Nearly 1,800 Americans directly affected by the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks are opposing President Joe Biden’s participation in any memorial events this year unless he upholds his pledge to declassify U.S. government evidence that they believe may show a link between Saudi Arabian leaders and the attacks.

The group says that as a candidate Biden pledged to be more transparent and release as much information as possible but that his administration has since then ignored their letters and requests.

“Since the conclusion of the 9/11 Commission in 2004 much investigative evidence has been uncovered implicating Saudi government officials in supporting the attacks,” the statement says.

“Through multiple administrations, the Department of Justice and the FBI have actively sought to keep this information secret and prevent the American people from learning the full truth about the 9/11 attacks.”

Physician Speaks Out Against ‘Vaccine Mandates for All’ — Especially Children and Those With Natural Immunity

Martin Adel "Marty" Makary is an American surgeon, professor and author.
Martin Adel “Marty” Makary is an American surgeon, professor and author.

Dr. Marty Makary, a professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and editor-in chief of MedPage Today, is pushing back against the growing drumbeat for mass vaccinations and COVID vaccine mandates.

In an interview with U.S. New & World Reports, Makary said mandating vaccines for “every living, walking American” is not well-supported by science. Makary also expressed concerns about the two-dose vaccine regimen for adolescents.

Makary told U.S. News & World Report that as a physician, he believes “you win more bees with honey than with fire — referring to patients who don’t follow what “we ask them to do.”

Makary believes people “who choose not to get vaccinated are making a poor health decision at their own individual risk.” But he doesn’t believe the unvaccinated pose a public health threat to those who are already immune to the virus.

Makary said:

Students Ask Supreme Court to Block College Vaccine Mandate

It’s the first time the high court has been asked to weigh in on a vaccine mandate and comes as some corporations, states and cities are also contemplating or have adopted vaccine requirements for workers or even to dine indoors.

The case is not the first time a coronavirus-related issue has been before the court. In rulings over the past year the conservative-dominated high court has largely backed religious groups who have challenged restrictions on indoor services during the cononavirus pandemic.

In the current case, however, a three-judge federal appeals court panel, including two judges appointed by former President Donald Trump, was one of two lower courts to side with Indiana University and allow it to require the vaccinations.

The Biden Administration announced on Friday it is extending its pause on student loan payments and interest through Jan. 31, 2022.

The Department of Education said it will be its “final extension of the pause on student loan repayment, interest, and collections,” stating they feel it’s a necessary move to allow borrowers more time to plan to begin repayments to avoid defaults and delinquency.

In its press release, the Department noted it has taken a number of steps in an attempt to provide relief for student loan borrowers, including approving $1.5 billion in borrower defense claims, extending full relief to approved claims and approving new types of claims.

Republican Issues Subpoenas for Wisconsin Election Info

The leader of the state Assembly’s elections committee issued subpoenas Friday demanding extensive election materials, including all ballots and voting machines, from two Wisconsin counties in what she called a “top-to-bottom” investigation of the state’s 2020 presidential results.

Republican Rep. Janel Brandtjen said she has sent subpoenas to Milwaukee and Brown counties for election materials. Brandtjen said last month that she wanted to conduct a review similar to a widely discredited audit performed in Arizona. Brandtjen and other Wisconsin Republicans traveled to that state in June to observe the review.

“Legislators have been hearing from thousands of disgruntled constituents regarding their concerns with the November 2020 election,” Brandtjen said in a news release.

Australian media promotes ‘Chinese propaganda’ on Twitter to criticise our journalists

The China Daily released a propaganda film attempting to criticise Sky News Australia journalist Sharri Markson over her coverage of the Wuhan lab leak theory.

In the video, which references news articles from The Guardian as evidence, Markson’s work was described as being a “conspiracy theory”.

The ABC’s Wendy Harmer tweeted a link to the article suggesting Markson would be responsible for World War 3, before deleting the tweet a few hours later.

ABC communications boss Nick Leys declined to say whether the tweet was a breach of social media policies or whether the ABC had asked Harmer to delete it.

The Guardian also declined to comment.

Sky News Digital Editor Jack Houghton said it was strange that Australian journalists would promote Chinese propaganda in a bid to attack one of our own journalists.
