A fast-forming convoy of truckers from all six New England states will soon be making its way down the region’s coastline to join other truckers in Washington in a protest against COVID-19-related mandates and a myriad of other federal government directives, as well as some local ones.

Under the name Freedom Convoy Northeast, organizers of the trucking protest told The Epoch Times that they’ll be leaving from northern Maine on March 2 with plans to meet up with convoys in Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.

New York and Pennsylvania truckers will also be part of the northeast convoy, James Ambrosino—a trucker and lead organizer of the group—told The Epoch Times in an exclusive interview.

Russia-linked hacker gang claims ransomware attack on McDonald’s

The purported McDonald’s breach comes as the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency issues a ‘shields up’ alert to all American businesses and organizations, urging them to take measures to protect themselves from potential Russian cyberattack.

The group behind the Snatch ransomware refer to themselves as the ‘Snatch Team’ and all appear to be Russian-speaking, according to a 2019 report from security firm Sophos.

The report said that the group behind the ransomware appeared to have been active since the summer of 2018, though they have maintained a fairly low profile, executing few headline-making breaches.

The malware used by the hacker gang is highly sophisticated, and operates by rebooting victim computers in Safe Mode, in which most security measures are deactivated.

According to reports, it appears that the world’s big social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, have not taken any steps to block information coming out of official Russian sources in the wake of that country’s invasion of Ukraine.

Critics are calling the posts from Russian accounts “propaganda.”

BREAKING: Biden to spend weekend in Delaware as Ukraine-Russia crisis rages on

The president is scheduled to leave the White House today at 5:30 pm to Delaware, where he owns a home.

Press Secretary Jen Psaki added that Biden was traveling to Delaware to attend the memorial service of a family member.

The change of plans comes as Russia continues to battle with Ukraine, in an attempt to take control of Kyiv.

Biden has no publicly scheduled events for both Saturday and Sunday, the White House says.

The “YourAnonNews” Twitter account, which boasts 6.5 million followers, made the declaration on Thursday, saying that the hacking group is “currently involved in operations against the Russian Federation.”

“We want the Russian people to understand that we know it’s hard for them to speak out against their dictator for fear of reprisals,” the decentralized hacking collective said.

“We, as a collective want only peace in the world. We want a future for all of humanity. So, while people around the globe smash your internet providers to bits, understand that it’s entirely directed at the actions of the Russian government and Putin.”

NYC subway station attack: Horrifying video shows thief fracture woman’s skull while beating her with hammer

The victim was entering the Queens Plaza subway station in Queens just after 11:20 p.m. Thursday when the man approached her from behind, the New York Police Department (NYPD) said.

Startling video released by the department shows the 57-year-old woman slowly walking down the stairs into the subway station as the hooded suspect follows just steps behind her.

The NYPD video shows the man swinging the hammer repeatedly at the victim’s head. Police said he struck the woman in the head several times before she disappears out of the camera’s view. The brute then calmly takes her purse and saunters back up the stairs.

Despite southern border crisis, CBP agents asked to deploy to Europe for Ukraine conflict

In a memo sent Thursday morning and obtained by Just the News, CBP’s office of field operations sought volunteers willing to deploy immediately to Poland for “Operation Ukraine Support.”

The request comes six months after a similar effort to process Afghan refugees after the bungled U.S. exit from that country.

That operation was sharply criticized Friday by the Pentagon inspector general for poor Defense Department vetting that allowed 50 Afghans posing serious security risks to enter the United States.

The memo said volunteers need to be ready to deploy “within 2-3 days” of selection and should plan for about a month’s work overseas. It also offered a plan for COVID-19 mitigation that said workers need to either have the vaccine or natural immunity from a recent infection.

Ryan, who is a distant relative of Jackson, quickly praised Biden’s nomination to serve on the Supreme Court.

“Janna and I are incredibly happy for Ketanji and her entire family,” the Wisconsin Republican said.

Although Ryan and Jackson may not agree on politics, Ryan has been a staunch supporter of Jackson’s legal career.

Ryan testified in 2012 on behalf of Jackson when she was nominated to serve on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. He offered his “unequivocal” endorsement of Jackson.

How Putin is EXPLOITING the West’s oil & gas SELF-SABOTAGE

There’s several logical steps the Biden administration SHOULD be taking to end Putin’s current power grab in Russia.

Unfortunately though, when President Biden took office 14 months ago, he ended what President Trump had worked so hard to gain: America’s energy independence.

Now, thanks to Biden’s self-sabotaging decisions, Putin has taken advantage of the West’s oil weaknesses as he tramples over Ukraine.

So, is it possible to turn America’s oil, gas, and fossil fuel industries back around? Daniel Turner, Founder & Executive Director of Power The Future, joins Glenn to discuss…

Are Democrats Blind to the Effects of Their Ideas? (Pt. 3)| Dennis Prager | POLITICS | Rubin Report

In this clip Dennis explains how liberal policies like those enacted by LA county DA George Gascón only make crime and public safety much worse.

He shares how even an anti-Trump conservative like Jason Riley can see how Trump’s policies reduced black unemployment, yet black voters ignore this reality and continue to vote Democrat.

Why do the crimes of the left by the people like Joseph Stalin and Chairman Mao get forgotten or ignored and who will pay for the lockdown mistake and COVID tyranny?

Tucker: This is what we should be worried about

What’s happening in Ukraine, whatever its scale, and it’s not totally clear right now, but whatever it is, it’s a tragedy because war always is a tragedy and the closer you get to it, the more horrifying it seems. It’s the ugliest thing that men do. Ever.

World News:

Michael Savage condemns Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as a “puppet of George Soros”

I think people need to understand the history of the region, which goes back at least a thousand years, and this conflict did not begin eight years ago. It did not begin 80 years ago, it began a thousand years ago.

I would just like to say we need to understand who Zelensky is.

He is a puppet of George Soros. We have to understand the mindset of Putin, who is a dictator and a tyrant.

But how Zelensky challenged and provoked him for years now — ever since he was installed by Soros — provoked the Russian bear by sticking him over and over again.

Just two weeks ago, he said, we’re going to buy nuclear weapons, we’re going to fight Putin. And a State Department official in this country said if Putin invades, he’ll go home with body bags. This is not diplomacy.

Russian authorities arrested over 1,700 individuals Thursday as citizens took to the streets of Moscow, St. Petersburg and other major cities to denounce the invasion of Ukraine and demand an end to hostilities, according to OVD Info, an independent organization monitoring political persecutions.

But if Putin’s plan was to end the protests and deter further ones from popping up, he has failed miserably:

Fresh protests started Friday, with prominent Russians in the entertainment and business sectors joining at great personal and financial risk. A further 150 or so people were arrested Friday.

Motorist Miraculously Survives Crushing By Armored Vehicle

Insane video out of Ukraine shows an armored vehicle, reported to be Russian, crush a civilian vehicle, and amazingly, the driver survived, although needed to be rescued from the entrapping wreckage.

The armored vehicle appears to be a 9K35 Strela 10 (SA-13 Gopher) Self Propelled Air Defense System on an MT-LB chassis.

It’s not clear if the crushing was intentional. The tracked vehicle almost appears to slide out of control before running over top of the civilian car.
