US: Man smears poop on woman in NYC subway station in sickening video

A man smeared human feces on a woman’s face in an unprovoked rush-hour attack inside a Bronx subway station, sickening new video shows.
The 43-year-old victim was sitting on a bench on the southbound platform of the Wakefield–241st Street station around 5:15 p.m. Feb. 21 when a man began walking toward her, holding a black plastic bag, according to cops and the clip released late Sunday.
Then, without saying a word, he smashed the vile contents of the bag in her face, and then smeared it on the back of her head, the footage shows.
The assailant took off after the attack, and cops were still looking for him Monday morning.
US: School newspaper article gives pre-teen students advice for BLM protests, offers different rules for white students — like don’t speak

A Minneapolis middle school’s student paper is under fire after it advised kids how to participate in Black Lives Matter protests — and specified certain rules for white pupils to follow.
The article stated, “Wear nondescript clothing. Even if you aren’t breaking the law, law enforcement may still try to come after you, in these situations it’s better to be paranoid than careless.”
“When it comes to Black Lives Matter protests, if you’re not black, remember that you’re there to show your support and amplify black voices,” the article continued. “ESPECIALLY if you’re white, if they’re offering the megaphone for anyone to speak, it’s not for you. You are here to listen and to show support.”
Covid: mRNA shots raise the risk of Covid infection in children under 12

Six weeks after becoming “fully vaccinated,” kids under 12 are 40 percent MORE likely to be infected Covid than those who never received mRNA shots, a huge New York state database shows.
The mRNA jabs provide some protection for the first two weeks of “full vaccination.” But it declines rapidly, turns negative by the fifth week, and more sharply negative in the sixth.
“Negative” vaccine efficacy means that vaccinated people are more likely to become infected. It is not clear how high the increased risk may become for young children, since the database only covered six weeks and the trend worsened each week.
Although many other studies have shown the vaccines are largely useless against Omicron infection in adults after four months, this database makes clear they are even more useless even more quickly for children.
Commentary: The Tenuous Balance of Freedom and Justice | CLIP | American Thought Leaders
James Lindsay explains the struggle within modern Marxist ideology to synthesize the concepts of ‘freedom’ and ‘justice,’ explaining that the ideas are essentially dialectical opposites of each other.
Lindsay charges progressive leaders with engaging in doublespeak by claiming that more restrictions and rules are needed in order to achieve freedom, especially when it concerns COVID-19 mandates.
This type of thinking, he argues, is illogical, and a product of a Marxist “inversion of reality.”
World: Ukraine-Russia conflict intensifies
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has intensified as there have been accusations of lies, genocide, and comparisons to World War II.
Peace talks between Ukraine and Russia on the Belarus border have ended and officials will return to their capitals for further consultations before resuming a second round of discussions.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had hoped the talks would establish a ceasefire and appealed to the European Union to allow Ukraine to gain membership.
Politics: Biden’s SCOTUS nominee once argued judicial system is ‘unfair’ to sexual predators

Jackson argued the unconstitutionality of certain preventative measures adopted as common practices by state governments and applied to confirmed sex offenders.
State laws across the United States widely use preventative measures like offender registration with local law enforcement, DNA identification, requirements to notify neighbors and surrounding community, and others to reduce the likelihood of a second offense.
These, Brown argued, aren’t only preventative—they’re punitive. In other words, they’re used as a punishment that goes beyond a court’s verdict for their specific crime; it’s a “punishment” applied more generally to all sex offenders.
And that, Jackson argued, might not be constitutional.
US: Seattle journalist threatened by Antifa and far-left extremists over his reporting on homeless encampments

