CDC FINALLY releases data behind new mask guidance

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has finally released the data that was behind its recent backtrack on mask recommendations for vaccinated Americans to wear masks in indoor places in COVID-19 hot spots.
In a report published on Friday, the federal health agency detailed a COVID-19 outbreak earlier this month in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, linked to the spread of the Indian ‘Delta’ variant.
Researchers found nearly three-quarters of the infections occurred in people who were fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with either of three shots approved in the U.S. for emergency use.
What’s more, tests showed that immunized people carried about the same viral levels in their noses and throats as unvaccinated people did.
Med school professors deny biological sex to avoid being called transphobic: report

Medical students at some schools are “taught that humans are not, like other mammals, a species comprising two sexes. The notion of sex, they are learning, is just a man-made creation,” reports Katie Herzog, who interviewed many students to determine the trend.
Herzog notes that not all medical school professors teach this, but plenty do, and that while some are “true believers,” others are afraid of their students.
Her report included anecdotes of professors under fire for using terms such as male and female, including one University of California professor who apologized to his class for using the term “pregnant women.”
First 200 Afghan allies who helped US in war on terror arrive in the US

Afghans who served as cultural specialists and interpreters for U.S. and Coalition troops throughout the two decades of military operations in Afghanistan have faced reprisals from Taliban militants.
The arrival of the at-risk Afghans, who are coming to the U.S. through a Special Immigrant Visas program, comes after Biden announced on July 8 that the U.S. would begin relocation flights by the end of July.
Biden said the arriving Afghan SIV applicants who served alongside U.S. forces have already been vetted with background checks and security screenings by the U.S. intelligence community and the Departments of State and Homeland Security (DHS).
Biden said those arriving SIV applicants and their family members will complete the final steps of their visa applications and required medical checks at Fort Lee, “before traveling onward to begin their new lives in the United States.”
Cult of intellectuality: The push for critical race theory in California schools

As the discussion on critical race theory continues across the country, several organizations are trying to keep the latest radical, toxic, and Marxist infiltration from the classrooms of California.
The struggle to accomplish this is difficult. Sticking to the core tenets of Marxism, CRT supporters seek to overthrow the existing system and vehemently reject those who oppose them.
They adhere to a cult of intellectuality, presuming their way of thinking is greater than, and morally superior to, that of anyone who opposes them. The most recent example of this happened in Orange County this week.
Cal State Northridge Professor Theresa Montaño, leading educator-activist for the Liberated Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum and ardent critical race theory supporter, did not feel speaking with people of diverse viewpoints was worth her time.

Basilico’s Pasta e Vino in Huntington Beach, California, shared a Facebook post on July 22 with photos showing two anti-vaccination signs on its windows that say:
“We have zero tolerance for treasonous, anti-American stupidity. Thank you for pondering.”
“More American counties, cities, and businesses doubling down on anti-American lockdown mandates? Well ‘Basilico’s Pasta e Vino’ just tripled down,” the restaurant’s Facebook post caption reads. “From day one, never complied, banned masks, and now … requiring proof of being Un-vaccinated!”
Basilico’s disregard for COVID-19 prevention has not gone unnoticed by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), which issued the establishment five citations on June 17, with fines totaling $165,520 due to be paid this July.
L.A. Public Schools to Require Weekly COVID Tests for Staff, Students — Vaccinated or Not

The local teachers’ union, United Teachers of Los Angeles (UTLA), was among the more notorious holdouts against schools reopening this past spring, amid demands to defund school police to provide more health funding.
When Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democratic leaders reached a deal on funding to help reopen schools, the UTLA accused him of “propagating structural racism,” on the argument that minorities were more vulnerable to COVID and therefore opening schools in minority neighborhoods would expose those communities to additional risk.
In the spring, students were required to be tested for coronavirus once before returning, but not again thereafter. The students were required to wear masks at school, a requirement that will continue, even during outdoor activity.
Naomi Wolf: ‘A Scary Marriage of Government and Big Tech Censorship’ | CLIP
Naomi Wolf, who after being deplatformed joined the America First class-action lawsuit against Twitter, describes the censorship of information surrounding COVID-19 vaccines, mask mandates, and vaccine passports as a sort of “digital Stalinism,” and a “scary marriage of government and technology in censoring open debate.” She says that in stifling debate,
Big Tech may be acting as a fascistic arm for the federal government.
Twitter Locks Dave Rubin’s Account in ‘Error’

Rubin tweeted “They want a federal vaccine mandate for vaccines which are clearly not working as promised just weeks ago. People are getting and transmitting Covid despite vax. Plus now they are prepping us for booster shots. A sane society would take a pause. We do not live in a sane society.”
Lawyer Ron Coleman, a partner at the Dhillon Law Group, which has worked on numerous high-profile cases against the tech giants, pointed out that Twitter’s “errors” affect the followers of a user as well as the user itself.
“Here’s the thing. When Twitter ‘temporarily limits’ [Dave Rubin’s] ‘account features,’ it also temporarily limits the ‘account features’ of 970,000 other ‘users,” said Coleman.
“That’s not how a business is run in a competitive market. It’s how a #monopoly is run.”
MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell says he’s pulling ads from Fox News following disagreement

