FBI Special Agent Richard Trask, 39, of Kalamazoo, was charged Monday with assault with intent to do great bodily harm, less than murder following a domestic incident with his wife Sunday.

He was released on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond following an arraignment in 8th District Court in Kalamazoo and faces a charge punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Defense lawyers have raised questions about the other lead investigator, FBI Special Agent Henrik Impola.

Impola came under defense scrutiny earlier this month after a lawyer for co-defendant Barry Croft suggested Impola was trying to sabotage defense teams.

Croft’s lawyer Joshua Blanchard revealed the existence of a recording in which Impola discussed creating “disarray and chaos” for defense lawyers, whom he labeled “paid liars.”

Maj. Gen. Timothy E. Gowen, the adjutant general for the Maryland National Guard, warned in a letter Tuesday to members of Congress that the Guard is so short on money that he may have to resort to deep budget cuts in the coming weeks.

“Obviously this was not an event anyone in the National Guard had planned for so there was not funding set aside for such activities,” Gowen wrote in letters that were sent to all 10 members of the state’s Congressional delegation.

The matter of reimbursement appears to have gotten tangled in larger fights in Congress over the budget and security improvements to the U.S. Capitol complex.

Gov. Larry Hogan posted Gowen’s letter across his social media platforms Tuesday.

There are dozens of fires burning across the American west. The Tamarack fire, which crossed into Nevada, is burning south of Lake Tahoe and had burned more than 68 sq miles (176 sq km) of timber and head-high chaparral in national forest land as of Thursday.

It erupted on 4 July and was one of nearly two dozen blazes sparked by lightning strikes.

More than 1,200 firefighters were battling the Alpine county blaze, which has destroyed at least 10 buildings, forced evacuations in several communities and had closed parts of US 395 in Nevada and California.

Fire officials expected active or extreme fire behavior on Thursday, which could see 14mph (23km/h) winds and temperatures approaching 90F (32C).

“I’ve directed my staff to determine whether any specific action taken by Ben & Jerry’s or Unilever would trigger a listing under Chapter 808 of the Texas Government Code,” which prohibits the state’s pension fund from investing in companies that refuse to operate in an “Israeli-controlled territory,” State Comptroller Glenn Hegar told CNBC.

Ben & Jerry’s boycott could also force a dozen other states with similar laws, including New Jersey, Illinois, and Florida, to divest from the British conglomerate.

Florida chief financial officer Jimmy Patronis, who manages his state’s pension fund, said his office is evaluating the issue, according to CNBC.

More than 30 states have anti-boycott laws and executive orders, including measures that could prohibit state governments from working with Unilever and Ben & Jerry’s.

Husband and his dad sentenced to life in prison for murdering wife

Jurors in April found Christopher Otero-Rivera and his father, Angel Luis Rivera, guilty of second-degree murder, abuse of a body and evidence tampering in the killing of Nicole Montalvo.

Montalvo, 35, disappeared on October 21, 2019, after dropping the couple’s 8-year-old son off at the Rivera home in St Cloud, the Orlando Sentinel reported. Investigators later found some of Montalvo’s remains at the home.

‘I cannot ignore the brutality of your efforts to cover up that crime and the pain that it brought to the family as they desperately searched,’ Judge Keith Carsten told the defendants on Wednesday, as reported by Orlando Sentinel.

Nine people charged with stalking US residents for China

A Chinese female prosecutor and a former New York City Police Department detective are among nine people charged with stalking and harassing US residents in a bid to pressure them to return home to China.

The nine people were named in a superseding federal indictment filed in Brooklyn on Thursday that accuses them of working as illegal spies to stalk Chinese citizens living in the US.

The indictment alleges that the nine defendants were acting on direction from officials in the People’s Republic of China in a brazen campaign called Operation Fox Hunt.

The New Jersey man is a former Chinese government employee.

Incel, 21, is arrested for ‘planning mass shooting at Ohio college’

Federal prosecutors revealed that Genco identifies as an ‘incel’ – involuntary celibate – and that he has interacted with an online community of mostly men who advocate for violence against women because they believe they are unjustly denied sexual or romantic attention.

