Maine hospital closes NICU because of staffing shortages due to vaccine mandate

Employees at Central Maine Healthcare in Lewiston are required to get vaccinated against COVID-19. In 18 days’ time, WGME-TV reports, any health care worker who is not vaccinated faces termination.
Staff resignations in protest of the vaccine policy have forced the hospital to close its NICU, leaving only four other NICUs open in the state.
Additionally, the hospital on Monday announced on its website that pediatric, heart attack, and trauma patients who came to the hospital would be assessed and stabilized, but sent to another facility if they need to be admitted, WMTW-TV reports.
But on Tuesday the announcement was removed without explanation, and it is unclear why those hospital admissions were temporarily suspended.
Federal judge rules religious exemptions to vaccine mandates must be allowed

A federal judge in New York ruled on Tuesday that religious exemptions for health care workers must be upheld in spite of the state’s sweeping COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
Health care workers filed a lawsuit over the mandate, which led to Tuesday’s ruling that religious exemptions must be allowed, Spectrum News reported.
U.S. District Judge David Hurd of the Northern District of New York, in a 27-page ruling, banned any retaliation by state health officials against health care workers who do not want to be vaccinated due to religious reasons.
Climate activists descend on the White House, vandalize a statue of Andrew Jackson, issue demands

The group, which calls itself the Build Back Fossil Free coalition, will reportedly be protesting the Biden administration’s climate change plan for five days.
Members are attempting to encourage the president to declare a national emergency and terminate projects that involve fossil fuels.
The group’s website reads, “Joe Biden, you must live up to your promises and take executive action to deliver healthy communities, millions of good-paying jobs, and a better life for people on the frontlines of fossil fuel racism, pollution, and the climate crisis.”

Government Watchdog Launches Investigation into DOJ Targeting of ‘Domestic Terrorist’ Parents Opposed to Critical Race Theory

Using the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), PPT is also seeking corroborating records from the Department of Education and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in order to ascertain if these federal agencies colluded with the NSBA to achieve a political end.
As Breitbart News previously reported, “Days after a national organization representing school board officials lamented to the Biden administration about ‘hate groups’ intimidating education officials, Attorney General Merrick Garland has directed the FBI to combat ‘threats of violence’ against administrators.”
“The timing of the Attorney General’s letter contributes to a public perception that the federal government is targeting parents who have spoken up against policies being advanced by the Administration’s local union allies,” the group’s press release stated.
“Using domestic terrorism as the rationale has only heightened the perception that Americans’ civil rights are being threatened for improper purposes.”
Congressman: FBI is targeting anti-CRT parents to SILENCE THEM
Why is school board tension between locally, elected officials and anti-CRT parents a FEDERAL matter?
Congressman Chris Stewart tells Glenn the federal government would only involve the FBI in such an issue IF its purpose is to silence and intimidate parents concerned about the ‘poison’ being taught to their kids in school.
So, what can he — and other representatives who disagree with the Biden administration’s overreach of power — do to stop it?
Rep. Stewart details to Glenn the letter that he — and 60 other representatives — recently sent to Attorney General Merrick Garland demanding answers.
And though a letter may feel like a weak UN reprimand, Stewart tells Glenn with Democrats in power it’s one of the best tools at their disposal…
911 System In Jeopardy As First Responders Reject Jab

“The magnitude has really blown up over the last few months,” AAA President Shawn Baird told NBC News.
“When you take a system that was already fragile and stretched it because you didn’t have enough people entering the field, then you throw a public health emergency and all of the additional burdens that it put on our workforce, as well as the labor shortages across the entire economy, and it really has put us in a crisis mode,” Baird said.
What’s making the EMS labor shortage worse is President Biden’s vaccine mandates. First responders are quitting across the county because they don’t want to get the jab and have realized they can transfer to other higher-paying jobs.
Woman fires shots after suspect tries to sexually assault her, Rock Hill police say
The victim told officers a man wearing a blue hoodie and skinny jeans grabbed her and tried to pull her pants down, Chavis said. The victim told officers she fought back against the suspect as the suspect attempted to pull the woman into nearby woods, Chavis said.
The victim was armed, Chavis said. The victim was able to pull her gun and fire shots that caused the suspect to flee on foot toward Celanese Road, Chavis said.
The victim then called police. Patrol officers, detectives, forensic units, and K-9 teams tried to track the suspect but were unable to find him, Chavis said.
NYPD officer opens fire at suspected members of high-end robbery ring

