Indiana Attorney General Begins Probe into Five Big Tech Corporations for Conservative Censorship Involving Biden’s Nominee Vanita Gupta
The probe includes companies Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, and Twitter over whether they have “harmed Indiana consumers through business practices that are abusive, deceptive and/or unfair.”
Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita said, “In a free society, few assets are more important to consumers than access to information and the opportunity to express political viewpoints in meaningful forums.”
Adding, “It is potentially harmful and unfair for these companies to manipulate content in ways they do not publicly discuss or that consumers do not fully understand.”
The Attorney General also said he is investigating Vanita Gupta over suspected actions to foster the five Big Tech companies to censor conservative viewpoints
Wired: Massive Facebook Data Breach Was Caused by Poorly Coded Features
Breitbart News recently reported that hackers published the phone numbers and personal data of 533 million Facebook users, including users’ full names, locations, phone numbers, and email addresses.
Now, Wired has examined the data in-depth and has provided more context to how the latest Facebook data breach took place. Wired notes that Facebook’s initial response to the leak was that the data was previously reported on in 2019 and that the company had fixed the underlying vulnerability in August of that year.
But according to Wired, the data which first appeared on the dark web in 2019 came from a breach that the social media giant did not disclose in detail at the time and only acknowledged took place earlier this week in a blog post from the company’s product management director Mike Clark.
DC Medical Examiner’s Office Rules Ashli Babbitt’s Death at Capitol a Homicide
Ashli Babbitt, who had been shot by a US Capitol Police officer during the fracas, was killed by a bullet to the left anterior shoulder. Dr. Diaz ruled the manner of death a homicide.
The summary also reads that the “cause and manner of death for Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick are pending.”
As for the others who died, Kevin Greeson and Benjamin Phillips suffered strokes—described in the report as “hypertensive artherosclerotic cardiovascular disease”—and Roseanne Boyland, who lost consciousness and was crushed in the melee, had suffered “acute amphetamine intoxication.”

Burbank police arrest Tinhorn Flats co-owner for third time in COVID compliance battle
The co-owner of the Tinhorn Flats restaurant in Burbank was home Wednesday morning after being arrested by police for removing sandbags the city had put in place to block the front doors of the restaurant.
Lucas Lepejian, 20, was taken into custody about 9:40 a.m. Tuesday after Burbank police said he was seen removing the bags, which were placed in front of the building to keep anyone from entering.
A post Tuesday afternoon on the restaurant’s Instagram page said: “This is the kind of Police Enforcement we are dealing with … they are coming in heavy handed afraid that Tinhorn Flats will make burgers and serve beers.
Lucas is back out of jail for the 3rd time. What a truly sad time in Burbank CA. We will not comply.”

‘Men are coming’: Hundreds of inmates request transfer to women’s prisons since January
Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed S.B. 132 into law in January, a bill that requires the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) to ask every individual entering the department’s custody to specify their pronouns, their gender identity, and whether they identify as transgender, nonbinary, or intersex.
Prison inmates at Chowchilla told the Los Angeles Times that “men are coming” and that the prisoners should anticipate sexual violence.
“That if we think it’s bad now, be prepared for the worst. That it’s going to be off the hook, it’s going to be jumping,” 41-year-old Tomiekia Johnson told the publication that staffers said.
“They say we’re going to need a facility that’s going to be like a maternity ward. They say we’re going to have an inmate program where inmates become nannies.”
Prisoners fear that inmates requesting transfers are lying about their gender identity in order to be transferred to women’s prisons, the LA Times reported.
Schools in this city are inundated with homeless encampments
Seattle parents told Fox News’ Lawrence Jones that they are outraged and concerned as their children are starting to return to school for in-person learning this month while Seattle Public Schools grapples with the presence of homeless encampments on the campuses of two schools.
Jones, who visited Seattle recently, noted on “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday that two Seattle schools, Edmond S Meany Middle School and Broadview Thomson K-8, are inundated with homeless encampments.

While more than a million jobs have been lost in New York and an estimated 80,000 New York businesses may not make it to the end of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, Cuomo and elected state Democrats agreed on a budget deal that provides billions to illegal aliens at the taxpayer’s expense.
In total, roughly 187,000 illegal aliens will benefit from this – and receive benefits whose dollar amount is $1.1 billion more than small businesses will receive in grants and tax credits.

