Surveillance video showed a woman arriving in a car before opening the back door and tossing a black trash bag into a dumpster in Hobbs, New Mexico, at around 2pm on January 7.
It’s Dangerous to Allow Politicians and Officials to Decide What Constitutes ‘Truth’

It’s no secret that governments worldwide are increasingly hostile to scrutiny of their conduct.
But, at a moment when too many media outlets see their role as working with the state to reinforce official narratives, one advocate of press freedom reminds us that the struggle isn’t over the “disinformation” and “misinformation” called out by opportunistic politicians, it’s over control of information.
Will people be free in the future to decide for themselves what’s truth and what’s BS? Or will we be spoon-fed whatever the powers-that-be endorse?

500 School Districts Publicly Declare Only Woke Teachers Need Apply

Not all teachers buy into the leftist narrative of race-obsessed anti-Americanism. But leftist K-12 administrators want to ensure that, eventually, all teachers will present only approved ideas and counter any wrongthink children are taught at home. Many of these educrats are now embracing a technological fix.
Trade publication Education Week recently reported that about 500 school districts around the country are rating teacher applicants according to their “cultural competency,” another code for “wokeness.”
Many of these districts are contracting with a teacher-hiring company called Nimble, which uses artificial intelligence to examine applications and interview answers to determine which candidates harbor the correct political and cultural attitudes.
Constitutional Carry on the Move in AL, GA, FL, NE, and OH

In Alabama, ABC 33/40 reports that two bills–House Bills 44 and 66–have been filed, each of which would eliminate the need to ask the state government for a permit before being allowed to legally carry a gun concealed for self-defense.
In Georgia, Gov. Brian Kemp (R) is pledging to work with the the legislature to get constitutional carry to his desk.
On December 19, 2021, Breitbart News cited a South Florida Sun Sentinel article noting Florida is on the precipice of doing away with its requirement that law-abiding citizens get a permit from the government in order to exercise Second Amendment rights.
The NRA-ILA reports that constitutional carry legislation was put forward in Nebraska on January 5, 2022. The legislation is sponsored by state Senator Tom Brewer (R).
Constitutional carry is currently the law of the land in 21 states. Those states are: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
Puerto Rico Corruption | Full Measure
It’s been a point of controversy and contention for years:
A place that’s gotten some of the most U.S. taxpayer money in history for causes like hurricane relief and rebuilding its electric grid… is also known as one of the most corrupt when it comes to how all that cash is spent.
Today, we dig deep into Puerto Rico’s unique history of corruption with the federal agents assigned to tackle it.
New GMO Tomato May Not Even Be Safe, Much Less ‘Healthy,’ Scientists Say

Nature Biotechnology notes:
“Sanatech has been careful not to claim that its tomatoes therapeutically lower blood pressure and promote relaxation. Instead, the company implies it, by advertising that consuming GABA, generally, can achieve these effects and that its tomatoes contain high levels of GABA. This has raised some eyebrows in the research community, given the paucity of evidence supporting GABA as a health supplement.”
The article also reports on news regarding the purple tomato developed by Cathie Martin at the John Innes Centre in the UK using older-style transgenic GM (genetic modification).
Martin says she expects a regulatory decision from the U.S. Department of Agriculture by the end of February for her purple tomatoes. Martin’s targeting of the U.S. is no surprise, given the weak regulation of GM crops in that country.
Glenn Beck on Using Race in Covid Treatment Plans
Some American healthcare providers now are being instructed to factor a patient’s race into their COVID treatment plan — and to give preference to non-white Americans when it comes to lifesaving methods that may be in short supply.
This is terrifying, Glenn says, but it’s not new. It’s seemingly based off ‘complete lives system,’ a plan developed by Dr. Ezekiel Emmanuel that gives medical treatment preference to citizens deemed more ‘productive’ to society — like anyone aged 15-40.
It’s based on communist principles, and it’s just part of the left’s Great Reset of MEDICINE.
7-Year-Old Dies 11 Days After Pfizer Shot, VAERS Report Shows

