Eric Adams blames ‘white’ media for negative media coverage

Adams, 61, met with Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie to discuss removing the cash bail system as the city faces a 40 percent surge in crime this year.
Although Adams claimed that the meeting was constructive, his visit was described as unsuccessful by news outlets after Assembly members said they would ‘hold the line’ on the bail reforms and Hochul announced that revisiting bail reform law would likely not be included in this year’s annual budget.
Adams suggested the negative coverage was due to a disconnect between New York City‘s second black mayor and white reporters and editors, and he threatened to stop speaking to the press and no longer accept off-topic questions if the negative coverage persisted.
Anti-Gun BLM Activist Quintez Brown Charged with Attempted Murder of Louisville Mayoral Candidate

WDRB reports that Brown “has been active with Black Lives Matter Louisville and the University of Louisville’s Youth Violence Prevention Research Center.”
Yahoo News notes that Brown allegedly entered Greenberg’s campaign headquarters and opened fire with a Glock 9mm handgun.
Greenberg was not injured in the attack “but one of the bullets struck his clothing.”
Brown was apprehended 10 minutes after the attack “less than a half-mile from campaign headquarters.”
On July 2, 2019, Brown wrote a Courier Journal column in which he criticized Kentucky’s constitutional carry law, suggesting it proves “your life doesn’t matter to gun-loving Republicans.”
In December 2021 Brown announced that he was running for Louisville’s Metro Council Dist. 5:
Clean Energy | Full Measure
Today, a hard look at one little-discussed reality of the multi-billion dollar green energy industry. Whether we’re talking wind, solar or electric, they’re marketed as environmentally-friendly and clean… the opposite of dirty, polluting fossil fuels.
But it’s not so simple. What we think of as clean power can take a surprising toll on the environment. We examine the difficult equation when it comes to clean and green.
Exclusive: D.C. Jail Ignores House Judiciary Member’s Query About January 6 Inmates

Steube told Breitbart News that he did get a response from the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), but that his inquiry to the D.C. agency has gone unanswered. His letter was addressed to Michael Carvajal, Director of BOP, and Quincy Booth, Director of D.C. Department of Corrections.
In fact, when Breitbart News contacted the D.C. Department of Corrections, staff members said that Quincy Booth was no longer director of the department.
According to the department’s website, Thomas Faust, who previously worked at the D.C. Department of Corrections, took over as acting director on January 24, 2022. The announcement added, “Director Booth will continue to lead the Department and will serve in an advisory role.”
Breitbart News sent Steube’s letter to the new director and attempted several times to call and email the department to see if the Congressman’s questions would be addressed. The department did not respond to Breitbart News’ inquiries.
Survey: Majority of Americans Support Canadian Truckers, Would Support Similar Movement in U.S.

Fifty-nine percent, overall, said they support the movement, and of those, 42 percent “strongly” support it. Those who support it include 77 percent of Republicans, 60 percent of independents, and 40 percent of Democrats.
When asked if American truckers should stage similar protests in the U.S. to protest remaining coronavirus restrictions at home, 55 percent said they would support it, compared to 38 percent who said they would oppose. Notably, a majority of Republicans (74 percent) and independents (57 percent) said they would support such protests, but 57 percent of Democrats said they would not.
The survey, taken February 13-14, 2022, among 1,000 likely voters, has a margin of error of +/- 3 percent.
3-4 Million New Illegal Immigrants in US Under Biden so Far
An estimated 3 million to 4 million illegal border crossings and overstays took place last year, meaning the population growth of illegal immigrants in America is bigger than almost all of the nation’s largest cities, Executive Director Dale Wilcox with the Immigration Reform Law Institute told The New American magazine’s Alex Newman from the U.S.-Mexico border.
Just in the month prior to the We Stand America event there were nearly 200,000 apprehensions at the border. “It is a crisis,” he said, adding that there were over 2 million apprehensions during all of 2021.
Wilcox and his organization, which are serving as outside counsel to various states in their federal lawsuits against the Biden administration’s lawless policies, are working to get federal laws enforced.
3400 Migrants Apprehended over Super Bowl Weekend in One Texas Border Sector

Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Jason D. Owens tweeted a report that his agents apprehended more than 3,400 migrants over the weekend where most Americans were preparing to watch Super Bowl LVI.
In addition, he said his agents disrupted 27 smuggling attempts leading to the arrest of 142 people and prosecuted 24 rescue operations.
The 24 rescues included a dramatic rescue captured on video where Eagle Pass Station agents risked their own lives to rescue a Haitian family of three. The video captures agents performing CPR on the father who had been submerged in the Rio Grande for several minutes. Their immediate response saved the lives of all three family members, Breitbart Texas reported.
Three Dead, Four Injured in Suspected Human Smuggling Crash in Texas near Border