When he was taken into custody on Wednesday, police found a gun with a bump stock attached, body armor and boxes of ammunition in his car. They also found a Glock-style 9mm semiautomatic pistol hidden in a heating vent in his home.

Genco attended Army Basic Training at Ft. Benning, Georgia, that same month until December 2019 when he was discharged for poor performance and conduct.

On returning to Ohio, he allegedly wrote another manifesto called ‘Isolated,’ which he signed ‘Your hopeful friend and murder.’

Pat’s Steaks Shooting: Suspect arrested after deadly shooting outside popular cheesesteak shop

Witnesses told police that a physical altercation erupted between two men who were waiting in line. During the fight, police say one of the men fatally shot the other and fled in a van.

The 23-year-old shooting victim was taken to Jefferson Hospital where he died from a single gunshot wound to the torso, according to police.

Witnesses told investigators the license plate number of the van that the suspect drove off in, which helped officers quickly locate and arrest the man.

FOX 29 exclusive video shows the suspect being arrested and lead to a police car outside Independence Hall in Center City. The driver of the van has not been found.

EXCLUSIVE: Border Patrol Reports 300K Got-Aways in 2021 – 1600 Daily

According to the source, on average, 1,600 migrants avoid capture daily. In 2020, 69,000 migrants managed to avoid apprehension by the Border Patrol.

During this fiscal year, which began in October, more than 1 million migrants have been apprehended along the southern border.

The June Southwest Border Land Encounters Report released by U.S. Customs and Border Protection showed a massive increase in apprehensions when compared to the same period one year earlier when agents apprehended only 129,077 migrants.

From February 1 to June 30, Border Patrol agents apprehended 791,571 migrants who illegally crossed the border from Mexico.

The agents took the five Mexican nationals and the driver of the truck into custody. They also seized the small quantity of marijuana.

“Human smugglers continue to have no regard for the safety and health of the people they exploit as they are treated like a commodity for profit,” Laredo Sector officials said in a written statement.

Vehicles such as box trucks are increasingly being used when trying to circumvent checkpoints to violate the immigration laws of the Nation.”

Laredo Sector agents apprehended nearly 87,000 migrants during the first nine months of Fiscal Year 2021 (October 2020 through June 2021), according to the June Southwest Land Border Encounters report.

More than 10,000 of those apprehensions occurred in the month of June.

DHS: Returning Deported Migrants Need Federal Aid for Housing

The housing aid is being offered to lawfully deported migrants who are being invited to return by Joe Biden’s pro-migration deputies. Progressives argue the aid is deserved because the migrants were unfairly separated from their children during the deportation process.

Yet any housing given to migrants will raise Americans’ rents, including the rents paid by the poor and minority Americans whom progressives claim to support.

In June, Mayorkas said he will put the dignity of foreign migrants “foremost in our efforts.” For example, he ended the Trump administration’s “Public Charge” barring the award of green cards to migrants who would rely on taxpayer aid.

DASHCAM: Officer Attacked, Strangled During Traffic Stop In Aurora, Illinois

Police said the two female passengers ran after the officer and allegedly punched him and kicked him in the body and head. Around this time, the officer said he heard a male’s voice and was “struck repeatedly in the head from several angles,” police said.

“A minor infraction that likely would have resulted in a citation at most turned into an officer fighting for his life,” said Aurora Police Chief Kristen Ziman, according to FOX 32.

All three suspects are out on bond, FOX 32 reported. Their arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 24.

ADMITTED IT! This Politician Says ‘We Have Everyone Else’ in Media (Except Fox)

There it is. “We have everyone else.” Here’s a screen shot of the tweet in case it gets deleted.

Now, we at the Media Research Center’s NewsBusters have known this for a while, but it’s not often that a Democrat will just come out and say it: ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, The New York TimesThe Washington Post and other outlets are all possessions of the Democratic Party.

Democrats know it. Republicans know it. And journalists, if they are honest, know it too.

