GETTR sign-ups soar after Twitter exodus led by Joe Rogan and Dr. Robert Malone

The platform saw a boost in new sign-ups after Joe Rogan and Dr. Robert Malone also joined and on the same day that Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green was banned from Twitter. While Rogan still remains on Twitter, Malone recently got suspended.
GETTR’s promise of focusing on giving a voice to independent thinkers and rejecting political censorship and cancel culture are playing a significant role in more people, including high profile ones, joining – as established mainstream social sites like Twitter continue to tighten their censorship screws.
What Rogan and Malone have in common, other than now being on GETTR, is a recent interview Malone did on Rogan’s podcast, when they spoke about Twitter banning Malone.
According to Rogan, Big Tech and Twitter with it have “a censorship agenda and narrative” around COVID and the doctor got silenced and excluded from the conversation for not conforming with those.
U.S. Rep. Announces Drastic Action to Prevent Big Tech from Censoring Joe Rogan’s Podcast

U.S. Congressman Troy Nehls (R-TX) made the following announcement:
Today, I submitted the transcript from the [Joe Rogan] experience podcast episode #1757 with Dr. Robert Malone to the Congressional Record.
Big tech wants to restrict your access to this information- but they cannot censor the Congressional Record.
The episode, fortunately, can also be viewed on Rumble, which has a strong record of protecting free speech.
“No One Has Ever Complied Their Way Out of Totalitarianism – This Is the Hill We Need to Die On” – Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Releases New Year’s Statement

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is quickly becoming one of the most important voices of our time. He continues to fearlessly call out the tyranny that is ripping apart the fabric of our country.
On Sunday Kennedy released a call to action for 2022.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.: I’m going to tell you these three things that you need to remember in this critical day and age.
1.) Once government acquires a power, it never lets it go voluntarily.
2.) Every power that government acquires, using this pandemic as a pretense, it will ultimately abuse to the maximum effect possible. This is a rule that is as certain as gravity.
3.) Nobody has ever complied their way out of totalitarianism. Every time you comply the demands will get greater and greater.
Sen. Paul Quitting YouTube: ‘Worst Censor of All’

“Today I begin my exodus from Big Tech, starting with the worst censor of all, YouTube,” Paul said in a statement.
“As a libertarian-leaning senator, I think private companies have the right to ban me if they want to, however, those of us who believe that truth comes from disputation and that the marketplace of ideas is a prerequisite for innovation should shun the close-minded censors and take our ideas elsewhere, which is exactly what I’m doing.”
Instead, Paul’s team said viewers can see his content on Rumble.com.
New York Pushing ‘Unethical’ Race-Based COVID-19 Treatment Policy

New York physicians will now have to take a patient’s race into consideration when prescribing hard-to-come-by coronavirus treatments under a new policy that’s drawn the ire of doctors and legal experts who argue the new guidelines could violate the Constitution.
To receive the treatment, a patient must meet certain criteria including having a “medical condition or other factors that increase their risk for severe illness,” according to the document.
One of the listed risk factors: being nonwhite.
Official guidance published on the state Department of Health website directs medical personnel to “consider race and ethnicity when assessing individual risk,” and notes that “longstanding systemic health and social inequities” can contribute to an increased risk of dying from COVID-19.
Replace CRT in Schools With Classical Education: Heritage Foundation President

Classical education should replace critical race theory (CRT) in schools, says the new president of the Heritage Foundation think tank.
Education is not just about teaching students “hard technical skills that allows [one] to get a job or that allows a student to do well on the standardized test. The reason I believe that classical education should replace [CRT] is because it puts the focus where it needs to be, which is on the formation of the student,” Kevin Roberts said in an interview with the Washington Examiner.
“The greatest fruit of the debate over critical race theory isn’t merely that conservatives are winning that debate and thankfully rooting out CRT in a lot of schools,” Roberts said.”It’s that in the process of doing so, we have recognized that we can use this overreach by the radical Left to remind Americans what education should truly be about.”
Multimillion-dollar bond set for Ohio woman who admitted to murdering police officer