The crash occurred in the pre-dawn hours Tuesday morning after Texas DPS troopers attempted to stop the vehicle suspected of hauling smuggled migrants. DPS officials confirmed the truck was stolen. The crash occurred on U.S. Highway 57 about four miles east of La Pryor in Zavala County.
“This matches all the profiles we see in regards to human smuggling activities,” Lt. Oliverez told Breitbart. The driver failed to yield to the trooper’s emergency lights and crashed after attempting to pass another vehicle on the righthand shoulder. He lost control of the truck carrying seven people crossing the highway and rolled multiple times.
An official with the Zavala County Sheriff’s Office told Breitbart he believes the driver is among those pronounced dead at the scene. DPS officials said they are still working on confirming this information.
Biden to Crack Down on Arrests of Illegal Aliens in American Communities

A class-action lawsuit, initially brought by a number of open borders groups, demanded recourse for illegal aliens who were arrested by ICE agents as part of “collateral arrests” in traffic stops and often without a judicial warrant.
As a result, a settlement was approved this month by the District Court for the Northern District of Illinois that will hamper ICE agents’ ability to arrest illegal aliens, particularly in the Midwest.
Biden’s DHS is ordered to issue a new nationwide policy that requires ICE agents to consider a variety of factors before arresting illegal aliens in traffic stops and without a warrant. Particularly, ICE agents will only be allowed to make traffic stop arrests if they have reasonable suspicion to believe that illegal aliens are in the vehicle.
Twitter Bans Legal Immigrant Angel Mom Whose Son Was Killed by Illegal Alien

Coulter, a naturalized American citizen from Germany, had been a vocal online advocate for the American victims of illegal alien crimes as her son was killed in 2012 by illegal alien Juan Zacarias Tzun — a twice-convicted drunk driver whom sanctuary state California officials failed to deport from the United States.
After spending less than 90 days in jail for killing Dominic Durden, Tzun was turned over to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency and deported to his native Guatemala.
Since her son’s death, Coulter has joined forces with Angel Families to advocate on behalf of illegal alien crime victims.
Late last week, Coulter said she attempted to post on Twitter, but the social media platform would not allow her. She then realized that her account had been suspended with no explanation except an email claiming that she violated the corporation’s “rules against ban evasion.”

US accuses Zero Hedge of spreading Russian propaganda. Website fires back at ‘hit piece.’

In a written response published Tuesday, Zero Hedge called the AP article a “hit piece” and said it has “been singled out for pursuing non-establishment groupthink.”
“Well, now we’ve done it — we’ve angered the CIA, and for what? For publishing views that challenge the conventional narrative,” Zero Hedge wrote.
The post noted that there is “no actual accusation that Zero Hedge works directly with anyone tied to Russia or its intelligence apparatus.” The officials quoted by the AP did not say whether they believed Zero Hedge knew of any alleged links to spy agencies and they did not allege a direct link between the website and Russia.
Zero Hedge told the AP it seeks to “publish a wide spectrum of views that cover both sides of a given story.”

Baldwin is one of several defendants named in the wrongful death suit.
Attorneys for the Hutchins family said she would still be alive if crew members had not cut corners.
Tuesday’s suit was filed in the First Judicial District Court of New Mexico on behalf of Ms Hutchins’ husband Matthew and son Andros, and seeks unspecified damages.
At a news conference, lawyers for the Hutchins family also presented an animated re-enactment of the shooting.
Hillary IGNORES question about Durham claims she spied on Trump

Hillary Clinton refused to answer questions about allegations that her allies spied on the Trump campaign as the controversy continued to engulf her Tuesday.
Exclusive pictures and video obtained by DailyMail.com show a stoney faced Clinton silently waving away repeated questions of whether she spied on Donald Trump.
She refused to say when or if she planned to comment. Clinton was arriving at her daughter Chelsea’s Manhattan apartment mid morning.
The former first lady and secretary of state is slated as the keynote speaker at Thursday’s New York state Democratic convention.
Bailing on the New York Prison System: Murder Suspect Released Due to Lack of Security at Rikers Prison

