‘You’re a disgrace’: Police dispatcher takes aim at Lori Lightfoot

Keith Thornton Jr. posted a video to Facebook on Christmas Eve slamming Lightfoot as well as the Superintendent of Police David Brown for failing to support the force.

He said he had been compelled to speak up because ‘several of my officers have texted me that they were scared … They have no backing and they’re scared of being out there by themselves, working in the 16th District.’

Thornton said officers in the district, which is in the northwest of the city, were so ‘shorthanded’ that if you call 911 from the area ‘officers are not coming to you.’

He said this wasn’t petty crimes – this was ‘females being beaten’ as well as stabbings and shootings.

She claims that she now suffers from ‘severe and debilitating’ panic attacks and ‘horrific’ nightmares due to the gruesome content that she was expected to watch during her job.

A man who dropped a gun and ran naked from police before being shot by an officer outside a church in 2017 has accepted a $525,000 settlement to end a federal lawsuit against the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and police officers, both sides said Monday.

The day Funke was shot, police were summoned to a church where Funk had sought counseling just days earlier about his mental health, including feelings of suicide, according to court records.

A church leader told a 911 dispatcher that Funke was “sitting naked in a meditation pose with a handgun in front of him” and money on the ground in front of the church.

“He told the dispatcher, ‘Yeah, this man is suicidal. I talked to him; he’s not making sense,’” Boulware noted in his June ruling granting summary judgment on Funke’s excessive force claim against Hatten.

Seven years ago, in line with their respect for and focus on American heroes, they started a program called Flags for Fortitude. It’s the charitable portion of their work. “We ask for nothing in return — we donate our goods to heroes,” said Shane Henderson.

To date, they’ve donated over $250,000 worth of products to veterans, military, police officers, first-line responders, crossing guards, and many others across the country. “We give to anyone in the community who is making a difference,” he said.

Any member of the public can nominate individuals to receive this donation, which is worth about $500.

The house was given to Duskin in honor of her late husband’s military service by PulteGroup’s Built to Honor program, which gives mortgage-free homes to veterans who have been injured during their service and their families.

The Built to Honor program partnered with Operation Coming Home, a Raleigh-based group that builds and gives away homes to wounded veterans, to give Duskin the house.

Staffing shortages are occurring while flu cases, which were very low last year during the pandemic, are spiking, notably in Washington, D.C., New Jersey, Kansas and Indiana.

Hospitals in other states grappling with shortages amid the spikes have halted vaccine mandates while also activating the National Guard.

In Ohio this month, hospitals across the state hit the “pause” button on their vaccine mandates, pointing to legal reasons and staffing shortages. And Republican Gov. Mike DeWine activated 1,050 Ohio National Guard members to assist with hospitals.

California’s ‘White Christmas’ Breaks December Snowfall Record in Sierra, Easing Drought

CRESTLINE, California — A winter snowstorm this weekend dumped nearly 40 inches of snow on the Sierra Nevada mountains from Sunday into Monday, breaking the record for snowfall in December, and possibly signaling relief in California’s two-year-old drought.

The storm brought the total snowfall recorded in December to 193.7 inches, and forced the closure of resorts near Lake Tahoe, which had been bone dry as recently as Thanksgiving weekend but now have more snow than they can handle.

Other mountainous parts of California, including the mountains north of San Bernardino, have received heavy snowfall this week, bringing a late “white Christmas” to the higher elevations in the state, and much-needed rain below.

A series of snowstorms forced officials to close highways and interstates through the Sierra Nevada from California to Nevada. The storms have dropped 5-9 feet of snow so far, and winds gusted to near 100 mph on mountain peaks which knocked trees into power lines and across roadways, making roads impassable.

I-80 has been closed since Sunday through the Sierra into Nevada, and the California Department of Transportation (Caltran) said they have no estimated time of opening.

Borraya said Caltran crews are working 24/7 to clear the roads, and the Nevada Department of Transportation Tweeted that they are working 12-hour shifts.

Exclusive—Victor Davis Hanson: California Is a Confederate Society with ‘Sick Fixation’ on Race

California’s hemorrhaging of residents to states with more freedom and prosperity is exacerbating the state’s social stratification in terms of wealth, Hanson stated. He said the state’s volume of illegal aliens further amplifies the wealth divide.

“The middle class has left,” he said. “About ten million people left California in the last 40 years, and we know where they went.

They went to Nevada, Idaho, Texas, Florida, Tennessee. We have half of all the undocumented illegal aliens in the country. Twenty-seven percent of Californians were not born in United States, whether they’re legally [here], or residents, or citizens.”