“This is a regular recurrence and it’s problematic for journalists,” Choe said. “If you’re not with them, or you don’t report the way they want you to report a particular story… they make you public enemy number one,” Choe said in an interview with The Post Millennial.
On Twitter, various Antifa accounts also discussed making a dossier on Choe that would disseminate information about him along with his photographs.
One of the Twitter users agreed with the proposal, calling Choe “a danger to our community,” echoing language used by Antifa to legitimize and incite threats of violence against Ngo.
US: WATCH: Nevada governor accosted by ranting conspiracy theorists threatening to hang him

The confrontation appears to have taken place at the Lindo Michoacan restaurant, although the date is unclear, and the video shows a man with a shaved head and a beard approach the governor and put his left arm around him, reported the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The man continues ranting profanity at the governor as he exits the restaurant with his wife Kathy, and a second man joins the harangue.
The two men keep taunting Sisolak and making references to hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malarial drug that some conservatives believe is a cure for COVID-19, and China.
Commentary/Opinion: 5 facts that DON’T MAKE SENSE about Putin, Russia, & Ukraine
Glenn begins by giving a detailed update on the current struggle between Russia & Ukraine: which countries have backed Putin, new ways the world is standing against Russia, and what Ukrainian politicians predict may be coming next.
But then, Glenn details 5 facts about the invasion that just don’t ‘make sense.’
For example, why didn’t Putin immediately destroy internet access in Ukraine to confuse both citizens and their military?
Or, why did world leaders wait several days before enacting SWIFT sanctions? ‘Maybe it is just me…But something feels very wrong,’ Glenn says.
US: US Trucker Convoy Swells as It Moves Across Country to DC

Convoy organizers say they are against vaccine mandates, the federal government’s continuation of a national emergency declaration over COVID-19, and other actions from President Joe Biden’s administration.
Organizers have been sending drones up periodically to capture estimates of vehicles traveling with the group, which has drawn thousands of people to roadsides as the convoy passes by.
The convoy stopped in Big Bend, Oklahoma on Sunday night and was prepared to travel to Missouri on Feb. 28. It is on track to arrive in Washington, where authorities are reinstalling fencing around the Capitol, on March 5.

US: New York City Mayor to Scrap Private Business Vaccine Mandate, School Mask Rules

But Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat, is still not rescinding the mandate that forces workers to get vaccinated, as New York continues to be the most reluctant locale in the nation in rolling back harsh rules imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, a fellow Democrat, earlier Sunday said the state was dropping its school mask mandate, citing how the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention abruptly and drastically changed a key measure influencing mask mandates across the country.

US: COVID Vaccine-Induced Myocarditis Cited by Medical Examiners in Death of Two Boys

The boys, whose names have not been released to the public, were found dead in their beds a few days after they were vaccinated.
Neither boy had a history of medical problems and only one of the two boys complained of any symptoms, namely headache and stomach ache, in the days preceding death. Notably, signs of cardiac distress were absent for both boys before they died.
The Connecticut and Michigan medical examiners, who authored the study detailing autopsy findings, identified signs of an unusual type of myocarditis with hyper-eosinophilic myocytes in “these post-vaccine hearts,” which occurs in the presence of excessive inflammation.
Rather than the typical hallmark of myocarditis, the medical examiners wrote that,

Politics: ‘State of the Union Is Disunity and Division’: AP Rips Biden Before Tuesday Speech

One day before Biden is set to deliver the State of the Union Address, the Associated Press (AP) preempted his speech with an article describing the actual state of the country as one of “disunity, funk and peril.”
The article slammed Biden for his leadership during a time when the nation’s “strength is being sharply tested from within — and now from afar.”
The outlet slammed Biden’s state of the union as weak, hinting he should not declare, “The state of our union is strong,” in Tuesday’s speech.
“It’s a state of exhaustion from the pandemic,” the outlet stated. “It’s about feeling gouged at the grocery store and gas pump. It’s so low that some Americans, including prominent ones, are exalting Russian President Vladimir Putin in his attack on a democracy,” the article said, and drew comparisons with Jimmy Carter’s time in office, when Carter said the nation was in the midst of a ‘crisis of confidence.’
US: Supreme Court Weighing Challenge to EPA’s Climate Change Powers