A murder suspect, Darius Mungin, 20, has been released on bail. That alone is not necessarily new but it is the reason that is alarming.
Mungin was released due to the utter lack of security at Rikers Island where he was attacked repeatedly by gang members. Mungin is charged with attempted murder in an Aug. 30 shooting that happened outside a Manhattan deli where a man was shot in the chest.
The office Manhattan District Attorney expressed sympathy for his situation in agreeing to lower his bail to allow him to be released. I am less opposed to the bail as I am to the fact that New York officials cannot maintain a prison with a minimal level of security.
Donald Trump: Clinton spying is ‘FAR BIGGER’ than Watergate
New information from the Durham investigation that criminalizes Hillary Clinton campaign staffers is just the ‘foundation,’ Former President Donald Trump tells Glenn.
In fact, he says, people ‘at the very, very top’ likely knew about the spying and the lying as well. Plus, he says, this scandal is ‘far bigger’ than Watergate.
But still, regardless of the ‘verifiable’ information that continues to damn team Clinton, the media refuses to adequately cover the story:
‘It’s incredible,’ President Trump says. So, WHY did all of this happen? And WHY does the far-left continue to push America towards a direction similar to Venezuela?
Glenn explains what he believes is the ‘Rosetta Stone’ for ALL of it.

Donald Trump: Ron DeSantis ‘A Good Guy Doing a Good Job’

“He’s a good guy and he’s doing a good job,” Trump said in an interview with Michael Savage on Monday.
Trump commented on DeSantis after Savage asked if the former president would consider choosing him as a running mate if he ran again in 2024.
“I would consider a lot of people,” Trump replied, noting that Republicans had a wide range of great leaders in the country.
The former president reminded Savage and his audience that he endorsed DeSantis in the Florida Republican primary for governor when he was only getting single digits in the polling.

Four Senate Republicans Bail Out Democrats to Advance Controversial Biden FDA Nominee

The Senate voted to invoke cloture, or limit debate, to advance the confirmation of the head of the FDA for a second time.
The chamber invoked cloture 49-45 after Republicans gave Democrats enough votes to advance the Biden nominee’s confirmation.
Sens. Roy Blunt (R-MO), Susan Collins (R-ME), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), and Mitt Romney (R-UT) voted in favor of advancing Califf’s nomination.
Califf’s nomination was controversial enough for many Democrats that Senate Democrats across the political spectrum voted against Califf, including Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WV), Maggie Hassan (D-NH), and Ed Markey (D-MA).
The List: 17 Senate Republicans Join Democrats to Demand Joe Biden Import More Foreign Workers

On Monday, 17 Senate Republicans signed a letter with 17 Senate Democrats that urges Biden to “release the maximum allowable number of additional” H-2B foreign visa workers to inflate the labor market despite more than 12 million Americans remaining jobless, though all want full-time employment.
The senators also asked Biden to speed up the process so U.S. employers could get foreign visa workers quicker into blue-collar American jobs, often in construction, landscaping, the tourism industry, and other occupations.
“Without meaningful H-2B cap relief, many seasonal businesses will be forced to scale back operations, cancel or default on contracts, lay off full-time U.S. workers, and, in some cases, close operations completely,” the senators wrote.
Biden Had Firm at Center of Trump Hacking Scandal on Campaign Payroll

The Biden campaign’s payments raise questions about whether Joffe continued snooping on Trump in the most recent election.
The Biden and Clinton campaigns are the only two presidential committees to have ever paid Neustar, according to Federal Election Commission records.
Biden’s campaign paid Neustar $18,819 on Sept. 29, 2020, the records show. The Clinton campaign paid the firm $3,000 in May 2015 for mobile phone services. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee paid $3,000 to Neustar in 2017. Neustar executives and staffers contributed $17,906 to Biden’s campaign, FEC records show.
It is unclear what Neustar executives knew of Joffe’s activities on behalf of the Clinton campaign.

France’s Zemmour Boasts of Trump Call in Run-up to Presidential Election

Éric Zemmour who is representing the political party Reconquête (reconquest) in the French Presidential elections has boasted to the press of having a “long” conversation with Donald Trump.
Zemmour, 63, claimed that Trump, 75, told him that if he wishes to win the election then he should “never change” his political viewpoints or “give in” to the media and other pressures, as well as ensure he be himself and not put on a political act, BMTV reports.
Trump also apparently warned Zemmour that the media was going to turn on him as they had done to Trump throughout his Presidency – Zemmour is already referred to as “far-right” in a range of press outlets.
Israel’s Own Canada-Style ‘Freedom Convoy’ Blocks Road to Jerusalem

