Report: Traumatized Ex-Harris Staffers Terrified at Thought of Her Becoming President

Working for Vice President Kamala Harris was so traumatizing for some former staffers, the experience has left them terrified at the thought of her becoming president, Insider reports:
The outlet interviewed a dozen former Harris staffers from various points in her political career, nearly all of whom “spoke on condition of anonymity to protect professional relationships, adding that Harris’ job trajectory means it’s well within reason she could become the most powerful person on the planet.”
That’s a terrifying prospect for ex-aides who recall a “toxic” and “reactionary” workplace infused with “a sense of paranoia in that office that you never knew when she was going to snap at you.”
One former staffer who had mostly positive things to say about Harris conceded that her staffers were often “so stressed out that they were making themselves sick.
Colorado judge jails serial rapist, 26, for more than 136 years

A Kansas man convicted of sexual assault in the rape of a woman in suburban Denver and of assaulting and carjacking another woman has been sentenced to life in Colorado state prison, with a judge telling the defendant that no woman in the nation would be safe if he is free.
Serial rapist Tre Carrasco, 26, was sentenced last Friday by Arapahoe County District Judge Ben Leutwyler to a total of 136 years in prison.
Carrasco was convicted in May of nearly a dozen charges, including felony sexual assault in the rape of an au pair in Cherry Hills Village in February 2019 and the attempted kidnapping of another woman whose vehicle he stole outside an Aurora gym.
Door-to-door COVID-19 vaccine programs kick off in three states

Door-to-door COVID-19 vaccination efforts are underway in three U.S. states after President Joe Biden announced the controversial initiative last week.
Counties in North Carolina, Georgia and Wisconsin have all launched strategies to go to people’s homes and share information on COVID-19 vaccines.
In some instances, officials will deliver the COVID-19 vaccines right to people’s doors, removing transportation barriers some may face in getting a shot.
However, several states such as South Carolina and Missouri have both rejected federal help for door-to-door vaccine programs in their state, calling it federal overreach.
Another child dies in home elevator accident, days after regulators pushed for recall

The elevator industry has known about this particular safety hazard for decades. It also has known about a simple way to prevent it: a $100 plastic or foam insert to block the gap.
But the industry officials have resisted calls to make these safety improvements, arguing to federal regulators that the problem was complicated and not their responsibility, according to a 2019 Washington Post investigation.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission that same year decided not to require companies to fix the elevators or conduct an industry-wide recall campaign. Instead, it published a little-notice safety alert on its website and mailed notices to governors in every state.
In the meantime, the accidents continued.
Vaccines, Reasons for Concern

Do the Covid vaccines work? If so, how well?
These questions are separate from the issue of whether vaccines should be mandated or their side effects. No serious person thinks masks protect their wearers, for example, but we mandated those for more than a year.
The clinical trials that Pfizer and Moderna ran last year didn’t show a 100 percent reduction in Covid cases. They also showed no evidence of what’s called antibody-dependent enhancement, that they would cause people to create antibodies that actually helped the virus attack our cells.
The trials had at least two other major flaws. They followed most participants for only about two months after the second dose. And when they calculated vaccine efficacy, they ignored cases that occurred just after the first dose was given.
This meant that when Pfizer and Moderna said in November 2020 their vaccines were about 95% effective at preventing Covid, what they meant was that the vaccines were 95% effective at peak protection FOR A MATTER OF WEEKS.
Neither the companies nor anyone else had any way of knowing how well the vaccines would work in a year, much less in five years – or 20 years.
California woman first to face federal charges over fake COVID immunizations, vaccination cards

