Alexis Sharkey, whose legal name was Alexis Leigh Robinault, was found dead last November, naked on the side of the road in Houston, Texas. Medical examiner records show that she was strangled to death. Internet speculation turned to her husband, though authorities did not immediately press charges.

In the end, that investigation went straight to Tom Sharkey. He denied wrongdoing last year. Sharkey told KTRK that when he last saw his wife, he told her not to drive under the influence. He said their marriage was happy, but that his wife was unhappy and stressed.

Marshals said they ultimately tracked Tom Sharkey to Fort Myers, Florida, where he was living with his daughter.

They knocked on the door and announced themselves, and the daughter and her boyfriend stepped out, according to authorities. Marshals said they searched the home and found Tom Sharkey dead from a gunshot wound to the head.

The US Government Is Covertly Recruiting Google To Surveil Americans’ Web Searches

The U.S. government is covertly recruiting Google, which maintains access to swaths of Americans’ personal data and information, to surveil their web searches, a new report from Forbes suggests.

Google has also been a key player in the government’s plot to track down people present on Capitol grounds on Jan. 6. According to Wired, the federal government has sustained 45 criminal cases that use Google geolocation data “to place suspects inside the US Capitol on January 6.”

Wired not only notes that Google’s participation in the FBI’s reliance on geolocation is “at a scale not publicly seen before,” but that there were “at least six [warrants] where the identity of the suspect appears to have been unknown to the FBI prior to the geofence warrant.”

Three of the perpetrators were willing to pay to have sex with people they thought were minors. Ten minors reported missing were recovered during a simultaneous operation carried out by the U.S. Marshals Service.

Fifty-one women, would-be victims, were provided assistance by social service advocates. It was unclear how many of the women were charged.

Most of those arrested were charged with engaging in prostitution, a first-degree misdemeanor. Other charges related to drugs and firearms.

A change in state law passed in the spring requires those convicted to undergo human trafficking education.

Message to House Committee on Oversight & Reform: I’ll be YOUR Huckleberry, too!

The House is swinging into action against the people trying to expose the greatest swindle in US history. They are holding a hearing tomorrow, with the Maricopa officials who were part of it. Read how they seek to stack the deck:

I, Patrick Byrne, worked with Arizonians whose grassroots efforts nurtured the audit into existence, I arranged funding for much of the audit, and most of the money was mine (I think Mike Flynn and my organizations together put in nearly $5 million, of which about 80% was from the America Project (but about 2/3 of that was from me personally).

Given the number of interviews, social emdia posts, and essays I have written explaining my involvement I would have thought I was hard to miss, but there you have it, House Committee on Oversight: that “dark money” you are hoping to track down is none other than…. ME! 🙂

Good news though, Ms. Gao! And Chair Maloney! I have checked my schedule, and I am indeed available tomorrow morning at 10 A.M. Eastern.

Victor Davis Hanson: Dems using Facebook scandal to weaponize government against free speech

(Fox News)
(Fox News)

“As Joe Biden drops in popularity and as every one of the issues of their agenda become more unpopular, they’re going to try to increase and weaponize the federal government. And that’s just because they don’t have popular support.

And we’re already seeing it,” Hanson said when host Laura Ingraham asked him why he thought Democrats were speaking out so staunchly against Facebook.

Hanson stated that no one on the left spoke out when riots, arson, looting and violations of quarantine were taking place in 2020 following the death of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer, events that he pointed out were coordinated on social media.

“Not one person on the left said, ‘Wow, we’ve got to stop this,’” he said. “All of those things are coordinated on social media and nobody said a word.”

Democrats and Media Do Not Want to Weaken Facebook, Just Commandeer its Power to Censor

Congress has taken no steps to curb the influence of these Silicon Valley giants because Facebook and Google drown the establishment wings of both parties with enormous amounts of cash and pay well-connected lobbyists who are friends and former colleagues of key lawmakers to use their D.C. influence to block reform.

And that is Facebook’s only real political problem: not that they are too powerful but that they are not using that power to censor enough content from the internet that offends the sensibilities and beliefs of Democratic Party leaders and their liberal followers, who now control the White House, the entire executive branch and both houses of Congress.

Haugen herself, now guided by long-time Obama operative Bill Burton, has made explicitly clear that her grievance with her former employer is its refusal to censor more of what she regards as “hate, violence and misinformation.”

Iran dissidents warn of regime’s use of drones to ‘destabilize’ region, using materials from China

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), an umbrella group of Iranian resistance groups that oppose the regime, released evidence in a press conference it says shows the production and utilization of unmanned aerial vehicles (UACs) for terrorist operations and for assisting its proxies in the Middle East – including aerial photographs of the alleged sites and details that have emerged from inside the country.

The group alleges that the regime, which has been rocked by a slew of economic sanctions imposed by the Trump administration as well as protests at home and challenges related to its handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, has used a web of industries to spend billions of dollars to produce components or smuggle them in from foreign countries.

All in all, it identifies eight alleged UAV manufacturing bases and seven more for maintenance and other services — while the Quds forces is working to make sure that the drone program equips proxies in the region, including in Yemen, Syria and Lebanon, with the advanced technology.