According to Lindell, he had asked the network to air a commercial promoting a cyber conference that is scheduled to live stream next month. The commercial does not specifically mention claims of voter fraud, but the symposium is being marketed as an event that will prove the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump.
Lindell says MyPillow spent $50 million at Fox News last year, and close to $20 million for ad time this year.
Lindell and Fox News each have been sued by Dominion Voting Systems for defamation. Fox has moved to dismiss the suit, while Lindell filed a countersuit of his own.
(READ) CDC: 74% who got Covid-19 and most who were hospitalized in recent analysis had been fully vaccinated.

According to a new analysis by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), most of the people who got Covid-19, as well as almost all of those who were hospitalized, had been fully vaccinated.
The report contradicts multiple false reports that have claimed the vaccines are “100% effective” in preventing hospitalization.
It also contradicts false reports that have implied vaccinated people are not spreading Covid-19.
According to CDC, the fully vaccinated are showing just as high of a “viral load” as unvaccinated people who get infected.

GOP senators demand second hearing for embattled ATF nom Chipman over racist comments

The Reload reported on Wednesday multiple corroborations of previous reports that Chipman had denigrated Black agents at the ATF who were up for promotions, with one current agent saying Biden’s nominee “left Detroit because of that.”
“According to the report at the time, an anonymous ATF agent had remembered Mr. Chipman saying,
‘Wow, there were an unusually large number of African American agents that passed the exam this time. They must have been cheating,’” the senators continued, adding that the allegations, while serious, were anonymous and uncorroborated at the time.
The senators stated that the situation has since “changed” after the reports were corroborated in a report by website The Reload earlier earlier this week.
FLASHBACK: Nancy Pelosi Said In April That “We Cannot Require Someone to be Vaccinated” – “It’s A Matter of Privacy”

“We can’t require vaccinations for the members [of the House], much less for the American people,” Pelosi said.
“So, here’s the thing. We cannot require someone to be vaccinated,” Pelosi said. “That is just not what we can do. It is a matter of privacy to know who is or who isn’t.”
“I can’t go to the Capitol physician and say give me names of people who aren’t vaccinated so I can go encourage them or make it known to others to encourage them to be vaccinated,” Pelosi said. “So we can’t do that.”

Mayorkas Offers Work Permits to 100,000 Extra Haitian Migrants

The pro-TPS policy reverses former President Donald Trump’s effort to cancel TPS for roughly 400,000 migrants from multiple countries. Media reports indicated Trump wanted to use this policy to win pro-American immigration reforms from Congress.
Amid cheerleading by progressives and business groups, Biden’s DHS has adopted a strategy of extracting workers, consumers, and renters from other countries for use in the U.S. economy.
He is helping economic migrants get jobs by letting them file for political asylum in the United States.
He is helping teenage economic migrants walk into jobs via a side door created in 2008 law for victimized children.
He is helping older migrants stay in the United States by letting them use the same 2008 law — and refugee rules — to pull their left-behind children up into the United States.
Rep. Chip Roy SLAMS fellow GOP & Dems who support DRAFTING our daughters

But Rep. Chip Roy is having NONE of it. He joins Glenn to explain why he’s calling out his fellow Republicans who don’t denounce this proposal and why he told Congress that “I will NOT be honoring any law that is drafting my daughter.”

Democrat State Rep. Jewell Jones, who was arrested in April for allegedly driving drunk and fighting with state troopers, spent $221 at the Pantheion Club in March, the Detroit Free Press reported.
“We have (to) meet people where they’re at some times … #HOLLA,” Jones responded to a reporter, the paper said.
He added the establishment, which bills itself as “#1 in topless entertainment,” has “great lamb chops.” Campaign finance records showed Jones also spent $700 at a Las Vegas restaurant that same month.

The alleged violations occurred Monday in Kwun Tong’s APM shopping mall, where hundreds of people had convened to watch live footage of the Tokyo Summer Olympics.
Mass viewing events in Hong Kong are common and have become more popular this year in light of Hong Kong athletes’ unprecedented success so far at the Games.

Man attacked for filming subway mourners; US bill bans maps showing Taiwan as part of China
A man in China’s Zhengzhou city was brutally attacked by what appear to be plainclothes police officers as the man captures a video of mourners gathering to pay respects after the city’s subway #FloodDisaster.
Heavy rain and bad management aren’t the only reasons behind the subway tunnel flood. An expert warned about another risk years ago, but the concern wasn’t taken seriously.
Authorities in one of China’s flood-hit cities turned the area’s electricity back on without warning. As a result, volunteers suffer severe electrical shocks while rescuing people from the floods.
A Taliban delegation is now visiting China and meeting with top officials there.
The United States hardens its stance toward Beijing. The House passes a motion involving maps that show Taiwan as part of China.