The crew tools around in Mercedes-Benzes and BMWs to pull off its heists, which cops believe include at least 12 robberies across Manhattan, Queens and the Bronx — netting more than $4 million in jewelry and watches just since August, sources said.
The robbers — who call themselves “OED” for “Own Every Dollar” — are affiliated with the notorious Trinitarios gang in the Bronx and suspected in at least one homicide, sources said.
Monday’s robbery-crew incident was at least the second tied to Pergola, where a 34-year-old man had $100,000 worth of jewelry — including an Audemars Piguet watch — stolen from him when he left there early Aug. 19.
NYC police ID robbery suspect wanted in broad daylight beat down of elderly woman caught on camera

NYPD Crime Stoppers identified the suspect as Jeffery Evans, releasing a photo of the man still wanted for attempted robbery in connection to an incident that happened at 4:41 p.m. on Sept. 28 at the intersection of St. Edwards and Willoughby streets in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene neighborhood.
Police released disturbing videos about a week ago showing a man hop off his bicycle and run after a woman who heads into the middle of the street. He attempted to grab the woman’s bag, but she appears to resist and a struggle between the two ensued.
The man eventually is seen punching the woman and dragging her across the pavement, back onto the sidewalk. Now knocked to the ground, the victim still clings to her purse and other belongings as the man continues to strike her.
NYPD is offering a reward of up to $3,500. Anyone with information can call or direct message NYPDTips at 800-577-TIPS.
Ferndale pastor with 8 DUI arrests accused of trying to kill deputies with car

The pastor’s name is David Jones, and according to the Hilton Oaks Baptist Church Facebook page, he gave sermons regularly at the church.
Court documents show Jones had a long history of drinking and driving, and his latest arrest was in August in Oakland County.
Police say he was intoxicated and refused to cooperate and do anything the deputies asked.
Moments later, they say Jones took off across the highway, pulled into a parking lot and then eventually slammed his car into the back of the building.
The pastor then allegedly turned around and sped into a patrol car that had pursued him, Arena County Undersheriff Don McIntyre told the outlet.
Shocking video of Alexandria school violence reignites School Resource Officer discussion

The Alexandria City Council decided in May – following a year of national protests calling for police departments be defunded – to remove the school resource officers, and reallocate $800,000 in funding to hire mental health counselors.
The officers were let go at the beginning of the school year, but no such counselors have been hired, ABC7 reported.
“I think not having them there has made it, I hate to say, almost a free-for-all,” a local mother, Jennifer Rohrbach, told ABC7.
End Covid Repression, Let Life Resume
Parts of America still demand that kids and vaccinated adults wear masks, even outdoors. Australia and China enforce even more tyrannical lockdowns.
But now that vaccines protect most of us from serious Covid reactions, continuing such mandates is cruel.
Denmark realizes that. They recently ended ALL their Covid restrictions.
“Go Denmark. We in the United States should do the same,” Economist Don Boudreaux says. The costs of restrictions now dramatically outweigh the benefits.
Large Group of Migrant Children Abandoned near Border in Arizona Desert

Tucson Sector Chief Patrol Agent Sabri Dikman tweeted a photo of a large group of migrants apprehended by Three Points Station agents.
He reported that three-quarters of the migrants apprehended in the group that were abandoned by human smugglers in the desert were unaccompanied alien children.
“Large groups of mostly children continue to be exploited by smugglers who leave them at the border for agents to encounter,” Dikman stated.
Tucson Sector agents frequently encounter large groups of unaccompanied migrant children who are led across the border and then left to fend for themselves, Breitbart Texas reported.

Mom Reports School To Police For Promoting Gay Porn Book To Children

The book, which is currently ranked no. 11 in Amazon’s “LGBTQ+ Graphic Novels” section, features discussion of gay sexual fantasies and is incredibly graphic, including scenes of gay men having sex and a scene of one man performing oral sex on another.
It also focuses on “bonding with friends over erotic gay fanfiction,” and is intended for those aged “16 years and up” according to its Amazon description.
As one reviewer points out, the book gets even more disgusting in a scene where a young person (who appears to be a boy but is suggested to have female organs) is encouraged by her sister to “taste” herself.