Tamara McLoyd, 18, was charged Sunday with one count of aggravated murder in the death of off-duty Cleveland police officer Shane Bartek, according to FOX 8 News. McLoyd admitted to police that she shot the officer. During her felony arraignment her alleged criminal history, which includes aggravated robberies, was discussed.
McLoyd approached Bartek in the parking lot of an apartment building with a gun around 6 p.m. Friday, police said in a press release. A struggle ensued, and Bartek was shot twice by McLoyd. McLoyd then took off in Bartek’s vehicle.
Bartek, 25, was taken to a nearby hospital by Cleveland EMS where he was pronounced dead. He was a two-year veteran of the force, according to FOX 8.
UC Irvine Fires Doctor Who Already Had COVID-19 for Refusing Vaccine

Dr. Kheriaty, described by the Los Angeles Times as “a professor of psychiatry and human behavior at the medical school and director of the medical ethics program at UCI Health,” sued UC Irvine over its vaccine mandate for employees last year.
(The Times article failed to note that Dr. Kheriary had been previously infected, but noted rather that he had been “exposed.” It also noted, “Research shows that coronavirus immunity wanes over time,” without noting that it does so for the vaccine as well.)
Another professor at George Mason University in a similar predicament wrote an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal last year explaining why he was suing his university over its own vaccine mandate: “I have natural immunity, so there’s no justification for a coercive violation of my bodily autonomy.”
Jason Aldean, Wife Brittany Aldean Ring in New Year with ‘the G.O.A.T.’ Donald Trump: ‘This Man Is Unbelievable’

“Well, this New Years was the best of all time. I got to spend a couple days with the G.O.A.T…… this man is unbelievable and I wish u all could see what he does behind the scenes. #classact,” Aldean wrote in an Instagram caption, sharing a photo of himself and his wife Brittany Aldean alongside President Trump.
The Instagram post also included a few other photos of Aldean appearing to receive golfing advice from Trump himself.
“Perfect, you’re so good,” Trump can be heard telling Aldean in a video of the two on the golf course.
Brittany Aldean also shared the photo of her and her husband with Trump at Mar-a-Lago, writing in her Instagram caption, “Best New Years EVER. Here’s to 2022.”
Facebook ‘permanently’ locks account of conservative children’s book publisher

“The question is: is a children’s biography of Ronald Reagan no longer permissible on Facebook? We don’t know. But apparently promoting one may well kill a business,” Heroes of Liberty editor and board member Bethany Mandel told FOX Business on Sunday.
Mandel confirmed that the ads account remained disabled. She hesitated to describe the move as an example of anti-conservative bias on the part of Facebook.
“We are not in politics, we are in the business of creating beautiful stories about great people that will entertain children and give them life lessons,” she said. “To cancel children’s books because they celebrate American values that 90% of Americans believe in isn’t even anti-conservative bias, it’s anti-American. Pure madness.”
‘Enemy to America:’ Marjorie Taylor Green Blasts Twitter After Permanent Blacklisting

Greene has one of the largest followings on social media of any Republican member of Congress. Prior to her ban, she had over 465,000 followers on Twitter, meaning the Republican Party and conservative movement has lost one of its most influential accounts on the platform.
Twitter would not point to any specific tweet that violated its terms of service, instead telling the press that the ban had been triggered by “repeated violations of our COVID-19 misinformation policy.”
The far-left Silicon Valley company has temporarily suspended Greene’s personal account on a number of other occasions but often claimed that these incidents were just mistakes.
“Twitter is an enemy to America and can’t handle the truth,” Greene said in a statement responding to the ban. “That’s fine, I’ll show America we don’t need them and it’s time to defeat our enemies.”