Hanson characterized California’s polarization based on wealth as resembling the Antebellum South’s racial segregation.

Rand Paul: ‘Thousands’ Likely Died Because Anthony Fauci ‘Deemphasized’ Therapeutics

“He wanted to develop a vaccine. Vaccines can be great for polio or smallpox or wonderful. It didn’t actually work for AIDS,” he continued, noting that some say that the emphasis on vaccines in that scenario hindered the therapeutics.”

“But the therapeutic angle ended up being the best, but he was biased towards the vaccine, and it’s the same way now.

“I would venture to say that thousands of people die in our country every month now from COVID because [Fauci] deemphasized the idea that there are therapeutics,” Paul continued:

“Recent data showed that monoclonal antibody treatment cuts the risk of death and hospitalization by 70% in high-risk patients and reduces the chance of infection among a household by 80%,” he wrote, explaining that the treatment was largely ignored by the mainstream media and adding that “misinformation still plagues government bureaucrats when discussing this scientifically-backed treatment.”

Governors to Biden: Drop vaccine mandates if there’s ‘no federal solution’

On Tuesday, the Republican governors of Florida, South Dakota, Arizona and Texas called on Biden to follow up on his remark by abandoning his federal vaccine and mask mandates and other restrictions.

The office of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ told DailyMail.com that Biden is “abdicating responsibility and shifting blame” to the states.

“More Americans have died of COVID-19 under Biden than under Trump. Now that Biden has admitted to the nation that he has no plan to ‘shut down the virus,’ and that there is ‘no federal solution,’ we expect him to withdraw the unconstitutional and useless federal vaccine mandates,” a spokesman said.

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem wrote on Twitter:  “After a year, we finally agree. The federal government isn’t the solution.”

Tennessee, Florida, Iowa, Arkansas, and Kansas have passed legislation to extend unemployment benefits to individuals who choose not to submit to vaccine mandates by their employer.

The decision to expand unemployment benefits by several states comes because of increasing pressures from the Biden administration requiring employers to mandate employee vaccination.

The Biden administration continues to advocate for its mandate even though the president admitted Monday that “there is no federal solution” to ending the coronavirus pandemic as he called on state governments to do more to fight the Omicron variant during a briefing with the National Governors Association.

Florida expanded unemployment benefits to the unvaccinated as part of the bill that banned vaccine mandates in the state.

“Nobody should lose their job due to heavy-handed COVID mandates, and we had a responsibility to protect the livelihoods of the people of Florida,” Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said in a statement, according to Business Insider.

So far no transmission of the A(H5N1) virus to humans has been reported.

However, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett met his national security adviser and other experts on Monday to discuss efforts to stop that from happening.

The schedule change, blessed by Austin, is to reassure European allies of U.S commitment to regional security, one official said without mentioning the ongoing Russian military buildup on the eastern border of Ukraine.

The Temple Vessels Are Ready for the Rebuilding of Jerusalem’s Third Temple

The beams were used in the construction of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and became visible to the public in the 1930s while the building was being refurbished.  These beams may have originally been part of the Holy Temple’s roof structure.

Byzantine-era designs were also discovered etched on some of these beams.

“It appears that this is part of the systematic attempts by Arabs to destroy all connections between the Jewish people and the Temple Mount,” a spokesperson from one of the groups trying to secure Jewish rights on the Temple Mount said (Arutz Sheva).

Despite Arab denial that any Jewish Temples ever existed on the Mount, and despite their unauthorized excavations on the Mount that destroy evidence of such a Jewish presence, many Jews and Christians are planning to build a Third Temple on this holiest site in the world.

In fact, the furnishings, instruments, and vessels for Temple worship have already been created and are on display at the Treasures of the Temple exhibition in Jerusalem.

The minister previously stated that 99 mosques have so far been controlled for advocating dangerous or violent ideology.

“Of these 99 [mosques], 21 have been closed, and 6 are currently in the process of being closed,” Darmanin reported earlier in December, according to EuroNews.

“We also found that 36 of these mosques had accepted the demands of the Republic – either to leave a particular federation, or to separate from the imam whom we considered dangerous, or to stop foreign funding, or unfortunately to combine these provisions – and so we removed them from the list.”

The Daily Mail reported that earlier this year the French government announced it was cracking down on places of worship and groups suspected of pushing radical Islamic propaganda.

Naturally Immune & Never Afraid w/ Dr. Paul Alexander

Dr. Paul Alexander the GREAT joins us in this episode to discuss the 140 studies published thus far confirming that natural immunity post-infection is far superior and more flexible, durable, and lifelong lasting than anything that the experimental inoculations could ever hope to provide.
