San Francisco shuts down In-N-Out restaurant after company ‘refused to become vaccination police’ and enforce mandate among customers

Authorities said the burger chain had refused to bar clients who couldn’t show proof of vaccination to dine indoors, as required by a city-wide mandate that came into effect on August 20.

In-N-Out ignored repeated warnings to enforce the vaccination rule, the department said, calling the mandate a matter of public health to keep COVID-19 from spreading.

Meanwhile, In-N-Out’s chief legal and business officer Arnie Wensinger declared: ‘We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government.’

The location has since reopened but without indoor dining.

In-N-Out was the only San Francisco restaurant that was closed for violating the mandate.

“It is unfortunate after 15 plus years of dedicating myself to the profession and the students and the families of the town that I work in that we’re here,” Kahseim Outlaw, a gym teacher at Lyman Hall High School, told Fox News.

Outlaw said he’s on unpaid leave for refusing to comply with Connecticut’s mandate to either get vaccinated or receive weekly testing. Outlaw learned Wednesday that the superintendent won’t grant him an extended leave of absence, meaning he could lose his job.

Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont announced the mandate in August and said: “Getting vaccinated keeps yourself safe, keeps your community safe, and will help beat back the ongoing spread of this virus.”

“Two attorneys arrested for allegedly throwing Molotov cocktails at NYPD vehicles during George Floyd protests in New York City in May 2020 each pleaded guilty in Brooklyn federal court Wednesday to a single count of making an incendiary device.

Colinford Mattis, a Princeton and NYU Law graduate who had worked at Pryor Cashman, and public interest attorney Urooj Rahman, who attended Fordham Law, face up to 10 years in prison when they are sentenced in February.

The federal government is pushing for the max, arguing the judge should apply a “terrorism” enhancement to the penalty because what the attorneys allegedly did was intended to intimidate NYPD officers.

The accused perv, who is from Woonsocket, R.I., was initially arrested on Sept. 2 following an investigation into a disturbing incident at Wrentham Outlets about a week earlier.

That case involved a complaint from customers who reported seeing a man dressed as a woman “acting suspiciously” in the ladies’ bathroom, police said.

The culprit was donning a blond wig as he was seen entering a bathroom stall next to a group of women and girls who were around 12 to 15 years old, according to police.

The investigation began over the summer after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children tipped off police that images believed to be child pornography were being transmitted from email accounts in Connecticut, the paper reported, citing police.

Many of the photos focused on the butts, chests or vaginal area of female students, who investigators said did not appear to know they were being photographed or recorded, according to the station.

Dozens of the photos were of two female students, who were ages 15 and 17 at the time, the reports said.

Quiyemabi Summerlin is accused of running a sex trafficking operation out of the basement on a home on Detroit’s east side.

According to court documents, the women were locked in his basement, raped and beaten, and then were given plates of heroin and crack cocaine as he kept the money.

Quiyemabi Summerlin is facing charges of sex trafficking plus firearm and drug charges after authorities said they took down his operation last week following a months-long investigation.

In April of 2019, the Southeast Michigan Trafficking and Exploitation Crimes (SEMTEC) Task Force started the investigation that ultimately led to the arrest of Summerlin. During an undercover sex trafficking operation at a metro Detroit hotel, a woman said she worked for a violent pimp with the last name of Summerlin. She said he lives in Detroit near Grosse Pointe and is known to be violent towards women.

Summerlin has previous felony convictions include concealing stolen property, receiving stolen property, and 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct, and is required to register as a sex offender.

Portland hammered by critics after report reveals police didn’t stop chaos: ‘Where were the social workers?’

Critics were both unsurprised and angered by the latest unchecked criminal activity reported in Portland, Ore., on Tuesday, with many calling it a “normal day” in a liberal-run city that has largely hamstrung its police

“A crowd of 100 people wreaked havoc in downtown Portland, Oregon – smashing storefront windows, lighting dumpsters on fire and causing at least $500,000 in damage – but police officers didn’t stop them,” ABC News reported Tuesday.

Murders have increased 16% across major U.S. cities so far in 2021 compared to 2020, according to the Council on Criminal Justice’s (CCJ) pandemic crime report.

New Yorkers Protest Vaccine Mandates In Times Square: ‘It’s About Freedom’

NEW YORK, New York — Thousands of protesters marched in New York City last weekend, rallying in Times Square to voice their opposition to COVID-19 vaccine mandates. The march was the latest in a series of such rallies that have been taking place regularly in New York City for months now, largely ignored by the corporate press.