The Supreme Court Monday will be hearing oral arguments in a case challenging the Environmental Protection Agency’s power to fight greenhouse gas emissions from the nation’s power plants.
The case of West Virginia v. EPA pits attorneys general from West Virginia and other GOP-led states against power utilities, public health groups, and the Biden administration, reports ABC News.
Its outcome may determine if the United States will be able to meet the government’s goal of a complete shift to the use of clean energy sources by 2035, as well as a call to cut carbon pollution by 50% within the next eight years.
World: 7 FAKE NEWS stories coming out of Ukraine

In just the last 48 hours dozens of stories, images, narratives and videos have circulated as being taken from the fighting in Ukraine, a huge percentage of which are fake.
Now, some of it could be attributed to misunderstandings, mistaken identity, misattribution…but many and most are likely deliberate deceptions designed to provoke a response. Let’s dive right in.
1. “THE GHOST OF KIEV”
World: Ukraine and Russia meet at Belarus border but no ceasefire agreement reached

Ukraine has said the key issue for the talks is an immediate ceasefire and the withdrawal of Russian troops. Russia has signaled it wants to discuss Ukraine adopting “neutral status.”
The Kremlin has signaled it wants to hold talks where Zelenskyy will discuss “neutral status” for Ukraine, in effect hoping to negotiate Kyiv’s terms of surrender. But Zelenskyy’s administration has said while it wants talks to end the killing in Ukraine, it will not make concessions.
“We will not surrender, we will not capitulate, we will not give up a single inch of our territory,” Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine’s foreign minister, said at a press conference.
Commentary: War Propaganda About Ukraine Becoming More Militaristic, Authoritarian, and Reckless

When critical faculties are deliberately turned off based on a belief that absolute moral certainty has been attained, the parts of our brain armed with the capacity of reason are disabled. That is why the leading anti-Russia hawks such as former Obama Ambassador Michael McFaul and others are demanding that no “Putin propagandists” (meaning anyone who diverges from his views of the conflict) even be permitted a platform, and why many are angry that Facebook has not gone far enough by banning many Russian media outlets from advertising or being monetized.
The purpose of these points, and indeed of this article, is not to persuade anyone that they have formed moral, geopolitical and strategic views about Russia and Ukraine that are inaccurate.
It is, instead, to highlight what a radically closed and homogenized information system most Americans are consuming. No matter how convinced one is of the righteousness of one’s views on any topic, there should still be a wariness about how easily that righteousness can be exploited to ensure that no dissent is considered or even heard, an awareness of how often such overwhelming societal consensus is manipulated to lead one to believe untrue claims and embrace horribly misguided responses.

World: UkrainianTroops Knock Out Russian Tigr-M Convoy In Kharkiv
Ukrainian troops successfully ambushed a Russian column of Tigr-M armored trucks in north east Kharkiv on Feb. 27, 2022.
At least four of the Russian vehicles were immobilized and abandoned in the attack. Based on the fighting shown in the footage, the surviving Russian troops dismounted and took up positions in a nearby building.
The video doesn’t show any bodies, blood, or clear indication of troop casualties from either side. Online reports suggest this incident was part of an attempted Russian assault to take the city, but the advance was thwarted by the defending Ukrainians.
Politics: Russia-Ukraine crisis: GOPers slam Big Tech for banning conservatives but allowing Kremlin to push disinfo

“President Trump is blocked, the leadership of Hamas is not. President Trump is blocked, the leadership of Iran is actually not blocked. You’ve got President Trump is blocked, you’ve got leaders in Nicaragua that have led through an actual coup and a transition in their government, and they’re not blocked,” Lankford told Fox News Digital.
“Over and over and over again, I can walk you through the world leaders that are brutal dictators that have led an actual coup in their country, and they’re still on social media. President Trump still continues to be able to be blocked on this.”
“It’s amazing to me that this is the path that Big Tech seems to choose where authoritarians are welcome to use Big Tech, where the Ayatollah can call for death for America, yet they’ll censor a President of the United States,” Hagerty added.
World: Russian news websites hacked purportedly by Anonymous amid Ukraine invasion

