Bhattacharya began the interview discussing the Great Barrington Declaration, which he co-authored.

The document argues that COVID-19 lockdowns “are producing devastating effects on short and long-term public health.

The results (to name a few) include lower childhood vaccination rates, worsening cardiovascular disease outcomes, fewer cancer screenings and deteriorating mental health – leading to greater excess mortality in years to come, with the working class and younger members of society carrying the heaviest burden.

Keeping students out of school is a grave injustice.”

It adds that “keeping these measures in place until a vaccine is available will cause irreparable damage, with the underprivileged disproportionately harmed.”

The declaration as of Thursday indicates that over 13,000 medical and public health scientists have signed it, along with over 41,000 medical practitioners.

With that, Bhattacharya told Wolf that the Great Barrington Declaration “comes from two basic facts.”

37 People Arrested for Human Trafficking, Prostitution Operation in Texas

The police department’s Special Operations Division carried out a two-day enforcement operation that resulted in charges including prostitution, promotion of prostitution, sexual assault, human trafficking, unlawful carrying of a weapon, evading arrest, failing to identify, possession of drug paraphernalia, and other outstanding warrants, officials said in a news conference and in a Facebook news release.

“Some investigations from this operation are still on-going and more arrests are expected. Detectives interview all arrestees of prostitution to identify human trafficking victims,” the news release said.

House of Hypocrites” Marjorie Green says illegal immigrants are treated better than Americans

Law enforcement at the border encountered more than 100,000 migrants at the border in February, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced Wednesday, as the Biden administration faces a dramatically escalating crisis – and admits the numbers are “overwhelming.”

CBP encountered 100,441 individuals in February, a 28 percent increase over January, the agency said.

Of those, 19,246 individuals were in family units; 9,457 were unaccompanied children (UACs) and 71,598 were single adults.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Launches Attack Against Free Speech Social Media Platform

“Antisemitic platforms like Gab have no place in Texas and certainly do not represent Texas values,” the Republican said in a video posted on Twitter on Wednesday.

Gab defended itself by directly responding to Abbott’s tweet and explaining how it supports “the political speech of all Americans.”

“Gab is not an ‘anti-semitic’ platform,” the social media company replied. “We protect the political speech of all Americans, regardless of viewpoint, because in this age of cancel culture nobody else will.

That means unpopular viewpoints may be found on the site.”

“There are many Jewish Gab users and customers, whose lawful speech we protect with just as much zeal as we would protect the lawful speech of any person of any faith, ethnicity, or creed,” Andrew Torba said in a statement topped with a header resembling Texas’s unofficial but popular “come and take it” flag design.

Farmers react to billions in COVID-19 relief bill for Black farmers: ‘Where did common sense go?’

“Just because you’re a certain color you don’t have to pay back money?

I don’t care if you’re purple, black, yellow, white, gray, if you borrow money you have to pay it back,” Kelly Griggs, who runs her 1,800-acre farm with her husband in Humboldt, Tennessee, told Fox News in an interview.

The relief package includes an estimated $4 billion to pay up to 120% of Black, Hispanic, Asian or Native American farmers’ outstanding debt as of Jan. 1, according to the American Farm Bureau Federation.

The package also designates about $1 billion for equity commissions, agricultural training, improved land access and other assistance to advance racial justice in farming.

“What happened to equal protection under the law? This is wrong and un-American.

I’m sure there are a lot of Americans out there that would love to have our tax dollars pay off all their debts. This is targeted to a very select few,” Graves wrote on Facebook on March 4.

Aspirin may protect against COVID-19, Israeli research finds

In the peer-reviewed research, they found that in a sample of Israeli PCR tests, patients who take small doses of aspirin were 29 percent less likely to test positive.

They cross-referenced 10,477 results with medical records covering what preventive drugs patients take.

“We were really excited to see a big reduction in the proportion of people testing positive, and this gives a promising indication that aspirin, such a well-known and inexpensive drug, may be helpful in fighting the pandemic,” Milana Frenkel-Morgenstern of Bar-Ilan University told The Times of Israel.

As well as concluding that people who take aspirin, which was developed more than 120 years ago, are less likely to be diagnosed with the virus, Frenkel-Morgenstern hit on another “important” finding:

Aspirin users who are diagnosed with COVID-19 are likely to have a shorter illness — by about two days — and be less likely to suffer from aftereffects of the coronavirus, she reported.

Sean Davis: New York Times TikTok Reporter Taylor Lorenz Stalks Children On The Internet, Then Complains About Harassment

“She would say she writes about internet culture and tech, when in reality she’s actually the journalism equivalent of the creeper cruising by the schoolyard asking the kids if they want any free attention in The New York Times.

She stalks teenagers on the internet,” Davis said. “And this isn’t my opinion.

She says as much, and she even talks about how if she were a dude doing what you were doing, people would think it’s kind of creepy.”

Davis added, “she admits that she sometimes finds it difficult to really get what the kids really want to tell her because sometimes the parents get involved.”

“She harasses kids and teenagers and gets them to say things so she can basically mine them for clicks,” Davis said.