Mayor Bill de Blasio has announced one of the most sweeping vaccine mandates in the country, requiring all city employees to get their first shot by Oct. 29 or be placed on unpaid leave, no exceptions. For New York police and firefighters, the deadline is Nov. 1, but the PBA, New York City’s police union, has vowed to fight the mandate.

Protesters heard from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and others, who spoke on personal liberty and limited government. Chants of “defund the media,” “freedom,” and “let’s go, Brandon,” swept through the crowd.

Cops Took $7,000 Cash from Javier and Never Gave It Back (and the Same Thing Could Happen to You)

The federal government and most states use civil forfeiture to take cash, cars and more without charging owners with a crime.

The proceeds often flow into accounts controlled by law enforcement, sometimes including the same police and prosecutors who seized and forfeited the property.

Yet few Americans realize this legal process exists until they find themselves fighting for their own property.

Now a first-of-its-kind study from the Institute for Justice (IJ) takes a detailed look at the victims of a law enforcement practice often called “policing for profit.”

Fiston Ngoy, a 35-year-old illegal alien from the Republic of the Congo,

Since then, Ngoy has allegedly accumulated a criminal record including pleading guilty to sexual abuse and was ordered released into the U.S. by a federal immigration judge in 2019, according to Fox News:

Meanwhile, court records show that he racked up “multiple arrests and two misdemeanor convictions, one for controlled substances and one for sexual abuse.” Ngoy pled guilty in 2017 in Washington D.C. to the sexual abuse misdemeanor and was sentenced to 120 days in prison and nine months probation. He was put in immigration detention in Jan. 2018.

However, he was never deported because he received a “withholding of removal” from an immigration judge in March 2019 after the Board of Immigration Appeals found that his misdemeanor sex offense was not a “serious crime” that would have made him ineligible for such a stay.

President of the National Border Patrol Council Brandon Judd argues the Biden administration doesn’t ‘seem to have the will to do what is necessary to secure our borders.’

Meanwhile, Sam Hall, the founder and president of militia group Patriots for America, has spent the past week in Kinney County.

“What we’ve seen is an invasion of this county,” Hall said during a county commissioner’s meeting on Oct. 18. “What we’ve seen is residents that are scared to death right now, and they don’t feel like they have support from the state.”

Hall told The Epoch Times that he’ll have around 40 men in the county by the end of the week and a total of 100 by around Oct. 26, with more coming.

The militia’s arrival is happening against the backdrop of reports that 60,000 to 85,000 mostly Haitian migrants are on their way toward the U.S. border.

Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy Supports Cognitive Tests for Aging Members 3 Branches of Government

Bill Cassidy
Bill Cassidy

Cassidy said he is not singling anyone politician out, but it’s natural that people start to see a “rapid decline” in their 80s. Many top leaders are hovering around that age.

Former President Donald Trump is 75, President Joe Biden is 78, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is 81, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is 70 and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is 79.

Cassidy supports the test for all three branches of government. It would be reasonable for Supreme Court justices, members of Congress, and executive branch leaders to submit to an annual evaluation in which they would have to establish cognitive sharpness, he said.

“We each have a sacred responsibility to the people of the United States. It is not about me. It is about my ability to serve the people” he said.

McEnany on McAuliffe abruptly ending interview: Dems ‘can’t handle it’ when media asks tough questions

WJLA 7News reporter Nick Minock conducted interviews with the former governor and his GOP rival Glenn Youngkin, sharing highlights on-air while releasing the full interviews and transcripts online.

However, WJLA anchor Jonathan Elias offered a disclaimer to viewers who may notice that Youngkin’s interview was much longer than McAuliffe’s.

The former White House Press secretary McEnany has experience dealing with the media when working for the Trump administration.

McEnany went on to say, “They believe that the media is in their corner and when the media actually ask hard questions, which local reporters very often do, they can’t handle it. McAuliffe had another weird moment where he was asked to define CRT by a reporter, he would not do it.”

Heritage Foundation Senior Fellow Mike Gonzalez, author of BLM: The Making of a New Marxist Revolution, says what he describes as the “invasion of critical race theory” in all aspects of life in the US was a direct result of the thousands of Black Lives Matter protests in 2020.

Gonzalez says that the ways critical race theory is implemented are often unconstitutional or illegal in breaking the Civil Rights Act.
