US: Documents reveal feds paid news outlets to praise COVID vaccines
Only recently has it been revealed that one of the “vaccines” for COVID-19, pushed by the federal government and pharmaceutical industry on Americans, many unwillingly, over the past two years can cause acute kidney injury, acute flaccid myelitis, anti-sperm antibody positive, brain stem embolism, brain stem thrombosis, cardiac arrest, cardiac failure and cardiogenic shock.
And now it has been revealed that while Americans were facing those life-and-death threats, the federal government was paying news outlets $1 billion to promote the experimental shots.
The Blaze reported through a Freedom of Information Act procedure, it found that the government purchased advertising from ABC, CBS and NBC as well as cable news stations Fox News, CNN and MSNBC, “legacy media publications including the New York Post, the Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post, digital media companies like BuzzFeed News and Newsmax, and hundreds of local newspapers and TV stations.”
Chairman Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel, which has been active in fighting COVID-19 shot requirements, said, “People have been injured and died as a result of the most extensive propaganda campaign in U.S. history and it was paid for with our taxpayer dollars.
US: Father arrested for being maskless at son’s baseball game wins case, plans to sue school district
Chad Hummel, an attorney from Rochester, New York, was acquitted of criminal trespassing charges last week after a four-hour bench trial before Judge Joseph J. Valentino, the Daily Wire reports.
He faced up to 90 days in jail and professional licensing consequences after he was arrested on May 1, 2021, after refusing to wear a face covering at his son’s high school baseball game, even though he and his wife were seated at least 150 feet away from anyone else in attendance.
In previous statements to the Daily Wire, Hummel had demanded a public apology from the school district and the resignations of several officials, including the superintendent. But it appears he’s changed his mind since being acquitted of the criminal charges.
World: Ukrainian official who attended Russian peace talks mysteriously killed
The Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense (GUR) first revealed the death of Ukrainian intelligence operative Denis Kireyev in a Facebook post on March 5. Two other Ukrainian intelligence operatives, Oleksiy Dolya and Valeriy Chibineyev, were also killed over the weekend, the post stated.
Journalist Vladislav Davidzon tweeted that Kireyev was reportedly killed by the Ukrainian SBU intel service while resisting arrest after being suspected of treason by the Ukrainians.
The New Voice of Ukraine reported that Kireyev was secretly holding phone calls with Russia.
During a speech over the weekend, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy praised Ukrainian fighters pushing back on the Russian invasion for “not giving up” and said there is “no stopping the resistance.”
US: Armed intruders break into Joint Base Andrews during VP Harris visit
The base went into lockdown following reports that two individuals had driven a vehicle through a security checkpoint at the Main Gate around 9 p.m., a press release by Joint Base Andrews stated.
Press pool reports said that Harris boarded Marine Two at 8:51 pm and taxied for several minutes before taking off.
The individuals fled the vehicle on foot after the 316th Security Forces Group deployed barriers and stopped the vehicle. One of the suspects was arrested.
US: 5-year-old student physically attacks teacher who’s found dazed, dry heaving, verbally unresponsive before she’s taken away on stretcher, hospitalized
Two students, ages 4 and 5, began throwing objects around the classroom — and at teachers — and then started flipping over chairs, WTVJ-TV reported, citing a Pembroke Pines Police report.
One of the teachers took the 5-year-old boy into a smaller “cool down” room, and that’s where the student attacked her, WTVJ added, citing the report.
WPLG said the student used his fists and feet to hit his teacher, according to the report, adding that the incident took place just after 10 a.m. Wednesday.

US: January 6 Defendant Being Illegally Detained – Locked up More Than 80 Days With No Indictment
Denney’s case involves two distinct, major screwups. The first is that he was not afforded a Preliminary Hearing, to which he is entitled under the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure and the Constitution.
The second is that he has not been indicted by a grand jury within 30 days of his arrest, as required by the federal Speedy Trial Act.
Consequently, Denney’s detention has been unlawful since at least late January 2022.
On March 2, Denney’s lawyer filed a motion demanding Denny’s release. He argued that there was a clear violation in Denny’s case of Rule 5.1 – the requirement to conduct a Preliminary Hearing – which meant no judge had ever found probable cause to support the charges. He also pointed out that Denney had not yet been indicted.