According to police, on December 11, Navarro was driving 110 miles per hour in a Dodge Charger when he hit Compton, who was turning left at an intersection. An eyewitness told police that Navarro was seemingly racing another vehicle.
Police said Compton’s blood alcohol level was above the legal limit at the time of the crash. Compton was killed in the crash.
Navarro’s booking information reveals that the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency has a detainer on him, requesting that he get released to ICE’s custody if he is released from local police custody at any time.
Pennsylvania Democrat Commissioner Charged with Raping 15-Year-Old Boy

Marvin Smith, a 50-year-old Democrat elected to the Darby Township Board of Commissioners in 2019, turned himself in to the Philadelphia Police Department late last week on charges of rape, sexual assault, and others related to the rape of a 15-year-old boy in 2017.
According to investigators, on August 12, 2017, Smith was in his vehicle when he approached the boy and offered to give him a ride. Smith lured the boy by claiming to be a family friend, investigators claim.
When the boy got into Smith’s vehicle, Smith drove them to a park where he then allegedly raped the teen. Afterward, the boy told police that Smith dropped him off at an undisclosed location.

“Operation Boo Dat 2021 took place from mid-October to Dec. 24. Among the 30 people arrested were 17 for felony sex offender registration violations,” KNOE reported Wednesday.
The missing and runaway teenagers, ages 14 through 16, were discovered living in different motels and residences where alleged criminal activity was happening.
“They were found with or had recently been with adult males and are thought to be the victims of sex trafficking, a common fate among runaway teens who do not soon make it home,” the KNOE article read.
Those arrested included a man who allegedly raped a 12-year-old.

Trump Endorses Kansas AG Schmidt for Governor

Schmidt is the leading Republican seeking to prevent Democrat Gov. Laura Kelly from winning a second term in a state that voted for Trump in 2020.
“Derek Schmidt, the Attorney General of the Great State of Kansas, has done an absolutely outstanding job. He is now running for Governor and will be a popular and very wise choice,” Trump said in a statement released by his Save America joint fundraising committee.
“Derek is strong on Crime, the Borders, and our always under siege Second Amendment. He loves our Military and our Vets. Derek Schmidt has my Complete and Total Endorsement!”
Trump won Kansas by roughly 14 percentage points in 2020.
GOP lawmakers renew effort to bar Planned Parenthood from Missouri Medicaid program

After the issue ground legislative work to a halt last year, Missouri Republican lawmakers plan to renew their efforts to bar Planned Parenthood from receiving taxpayer dollars when they return to the state Capitol this week.
More than half a dozen bills have been filed so far that aim to strip abortion providers or their affiliates of participation in the state’s Medicaid program or from receiving public benefits more broadly.
In Missouri, there is only one facility currently remaining where abortions are performed — Reproductive Health Services, affiliated with Planned Parenthood in St. Louis.
Since the mid-90s, lawmakers have attempted to restrict public funds from going to Planned Parenthood, but legislative efforts last year gained new ground when an essential tax on hospitals, nursing homes and pharmacies, known as the federal reimbursement allowance (FRA), was used as leverage.
Rep. Gohmert to Newsmax: Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Ban on Twitter Orwellian

Twitter’s decision to permanently ban GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s private account shows how social media giants have “become the Ministry of Truth” that author George Orwell predicted in his dystopian novel “Nineteen Eighty-Four,” and it’s nearly as bad as when former President Donald Trump was banned, Rep. Louie Gohmert said on Newsmax Monday.
“If you deviate, if you say, two plus two equals four instead of five, then they come after you,” the Texas Republican said on Newsmax’s “Wake Up America.”
“But the thing about Marjorie Greene, and of the things I love about her, and so many of the new freshmen that have come into Congress, the more you attack them, the more energy they take in and become even stronger.”
Meanwhile, as the first anniversary of the Jan. 6 incidents at the Capitol approaches, Gohmert said the date is being used for political purposes.
“That Jan. 6 commission, it’s not a commission; it’s a lynch mob,” said Gohmert.

