The mission dubbed “Operation Not Forgotten 2021” was led in the metro Atlanta area over a two-week period and was the third of its kind, with the previous operation dating back to August 2020.

The identities of the 20 child victims—of which 16 are suspected to be a victim of sex trafficking—are withheld for privacy reasons.

In a separate statement published by U.S. Marshals on Wednesday, they announced that 35-year-old Wayne Marcell of Connecticut was taken into custody at 8:30 a.m. during a raid that stemmed from “Operation Not Forgotten 2021.”

In the process of Marcell’s arrest, another “trafficked and endangered child” was recovered, authorities said. The suspect has been charged with first-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.

The weapon was being tested to see if it was the one used to kill Samuel Olson, Andrea Beall, a prosecutor with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, told reporters Thursday.

“We’re not going to stop until we get justice for little Samuel,” said Beall, who declined to say what type of weapon was found or used to kill the boy.

The disclosure came the same day a third person was charged in the case.

All three face evidence tampering counts and none have been charged with murder, though prosecutors said earlier this month that they expected to bring additional charges against one of them, Theresa Balboa, who was Samuel’s father’s girlfriend.

Massachusetts town creates fund to pay reparations to black residents

The Amherst Town Council voted 12-1 earlier this week in favor of establishing the fund, council clerk Athena O’Keeffe confirmed.

No money is in the fund yet, but town finance officials have proposed a plan to put $210,000 in the account later this year, the Daily Hampshire Gazette reported.

The town, about 90 miles from Boston, has not yet determined who would be eligible to receive money from the reparations fund, O’Keeffe said.

The town council also earlier this week voted unanimously to adopt a charge for the African Heritage Reparation Assembly, which will be made up of six black residents, two of whom are current or former members of elected bodies in Amherst, and one representative of the advocacy group Reparations for Amherst.

McKinney’s background check reportedly revealed nine previous cases and 10 warrants, with charges including aggravated assault, kidnapping and domestic assault.

Lopez also faces charges of assault, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal use of firearm, reckless endangerment and attempted reckless endangerment, police said.

Three armed suspects tried to rob someone at about 2 a.m. outside the home reportedly owned by Fashion Nova founder and CEO Richard Saghian.

Shots were fired during the attempted hold-up, prompting one man working security at the home to return fire, striking two of the suspects, one fatally, LAPD spokesman Jeff Lee told The Post.

Witnesses told KTLA the three victims were working as security guards for a client in Hollywood Hills where a house party was held late Thursday. Several high-end vehicles were seen outside the residence early Friday.

CDC probing Michigan teen’s death after COVID-19 vaccination: county health officials

The Saginaw County Health Department was alerted to the death on June 17.

The death occurred three days after the teenager received a second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, according to a statement shared with Fox News. It was not immediately clear whether the teen had underlying health conditions.

“The investigation as to whether there is a correlation between his death and vaccination is now at the federal level with CDC,” the statement continues.

“Meanwhile, the health department continues to encourage families to speak with their physicians to weigh their own risks and benefits of vaccination.”

Substandard generic drugs are flooding the US market and putting all Americans at risk

Many in Washington will point a finger at the FDA. But the real problem is that U.S. companies choose profit over safety by importing and selling substandard generic drugs across the nation.

These U.S. companies include large group purchasing organizations and wholesalers that follow a very lucrative business model.

They simply scour the globe for the cheapest generic drugs—often from China and India.

For them, the lower the procurement price, the higher the margin of profit—no matter where or how the medicines are produced.

One example is a generic muscle relaxant administered to COVID-19 patients on ventilators.

Texas fast-food chain offers teen managers $50K salaries to combat worker shortage

Texas fast-food chain Layne’s Chicken Fingers is giving teens the opportunity to make $50,000 in order to offset worker shortages, according to its CEO Garrett Reed.

The learning wage period, Reed suggested, allows for the young employees to show their potential to restaurant leadership. He then shared how one 19-year-old manager became well-versed in the business.

“He showed the potential, the work ethic, the drive. He understood our culture, our values. And when the opportunity arose, he took advantage of it,” Reed said.

“In the future, they’re gonna be saying it’s one of the most tumultuous periods in the history of the country,” Rogan said.

Shlesinger chimed in, “We’ll look back and it will be scary. Everybody was afraid of getting canceled, people were eating each other, nobody was listening to science.”

Shlesinger said Americans are “coming across as f—–g idiots,” and Rogan quickly agreed.

“Well, we’re unhinged, in a lot of ways, and we’re not anchored down by a real leader. You know, we don’t really have a real leader in this country anymore,” Rogan said.

“You can say Joe Biden is the president, he’s our leader, and you’d be correct on paper but, I mean, everybody knows he’s out of his mind. He’s just barely hanging in there.”

Tucker: You are watching the death of the future of our country

Commentary/Opinion:
‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ host takes aim at Gen. Mark Milley’s comments on critical race theory in the military.

