PICTURED: NYU student shot dead by jealous NYPD cop

The 24-year-old love rival shot dead by NYPD cop Yvonne Wu was pictured on Thursday afternoon as her family and friends tried to raise money for her family.

Jamie Liang, 24, was collateral damage in the messy breakup between Wu, 31, and Jenny Li, 23.

Liang was shot dead by Wu after arriving home with Li at Li’s Bensonhurst apartment. Li and Wu dated for two years but broke up last month in ugly circumstances. Friends say the cop, who was eight years older than her ex-girlfriend, was jealous and possessive.

Wu opened fire on the pair, shooting Liang multiple times and Li in the torso. Li survived and is in the hospital but Liang died Wednesday night.

Wu – who has been a cop for five years and works out of the 72nd Precinct just four miles away – opened fire, shooting Liang in the chest and Li in the torso. Liang died in the hospital 50 minutes later. Li survived and is still in the hospital but is in a good condition.

Indiana parents say their children, ages 4 and 5, were accidentally given COVID-19 vaccines instead of the flu shots – and the kids are now suffering side effects

The Prices say their children have been exhibiting side effects since getting the adult doses, including fever, coughs, hypertension and heart issues

‘[The cardiologist] said our daughter was having higher blood pressure than she would like,’ Alexandra told WFIE.

‘And Lukas, our son was having tachycardia…’ which is when the heart rate is too fast.

These problems are likely occurring because the children received adult doses.

Children are often the last group to be tested during vaccine clinical trials because they are not merely little adults.

Their bodies and immune systems behave differently, meaning they might have different treatment needs.

What’s more, children may need different doses depending on their height, weight and age.

Luchiano Lewis, one of the teens charged in the 2019 murder of Barnard student Tessa Majors, was sentenced Thursday to 9 years to life in prison, CBS New York reports.

Lewis, who was charged as an adult, pleaded guilty in September to to second-degree murder and first-degree robbery.

Majors was 18 when she was fatally stabbed during an attempted robbery in New York City’s Morningside Park.

Three teenagers, including the then-14-year-old Lewis, were accused of participating in the robbery that led to her death.

When entering his guilty plea in September, Lewis, then 16, told the court that using a knife during the robbery was “not part of our plan,” according to CBS New York.

In a press release, the Navy said after those final vaccination dates pass, it will start processing discharges for sailors who have to that point refused vaccination and don’t have a pending or approved exemption.

The Navy said it set up a system specifically for handling sailors who refuse the vaccine, the COVID Consolidated Disposition Authority (CCDA). Adm. William Lescher, Vice Chief of Naval Operations said the CCDA will “ensure a fair and consistent process” for separation determinations.

The Navy said those sailors separated only for vaccine refusal will receive no lower than a general discharge under honorable conditions. Such a discharge status could result in the loss of some veterans’ benefits.

The head of the Chicago police officers’ union has called on its members not to comply with the city’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

Chicago Fraternal Order of Police President John Catanzara warned that there could be half as many cops on the streets this weekend because of Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

This week, Chicago officials included an option for city employees to submit to being tested twice a week at their own expense and on their time to bypass the vaccine mandate through the end of the year.

As of Oct. 15, any city employees who fail to get vaccinated or submit to semi-weekly testing or are not approved for a religious or medical exemption would be placed on no-pay status.

The peer-reviewed study was published in the journal Medicine & Sports, which has been in wide circulation since 1969.

The study by researchers at the University of Manchester in the UK and Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm found that biological males categorically have performance advantages over biological females across sports that are contested in the Olympics.

Wright also noted that he wasn’t able to appeal the censorship, despite Instagram claiming he could do so:

The study, which was published before the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, also found that even after three years of hormone therapy, transgender women on average still retain strength advantages over biological women.

“Officers did respond to the scene, but found nothing,” spokesperson Nina Lavoie told The College Fix in early October when asked for an update on the investigation into the alleged incident. She confirmed on October 11 that there has been no further update on the investigation.

“The security cameras in the area were reviewed, but nothing was observed,” Lavoie said on October 1. “There are no suspects at this time. Unless UMPD receives further information, the investigation cannot progress.”

The alleged victim has also not filed a police report.

“The only report to UMPD was made anonymously through Campus Eyes,” Lavoie said.

The new student counseling director at Middlebury College has vowed to use “more inclusive” methods to treat student mental health, including a focus on white supremacy and social justice.

Soto said his first steps will include, according to the paper, “increased and more inclusive outreach and mental health services for a diverse student population, as well as questioning Eurocentric ideas surrounding mental health.”

He also said he “looks to challenge the historically-dominant whiteness in the Middlebury community in order to create a more open environment for students.”

Last year, the campus newspaper announced it would no longer print photos from anti-police protests because the pictures may help law enforcement identify the students protesting.

Speaking with Fox News Digital, Bernier told a cautionary tale of his arrest while attempting to speak out against the “authoritarian” Canadian government headed by Prime Minister and leader of the Liberal Party of Canada Justin Trudeau.

He sought to warn those in the U.S. to not take their freedoms for granted, lest they end up with the same “draconian” measures already governing his home country.

When asked about what some have described as a heavy-handed response by governments of countries like Canada, Australia and New Zealand in attempts to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, Bernier detailed restrictions he and his fellow Québécois were forced to endure throughout the height of the pandemic, including curfews between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., stay-at-home orders and an economic lockdown.

VP Kamala Harris has ‘basically come out and said the United States is an illegitimate nation’

Sky News host James Morrow says US Vice President Kamala Harris said out loud “what everyone else already knew” in her speech attacking the European ‘white explorers’ who discovered America.

“The democrats and the hard progressive left in America have been thinking for years now and have been pushing through all sorts of avenues,” Mr Morrow told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“This is Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the United States, next in line to be the president when you’ve got a president, who is, let’s just say to be politely, declining in function.

“And she’s basically come out and said, ‘the United States is an illegitimate nation’, think about that for second.

“Yet this is exactly what is being pushed throughout American culture by the left right now.”

Gunfire breaks out in Beirut during protest of judge; 6 dead

The exchanges of fire along a former front line from the 1975-90 civil war involved pistols, automatic rifles and rocket-propelled grenades, and were reminiscent of that conflict. Gunfire echoed for hours, and ambulances rushed to pick up casualties.

Snipers shot from buildings. Bullets penetrated apartment windows in the area. Schools were evacuated and residents hid in shelters.

The chaos raised the specter of a return to sectarian violence in a country already embroiled in multiple crises, including one of the world’s worst economic crises of the past 150 years.

An official response from Taiwan over Beijing’s aggressiveness says Taiwan stands on the front lines of what it described as an assault and it won’t back down, as China conducted military exercises in the Taiwan Strait.

Beijing claims Taiwan is “not eligible” to join the United Nations because it claims the island as a part of mainland China.

Widespread power shortages are still wreaking havoc across China. Almost two-thirds of the country is now struggling with electricity rationing.

And the problem is hitting the global supply chain, too. Hundreds of workers are protesting from one company in South China—and they work for a main supplier to Apple computers.

The world is still wondering, where exactly did the pandemic come from? A vital clue could be sitting inside tens of thousands of blood samples in Wuhan.