Buses were recorded taking children from the dirt floor child camp under the International Bridge in McAllen to a processing camp in Donna TX.
Then moved to a COVID processing center in downtown McAllen from there, they are processed at a Christian Charity, where they are given bus or airplane tickets and moved to the airport or bus station.
When the crew was walking to the Christian Charity center near the bus station, they witnessed five children and an adult exiting the center and being loaded in a hatch back car.
Three of these children were loaded into the luggage compartment where no seat belts were present.
Capitol riot defendant alleges beating by jail guards
But a startling, graphic account offered publicly in court on Tuesday by one such inmate, Ronald Sandlin, went further: alleging that guards have subjected those charged in the Jan. 6 events to violence, threats and verbal harassment.
In an unusual direct plea to the judge, Sandlin said another Capitol riot defendant, Ryan Samsel, “was severely beaten by correctional officers, [is now] blind in one eye, has a skull fracture and detached retina.”
Sandlin said guards tackled “to the ground” one high-profile prisoner, Richard Barnett, 60, who was photographed with his boot up on a desk in Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office. Sandlin said one of the guards declared, “I hate all white people and your honky religion.”
Federal judge flays Wayne State for bias against Christian student club
“The uncontested facts demonstrate” that the taxpayer-funded institution and two officials violated the Constitution’s Establishment Clause and the club’s rights to “internal management, free speech, freedom of association, freedom of assembly, and free exercise as a matter of law.”
The judge gave a history of English state interference in religious affairs going back several hundred years.
The First Amendment was adopted against this backdrop, and the Supreme Court has “repeatedly and unequivocally stated the First Amendment creates a broad right against any government intrusion into a religious organization’s internal affairs.”

Pete Buttigieg: Racism Is ‘Physically Built’ into American Infrastructure
Speaking to TheGrio, Buttigieg argued that some highways and bridges across several cities were designed to divide communities by race.
“There is racism physically built into some of our highways, and that’s why the jobs plan has specifically committed to reconnect some of the communities that were divided by these dollars,” he added.
Biden’s infrastructure plan would dedicate $20 billion to “reconnect neighborhoods” by investing in projects designed to “advance racial equity and environmental justice.”
In March, Buttigieg’s agency sent a letter to the state of Texas requesting it pause an interstate expansion in Houston as it investigates racial justice complaints.
Biden expected to announce executive actions on gun control Thursday
President Biden will announce new executive action on gun control on Thursday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki indicated.
Biden has called for a ban on “assault weapons” and high-capacity magazines, which would likely take an act of Congress.
He could, however, use regulatory authority to restrict access to such guns.
“I think that President Biden will try to get away with as much as he can with executive orders,” Alan Gottlieb, founder of the Second Amendment Foundation, told Fox News, adding that his organization is “very prepared to go to court” if Biden oversteps.
AOC, Justice Democrats silent on Tennessee candidate Odessa Kelly’s pro-violence statements
Justice Democrats and members of Congress linked to the group have been silent after news that Odessa Kelly, a progressive congressional candidate from Tennessee backed by Justice Democrats, has a history of inflammatory social media posts, including calls for violence against Republican lawmakers.
Those included standard Democratic wishes for stimulus checks, packing the Supreme Court and student loan forgiveness, as well as jokes about attacking GOP leaders.
“Day 9: Allow Pelosi to hire the best pimp that Memphis or Detroit has to offer to Smack tha [emoji] outta Ted Cruz and the rest uv’em…(y’all know the ones)!” she wrote.

Aside from her jokes, Kelly’s Facebook history includes an April 2012 post about how she was attending a speech being delivered by anti-Semitic Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and a May 2020 post declaring, “If you vote for Trump, YOU ARE A RACIST!”

EU regulator identify ‘possible link’ between AstraZeneca and blood clots
The European Union’s medicines regulator says it has found a “possible link” between the AstraZeneca vaccine and blood clots in adults.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has studied 86 reported cases of blood clots in vaccine recipients.
A majority of cases were recorded in women under the age of 60 and Executive Director Emer Cooke says the condition should be listed as a possible side effect but that it is not cause for alarm.