Will we EVER see justice in the FBI, Trump, Russia investigation?

Americans are losing faith in our justice system and the idea that legal consequences are applied equally — even to powerful elites in office.

Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) joins Glenn to detail what he believes will come next with the Durham investigation, which hopefully will provide answers to the Obama FBI’s alleged attempts to sabotage President Trump and his campaign years ago.

We know Trump did NOT collude with Russia and that several members of the FBI possibly committed huge abuse of power. So, WHEN will we see justice?

The Real Reason Dems Have Resorted to Blaming Racism (Pt. 4) | Larry Elder | POLITICS | Rubin Report

Democrats are desperate to use systemic racism to get the black vote. In this clip Larry shares the horror stories he’s heard about the effects of lockdowns and how it’s been especially hard for fatherless sons who had a father figure in a coach or a teacher at school.

He explains the importance of fathers and how welfare has increased the amount of children born out of wedlock which has been a disaster in causing black violence.

He describes how the rise in black voters for Trump has worried Democrats to the point where their claims of systemic racism seem to be a desperate attempt to get black votes through fear.

He points out that policies like supporting school choice would give black families better options when it comes to their children’s education.

Despite this Democrats fight school choice and instead decide to favor teacher’s unions.

China is rapidly building a 3rd aircraft carrier and could finish this year, new satellite images show

On July 14, CSIS tweeted, “Recent satellite imagery suggests that China’s Type 003 aircraft carrier may be ready to launch later this year. Don’t miss CSIS’ latest High Resolution Spotlight.”

CSIS reported that imagery from China’s Jiangnan Shipyard in Shanghai, captured by Maxar Technologies on July 12, shows that construction of the carrier’s flight deck, basic superstructure, and its sponsons are nearly complete.

The rapid construction of China’s third aircraft carrier comes as China has quickly grown the size of its naval forces in recent years.

In 2019, China overtook the U.S. as the country with the largest Navy. China continued to expand its lead in 2020.

In April, China commissioned three new vessels, including a nuclear submarine, a helicopter carrier and a guided-missile destroyer in the same day.

In response to the ruling, Reverend Graham said: “This is an important moment for religious freedom in the UK.

“We’re grateful to God for the final outcome of this case, and for what it will mean for churches and Christians across the UK in the years ahead. The Good News of Jesus Christ must be proclaimed.

Exclusive: We Won’t Be ‘Intimidated’ by Communist China, Says Lithuanian MP on Opening of Taiwanese Embassy

On Tuesday, the government of Taiwan announced that it had come to an agreement to establish an embassy-style office in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius.

The move from the former Soviet bloc nation was seen by the tyrannical regime in Beijing as a breach of the so-called “One China” policy, under which the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) claims that Taiwan — a sovereign nation with its own currency and democratically elected leaders — is still part of China.

“We have been friendly with Taiwan for many years, on the parliamentary and governmental level, and I think that for all the world, or at least the free world, Hong Kong was a horrible lesson and I think that it was an eye-opener for Taiwan as well.

“They saw what it means to become unified with China, it means death by strangling.

Commentary/Opinion:

Is the FBI America’s Leading Terror Organization?

As details emerge of the FBI’s role in the plot to kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer, we have to consider the startling possibility that leading domestic terror organization in the country is the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The Antifa/FBI Coalition

Large group of FBI agents (25) take a knee with protestors near the national archive.
Large group of FBI agents (25) take a knee with protestors near the national archive.

It is routinely reported that “five people died as a result” of the Jan. 6 disturbance. This is a totally accurate statement, however, it is still misleading.

Only one of the deceased died as a result of violence. She was actually murdered by a government official.

Relating these deaths allows the media to routinely describe Jan. 6 as a “deadly insurrection” as opposed to the “mostly peaceful” protests by Antifa and BLM.

This was a major Deep State coup and the planning and execution of this “insurrection” reveal a disturbing relationship between the government and radical groups. The FBI did not only fail to adequately prevent the disturbance, they appear to have actively facilitated it. The FBI and radical leftists are branches of the Deep State.