Former DNI Ratcliffe says he’s given Durham 1,000 intel documents he thinks support more charges

Ratcliffe, who oversaw the country’s 17 intelligence agencies in the latter part of the Trump administration, announced in October that he handed over the roughly 1,000 pages of materials to the Justice Department to assist with Durham’s investigation, according to the Washington Examiner.
Ratcliffe has also declassified two heavily redacted Russia-related documents, including handwritten notes from former CIA Director John Brennan showing he briefed then-President Barack Obama in 2016 on an unverified Russian intelligence report.
The report claimed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton planned in July 2016 on tying then-candidate Donald Trump to Russia’s hack of the Democratic National Committee to distract from her improper use of a private email server, the Examiner also reports.
‘Very real possibility’ Biden could decline quickly
Sky News Washington Correspondent Annelise Nielsen says there is a “very real possibility” US President Joe Biden could decline quickly.
“I have to say, for someone watching this day in, day out, it’s not something to discount,” she told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“We do know he’s quite advanced in age and that doesn’t mean that it precludes you from doing the job but there’s definitely at least a bit of cause for concern among the general populace.”
Tucker: Biden paints unvaccinated Americans as root cause of country’s problems
‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ host sounds off on Biden’s attacks on the unvaccinated:
As you watch it, ask yourself, has any president in our history ever talked about millions of American citizens like this?
This is the way presidents talk about foreign enemies or dictators talk about enemies in their midst.
It’s not the way American presidents talk, or ever have. Ever, for any reason, under any circumstances. We can’t think of a single example, even during the Civil War.

The 2020 Election Wasn’t Stolen, It Was Bought By Mark Zuckerberg

During the 2020 election, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg spent hundreds of millions of dollars to turn out likely Democratic voters. But this wasn’t traditional political spending.
He funded a targeted, private takeover of government election operations by nominally non-partisan — but demonstrably ideological — non-profit organizations.
CTCL demanded the promotion of universal mail-in voting through suspending election laws, extending deadlines that favored mail-in over in-person voting, greatly expanding opportunities for “ballot curing,” expensive bulk mailings, and other lavish “community outreach” programs that were directed by private activists.
Although CTCL and CEIR are chartered as non-partisan 501(c)(3) corporations, our research suggests the $419.5 million of CTCL and CEIR spending that took place in 2020 was highly partisan in its distribution and its effects.

China’s plan to build more coal-fired plants deals blow to UK’s Cop26 ambitions

In a statement after a meeting of Beijing’s National Energy Commission, the Chinese premier, Li Keqiang, stressed the importance of regular energy supply, after swathes of the country were plunged into darkness by rolling blackouts that hit factories and homes.
Beijing’s ambitions for carbon dioxide output are seen as critical in the push to achieve global net zero carbon emissions by 2050 and fulfil the 2015 Paris agreement to limit average temperature rises to 1.5C.
But Li said Beijing wanted to gather new evidence on when its peak emissions would be reached.

Teen Arrested for Using President Macron’s Personal Vaccine Pass QR Code

The teen presented the French leader’s QR code at the Salvator Hospital of Marseille last Tuesday. Security guards realised the young man was attempting to enter the hospital using bogus credentials but allowed him to enter before informing the police.
Officers arrived at the hospital and took the teen into custody, with a source close to the investigation telling news website Actu17 on the weekend: “He explained that he had an appointment and had to participate in a working group. Given that he did not have a health pass, he decided to present that of Emmanuel Macron, which had been leaked on the internet a few weeks ago.”
The leaking of President Macron’s QR code on social media networks had raised concerns over the system’s ability to protect the privacy of French citizens.
Kim vows to build ‘invincible’ military while slamming U.S.

In an apparent continued effort to drive a wedge between Washington and Seoul, Kim also used his speech at a rare exhibition of weapons systems Monday to stress that his military might isn’t targeted at South Korea and that there shouldn’t be another war pitting Korean people against each other.
Calling the United States a “source” of instability on the Korean Peninsula, Kim said his country’s most important objective is possessing an “invincible military capability” that no one can dare challenge.
The exhibition featured an array of newly developed weapons, including intercontinental ballistic missiles North Korea has already test-launched or displayed during military parades in recent years, experts say.
“Basically, North Korea wants to send this message: ‘We’ll continue to develop new weapons and arm ourselves with nuclear force, so don’t slap sanctions with these as we can’t agree on the double standards,’” Yang said.

Mollie Hemingway: What happened during the 2020 election must be investigated and discussed

If questioning the results of a presidential election were a crime, as many have asserted in the wake of the controversial 2020 election and its aftermath, then much of the Democratic Party and media establishment should have been indicted for their behavior following the 2016 election.
In fact, the last time Democrats fully accepted the legitimacy of a presidential election they lost was in 1988.
At the drop of a hat, America’s electoral system went from irredeemably corrupt and broken in 2016 to unquestionably safe in 2020.
What happened during the 2020 election must be investigated and discussed, not in spite of media and political opposition to an open inquiry, but because of that opposition. The American people deserve to know what happened.