Australian Man Lights Himself on Fire After Ranting About Vaccine Mandates

The Herald Sun reports that the man was sitting in his car in Richmond at about 8 p.m. on Saturday, when he began “screaming” about vaccination mandates, according to witness Lydia O’Connor.
“He poured gas on himself and on his car,” one witness told the newspaper. “It was on purpose. He was screaming about mandates. He was screaming ‘no vax ID,’ and throwing books.”
The man, who has not been publicly identified, then poured gasoline over himself and set himself and his car on fire. Police and firefighters, with the help of bystanders who restrained the man, managed to extinguish the flames.
The ‘moderate’ Taliban start beheading shop mannequins in Afghanistan after ruling declaring they are offensive to Islam

A video shared on Twitter on Monday shows an unidentified man using a hack saw to remove the head of a mannequin as someone chants ‘Allah Akbar’ – which means ‘God is Great’ in Arabic.
At least ten heads that have already been severed can be seen lying at his feet.
Last week, shopkeepers in the western province of Herat were told to hack the heads off their mannequins after Islamist officials ruled the statues were ‘idols’.
Idolatry, or the worshipping of idols, is considered a grave sin in Islam which bans the worship of anyone or thing other than Allah – considered to be the only God.
Donald Trump Endorses Hungary’s PM Viktor Orbán for Reelection

“Viktor Orbán of Hungary truly loves his Country and wants safety for his people,” Trump said in a statement from his Save America PAC, before laying out the reasons for his support in detail.
“He has done a powerful and wonderful job in protecting Hungary, stopping illegal immigration, creating jobs, trade, and should be allowed to continue to do so in the upcoming Election.”
“He is a strong leader and respected by all. He has my Complete support and Endorsement for reelection as Prime Minister,” Trump said about Orbán, who is running for reelection.
Iranian Terrorists Demand Attack on U.S. to Mark 2nd Anniversary of Soleimani Drone Strike

The Kurdish outlet Rudaw reported on Monday that the Basij, a wing of the IRGC made up of so-called “students,” published a letter on Soleimani’s death anniversary demanding that the Iranian Supreme National Security Council explain why it had yet to issue a “proportionate” response to America, presumably the execution of an American general or admiral.
Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei honored Soleimani with remarks on Saturday during a meeting with Soleimani’s family, claiming President Joe Biden’s extension and abrupt withdrawal from Afghanistan as a victory for Iran.
“The enemies thought that with the martyrdom of Soleimani, Abu Mahdi and his other companions, the work would be over,” Khamenei, said, according to Iran’s Fars News Agency, “but today, thanks to that dear blood wrongly spilled, the United States has fled Afghanistan.”

Totalitarianism: Can It Happen in America?
What does totalitarianism look like? In the 20th century, it took the form of secret police violently silencing anyone who spoke out against the government.
Now, it has a very different face — one we should be wary of just the same. Rod Dreher, author of Live Not By Lies, explains.

“Arguments from privileged countries. We in Africa have little access to vaccines, boosters, etc. The question we should be asking is, how is Africa managing?
You people have already caused mayhem over Omicron. Our good doctors from South Africa have told us not to panic, but the rest of the world is in the highest panic mode yet … your countries’ have over 70% vaccinated, boosted etc. You should be at peace … you will die of fear.”
As I sat with these ideas, coming from half a world away, I realized the privileged countries in the world are living a far different reality than the less privileged. Ironically, in America, we have limitless access to vaccines, and some of the most educated doctors and scientists in the world, yet the majority of our citizens are consumed with fear.
But does the level of fear and now the level of governmental control really match the current threat of the virus and its variants? Why aren’t we jumping for joy that so far Omicron is looking to be more transmissible, but far less deadly?
In theory, this variant could signal the end of the pandemic. Shouldn’t it be good news that many more people will likely develop a level of natural immunity from a less dangerous variant as we work toward the promised land of herd immunity? But this commenter is right … instead of optimism, what we have instead are increased calls for panic, lockdowns, passports, mandates and more. Why, you ask? Let me suggest a theory.