Juli A. Mazi, 41, of Napa was arrested Wednesday and charged with one count of wire fraud and one count of false statements related to health care matters, the Department of Justice said in a press release.
“This defendant allegedly defrauded and endangered the public by preying on fears and spreading misinformation about FDA-authorized vaccinations, while also peddling fake treatments that put people’s lives at risk.
Authorities were first tipped off to Mazi’s alleged scheme in April, when a person contacted the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General’s hotline.
The tipster said family members had purchased immunization pellets from the doctor that “contained the COVID-19 virus and would create an antibody response in the immune system,” the DOJ said.
Stop Human Trafficking of Aborted Infants
CMP’s undercover videos also prompted an ongoing FBI and U.S. Department of Justice investigation of Planned Parenthood and others for illegal transfers of aborted fetal tissue.
The full truth about government-sponsored human trafficking of aborted infants has yet to be revealed.
Planned Parenthood and their powerful political allies have retaliated viciously against the publication of the videos, in a telling admission of how badly they got caught and how damning and incriminating the full truth will be.
Today, we demand that the human trafficking of aborted infants and their body parts stop and that public officials at all levels bring those responsible to justice under the law.
Trump Wins on First Amendment Grounds in Case Over “Fake News” Meme

New York Supreme Court Judge David Benjamin Cohen dismissed a case against Trump and social media personality Carpe Donktum. It was over this clearly satirical video poking fun at CNN’s biased reporting:
The good news is that the judge did dismiss the lawsuit:
The bad news is that despite the fact New York has an anti-SLAPP statute and this was clearly a frivolous lawsuit, the judge did not honor Donald Trump’s request to make the plaintiffs pay his legal fees.
In other words, in a real sense, even though Carpe Donktum and Donald Trump were found innocent, the system still didn’t work.

George Floyd mural destroyed by lightning strike, witnesses say — and reactions are particularly pointed

The building wall upon which the mural was painted collapsed, the station said, adding that WTVG’s Doppler radar showed a lightning strike around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the block where the building — which used to house the Mugshots Bar — is located.
“It was just age,” the inspector told the Blade, according to WTVG. “It just came away.” It’s unclear if Koogan is the city building inspector WTVG cited saying the building is structurally sound.
Commenters had a bit of a field day reacting to a WTVG investigative reporter’s tweet about the mural’s demise:
Massachusetts State Police struggling with staffing shortage

“This is the first time I’ve seen this in my career,” Sgt. Mike Cherven, a 25-year veteran of the state police and president of the State Police Association of Massachusetts, told NBC 10 in an interview. “I think we need more troopers and we need them now.”
He pointed to anti-police sentiment among the public and increasing retirements after several scandals rocked the department as part of the reasoning behind the staffing shortage.
He also told the outlet that many people looking to work in law enforcement seek jobs at local police departments that offer higher pay for higher education backgrounds.
Judge releases Jan. 6 defendant seen in viral video, says behavior appears ‘concerning,’ not violent

U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly said Tuesday deciding whether to free Jensen pending trial was a “close case” but he ultimately agreed to release him on house arrest with electronic location monitoring.
The judge also said Jensen is not accused of toppling any barricades, damaging any property or fighting with anybody at the Capitol.
Kelly also barred Jensen from accessing the internet on any electronic devices, the wire service also reports.

EXCLUSIVE Twitter sees jump in govt demands to remove content of journalists

Twitter Inc saw a surge in demands over the course of last year from governments around the world to take down content posted by journalists and news outlets, data to be released by the social media platform for the first time will show.

It declined to elaborate on which countries submitted the demands, or how many of the legal demands pertaining to journalists or news outlets the platform complied with.

Jen Psaki asks popstar Olivia Rodrigo, 18, to brief the press on COVID vaccines:

The White House wasted no time in utilizing the star power of Gen-Z superstar Olivia Rodrigo on Wednesday, when press secretary Jen Psaki invited the 18-year-old singer up to the podium to brief the media on the importance of vaccines ahead of her meeting with President Biden and Dr. Fauci.
Olivia, 18, was called upon to take the podium in the White House briefing room shortly after she was pictured arriving at the West Wing, looking every inch the pop sensation in a pink plaid Chanel suit, complete with a short mini skirt and matching jacket.
Even Psaki called on Olivia to lend some celebrity status to her daily press briefing, bringing the grinning TikTok star up to the podium to speak to the media about the importance of vaccines – and to gush about Biden and Fauci’s efforts in stemming the spread of the coronavirus.
Shortly after her appearance at the podium, a video of Olivia urging young people to get vaccinated was posted on the President’s official Instagram account, with the clip reiterating many of the points that the popstar had made during her impromptu briefing.
Republicans Protect America’s Reputation by Covering Up the Stolen 2020 Election
When the 2020 presidential election was stolen from President Trump, the Republican Establishment was happy to be rid of him.
Trump’s intent to bring the offshored corporate jobs back home to Americans where they belong was regarded as a threat to corporate profits. Wall Street and corporate executives were strongly opposed and used their influence against Trump.
Trump’s intent to normalize relations with Russia was regarded as a threat to the profits of defense contractors and to the budgets of the CIA and NSA.
Trump had no idea of the risks of going up against the military/security complex until Democrat Senator Schumer told him. Trump set himself up for destruction by the Deep State, the real government in America.
Understanding the correlation of forces, Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell aligned with the Democrats against the massive evidence that the election was stolen from Trump. The presstitutes had already shouted down the evidence with one voice: “there was no election fraud.”
America is finished, as are white people, because the belief system has been destroyed. There is no longer a nation, only a Tower of Babel in which power alone will rule.

Taliban militants were reported on Wednesday to have raised their flag at the key Spin Boldak crossing near Kandahar.
Paris in flames as protesters fight new Covid pass and vaccine laws

French cafe owners, hospital workers and parents are pushing back against Emmanuel Macron’s decision to instate a Covid pass for anyone over 12 visiting a restaurant and requiring all healthcare workers in the country get vaccinated.
Hundreds of protesters, chanting ‘Liberty! Liberty!’ took to the French capital on Bastille Day to rebel against President Macron’s controversial plans that were introduced this week in an attempt to tackle the nation’s surging coronavirus cases.
Large crowds were confronted by riot police, who fired tear gas to try to disperse the advancing group. Protesters and police kicked the tear gas canisters at each other, and cyclists calmly weaved through the crowd.
Macron’s call for ‘compulsory vaccinations’ the first step in ‘global authoritarian wave’
Sky News host Cory Bernardi says French President Emmanuel Macron announcing “compulsory COVID-19 vaccinations” is the first step in an “authoritarian wave set to sweep the world”.
“I say that because there is no way a nation like France would make such moves without the approval of others in the European Union,” Mr Bernardi said.
“And the Eurocrats who actually run the whole show, they will make sure these reforms are adopted in other European countries and then it is only a matter of time before it leeches out and reaches our shores.

Commentary/Opinion:
Big Tech Censorship Threatens Americans’ Constitutional Rights | Opinion

Who rules in America? Is it a handful of unaccountable elites, who concoct and enforce standards arbitrarily? Or is it the American people?
If the answer is the former, we should pack up the American experiment, issue aristocratic titles, and be done with the charade of having a Constitution.
Big Tech’s actions to censor everyday Americans stagger the imagination.
As our nation moves closer to being governed by unaccountable, unelected elites, we are here to hold them accountable because we aren’t ready to give up on the American experiment.
That doesn’t mean our fight will be easy.
So Much Evidence that January 6, 2021 was a Calculated Set-Up

Political persecution and isolation of vast swaths of the citizenry by the Justice Department, the Intelligence Community, and the Judiciary in the wake of the January 6, 2021, Capitol incursion should bring a chill down the spine of every American.
This same troika, but with different nomenclature, was mobilized by 20th Century despots to eliminate their political enemies and establish a police state.
The initial step in consolidating power is to incessantly demonize as enemies of the state one’s political opponents. The second is to isolate and delegitimize them by either staging or so exaggerating an incident that any and all steps to quash them are acceptable in order to “save the nation.”
Therefore, the question is: was January 6th pre-planned by legitimate Trump supporters, was it spontaneous or was it a calculated set-up?
The American Left and its wholly-owned subsidiaries, the Democrat party and the agitprop media (previously known as the mainstream media), have for the past 12 years cast conservatives and Republicans as promoters of “white supremacy.”
It was the Department of Homeland Security, at the behest of Barack Obama, that first declared in April of 2009 that right-wing terrorism or white supremacy was the greatest threat facing America. Despite the fact the number of actual white supremacists is minuscule.
