In The News:
Biden admin banning importation of Russian guns, ammo for at least a year

The department said the sanctions on Russian firearms and ammunition is due to the Russian Federation’s “use of a ‘Novichok’ nerve agent in the August 2020 poisoning of Russian opposition figure Aleksey Navalny.”
“Restrictions on the permanent imports of certain Russian firearms. New and pending permit applications for the permanent importation of firearms and ammunition manufactured or located in Russia will be subject to a policy of denial,” the department stated.
According to the National Association for Gun Rights, the sanctions will make the popular 7.62×39 rifle round “used by sportsmen, hunters, and Second Amendment enthusiasts alike…impossible to find.”
Russian-made brands like Wolf, Bear, Tulammo, Barnaul, and Red Army Standard, which are popular imported ammo options for American gunowners, are likely to be among those impacted by the restrictions.
Video: USAF Academy forces cadets to watch pro-Black Lives Matter video before attending school

Incoming U.S. Air Force Academy cadets are forced to watch a video on “diversity and inclusion” promoting the Black Lives Matter movement as part of an introduction to the school.
The educational video pauses and provides the student watching with three choices on how to respond to the situation. Every choice supports the Black Lives Matter movement, including “tell Jose to share his perspective with Jeff about why Black Lives Matter is important,” “Tell Jeff that he’s naïve, his comments are racist, and he should leave,” and “Engage in a conversation with Jeff about his comments and assumptions.”
The video is part of the Air Force Academy’s “Diversity, Equity & Inclusion” training provided to incoming cadets.
The school’s Chief of Media Relations Dean J. Miller told Fox News last week that the pro-Black Lives Matter video is “required training for inbound cadets (appointees) ahead of their arrival to the U.S. Air Force Academy.”

But it looks like Zbee will redirect interaction into positive behavior, which cynicism about objectively bad states of affairs may not necessarily go anywhere meaningful.
Middle school teacher under investigation after saying it would be ‘lucky’ if unvaccinated people die

When one person responded to the post expressing discomfort in wishing “ill even on the willingly ignorant,” the teacher doubled down, suggesting that allowing unvaccinated people to die would also solve the problem of people who vote “the wrong way.”
“I have no problem with that. If we’re lucky we can cut out 30% of the population that votes the wrong way,” the teacher responded.
“Plus less people using up all the resources,” the teacher added. “Let the hunger games begin.”
Biden Admin Charging U.S. Citizens $2,000 For Evacuation Flights Out Of Afghanistan, Report Says
“Even though U.S. officials tell NatSec Daily and others that evacuation flights from Kabul will be free, people trying to catch a plane in the Afghan capital say differently,” Politico reported.
“One person said State Department staff were seeking large payments — up to $2,000 — from American passengers and even more from non-U.S. citizens.”
Politico says that it confronted the State Department over the matter, which they said did not deny that it was happening.
State Department Spokesman Ned Price claimed to the Daily Caller that the administration has “no intention of seeking any reimbursement from those fleeing Afghanistan,” which contradicts what the State Department said over the weekend.
Report: Biden administration stockpiled weapons in Afghanistan just months before collapse – for the Taliban?

Reuters is now reporting that despite the Biden administration’s planned withdrawal from the country, they continued sending significant amounts of military equipment to the country.
Why would the administration ship firearms, drones, communication gear, etc., to a country they planned on abandoning within months?
One other concern is that despite the administration downplaying the Taliban getting the technologically advanced equipment due to their inexperience in utilizing it, China and Russia, which DO have experience have both made friendly overtures to the terrorist regime.
Neither China nor Russia have closed their embassies in Afghanistan, an indication that they wish to engage with the Taliban. Both of those countries, which possess similar technology to the US could provide the training necessary to the terrorist group.

Trump Jr. scolds media for failing to report Biden being held in ‘contempt’

“Those who have never fought for the colors they fly should be careful about criticizing those who have?”
Joe Biden has been a senator, vice president, and now president, in his long career inside the Washington establishment.
It was the U.K. Telegraph that reported politicians in the U.K. last week united “to condemn ‘dishonor’ of U.S. president’s withdrawal and his criticism of Afghan troops left behind to face Taliban.”
Biden’s actions were characterized as “catastrophic” and “shameful.”
The comments came as the Houses of Parliament “delivered an unprecedented rebuke to a U.S. president,” the report explained.
Emboldened Iran To Hold War Drills With Russia and China

Iran is set to hold a series of war drills with Russia and China, as the hardline regime celebrates the United States’ bungled evacuation in Afghanistan and boosts its enrichment of nuclear weapons-grade uranium to historically high levels.
Iranian and Russian leaders announced on Monday that their countries, along with China, will hold joint maritime war exercises in the Persian Gulf later this year or early in 2022, according to Iran’s state-controlled media.
The countries said they will focus on “shipping security and combating piracy” as the United States reduces its military footprint in the region following its marred withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Iran’s foreign ministry announced that “Iran is in contact with all parties in Afghanistan to pave the ground for dialogue and reconciliation” and that the Russian and Chinese embassies remain functioning.
Taliban announces ‘red line’ against Biden’s new US troop extension idea – tells Biden there will be consequences

Taliban spokesman Dr. Suhail Shaheen set August 31 as a cut-off date for evacuations in an interview with Sky News that aired Monday.
“It’s a red line. President Biden announced that on 31 August they would withdraw all their military forces. So if they extend it that means they are extending occupation while there is no need for that,” Shaheen said.
“If the U.S. or U.K. were to seek additional time to continue evacuations – the answer is no.
Or there would be consequences. It will create mistrust between us. If they are intent on continuing the occupation it will provoke a reaction.”