“Dear citizens. we call on you to stop this madness,” the message began. “don’t send your sons and husbands to sure death. Putin is making us lie and puts us in danger. We have been isolated from the world, no one is buying our oil & gas. In a few year’s time we’ll be living like in North Korea. Why do we need this? For Putin to make it to history books? This is not our war, let’s stop it!”
It continued, “This message will be deleted and some of us will be fired and maybe put to jail. But we can’t tolerate this anymore. Russian journalists who care. Anonymous.”
The message comes several days after Anonymous, an international hacking collective that has carried out cyberattacks against governments and corporations, appeared to declare war against Russia and its president, Vladimir Putin, in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Politics: Donald Trump: Democrats Claim Ukraine’s Borders ‘Sacred’ While Destroying Our Own

“What has happened in Ukraine is a catastrophic disaster. But it isn’t really that interesting that so many Democrat politicians in Washington, they seem to be rushing to microphones to declare that Ukraine’s borders are sacred,” he told the audience during remarks given at CPAC in Orlando, Florida.
Trump continued:
They want to say their borders are sacred, and we feel for Ukraine in so many ways, but Ukraine’s sovereignty must be defended at all costs, they say, even while they’re destroying our own borders and surrendering our own sovereignty. We have a border that’s a catastrophe. We have people coming into our country that we don’t want. They will not be good for our country.
Meanwhile, House Democrats have joined with several open borders organizations, some of which are financially tied to billionaire George Soros, in working to stop the surveilling of illegal aliens who crossed the border into the United States, Breitbart News exclusively reported Wednesday.

World Commentary: Donald Trump was a ‘deterrent’ to Vladimir Putin: Douglas Murray
There’s a “reason” Vladimir Putin didn’t move to invade Ukraine during the four years of the Trump presidency, according to author Douglas Murray.
“I think it’s a clear that Putin was watching very clearly, very closely,” Mr Murray said. “It seems perfectly clear Donald Trump was a kind of deterrent to Vladimir Putin.
World: Trump Vindicated: Germany to FINALLY Pay NATO Spending Requirements

While Germany has increased its defence spending over recent years, it has consistently failed to reach the NATO threshold, spending just 1.53 per cent on defence last year, according to NATO figures.
Germany has long been criticised for its failure to meet its NATO obligations while at the same time shipping billions to Russia in exchange for natural gas.
In July of 2018, President Trump said: “It is very sad when Germany makes a massive oil and gas deal with Russia, where we’re supposed to be guarding against Russia, and Germany goes and pays out billions and billions of dollars a year to Russia. We’re protecting Germany, we’re protecting France, we’re protecting all of these countries.”
“We’re paying a lot of money to protect, this has been going on for decades… it’s very unfair to our country, it’s very unfair to our taxpayers… these countries need to step it up, not over a ten year period, but immediately.”
The President also commented that because of a reliance on Russian gas, Germany had become “captive” to Putin’s regime. After years of controversy, the German government finally decided to block the opening of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline last week.
World: British Spy Boss: ‘LGBT+ Rights’ Are What ‘Distinguish Us from Putin’

Moore did not specify if his use of “us” was a reference to the United Kingdom, the Anglosphere, or the broader West.
He expressed his sentiments via Twitter, relating his remarks to ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. He included an acronym from “LGBT+ History Month,” with “LGBT+” for “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans +.”
He wrote, “With the tragedy and destruction unfolding so distressingly in Ukraine, we should remember the values and hard won freedoms that distinguish us from Putin, none more than LGBT+ rights. So let’s resume our series of tweets to mark #LGBTHM2022.”