Signs reading “cancel the mask mandate,” “no more restrictions, going back to normal,” “new world order,” were hung from cars while protesters on foot beat drums, chanted slogans and even blew shofars – or rams horns – in front of the Knesset building — all in a bid to call on the government to end the pandemic restrictions and remove Israel from a state of emergency.
“Freedom doesn’t look like this,” read one sign accompanied with an image of a girl in a mask.
“I’m here for my children, so that they can have a better world,” one of the protesters told the Haaretz daily.
Sierra Club – Climate Bullies and Ecodictatorship
The Sierra Club has posted an article claiming that people must stand up to the ‘bullies’ of the freedom convoy that is presently parked in downtown Ottawa.
This is rather hypocritical of the Sierra Club, since they have a long track record of bullying energy projects, investors, banks, and even Friends of Science Society.
People have expressed concerns about the convoy damaging our economy, and about foreign funding. When we examine the facts of the Tar Sands Campaign, Canada has lots billions…hundreds of billions of dollars in investment, and the Tar Sands Campaign groups were foreign-funded for hundreds of millions of dollars, according to the forensic audit by Deloitte for the Allan Inquiry.
Belgian Police Block Freedom Convoy from EU Capital as Crackdowns Worsen

Vehicles looking to take part in the EU’s Freedom Convoy protest have been targeted by Belgian police, with authorities redirecting suspicious traffic to a car park north of Brussels in the hopes of curbing the anti-lockdown demo.
While authorities have permitted a so-called “static demonstration” to occur at the car park near the Brussels Expo building, the ban on any Canada-style anti-lockdown protest in the city proper remains banned by authorities.
According to a Euronews report, over 1,300 vehicles had gathered in Lille — near the Belgian border — for the protest, but police had redirected any suspicious traffic looking to enter the country away from the European capital and towards the designated car park.
China Imposes Local Ban on Anti-Cough Drugs, Locks Down City of 10+ Million over Coronavirus

“Suzhou in East China’s Jiangsu Province, home to over 10 million people … has suspended schools and parts of its medical services after eight COVID-19 [Chinese coronavirus] cases were found in the city on Monday,” according to the newspaper.
Several Suzhou hospitals “halted outpatient and emergency medical services” on the evening of February 13 after the city detected four new coronavirus cases in the city, according to the state-run China Central Television (CCTV). Health officials reported four additional cases of the disease on February 14, bringing Suzhou’s coronavirus caseload to eight at press time.
Communist Party officials in charge of Suzhou suspended “online and in-person sales of anti-fever medicine as well as part of hospitals’ outpatient and emergency medical services” on February 13, China’s Caixin Global news platform reported on Monday.
Russia Claims Ukraine Standoff Is Over

Russian officials taunted the Biden administration by claiming the redeployment “humiliated” Western war hysterics, while Ukrainian and NATO military officials said they did not see any immediate sign of Russian forces actually pulling back from the border.
Russia’s state-run Tass news agency quoted Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov’s claim that Russian troops were packing their gear and preparing to depart on Wednesday morning.
“As combat training measures are coming to a close, the troops, as is always the case, will conduct combined marches to their permanent garrisons.
Saunas, haircuts, hot meals: Ottawa protesters set up for the long haul

Sandwiched between a baseball diamond and a detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the encampment offers meals, shelter, warm clothes and restrooms for the protesters. It also has barber services and two saunas.
Jeff, a retired trucker who arrived in Ottawa 17 days ago, said a shared sense of purpose has only increased the protesters’ resolve.
“There’s a sense of unity here – and I think it’s only increased since yesterday. When you’ve seen the light, it’s hard to [go] back to the dark.”

‘Trump was right’ about Clinton spying
Former US President Donald Trump was “telling the truth” about the Democrats spying on his campaign, but the American media “wouldn’t have a bar of it,” according to Sky News host Paul Murray. “They spied on his campaign,” Mr Murray said. “It is extraordinary, it is an unbelievable overreach.”
Commentary/Opinion:
CarbonTAX-o-phobia
Does the media suffer from “Carbon TAX-o-phobia? The media seem to be afraid to say anything about the carbon tax when they report on rising prices and the cost of living.
They never mention the carbon tax. In this simple video, we do a tiny bit of math to show how the carbon tax is cumulative, and how the pennies add up in no time.
Worst of all, scientist have now come to the conclusion that carbon dioxide is not the control knob that can ‘fine tune’ climate, so taxing carbon dioxide will not stop climate change. Why are you being taxed for it at all?

Media Vapors: How Special Counsel John Durham Has Triggered a Media Meltdown

Pediatricians call it “breath-holding spells.” It was when children hold their breath when upset until they experience syncope, or passing out. The media in Washington appears close to a collective faint over the recent filings of Special Counsel John Durham.
We are now in the second syncopal phrase: loss of media consciousness.
There is no way to cover this story without many admitting that it facilitated a false narrative created by the Clinton campaign, including attacking those who suggested that the Clinton campaign would ever engage in such disreputable conduct.
