Heidi Wegleitner has proposed removing the pledge as well as the word “prayer” from the board rules, which are currently undergoing a biannual redraft.

The board’s executive committee will consider Wegleitner’s proposal at a meeting Thursday, although newly elected supervisors would have the final say following the April 5 election.

“It just doesn’t feel like it’s appropriate for us to be doing, when in a pluralistic society we want to be inclusive and representative,” said Wegleitner. “At the end of the day, I think it’s divisive.”

‘A lot of hiding’: Senators kept from seeing Sentencing Commission records on Supreme Court nominee

The Biden administration is keeping more than 48,000 pages of records about Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson from senators reviewing her nomination, including documents about her time at the U.S. Sentencing Commission that she has made a central part of her professional story.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said Monday that 16,000 pages of substantive content has been released on Jackson, compared to the 48,000 pages withheld by the White House under the Presidential Records Act and FOIA exemptions.

Grassley, ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, revealed the obstruction during his opening statement at the Jackson Supreme Court confirmation hearings.

Back in business: Christianity’s second coming in Russia | 60 Minutes Australia

For the best part of a century, Russia was a soulless, godless place. The communists made quite sure of that.

With the Revolution came a grim determination to stamp out religion. Under Lenin, and particularly Stalin, Christians were enemies of the state, churches were destroyed, priests and nuns jailed, often murdered.

Even church bells and religious music were banned.

How times have changed. In the new Russia, there’s been a Christian revival, a kind of resurrection. The Orthodox Church is back in business, and its missionaries are out in force, spreading the word.

DOJ Spied on Journalists’ Emails Via Sealed Search Warrants & Non-Disclosure Orders

[NEW YORK – Mar. 22, 2022] Bombshell Microsoft Corporation legal documents released by Project Veritas reveal that President Biden’s Department of Justice filed a series of secret warrants, orders, and a subpoena to surreptitiously collect privileged, and constitutionally protected, communications and contacts of eight Project Veritas journalists from Microsoft Corporation.

The Department of Justice then muzzled Microsoft from disclosing these orders via a series of secrecy orders signed by magistrates.

The documents further reveal the DOJ then went behind U.S. District Court Judge, Analisa Torres’, back to obtain extensions on the gag-orders on Microsoft from magistrate judges after Judge Torres ruled Project Veritas was entitled to “journalistic privileges.”

Privacy advocates raise concern over Google’s access to Messages and Phone metadata

A new research paper reveals that Google’s Messages and Dialer/Phone apps have been collecting and sending scrambled user data to its servers, potentially violating the European Union’s GDPR.

Douglas Leith, a computer science professor at the Trinity College Dublin, claims in his “What Data Do The Google Dialer and Messages Apps on Android Send to Google?” paper that Google’s Messages and Dialer apps have been sending data to the company’s servers without taking explicit user consent.

More specifically, these apps collect information about user communications, including an SHA256 hash of the messages and their timestamp, phone numbers, incoming and outgoing call logs, call duration, and length.

Hunter Biden cover-up is ‘deeply disturbing’

The Australian’s columnist Dr Jennifer Oriel says the Hunter Biden cover-up is “deeply disturbing”.

“We know that the polling undertaken of Biden voters indicates that about 50 per cent didn’t know about the Hunter Biden laptop scandal,” Ms Oriel told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“We know 10 per cent said that if they’d known, they probably wouldn’t have voted for Joe Biden.

“So, this is a very substantial cover-up.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said late Monday he would consider dropping Ukraine’s requests for full NATO membership — a key Russian demand — in exchange for a cease-fire, the withdrawal of Russian troops and security guarantees, AP reports.

The big picture: Zelensky again called for direct talks with Putin, and said he would also be open to having discussions on Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014, and parts of the Donbas region held by Russian-backed separatists.

What he’s saying: “It’s a compromise for everyone: for the West, which doesn’t know what to do with us with regard to NATO, for Ukraine, which wants security guarantees, and for Russia, which doesn’t want further NATO expansion,” Zelensky said, per AP.

Tucker Carlson: We have a right to know what’s going on in Ukraine, but our leaders are lying

So, with a single command, Zelenskyy made it impossible for anybody to run against him for president. He did this not just to Opposition Platform for Life, but to ten other political parties that he believed were insufficiently loyal to him.

They’re all illegal now.

Obviously, there’s a war underway in Ukraine, and on that basis, Zelenskyy has declared martial law, but we must tell you, there is no evidence that the opposition parties he banned were aiding Russia in its war against Ukraine.