US: High Court Narrows Reach of Law Targeting Career Criminals
The high court was ruling in the case of a man a lower court classified as a career criminal after counting the man’s burglary of 10 different public storage units on a single evening as 10 separate offenses. The high court said unanimously Monday that was an error.
The man’s 10 burglary convictions should have been treated as one event rather than separate crimes when considering whether he qualified for a stiffened sentence under the federal Armed Career Criminal Act, the justices concluded.
Without the stronger sentence, the man’s recommended sentence would have been approximately two years, but he was instead sentenced to nearly 16.
“Convictions arising from a single criminal episode … can count only once under ACCA,” Justice Elena Kagan wrote.

According to the Ukraine-based broadcaster Hromadske Int., reporter Guillaume Briquet was dragged from his car by Russian troops despite being clearly identified as a member of the press. The Russians then robbed him of his passport, 3,000 euros, personal belongings, a helmet, and the data from his camera and his laptop.
“Russian troops fired at and robbed Swiss journalist Guillaume Briquet. While working in the Mykolaiv region, his car with PRESS marking was shot, he was dragged from it,” the outlet tweeted.
“Russian invaders took away the passport, 3000 euros, personal belongings, a helmet, the material filmed on the camera, and the laptop. He is currently safe in a Ukrainian hospital.
Metro reported that Briquet, 58, was working as a photojournalist in southern Ukraine when his vehicle was fired at while driving by a small village on the way to the city of Mykolaiv.

Campaign records show that one of New York Gov. Kathy Hochul’s top donors is a Soviet-born billionaire with close ties to sanctioned Russian oligarchs, the New York Post reported.
Len Blavatnik, a 64-year-old aluminum and oil tycoon, donated $69,700 — the maximum allowed — to Hochul’s campaign, according to records filed with the state Board of Elections, the Post reported.
He donated $10,000 to Hochul’s campaign on Nov. 11, then $59,700 on Jan. 12, the Post reported.

US, Politics: White House Rejects Idea of Boosting Domestic Oil Production to Lower Gas Prices
The White House on Sunday rejected the argument that increasing domestic oil production would help lower gas prices, as the cost of oil moves toward record highs.
President Joe Biden’s administration is exploring diplomatic shifts with oil producing countries including Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, and Iran, as Russia’s latest Ukrainian offensive has disrupted oil markets.
But Psaki argued the only way to truly be free from high gas prices was to stop using oil.
“The only way to protect US over the long term is to become energy independent,” she wrote, pointing to Biden’s efforts on subsidizing wind and solar energy.
US: Seattle teachers union demands forced masking until May to ensure ‘sense of normalcy’
Washington state Gov. Jay Inslee, a Democrat, has lifted his state’s indoor mask mandate beginning March 11, including in schools, and King County will follow suit. Seattle Public Schools, however, announced in a recent statement that it would keep its mask mandate for students “until further notice.”
The district said it must negotiate with the Seattle Education Association (SEA) teachers union, “as required by the current collective bargaining agreement, to arrive at a mutually agreeable position regarding any permanent change to mask use requirements throughout the district.”
SEA President Jennifer Matter said the mask mandate shouldn’t be lifted until at least May 1, two weeks after students return from spring break.

National Guard Lt. Col. Astakhov Dmitry Mikhailovich, who was captured along with two other soldiers, said he had been told they were being sent to help Ukraine because it was “dominated by a fascist regime” and that “nationalists and Nazis had seized power.”
The captive begged for “mercy” from Ukrainians and said he was ready to “go to jail” for taking part in the brutal offensive.
“I feel shame that we came to this country,” the colonel said. “I don’t know why we were doing it. We knew very little. We brought sorrow to this land.”