The data included a total of 21,382 reports of deaths — an increase of 380 over the previous week — and 166,606 reports of serious injuries, including deaths, during the same time period — up 4,100 compared with the previous week.
Excluding “foreign reports” to VAERS, 715,857 adverse events, including 9,778 deaths and 63,089 serious injuries, were reported in the U.S. between Dec. 14, 2020, and Dec. 31, 2021.
U.S. VAERS data from Dec. 14, 2020, to Dec. 31, 2021, for 12- to 17-year-olds show:

Emails show CDC Director requested info on 13-year old’s death two days after Covid-19 vaccination

The watchdog group Judicial Watch has recently uncovered information showing that the head of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Rochelle Walensky, requested details about the death of a 13-year old after Covid-19 vaccination.
The death was one of thousands reported to the federal Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System known as VAERS.
In response to the request for public records, the CDC provided 314 pages of emails sent to and from Walensky referencing the terms ‘Antibody Dependent Enhancement,’ also known as ADE.
ADE is a phenomenon in which vaccination can make a person more susceptible to serious illness from the disease it was supposed to prevent. Scientists say ADE can occur when antibodies generated during an immune response recognize and bind to a pathogen but don’t prevent infection. Instead, the antibodies allow the pathogen to get into cells and replicate, making the immune response worse.

About two years since the first Covid cases were recognized, there’s finally enough space for some hindsight to judge various strategies used to try to shut down the pandemic.

Raleigh doctor facing federal charges in $46 million Medicare fraud case

A federal grand jury handed up a 20-count indictment this week — charging Jackson in a massive Medicare fraud scheme. Federal prosecutors allege between 2014 and 2018, Jackson used her practices at Greater Carolina Ear, Nose, and Throat in Lumberton, Rockingham, and other eastern North Carolina locales to bill Medicare for more than $46 million. The indictment says Jackson’s practice generated more than $5.4 million.
Jackson allegedly billed Medicare for performing more than 1,200 balloon sinuplasties. It’s a procedure to treat chronic sinus infection where a balloon is inflated in the patient’s nasal passages to increase airflow and drainage.
The device is supposed to be a single-use device. But prosecutors say Jackson racked up profits by re-using it multiple times on multiple patients — without telling them.

Bill Bratton: Soros “effectively destroyed the criminal justice system in America”

Former NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton slammed the woke new Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg for “handcuffing cops by decriminalizing just about everything in NYC”. He blames his election on billionaire George Soros.
Bratton said newly-elected Mayor Eric Adams has his hands tied in terms of crime while Bragg’s office implements its woke policies.
Mayor Adams had promised a return to broken-windows policing after winning on a tough-on-crime approach campaign.
“I don’t know how Mr. Adams is going to do that when the DA is effectively handcuffing the police,’” he said.
Bratton added that Hungarian-born leftist Soros gave $1 million to Bragg through the Color of Change political action committee.
“If you look at every city in America that has violent crime increases and disorder increases…what is the one common denominator?” Bratton said.

Will the COVID Pandemic Cause a Big Government ‘Ratchet Effect’?
In his classic book, Crisis and Leviathan, economic historian Robert Higgs introduced a key concept that he called “the ratchet effect.” Higgs noted that the power of government grows during times of crisis, such as war or national depression, but that once the crisis passes, the newly acquired power of the State doesn’t recede back to its original level.
The COVID pandemic appears to supply yet another pretext for the move towards bigger and more authoritarian government. The toll on personal and economic liberty has been great and the deleterious effects may linger far longer than the virus.
Very early in the pandemic, economist Brian Wesbury expressed concern about the ratchet effect on the economy. While he recognized that temporary government relief was necessary, given the mandated lockdowns, he worried that the increased expenditures would not be unwound once the crisis passed. In March 2020, Wesbury wrote:
According to economist Frank Shostak, “the currently observed shortages of workers and materials coupled with the large price increases of goods and services is because of aggressive monetary pumping of the Fed and massive government outlays.” In other words, the shortages and inflation we see are not because of