Politics:

Cotton: The Military Needs ‘to Focus on Real Wars, not on Culture Wars’

Cotton, who rose the rank of captain in the U.S. Army before being honorably discharged, said it is a “waste of time” to expose troops or students in military schools to Critical Race Theory, arguing it undermines unit cohesion and morale.

Instead of focusing on “culture wars,” Cotton said the military should “focus on real wars.”

“The army and military as a whole need to focus on real wars, not on culture wars,” Cotton said on FNC’s “Fox News Primetime.”

“I hope I’m wrong, but what I see there from a distance is what appears to be not education but indoctrination,” host Will Cain posed.

Professor promotes death wish for political opponents

There’s like to be no punishment, the report said, as Andrea Monroe Weaver, a communications official there, said the school “was made aware of the post and has appropriately addressed it.”

The school assured Campus Reform Johnson will be teaching in the fall.

“However, one former student of Johnson’s, Haylie Davis, told Campus Reform that she doesn’t feel like the situation is being handled properly,” the report said.

‘Putting away any personal political preference aside, I think this matter should be addressed and dealt in the same manner that it would be if the word ‘Republican’ was replaced with any other word. If the post stated ‘Blow up women,’ ‘Blow up homosexuals,’ ‘Blow up Catholics,’ etc,” Davis said.

Instead, the vice president was met with protesters waving flags and holding signs supporting former President Trump as well as blasting “Que Mala” — a Spanish phrase meaning “how mean” — for making a “wrong turn” and informing the vice president that El Paso “isn’t Europe.”

A senior border official who spoke on condition of anonymity was critical of Harris for visiting El Paso instead of harder-hit areas.

“If Vice President Harris truly wanted to assess the situation at the border, she’d head to McAllen and sites along the Rio Grande Valley,” that official said.

“It will be worth seeing if this trip extends beyond a rubber stamp of ‘I visited the border.’

Hong Kong Protesters Plan Pro-Democracy Rally on Communist Party’s Birthday

July 1 is also the anniversary of the United Kingdom surrendering the city to communist China in 1997.

Traditionally, human rights groups and pro-democracy advocates have used the date to organize large rallies and protests against Beijing’s growing encroachment upon “One Country, Two Systems,” the policy China agreed to in 1997 that prevents it from imposing communist laws on Hong Kong.

This year, however, the Civil Human Rights Front (CHRF), which for years ensured the legality of rallies by filing permit paperwork, announced it would not organize a rally on July 1.

Last year, multiple senior CHRF members were arrested for organizing the rally and face prosecution under the Beijing “national security” law.

Germany passes new citizenship law for descendants of Nazi victims

Under German law, people stripped of their citizenship on political, racial or religious grounds can have it restored, and so can their descendants.

But legal loopholes had prevented many people from benefiting.

Campaigners say the move allow many to reconnect with their German heritage, particularly in the Jewish community.

“These measures have been necessary stepping stones to rebuilding trust,” he added.

While Germany’s post-war constitution allows citizenship to be restored, the lack of a legal framework meant many people had their applications rejected.

The strikes came hours before Afghan President Ashraf Ghani is set to meet President Biden at the White House Friday afternoon.

An unknown number of Taliban fighters were killed in Baghlan and Kunduz provinces, where the strikes took place.

Three more districts fell to the Taliban overnight.

Meanwhile, Afghan forces took back six other districts elsewhere in the country in the past 24 hours, according to TOLO News in Kabul.

The U.S. military is preparing to pull most of its remaining forces from Afghanistan in the coming weeks, well ahead of the 9/11 deadline announced by President Biden.

Outraged resident EXPOSES school board: ‘If this isn’t FASCISM, then what IS?’

Simon Campbell’s kids may be grown, but as a former member of his district’s school board, he understands more than most the power these local politicians have on the ENTIRE community.

Campbell recently went viral for confronting the Pennsbury School District in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and for exposing its attempts to censor community members with concerns.

But that kind of government oppression won’t fly for this former Brit.

Now a proud American, he’ll do what he can to defend our nation’s sacred freedoms and to expose the far-left’s attempts to squash them: ‘If [this is] not fascism, then tell me what IS fascism,’ he says.

Ayn Rand: The Author People Love to Hate

Ayn Rand is someone people love to hate. Years after her death, people still feel compelled to attack her ideas.

A recent John Oliver segment said her philosophy, objectivism, “is just a nice way of saying ‘being a selfish asshole.’”

Fortunately, not all people think that way. Many young people, discovering Rand for the first time, say that her ideas inspire them.

Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, a free market advocacy group that promotes Atlas on college campuses, says “it’s surprising how much appetite there is” for Rand’s ideas.

When Stossel challenged him, saying, “no, college students are Socialists!” Kirk responds,

“They’re not Socialists… 60% say they think Socialism is a good idea and then 70% say they don’t want to pay higher taxes and they don’t trust the government. They just don’t understand what Socialism really is.”
