Army to ‘Immediately’ Begin Separating Soldiers Not Complying with Vaccine Mandate
Army Secretary Christine Wormuth issued a directive to commanders to initiate the separations against any soldier who has not complied with the vaccination order and does not have a pending or approved exemption request, the Army said. The order applies to active duty members and reservists on federal active-duty orders, as well as cadets.
“Army readiness depends on Soldiers who are prepared to train, deploy, fight and win our nation’s wars,” Wormuth said, according to an Army press release. “Unvaccinated Soldiers present risk to the force and jeopardize readiness. We will begin involuntary separation proceedings for Soldiers who refuse the vaccine order and are not pending a final decision on an exemption.”
Wormuth’s directive, Army Directive 2022-02, says commanders are to begin separation proceedings as expeditiously as possible.
Attorneys Report Spike in Calls for Help From Families of Patients Hospitalized With COVID-19
Attorneys around the country report an alarming uptick in calls for help from families of patients hospitalized with COVID-19.
Some say they’ve talked to family members who were arrested after trying to visit a loved one or to speak with a doctor after communications with the hospital were cut off.
Attorneys told The Epoch Times about a wide variety of instances of what they call abuse, including hospitals preventing visits from family, failing to provide nutrition and fluids, and coercing patients to agree to treatments they’d already refused multiple times—such as being placed on a ventilator.
Gainesville, Florida, attorney Jeff Childers has been so alarmed by the cases he’s seen, he posted a tutorial online with tips on how to navigate the legalities surrounding hospitalization with COVID-19.
NSA broke its own rules to spy on Americans, new IG report finds
The National Security Agency (NSA) didn’t follow some of its own required procedures meant to protect the privacy of U.S. citizens, a new report by the NSA’s Inspector General revealed Monday.
In its semi-annual report to Congress, the Office of the Inspector General for the NSA found failures in the agency’s procedures under Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence and Surveillance Act (FISA).
The inspector general’s report said evaluation efforts “revealed several issues that, if not addressed, have the potential to impact the effectiveness of the Agency’s internal controls used to protect the civil liberties and privacy rights of USPs.”

US truckers slam Facebook for removing page organizing DC freedom convoy: ‘Censorship at its finest’
American truckers are following Canada’s lead and organizing a protest against vaccine mandates. The U.S. group’s Facebook page, however, was removed early Wednesday in a move that the organizer called “censorship at its finest.”
The group, titled “Convoy to D.C. 2022,” acted as a place for truckers to plan and coordinate their trek from California to Washington, D.C.
Jeremy Johnson, who set up the Facebook group, said his personal account was also removed, prompting him to contact a civil rights attorney to discuss the next steps.
“They like to silence people that speak the truth,” Johnson said of his Facebook ban.
NIH spent $2.3M injecting dogs with cocaine in experiment related to overdose research: report
The White Coat Waste Project (WCWP), a watchdog group aiming to stop certain taxpayer-funded experiments on animals, on Monday published documents they obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request showing the research agency disbursed $2.3 million to the project.
“The objective of this study is to evaluate the potential adverse cardiovascular effects that may result when [redacted] (test article) and cocaine (interaction article) are administered together to male Beagle dogs,” the study obtained by White Coat Waste states. It also explains the experiment was designed to show how the effects of cocaine in the body can be altered with medication.
After the study, beagles were either sent back to the Charles River animal colony, where NIH purchased the dogs “for future use,” or they were “euthanized,” documents state.

Johns Hopkins Study Finds COVID Lockdowns Ineffective at Saving Lives
The researchers conducted a meta-analysis of 24 studies examining government mandates that restrict people’s freedoms, including school and business closures, stay-at-home orders, travel bans, and face mask requirements. The results of the meta-analysis indicated that lockdowns in the United States and Europe have reduced deaths from COVID-19 by just 0.2 percent.
“We find little to no evidence that mandated lockdowns in Europe and the United States had a noticeable effect on COVID-19 mortality rates,” the authors of the study wrote.
An analysis of studies that focused just on stay-at-home orders found they were 2.9 percent effective at reducing mortality. Studies that gathered data on a broad number of government-imposed pandemic measures actually indicated that stay-at-home orders marginally increased COVID deaths.

Airbnb Bans America First Proponent Michelle Malkin For Speaking At Conservative Conference
In the February 2nd op-ed penned by Malkin, she decried her banning from Airbnb as being emblematic of “grim reality of life in Woke America 2022” referencing her appearance at the mid-November conference dubbed the 2021 American Renaissance Conference.
In the days leading up to the conference hosted by American Renaissance, local media reports were already ahead of the curve labeling the conference as being a “white nationalist group” that “will again descend upon middle Tennessee for its yearly conference.”
Furthermore, the SPLC has a dedicated page on their website to American Renaissance, attributing to the group the label of “SPLC Designated Hate Group.”
Less than two weeks after Malkin appeared at the conference, where she delivered a speech detailing her “three decades of reporting on the nation’s demographic and cultural deterioration,” Malkin shared the contents of a November 24th email she’d received from Airbnb informing her she’d been banned from the service.
Black Lives Matter ‘delinquent’ on financial disclosures, risks tax-exempt status, California AG warns: report
At the end of 2020, Black Lives Matter said in an impact report that it raised $90 million, spent $8.4 million in operating expenses, distributed $21.7 million in grants to 33 other organizations, and closed the year with a $60 million balance.
The group’s 2019 IRS 990 report, which was filed in Oct. 2020, showed no revenue, expenses, or assets whatsoever before 2020 began. This is likely because, as the Washington Examiner reported, Black Lives Matter was not officially registered as a charity with the IRS until late 2020, and before that it funneled donations through other liberal charities.
No 990 report is available on the IRS website for Black Lives Matter in the 2020 tax year, though it typically takes a year or more after the end of a year for such reports to become publicly available. It is not clear whether Black Lives Matter failed to file a 990 form with the IRS or if it simply neglected to provide a copy to California, as the state’s law requires.

Center for COVID Control Faked COVID-19 Test Results: Lawsuit
The Center for COVID Control claimed to provide COVID-19 tests throughout Washington state for free and promised to provide results within 48 hours. But in reality, the company gathered patient insurance information and provided “invalid COVID-19 test results or no results at all,” according to the 14-page suit, filed in King County Superior Court by Washington state Attorney General Robert Ferguson.
Former employees told prosecutors that the company, which lacked licenses to operate in much of the state, was not able to process all of the tests it received and owners are accused of refusing to hire more workers.
Instead, the company allegedly stored tests in garbage bags for over a week rather than refrigerating them and backdated collection dates so the samples could still be processed.

South Dakota Legislature Passes Ban on Boys Competing in Girls’ Sports
Athletes in primary schools and colleges in South Dakota will have to compete in sports with peers of their own gender if Gov. Kristi Noem signs legislation that lawmakers in both state chambers have passed.
South Dakota’s House of Representatives, in a 50–17 vote on Tuesday, approved the bill, Senate Bill 46.
No Democrats voted for the bill and 10 Republicans voted against it.
The state’s upper chamber passed the legislation in January with a 26–7 vote.

Top Israeli officials this week decided to abolish the country’s “green pass” COVID-19 vaccine passport for restaurants, hotels, gyms, and theaters.
Israel, now one of the most vaccinated and boosted nations in the world, last year became one of the first countries in the world to impose such a mandate.
